        I was born into a broken pack .Only a few had survived.Before I was born, a horrible storm corrupted my ancestors land.It took my families pack along with it, too.All that remained was my parents, my sisters,Jenki and Alwinn.My pack had seperated(those of us left)to look for survivors, and only Runa was found.When our pack stilled roamed our lands,Runa was one of the best hunters, but know he is blinded and changed.He seams more dark, and quiet.He stays by himself most of the time and rarely speeks inless he has to.Funny thing tho, he can hunt and see better than mom and dad.They think it's a gift from our gods pack,Tor the dark wolf.They belive she granted him with a power to see through his feet.He never once spoke of what had happened, and no one dared to ask.

Jenki

 My mom and dad left for hunting, and Runa is by the Lake.He sits there often, staring into the unknown, like he wantsa to be out there.Any way my brother(the bum) is sleeping and my sister,Alwinn, is chasing her own tail.Alwinn is the eldest of the cubs, and im the stupid puppy. They're not mean to me, but it stinks being the smallest.Tinntay or tay for short is the only male, and we pick on him alot.Dad yells at us tho.

"Just because Tay is the heir to the throne doesn't give you the right to be mean"

Dad always stands up for him.Tay (when dad passes on ) is the future leader to our pack the Lacuna Mwasi. Lacuna is Italian for forgotten and Mwasi is swahili for rebles.Thats our name the forgotten rebles.Hold on Mommy's back,is something wrong,Where's Runa going?Wait momm, where are you going, don't leave us!

 Alwinn

 It's been hours since Runa and Mother left, plus Jenki and Tay are hungry.Well Tay can watch Jen while i hunt.

"Tay , watch Jen while I find some food."

Oh, I hope they will be o.k.Who knows where mom and dad are, and Runa is not back yet.I hope they're alright. I hurried to the Lake ,first I need to get food for Tay and Jen, then I worry about my family. I finnaly got two kills, salmon for Tay and Jenki.Hey, it's a fox, ill just drop these and ......Ha a fox for me.

"I'm back you guys"

 "Allright food, im starving, thnaks sis!"

 "I'm gonna go for a little bit, if i'm not back by moonrise,just go to sleep, it will be o.k"

"O.k Alwinn, we love you"

 "I love you guys too"

Tinntay

It's been a day, and  Alwinn hasn't returned, and mom and dad aren't back either.I wonder where they are?Well, Jenki's hungry,so am I.I'll just go catch some fish, I can at least do that.Where is everybody?

Alwinn

It's been a day, and I haven't found mom or dad.I hope Tay and Jenki are alright.I'm worried that they are gonna starve or get eaten.Oh ,why do I worry so much.Tay's a Alpha male in Training, this is good for him!

Jenki

I miss Alwinn,but I know she's alright.Tay left me and I have nothing to do.Maybe I'll go to the sunny spot, or they snowy spot right now.Oh look, a rabbit, this may be my only chance to prove I'm not a puppy anymore and can hunt, like a grown wolf!

Tinntay 

Where did Jen go?The only place she would be is the snowy spot.Oh stupid me,I left with out telling her,I'll go find her now.

"Jenki, never run off like that ever"

"Yes,Tinntay.But look"

"Wow,Jenki!I'm soooo Proud of you!You made your first kill,Alwinn be so proud!!!"

Alwinn

This is my second night out and I'm picking up a scent.It smells like Runa.It is Runa!

"Oh Runa,I've been searching for two days but i found you, and thats all that matters!Where's mom and dad?"

"Alwinn,sweety,your mother and father died!"

Stunned, I sat down on my haunces,putting a paw on my nose to keep the tears back.

"What....How...Why?"

"Your mother and father were hunting, when your father spotted a deer over a patch of the lake.He knew that you were hungry and that it was his duty,and his stupiditity made him run across the water."

I sat with sorrow and listened to Runa.

"Your dad fell through the ice and your mother went after him.She managed to pull him out of the water,but her warmth couldn't keep him from freezing, so she went to get me.By the time we got back,he was dead."

Tears welled up in my eyes as i imagened my father,the Leader of our once great pack,Frozen to death on the ground.

"Do you want me to stop?"

"No,I need to know the truth, and I mite as well get it over with."

"Your mother refused to leave him, as I her.Little did we know, a  bear was near by, and saw us a snack.It tried to attack your parents but your mom and I stoped it.Unfortunatly,your mom was killed because it knoked me unconsiuos.I am sorry to say that I will also not make it.Alwinn,you are the new leader.You must find a pack,or breed into your own."

"Runa!No,you can't die,you can't"

"I am on death's list, I see him now, just know, your parents and I love you and our spirts will survive to help you thro your journey"

Runa

I watch as Alwinn walks away,tears falling from her gorgoes fur,Iwill not pass she leaves,I....will...not ....pas...
