Chapter 1

Saltash stood alone on a moutain top looking at the open land. KK walked up to his leader. "Do you like it?" She asked him. Salty shook his head. "I dunno. It just doesn't feel right." He said to her. "Well, I like it. But, it's you and Better's decision." KK said to him. Salty nodded. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Come on let's go hang out with the wrest of the pack."

The pup they adopted 4 and a half months ago was much older. She lay in a den with Mystery Aleu by her side. The whole pack was asleep. Hybrid Misfit was under his navy blue blanket, Kim was under her hot pink blanket snuggling her teddy bear, MA was under her battery charged blue blanket snuggling her Tickle Me Elmo and her Gir from Invader ZIM plushie. Lizzie opened one eye. She heard someone special was coming to the join the pack forever and ever. But when? She wanted to stay awake for two days straight. She pushed MA a bit. "What is it Liz?" She whispered. "When is our guest gonna be here?" Lizzie asked. MA groaned. "Oh I dunno Lizzie. Shh. Go to bed my angel." MA whispered. Lizzie nodded and lay back down. Cole walked inside their cave. "Hey MA come here. Someone's here to see ya." MA leaped forward and went outside. Lizzie got up to watch MA. She turned back to the cave. She hit Hybrid softly. "Hey Hybrid." She said. Hybrid shook his head waking up. "Wha?" He asked. MA leaned forward to his ear. "Look after Lizzie and make sure she doesn't spy one me." She said. Hybrid gasped. "ONLY Liz?" He asked. MA forgot. "And Jack. Mainly Jack."

Chapter 2

MA ran outside. What she saw was her fiance. The man she loved Will. She rushed up to him nuzzling him. "You're alright thank God!" She said. Will smiled at her deeply. "I've missed you." Will said. MA nuzzled him again. "Me too. We have a new member of the pack that you have to be responsible a lot of the time." She said. Will nodded. "Alright I can handle that." He said.

MA walked Will over to the mouth of the cave. "You see the tan pup next to Hybrid?" She asked. Will nodded his head fast. "Yeah." "That's Lizzie. We adopted her in the woods when she was a rogue. The whole pack takes care of her," MA said. She smiled leaning on Will's shoulder. "I think she'll like you." She said. Will giggled kissing her forehead. "Aww." MA looked up at her mate. "I suggest you sleep outside so you don't disturb her. It's not cold. You can sleep in the cave tomorrow night I promise." MA said. Will agreed with her statement. "Alright. Good night my luv." He said nuzzling MA once more. "'Night Will." She said.

Before walking back into the cave MA looked into Jack's cave making sure he was asleep. He was sleeping like a pup. A soft sigh of relief escaped her mouth.

She went to her spot in the cave not awaking Hybrid to get Lizzie. Man I hope she likes him. MA thought. She shook her head and lay her head down on the damp ground.

Chapter 3

Lizzie slept in, she was dying to know who the person coming was. They had Kim stay in the den and watch her until they where done welcoming Will back.

Better and Salty stood up on a mountain with Will behind them. "Everyone, we have an old friend and member of our pack returning Will, MA's fiance is back." Better said. Will stepped forward blushing. After that Will wallked down the mountain greeting his old friends. After everyone else he stood infront of Jack. "Good to see you 'gain William." Jack said smirking. "Same to you Jack."

After that they let Lizzie awake. MA snuggled Lizzie. "Liz you see that wolf over there?" She asked in a caring voice. Lizzie nodded. "Uh-huh." MA walked closer to Will. "Well, he's the suprise. His name is Will. He is my fiance a.k.a. my mate. Lizzie I love him. And I hope u love him too." MA gestured for Will to come closer. He blushed. "Hey Liz." He said. Lizzie looked up at him. "Hi Will." She said. Will leaned over with his head on the ground. "Jump on kid." Will said. Lizzie stepped on his head slowly. MA giggled. "Don't drop her hun'." Will nodded to his fiance's statement. Yay! She really likes him and he likes her.

Chapter 4

The seven best friends of the pack MA, Hybrid, Cole, Better, Chiboa, Arcturus and Kim strolled around the forest. "So, how are things going with Liz and Will?" Chiboa asked. MA giggled. "They're getting really close. He clicked with her real fast." It felt good for her to poor out her feelings about her fiance and the pup she 'sits. "So, do you know if Jack likes you yet?" Kim asked. MA growled. "We are not going through this. Jack doesn't like me. He knows I love Will and he knows I don't like him." MA said. Kim blushed. "I'm sorry. I'll stop."

Out of the Blue two wolves came. "Who are you?" Cole asked staring at the wolves from head to toe. "I'm Jade. This is Elliot. The one with the mask and the dude next to you? You Linkin Park fans?" The white wolf asked. Hybrid and MA had there neckleces on that said 'LP' in the signature Linkin Park logo. They covered them in embarrasment. "Yeah. Are you?" Hybrid asked Jade. She nodded. "Oh yeah. You a pack?" Jade continued asking. Arcturus had to interrupt. "We're part of a pack. Are you two in one?" He asked. Elliot shook his head. "No. Neither of us are. Need anyone to join?" He asked. The gang of friends gasped huddling up. "Better please can we let them join?" Begged Chiboa. Better sighed. "I don't know JC. I think we can let them in." He said. They all huddled around Better hugging him. "Your welcome. Don't sufficate me I need to breath." He said getting out of the group hug. "If we talk to our other leader I think we can let you join. Welcome to the Lone Pack." Better said. Jade and Elliot nodded. "Thanks."

Chapter 5

Better stood next to Salty by the river. "Salty may I please make an announcment tonight?" Better asked. Salty nodded. "Sure I don't see why not." Salty said.

Better stood infront of Jade and Elliot. "I know it's been news everywhere lately but, we have two new members of our pack. Meet Elliot and Jade." Better said. Jade and Elliot stepped forward blushing. Everyone smiled. KK pushed Cole to the side and walked up to the newcomers. "Welcome." She said. Jade looked over to Cole looking at his brused nose from when KK pushed him. Gah! That hurt! Cole thought. But, KK didn't like Cole either...

Chapter 6

JC walked Jade and Elliot into the cave. "This is basically the spare cave. When, we get more pack members they'll join it too." JC said. Elliot smiled. "Thanks." He said. The baby blue and white she wolf smiled stepping into the cage with the new comers. "Just make yourselfs at home." She said. Jade and Elliot put their things down and lay in the cave.

After a long wrest it was time for them to go hunting. Jade and Elliot where very excited because they hadn't went hunting for game with a pack in months. In seconds they both felt at home. Being glomped with giggles and smiles they felt happy.

There was a deer standing out in the trees. KK and Cole pounced forward. "Move! It's mine!" KK complained. Cole pushed her to side. "No way! Move you flippin' idiot!" After the statment KK pushed Cole once more to the side. Cole had, had it with KK. He pushed her over and she collapsed. But, it was to late; the deer was gone. One of these days she'll pay for what she did to me. Cole thought to himself. But, he shook his head and went back into his cave.

Chatper 7

KK lay in the snow unable to get up. Her paw was bleeding. She finally got up walking over to a huge rock to sleep. KK's hatrid for Cole was growing more and more.

KK was tossing and turning all night. At 5:30 in morning she limped over to her cave. Her paws hurt and there was a spot without fur on her kneck. She groaned softly turning over on her belly. Salty and Better heard the Husky-Wolf and walked into the cave to check on her. "She seems troubled." Salty whispered. Better nodded. "She'll want to leave our pack soon I can feel it." Better said softly under his breath. The two pack leaders stared down at KK one last time and turned back into their cave.

"Alright, since we just went on the morning hunt does anyone have anything they'd like to say?" Salty asked. KK stepped forward. "I have some bad news for some of you..." She glared down at Cole for a moment. "and maybe good news for others. I have decided to leave the pack." She said. The pack sighed and nodded. Lizzie had tears in her eyes. "We'll miss you KK." Lizzie said sniffling. KK smiled flatly and nodded to the young pup. She jumped over the hill and off into the forest. Will noticed that a small sigh of relief escaped the side of Cole's mouth.

That night Will and MA sat alone talking. "I feel so bad for Cole..." MA whispered leaning over on her mate's shoulder. Will nodded. "Yeah... KK hated him with a burning passion." He said flatly. MA looked deeply into Will's eyes. "Do you think Cole will ever be whole again?" She asked. Will nodded. "Maybe... If we help him." He said. They all wanted to help him...

Chapter 8

Will sat in the cave bonding with Lizzie as MA lay out by the lake. Jack walked up to her. "Hello luv." He said. MA turned her head. "Hi Jack." She said. Jack giggled and put his sly flirty smile on his face. "You and Will are still pretty serious I see." He stated. MA nodded. "Of course. I don't love you." She said growling. Jack raised one eyebrow. "Oh really?" He asked. The light brown and cream wolf shook her head. "I do not." She said. Jack rolled his eyes at her. "Sure..." He smirked. MA growled. "I do NOT!" She spat at him. At that moment Will slipped down the hill. "Oh, I'm sorry I'll just go you two." MA's mate said walking back up the hill slowly. MA shook her head. "Oh no dear it's fine." She said. Will nodded glaring at Jack. Jack leaned over to MA's ear. "He hates me." He whispered. MA shook her head. "He does not." She whispered back. Will smiled at Jack. "Jack; I think we got off on the wrong foot. So, can we just start over?" He asked. Jack nodded. "I guess..." He said stepping back a few inches. MA was hoping this would work.

Lizzie slept in the dark cave tossing and turning. A light brown and tan she-wolf walked into the cave slowly. The wrest of the pack was out hunting and told Lizzie to stay there and go to bed early. The wolf grabbed Lizzie by the scruff of the kneck and dragged her outside. "I've got her now." The wolf said. Another male wolf with emerald-green eyes and dark black fur nodded. "Finally!" He said happily.

Chapter 9

Arcturus turned over in his sleep unable to feel Lizzie's presence. He opened one eye. "Liz?" No answer. "Lizzie!?" He shouted. Arc ran to each cave. "Lizzie's gone." He shouted walking to each cave.

Everyone sat ashamed. "Someone must go to help find her." Better said. MA stepped forward. "Well, I'm basically her mother so." She said. After MA's statment Jack stepped forward. "I'll go with her." The dark wolf said batting the eyelashes above his emerald green eyes. Will pushed him back. "No! I'll go with you." The she-wolf's fiance growled. Saltash howled bringing the pack to a hushed silence. "MA I suggest you don't go with both men alone. You should choose who. One or the other." The leader said softly as light as a feather. "I.... I...."

Chapter 10

"I'm not going with either or you! Hybrid you're in luck!" MA shouted sternly. "I'll let you all catch up with me later. Aniu will send you message when I'm ready." 

I can't do this. I'm in love. My pup is gone... So, I'm stuck with my best friend instead. All because two wolves are toying with my emotions at the same flipping time! This is over.....
