When Kodi waved goodbye. He licked his human's face and instead he walked by his side walking home.

When he got home it was a big house. He explored it and when he entered the kitchen a delicious aroma filled the air. It was his owner's mother cooking bacon. He barked for a piece. The owner's mother gave him a piece and Kodi started biting it. After that he was sleepy so he jumped on the couch and fell asleep. He had a dream he was running and pulling a sled. When the story was about to end the owner touched kodi and gave Kodi a shock.

Kodi was still wondering what his strange dream was about he walked into the kitchen in front of his food bowl and ate his breakfast and moved on to his water bowl and drank half the water he was given. He started looking playful and tried to let his owner know that he wants to go out for a walk.

His owner got a lead and put it on kodi and took him out he tried to train Kodi to catch a frisbee kodi just let it go down and chewed on it. The owner was getting angry but he kept his anger down so he took kodi home and removed the lead and sat down to watch tv.

Kodi walked up to his owner and whimpered. His owner said "Stop that whining Kodi". Kodi was glad that his owner called him his real name.Kodi stopped and watched tv and went into the kitchen to see his foodbowl he thought "Nothing in my foodbowl again". He whimpered in the kitchen. His owner went to see what was going on and he saw kodi's foodbowl and gave him some food and water.

Kodi ate his food and licked his owners hand.He then drank some water and yawned.His owner laughed and settled up his bed. Kodi layed down and slowly closed his eyes. He woke up and jumped out of bed and walked towards the kitchen, Kodi ate his breakfast and drank some water and was ready to go out.

His owner took him out and threw the frisbee a couple of times and then, Kodi jumped and caught one of them and brought it to his owner. His owner said "Good boy" and gave him a treat. Kodi learned that if he catches the frisbee he gets a delicious treat. When His owner threw it again, Kodi leaped up into the air and caught it. His owner was impressed and gave Kodi two treats, it was almost 3:00 pm so His owner said "Time to go home Kodi".

When they got home, Kodi wanted to go to the toilet but he didn't have a box, so he went in a corner and went to the toilet there. His owner was so mad and said "Bad boy!". He put the small pup outside and she locked the gate. She said "You stay outside". Kodi barked all night, the neighbours shouted at him saying "Keep it down there!". Kodi stopped and a tear came down his face.

Next morning came and Kodi's owner got out of his bed and dressed. Combing his nice brown hair. Drinking some coffee, he went outside and found Kodi sleeping in the garden. She nudged him to wake Kodi up for breakfast and said "Kodi, breakfast". Kodi yawned and began to walk in the house, finally getting in he ran towards his bowl. He ate his food and licked his face. His owner petted him on the head and said " You are a good boy".

he got a lead and made a sign  to go out. Kodi obeyed her and the girl put the lead around him and started walking towards the park. Kodi saw his father Balto walking around the streets and began pulling to him. His owner let Kodi go to Balto.

"Hi Dad" Kodi said as he wagged his tail. Balto said "Hi Kodi, how's you new home?". Kodi said "It's fine", Kodi then looked toward the park and turned towards his father " See you later dad I'm going to the park". He ran towards his owner and followed her to the park. Balto smiled as Kodi walked away and the wind blew against his fur. He turned around and began to walk home.

Kodi continued padding towards the park, finally getting there his owner got the frisbee and threw it. Kodi leaped into the air and bumped into another pup and said " Oops, sorry" The pup said "Hello there I'm dusty what's yours?". Dusty was with her owner too. "Mine's Kodi". He turned around to see his owner and said "See you later" before running to his owner. Dusty walked away. Kodi felt the wind blowing against his fur and saw it was going to snow because it was winter at that time.

His owner put a lead on Kodi and began to walk home while saying " I can't let you out tonight because it's going to snow". Kodi was glad when he said this then he waited for his owner to speak again "You've got your box in the kitchen". Kodi though "finally I can go to the toilet".  When they got home his owner removed the lead and he went into his room. Kodi looked at the stairs then went to the kitchen. Kodi went to the toilet and digged it. After that, Kodi whimpered he wanted the tv on.

His owner came down and put on the tv. Kodi watched the tv and waited for a good show to come on. It was about wolves he watched it and learnt what wolves were like. "Cool" he said. He then went to bed and yawned, curling up into a tight ball as soon as the snow started to fall.

When mroning arived, it was snowing again. Kodi jumped out of the door since his owner left to get some things and said " It's snowing", Kodi was 3 months at that time. He was getting bigger. He went on the streets and found his mother and father and ran up to them " His Dad, Hi mom". He wagged his tail as his father said "Hi son, jolly day today right?". Jenna smiled and wagged her tail. "Yeah, it's a jolly day" said Kodi.

Kodi remembered he had to go home and ran away. When he got home, his owner was talking with a musher and said "Yeah, kodi may join your team whe he is 7 months". The musher replied " Ok, I'll keep him on the list, he is with other dogs, next to him is kirby and behind him is Dusty and next to Dusty is Ralph". The musher walked out.

Kodi thought "Dusty? I know her". Kodi was very hungry since he didn't eat yet and went to eat. Kodi then began to drink. he went to sleep and yawned. Kodi woke up with the sun in his eyes. He yawned and got up. He smelled Bacon. He ran into the kitchen and barked for some. He got some and carried some out. He saw his mother and father. He ate one, he had two pieces left. Kodi gave it to them. Balto said "Thanks son". Jenna said the same thing. Kodi and other dogs chatted for a while. Dusty saw Kodi and began to play. Ralph another dog walked up to them and said "Hi, I'm ralph". Kodi said "I'm Kodi and she's Dusty". Kirby, another dog cam up and said "Hi everyone what are your name?". Kirby said "I'm kirby". The thredd pups told their names and became best friends. Each pup went home and went to sleep. Dreaming about the mail team when they become big.

4 months later..

Kodi was 7 months old and was old enough to go on a team he met the other dogs. He had to be trained at first, he passed the training and was ready to go to work. His first few weeks were quite hard because he got lost a little but he memorized it and they finally delivered mail properly. He was proud of his new job, he liked it very much.

He made friends with a lot of dogs and most especially his team. Kodi grew big into a 1 year old dog, pup at heart really but he focused on his work and began to deliver the mail faster. He continued working as a mail dog.
