Royalty has captured the heart of a hunter.

Queen Victoria walked around her castle with a dog walking beside her. Then she walked ing her garden.

It was the fresh air  that made her feel alive.

"Oh! Jacquenlyn. I love our morning stroles don't you?" she said to her.

"Yes my lady." she said but all the queen heard were two barks.

"Good girl." she said patting her head.

  "Oh! I wonder about treaty with the French will still be in progress when they come to sign the treaty. If somthing goes wrong whole war will break out." the queen said in a worried tone.

Jacquenlyn rubbed against her leg to comfornt her. Again she patted her head.

Jacquenlyn was always called by her full name. The only person who calls her "Jackie" is her only fox friend Benedict but likes to be called "Ben".

Jackie was given to the king and Queen as a gift from the French to keep their peaceful plans even though its still shakey between the english and french.

She never knew her parents or her siblings.

 Ben was all the family she needed.

They met when Jackie first week at the castle. The king hunted his parents.

He left Ben alone thinking he wasn't worth much in the fox hunt mostly because of his black fur.

Thought it was a bad luck omen.

He was crying near the lake were everyday Jackie would at least once go to relax.

At first He growled at her.

She asked why he was crying out of concern.

He sniffed and told her how he saw them hunt down his parents a he hid in the den alone waiting. He heard two gunshots but still waited.Then he knew they were gone.

Jackie felt sorry for Ben. She swore that they be siblings forever and protect each other.

From that day they were always together.

After the walk with the queen she snuck out to the forest behind the castle for Ben.

"Ben! Ben, are you there?" she yelled.

"Always!" a black fox came out of the forest.

"I just heared that the french might sign a peace treaty." she said.

"I thought they sent you to offer peace offer." he said.

"Apparently that wasn't enough. They'll meet in about three days. I wonder what they'll do now?" She said him.

"Hey! mabey we should find out what they have to say when they arrive?" he said with an evil smirk.

"BEN! That's spying!! We can't do that! its not proper!" Jackie felt totally unconforntable about the whole thing.

"Who said we can't? Come on! It'll be fun! Too scared that we get caught?" he said teasing her. 

"Hey! I'm not scared!" she yelled.

"Great! then I'll meet you on the morning before they come in the main hall. See ya!" he ran back to the forest before Jackie could protest.

"Perfect." she said annoyed. before she went back to the big castle.

Three days went fast and Jackie was surprised that she was excited to go spy on the king and queen.

Ben was always up for an adventure.

Since Jackie was raised by the royalty of the queen she barley had time for runing or playing.

Since Ben was basiclly her brother he always tried to get her to join him and his magnet-for-touble personallity in his plans for excitment.

But she would cave in and most of the time. She would have barley escape the danger Ben would put them through.

A big army of men was covering almost the whole field of the kingdom.

But even though this meeting was for peace, Jackie felt that something evil was coming and soon.

Jackie was waiting for be near the service entrance. She was behind a barrel so the humans couldn't see.

"Where is he? He should have been here by-"

"Hi sunshine! Ready for some fun?!" Ben shouted behind her.

"Ben you jerk! I mean Ben that's not proper behavior!" she said to him.

"Proper ? Oh grow up! Come on Princess let's have some fun!" said Ben rushing into the castle.

"No! Ben! Wait!" she said runing after him.

"Hey no animals allowed in!! Hey!! Come back you mutts!!!" a servent dropped the box he carried to follow them. 

"In here!" said Ben behind the throne. "Not there." she thought but she dashed in before the servent could follow.

"What are you doing here!?" said the king entered the room.

The servent dropped to his nees."My Lord! I'm sorry but I have to catch-" 

"Get the food in before they arrive! I need everyone to be at their best today. The smallest mistake could star a full scale war!" The king said in a worried tone.

"Yes my lord." the servent said as he left.

They made funny faces to the servent who was a little angery.

"King Edward!" a voice echoed in the room.

The king turned around.

"King Maurice! And Qween Isabell! welcome to my kingdom. I see you had no problem inviting yourself in." he said in a irritated tone.

King Maurice smiled. "With this compact so-called-castle is not hard to find you way around. " he snapped back.

The King Edward was about to argue untill his wife came to view.

"Now Now my king we should be kind to our guest." she said sitting down on her throne.

"Yes we must get to the purpose of this meeting king Maurice." Isabell said to him placing a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

He nodded as he started to wak with Edward to the throne.

"Why are they always so mad at each other? Its kind of stupid." Ben said to Jackie. 

"No one knows why but they say that their families had problem generations ago. Hopfully now the treaty will end all of it today." She explained to ben.

"What could've happened that would last all these years in war fighting each other like that?" he asked.

"Who knows?" she said.

The humans started t otalk by them.

"How's your pet doing?" Isabell asked Victoria.

"I absolutley love her!! Perfectly fine! Couldn't ask for more." she said with a big smile.

"I doubt that. I got one more to your liking Edward." Maurice.

"Really? Please tell me more." Edward.

"Since the war is over you'll have more spare time. Like hunting?" he said  to edward.

"What are you getting at?" he said annoied that he didn't just tell him what it was he wanted to give.

"Hunting dogs! Jeez!" Maurice said.

" We don't need more dogs. Trust me." Edward said.

"Thses aren't normal dogs. These dogs are trained since birth too hunt and kill. I thought you like hunting so hunting dogs seemed the right gift." he explained to Edward.

Edward did love hunting. Now that they stopped fighting he would love to ....

"Can I see the dogs first before I agree to this?" he said.

"Edward!" said Victoria but was ignored.

"Well?" he said.

The qweens looked like the whole thing was pointless.

"Okay!! I'll give you a month with the dogs and you'll give me your answer." The kings shook hands in agrement.

"Tomarrow the dogs should be at your disposale."he said before leaving.   

The qweens shook their heads.

The couple left the castle.

"Edward! Why are doing this? You could have eaisly just accepted the dogs and sighed the treaty and the feud betweenthem and us wouldhave been over." she said.

"What?! And let him be happy knowing that he stopped this by simply giving gifts to each other? No! I must know if this is just a trap to take over our home!" he explain.

"Oh..." she sighed walking with him.

"Cool! Now we can have more playmates." said Ben 

"You need to go before  someone sees you Ben. I'll go to the Queen to make sure she doesn't see you." said Jackie.

She ran quickly to the qween and whimpered to be picked up.

"Jacquenlyn! Oh I'm so glad to see you. What a day its been for us." she said sadly. She licked the qween. She smiled.

"What would I do without you?" she asked her with a smile.

Ben sneaked passed the queen and the service to the forest.

The day was over and Jackie was going into the huge bed next to the qween's side of the side.

"Ihope this wasn't a mistake." the queen said before going to her ned and blew out her candle light.

Jackie couldn't sleep all night. Too curious about the new deal. Neither side could survive war. Most of the men are either sick or dead because of the last war.

The next day was nerve wrecking for Jackie she asked so many question.

Who are they or what are they? Will they be kind or ruthless? Will she get along with them or wil they be enemies?

That day she as she walked outside asked herself these questions many times.

Even when Ben tried to scare her from behind she was too zoned out to freak out.

"Hello!!?? I siad Hello!" he said waving his paw in front of her face.

"Huh? Oh hi Ben! When you get here?" she said coming back to reality.

"What's clogged your brain this time squirt?" he said.

"Nothing its just.....Aren't you alittle worried about those hunting dogs Ben?! They could kill you!!" she said.

"Me? Killed? I run so fast around them they'd think I'm a tornado. I'm the fastest fox ever!!" he said with his head up high.

"Being cocky is not going to save you Ben! Be serious for once!! I can't lose you!" she said getting louder.

"Calm down! It was a joke. I promise that I'll be careful okay? Don't worry." he said rubbing his paw on her head.

"Hey watch the paws! My fur!" she whined. She tried to fix her fur.

He laughed.

A bell echoed in the sky.

The two jumped in loud sound of the cell.

"There're here!" she said runing to the front of the castle.

"Wait up Jackie!" Ben said runing after her. 

As soon as he said that she stopped in her tracks.

It was so sudden that he couldn't stop.

He crashed into her.

"What's wrong with you?! at least tell me or give me a sign that you're about to-" then he saw why she stopped.

A whole pack of dogs focused on Ben. Mix of great danesBeagles and other hunting dogs.

The humans were not that far behind them.

"Ben....run....!" Jackie said quietly.

He stood still. Overwelmed with the numberof dogs in front of him.

"A black fox huh? never seen that before." the leader of them said.

"I don't care what color he is!!! Its still food to my eyes!!! the one next to him said getting closer to him.

"Go now!!" she pushed him to move.

He started to run as fast as he could.

The dogs passed Jackie and chased Ben. She ran after them too. 

They ran for at least 6 minates.

Most of the dogs gave up.

But there was one dog who kept at Ben speed.

No matter what Ben did the dog was still behind him.

It was too much for Ben.

No one has ever made him run this long!!!

Ben collasped.

"Oh no!! BEN!!" she screamed runing towards him and the dog.

"I'm sorry it had to be this way but this is my duty." the dog said placing his paw on his throut.

Before he could strike something thing hit him of of Ben.

"Don't you dare come any closer!!" Jackie said bareing her teeth.

The dog got up. Shocked that this little dog knocked him down.

"Stand aside! This is no concern foryou." he said.

"Like heck it does!! Leave this fox alone!!" she barked and crouched to begin to fight.

She never fought before but she do anything for Ben's life. 

The dog thought  "huh. I can eaisly brush her aside."  but something stopped him when he looked at her hazel eyes.

To the surprise of everyone he simply walked away.

She quickly check Ben. "Ben you have to get up before the king sees you!!"she said  Ben was weak but he tried his best to move to the bushes.

The dogs looked angry. "What's your problem!?!? you could of took out the runt and the fox in a flash!! Why you stop?!" the leader shouted.

"I don't know sir." he said.

"I think he stopped because he got an eye for that runt." one said.

"Impossable! A dristraction such as that is not allowed in the honor of the hunters. We serve the king that is all!!" the leader said.

All said."Yes sir!!"

A hron was blown to regoup with the humans.

The dog looked back at Jackie.

"Not bad looking for a house pet." he thought.

After Ben was gone Jackie walked back to the castle."Wow!I'm not sure I could take him but at least he backed off." she thought.

The she saw the dog that chased Ben looking at her. Her body started to feel warm and her pulse raced.

"Dominic! Let's go!" the leader said. He ran back to the pack.

"Dominic? Cute name...." She shook her head. "Am I crazey?! I can't fall in love with HIM! she thought runing back confused.

But little did they know that first meeting has started a change in both their worlds!
