"Kodi!Kodi!" two dogs yelled from outside the ship.

kodi walks out, it was aleu and kiona ..."WHAT!!!" he yells.

"Dusty! Dusty!"they both said.

kodi looked at them curiously"what about dusty?"

"Duuuusssttttyyyyyyy!!!!Come on!"the said smartly.

The rushed off with kodi running behind them. What kind of game are they up to now? Kodi thought.When they arrived at Dusty's the stopped to let kodi go in first. he stared at them for a second.he walked in....

"Kodi!" Dusty said happily.

Kodi walked over to her bed and spotted three pups.kodi smiled and nuzzled dusty.

kiona and aleu ran off to get balto and jenna.when the four returned, they all came in to see the pups.

There were two boys and one girl.

"soooo..... what are you going to name them?" asked kiona.

Kodi shrugged and then tuned aleu out.kodi spent that night with dusty.

The next day.......

when aleu came over she asked the same question again, this time they had an answer. The grey and white boy with some red was Hunter, the grey and white boy with red around one eye was aaron, and the grey and white girl  with the red tip tail was Jackie.

when the pups were able to run around and play, they took them to the boat so they could play in the water. balto watched the pups play and noticed that the two boys wouldnt play with jackie. she was more like a loner. this upset balto so he told kodi.

"your two boys wont play with jackie." balto told him.

"thats weird..." kodi said curiously.

"shes kind of like a loner" said balto.

"maybe she is. she doesnt seem to be upset about it." kodi said.

they both shrugged. kodi walked over to dusty while aleu played with the pups and taught them about wolves.

"looks like jackie's going to be a loner"kodi told dusty

dusty shrugged "I_I dont know"

it seemed strange that neither of them cared, but maybe she was a loner. you'll have to read the next story to find out if she turns out to be one.
