"Hey Kodi!" said Jason ( Kaltag's son ) " there's a party tomarrow...are you going?'

"Sure", he replied. Jason walked home

The next day at morning......

"Hey dusty", said Kodi.

"yeah?" dusty said.  "Are you going to the party tonight?" he asked "yeah" she said.

kodi tried to think of how to ask dusty out. "uuummm.....will you go with me?" kodi laughed a little.

"Kodi, are you trying to ask me out?" asked Dusty.

"uhhhhhhhhh.....yeah" he replied.

"Yes.." she said grinning" see ya tonight. she walked up to him and nuzzled him..

Kodi was surprised....he had never had a girlfriend before.

Later that night ......

Dusty walked to the boat to so Kodi could walk to the party.....Balto was already there and didn't know Kodi and Dusty were going out.

Kodi walked out. "Whoa!" Kodi said "Dusty, you look AWESOME!"

"Thanks, come on let's go", she smiled.

They walked to the party.

They got to the entrance and walked in.

Balto and Jenna were talking when he saw Kodi out of the corner of his eye nuzzling Dusty. He tapped Jenna so she could see. They both smiled happily that Kodi had found a girl.

A slow song was put on...."wanna dance?" asked Kodi

"of course", dusty said.

The party ended and Kodi walked dusty home.When they arrived they said good night, nuzzled and she went in.

When Kodi got home Balto was already ther.

"soooooo....did you have a fun time with Dusty?" asked Balto.

Kodi laughed"so you know".

"yeah, and im glad too", balto said.

They both went to sleep.

The next day........

Jason yelled "Kodi....koooddiiiii....KODI!!!"

kodi woke up and went outside.

"what?" he asked

"congrats with dusty"he said.

"thanks" replied Kodi

"hey...i have a crush on Sidney" jason said

Sidney was a brown and white Malamute who lived in the neighborhood.

"I need you to ask her out for me" jason told him.

"ok, whatever", kodi said.

Kodi left and went to Sidney's house. she was outside on the porch.

"hey Kodi" sidney said.

"hey i need to talk to you", said kodi

Kodi layed down next to her on the porch.

"do you like jason at all, in any way???" he asked

"yeeeaaah" she said curiously.

Kodi didnt ask if it was more than a friend or not.

"will you go out with him?"kodi asked

Right when Kodi asked, dusty was walking by. she saw him laying next to her and heard will you go out with- dusty listened to the rest.

"Yes! of course i will" she said...kodi smiled at her "great!" he said

dusty heard that and ran off furiously. kodi saw dusty and thought oh know! he ran and caught up to her.

"What do you want!?!" yelled dusty

"dusty i can explain" said kodi

"why did you ask her out??? i thought you loved me!?!" asked dusty

"i dooo! youve got it allll wrong!" he said

"explain" she said

"jason has a crush on sidney and told me to ask her out for him. so i came and asked her....you missed parts of the conversation." kodi told her.

"oh. i'm sorry kodi, im sorry i didnt trust you." dusty said feeling stupid.

Kodi laughed and nuzzled her.
