Kodi was a red and cream wolf/dog. His father, Balto and his mother Jenna wre glad to have him even though he was the runt of the litter. Right know he was running as the lead dog on the mail team. Ralph and Kirby got sent to White Mountian so know Kodi is rivals with them. When Kodi's team got there they all went home except for Kodi and Dusty.

"So were are you heading Kodi?" asked Dusty.

"See dad I guess, you know how he is with me when he doesn't get the news on how we got the mail here, were you going?" asked Kodi.

"I don't know, not home thats for sure," said Dusty.

''Why not?" asked Kodi.

"There have been tones of boxes and the funiture have been disapering and humans are comeing in the house takeing the boxes away, and they also yell at me when I get in the way," explained Dusty.

"You should stay with dad until everything gets cleared up," said Kodi starting to walk towards his dads boat with Dusty fallowing.

"You sure it will be ok?'' asked Dusty.

"Ya what are boy friends, i mean best friends for?'' asked Kodi blushing.

"Wait isn't your father vistiting Alue with Hayter?" asked Dusty.

"Ohya, maybe you could stay with me i mean at my house," blushed Kodi again.

"That would be great!" smiled Dusty, "Race ya!"

They ran and they ran all the way to Kodi's house, but all of a sudden Dusty stopped right in the middle of his drive way and Kodi trampled over her.

"Dusty whats up?" asked Kodi. Kodi looked up and saw a black and white husky walking towards Dusty.

"What are you doing here?" growled Dusty.

"I can't visit my own daugheter, Dustera?" asked the husky.

"No, no you can't," Dusty growled again.

"Cannot, don't you know your words," said the husky.

 "Maybe so maybe no, come on Kodi," growled Dusty.

"Don't tell me you are not goign out with that....that WOLF!" laughed Sissy.

"I am so shut up mother!" growled Dusty running inside the shed.

Kodi ran after her, but did not talk since he had learned the hard way not to talk to a furious Dusty or she might, more like will attack you. he layed up next to Dusty and fell asleep.

The next morning Kodi woke up with Dusty looking at nothing but out the window. He knew that if he asked her she might steam back up, but then agian they were friends so he had now stuuf.

"That was your mum?" asked Kodi sitting up.

"Uhh? What?" asked Dusty.

"That black and white dog that had blue eyes?" asked Kodi, "Wuz that your mum?"

Dusty just looked at her feet for a little bit and then slowly said," Ya, but I am very ashamed to have her as my mother."

"Why is that?" asked Kodi.

Dusty shuffled a bit, clearly looking uncomfertable talking to Kodi about this, but he wanted to now stuff about his best friend.

"She well kicked my father out of the town I use to live with and then I ran off about a day later looking for him but never found anything, so I came here! As far away from that lady as possible!"

"I get that, but there as to be more than that! That may make you upset and make you run off, but what else?" asked Kodi.

"Steele is my uncle and my mother hates wolves, and i just loved how they ran gracefully acroos the land, just like you, and I had to run away," sighed Dusty.

"Who would care that you are related to Steele? You are SO much different than him," smiled Kodi.

"Ya like how!" said Dusty, half yelling.

"One, you are kind, two, your not a sore loser, three your hot, four......"

"Wait what was the last one?'' asked Dusty looking happy.

"three,your ho......" Kodi stopped not knowing what he was thinking or saying.

Kodi blushed and Dusty walked up to him and kissed him and than they started to fall MADLY in love!!

 FOUR MONTHS LATER.....

Kodi walked happily down the beach waiting for Dusty when he had heard Kirby walking up to him.

"KODI KODI!!!!" yelled Kirby out of breath.

"What kirby I......"

"Dusty's haveing her pups!!!!"

"Wha!" yelled Kodi shooting past Kirby almost knocking him down.

"DUSTY!!!" Kodi sayed Half screamed when he saw Dusty resting her head.

"Shhh Kodi and it's alright they're healthy and alive, me too," smiled Dusty.

Kodi looked at the Pups and saw three puppies.

"Can we name the first one Donatello? After my father, he looks like him," said Dusty.

"Ya," said Kodi looking at the only male pup. He was brown with light cream  markings and blue eyes.

Next was a girl and she was purple/grey and light grey just like her mother with his marking and had brown eyes. "Let's name her Dream,"

"Perfecto, she looks like a dreamer that a boy will go after!" smiled Dusty with some laughter.

"Then I will be watching as close as possible," said Kodi in a father like tone.

The next one was an oddball. She was light brown with a light grey bottom and green eyes with red markings.

"Destiny," smiled Dusty, but then she frowned.

"Dusty? whats wrong?" asked Kodi.

"Destiny, instead of whining she has been howling,i'm worried, what if she's like a wolf?" asked Dusty.

"Then she could live with Alue," smiled Kodi, but when he saw that her frown didnt go away he asked, " and what else?"

"Mother and uncle steele, they might try to take them." said Dusty with tears comeing out.

"Dusty! As long as I am alive then no one can get to them. Everone who is friends with us will try to protect them with thier hearts!" said Kodi.

"Your right! We have GREAT Friends!" laughed dusty.
