A gray wolf with black stockings, ear tips,and star on his side.He also has a white tail tip. He was running around his border to check for dangers.He is the alpha male of Timber Wolf Lake Pack.After securing the border he went back to his pack until he heard a twig snap."He y bro!Any dangers to be wary of?"said an unknown male wolf.The alpha look up and saw a wolf identical to him but doesn't have a star on his side, instead he has a thunder bolt marking on his shoulders."Hey Sparky! No so far the pack is safe" said the alpha. "Alright I gotta see Jennifer wants to see " Sparky said."Ooo! Jennifer huh!"the alpha teased."Ha! Ha! Very funny Blato!" Sparky spat back.Sparky is Balto's brother and he is the beta male of the pack
After the conversation with his brother, Balto went to check on his mate, Balka. Balka was pregnant with thier third litter for about three months.He went into his den and saw a silver grey she-wolf with white stocking, ear tips, and tail- tip laying on some hay curl into a ball.Balto went to wake Balka up to tell her, he's going on a hunt. But when he got closer he saw nine balls of fluff next to his mate.
Balka woke up from the sound of pawsteps and saw her mate stunned to see the pups."Oh Balka! They're beautiful!" Balto said."What should we name them?" Balka asked."Which one are the boys?" Balto asked. Balka points to four pups and the other five pups are girls. Balto saw a brown pup with black socks, a strip that starts on his forehead and went down to the tip of his tail. He also has a white bridge on his nose and chest. On his chest he has an unusual marking.Balto notices the pup's unusual marking and thought he was a special pup. So he name him Forest of thinking one day he might do something special for the pack. Balka agreed to the name Forest and saw a white female pup, who happens to have similar markings to her older brother Shadow. Balka saw that she has one black left front paw, and tail- tip."Look Balto! This pup is the opposite of Shadow in different colors." Balto saw this and thought the name Winter, so her name would also be the opposite of her brother Shadow. The next pup is rust color with darker shade of rust stripes on his back. He also has black paws and around his eyes. Balka thought the name Redd since he is mostly rust color.The second brown pup caught Balto's eyesthe most because she is identical to her grandmother Rose. Actualy the brown pup and Rose are kinda like Shadow and Winter. Rose is rust color and has a brown muzzle, sock and tail- tip. The brown pup is the opposie of her grandmother. She is brown with rust color muzzle, socks and tail- tip. She also has white tip ears and a strip that starts on her forehead and ends to her partly tip tail. Balto thought the name Roselina, after his mother Rose.
Balto and Balka's third daughter is gold with white chest, stocking, and small strips on her tail. She also has black back right paw and ear tips. Balka name her Sandy for her coloring. She also has notice that Sandy has a star marking under her left eye and crescent moon marking under her right eye. Balka believes that Sandy will also be special too. The second white pup is a boy and Balka name him Artic for his coloring. Artic has gray socks, tail-tip , and ear tips. The other pup is a black female with gray socks, chest, and around her eyes. She also has white ear tips, small strips on her tail, and one moon marking with three small stars under each eye. Balto thought that she is also special and name her Raven for her dark coloring. The last female pup is dark gray with rust color bracelet on her front paws and around her eyes. Under her rust color bracelet, she has light gray paws and she also has a white chest. Balka name her Dusty for her dark dusty gray fur coat. Finally the last pup is a boy. He has bluish silver fur coat with darker shade of blue stripes on his back. He also has white stocking on his front legs, chest, and blaze marking. At the same time Balto and Balka said River for the pup's name. He actually has the same color fur coat as his aunt, Balka's sister Dream.
After naming the pups, Balto called to the pak. All of Balto and Balka's first and second litter pups came to see the new pups. Not only the pups and parents came to the den to see the pups, so dd the alpha's siblings. All the pack members congradulated the alphas.
After two weeks of caring their newborn pups, Balto heard paws steps and saw a group of males invading his territoy. Balto sprang and bite one of the male's neck. He kill the male and the rest of the male's gang sprang upon Balto. Balto fought his might against these invaders.
After three hours of fighting, Balto kll all of the males and went to find the pack."Hey guys, I have some bad news." Balto said worriedly. "What something happen to the pups? Did one of them died?!" Jennifer asked worriedly. She and Balka are best friends and Jennifer will do anything for her best friend. "No! No! Nothing happen to the pups, but I fought a group of male wolves that try to take over our territory. So I want you all to be wary of intruders" Balto said. Everyone gave a sigh of relief that the pups are alright and nodded to Balto's instructions.
It's been two weeks since the incident wiht the intruders and the pups have their eyes open and started to walkand playfight. Forest has crystal blue eyes, Winter has saphire blue eyes, Redd has dark green eyes, Roselina has light green eyes, Sandy has emerald eyes, Artic has purple eyes, Raven has emerald eyes, Dusty has purple eyes, and River has saphire blue eyes.
Balto decided that the pups can leave the den. While the pups play around the entrance of the den, Balto heard a twig snap and told the pups to go back to the den. Next thing Balto knew it, he felt a sharp pain on his back and collapse. Then he tried to stand but he felt daze and he tragically died.
Balka heard the gun shot and went to the entrance of the cave and she too got shot by the hunters. Balka gave a sharp yelp and she became very weak. She collapse and her last breathes she said " I always love you pups and don't forget that. Always believe in yourself and I'm sorry" as she her last word came , Balka close her eyes and died.
