Aniu yawned as she woke up by her sisters side. The sun rose outside the den making her lazy pack members fur shine. She shook her head and looked around. But she raised her eyebrow to see her father missing from the wolves. She pulled herself to her paws and shook her white fur. Then she tip toed out the den careful not to step on anyones tail.

Finally she emerged from the den. She squinted as the sun caught her eyes. Soon she was fine to look around at the beauty around her. The den sat on a hill over looking the ocean.The were the first of the wolf packs to see the sun rise. She breathed in the Arctic air before padding down the hill.

She found the small stream leading to the ocean. The northern glaciers had been melting in the summer sun making this freash water stream. She licked up some water before noticing something glinting up on the hill. She lifted her head to look at it as water dripped down her muzzle. Her smile crept across her face as she began running back up the hill.

As she came closer to the glinting white object a voice was heard by her ears. "Aniu, my daughter, you are up before the sun rises."Her father, Chinook, said as he stared at the sun. She sat down beside him as she smiled. Her father always knew what she was thinking or doing. "Please don't embaress me,"he smiled at her. She giggled as she tried to clear her mind. "You always knew what I was going to say,"she giggled.

"Of course,"he said, "your my daughter. But it seems you have questions?"

"Well," Aniu said quitely,"I do. Will I become the next alpha?"

"Yes,"he said,"it is your responsiblity as a part of our family."

"But father,"she said,"what if I'm not ready when you are?"

"You will be,"he said still looking at the sun,"I can feel it."

"But father Alpha's have to be able to know the future like you do,"she said,"I only know when someone wants to pounce on me."

"Well,"he said looking at her,"thats a start."She smiled as she nuzzled her father."Hold on,"her father said turning stern as he turned to look behind them.

Galileo, Aniu's younger brother,was running up to them. "Father!"he said,"humans are invading our territory." Chinook ran past him saying," I know." Together Aniu and Galileo followed their father.

By the time they had caught up, their father was already talking to the warrior wolves."Dad!"Galileo said running up to his father,"I'm coming too!"he said pumping up his chest.

"No son,"he said bluntly as the warrior wolves nuzzled their mates.

"But Dad!"Galileo said,"I can do it! I can beat those humans up good!"

"I told you Galileo,"Chinook said nuzzling their mother,"you will stay here until I think your ready."

"But..."Galileo started to said but stopped when Chinook gave him a grim look. Galileo's ears went down and his tail went between his legs. "Don't disobey me son,"Chinook said. He nodded his head in the direction of the woods and started to run as the others followed. "Too bad Galileo. Maybe next time," Aniu said walking up to her brother.

"Shut up!"he growled."Dad always favored you."

"Galileo,"Aniu started to say. She was only trying to help. "He'd probley let you go if you wanted to as much as I do,"he snarled.

"Well I'm much older than you! Besides you should'nt be talking to me that way!"she yelled at him. 

"So?"he yelled,"I wish you wer'nt my sister because you know why? I'd be the next alpha and I'd get to do and go anywhere I want to go!" Aniu was about to scream something back when their mother stepped. "Thats enough you two!"she growled. Galileo grunted and ran off down the hill to the beach. Aniu looked back to her mother. "Don't tamper with him Aniu,"she said walking away.

Aniu looked back to the beach to see her brothers shadow had disspeared. Not wanting him to get hurt she set out to find him. Running down the hill she slid into the cool sand.

She padded down the shore careful not to get wet by the small waves. "Galileo?"she asked the empty beach. No answer was heard as she stopped. Her ears straightned as she looked around alertly. Something was going to happen.

Suddenly she ducked low to the ground as another creature flew over top of her hitting the sand with a loud bang. Right away Aniu got into attack mode ready for anything...except the eyes that met hers.

It seemed to be a boy wolf with brilliant blue and brown eyes. But wait her had a tail that curled upwards. Anyway she had never seen a wolf with a curly tail and one blue eye and one brown eye. She cocked her head at him. He did the same as he watched her closley.

They stood there as the water sparkled with the sun beside them. It felt like the time had gone so fast because as soon as Aniu came back to her senses the sun was halfway across the sky. The animal shook his head to also get back to his senses. "Your a..."he started to say.

"Yes I'm a wolf. Now what are you?"she asked cuorisly.

"Why I'm a husky,"he said straightning into a pose showing off his slender husky body,"the fastest there is."

"Oh,"Aniu said giggling as she had never giggled before. She didn't even remember that dogs and wolves were pure enimies because of humans. "I'm Aniu by the way,"she smiled at him.

"Aniu,"he said thinking about it,"I like that name. My names Jones. "She giggled again like she could'nt control them. He laughed and smiled at her. "So uh you live around here?"Jones asked.

"Yes I do.Right over there.We are the first wolf pack to see the sun,"she said proudly."Where is your pack?"

"My pack? I don't have one,"he said.

"Oh are you a loner?"she asked him sadly.

"Well I uh,"he started to say.

"You can join my pack,"she said quickly.

"Oh I uh,"he started to say.

"Come on!"she said grabbing his paw and pulling him up the beach. "I want everyone to see how nice you are. Uh its so hard to find a nice wolf around here you know?" 

"Uh I,"he started to say again.

"I mean ya they all want to alpha but you want a good looking guy who's nice,good with kids and thinks your the best thing in the world ya know?"she said quickly.

"Well ya but,"he said.

"We're here!"she interupted. They had indeed climbed the hill and were now looking at the den. The pups were jumping around and it seemed Galileo had come back because he was sitting with the pups a very bored expression on his face. Aniu giggled at this as he looked up to see them. "Whos he?"one of the pups asked running over to them. Soon a whole crowd of pups were sitting around them. "His name is Jones,"Aniu told then.

"Where'd he come from?"one asked.

"From around here,"she told them.

"Are you gonna marry him?"a girl pup asked.

"Oh!"Aniu said blushing. They sat in silence as Aniu thought of something to say. "Come on guys we just met,"Jones said laughing. The pups whispered for a while then..."Attack!" They all screamed with laughter as they bounced on top of him. He laughed and rolled over as Aniu giggled and walked out the way to watch them. "Now watch it there!"he laughed as they pulled on his ear. One of her friends walked up to her,"Oh Aniu!He's so charming!"In her mind Aniu checked off a list. He had good looks,he was great with kids now all he needed was to show her how much she meaned to him.

That afternoon the pack was still waiting for the warrior wolves to come home. Aniu was sitting on the hill watching the forest as the sun was disspearing over the other side of it. She looked over to see Jones was walking up to her. "Hi Jones,"she said sadly."I thought you were with the pups?"

"They're going to sleep,"he said."What are you doing out here?"he asked her sitting down.

"My father,"she said keeping her eyes on the forest. He looked at his paws. "I'm sure he's fine,"he said.

"I know,"she said,"I just get worried." She looked at the ground sadly.

Suddenly a barking was heard. She looked up and saw a white blur and other brown and grey shadows following it."Their home!"she yelled and jumped past Jones. The other wolves came out of the den to see what was going on. Then they too started running towards the wolves.

Aniu reached them first. "Dad!"she cried nuzzling her father.

"I'm fine,"he whispered.

"But dad,"she said looking at him."You have cuts and bruises."

"Yes they gave us a beating,"he said.

"Did you retreat dad?"she asked him as the mates around her reunited.

"Of course we did. I don't want anyone hurt,"he said. Aniu's mother,Sheen,came over and nuzzled Chinook. Aniu slowly breathed a sigh of relief. They were safe from the two leggeds...for now.

Suddenly her father growled and ran past her. Aniu lifted her head and turned to see him growling at Jones. "Dad!"Aniu yelled running towards the two growling males. Jones's fur was standing on end as he snraled at Chinook. "Dad,"Aniu said stopping beside her growling father,"Its okay he's a friend.His name is Jones." Chinook kept staring at him, Jones doing the same back.

Finally Chinook straightned up and glared at Jones. He looked at Aniu, grunted then walked towards the den. The rest of the wolves followed glaring at Jones as he was now staring at them. Aniu's mother looked at Aniu as she stood outside the den. Aniu nodded telling her mother by her actions that she'd be fine. Her mother nodded and walked into the den. Galileo was the last in the den as the pups kept running away from him. As soon as everyone was gone Aniu walked up to Jones.

"Sorry. My dad can be such a pain sometimes,"she said smilind and rolling her eyes.

"Ya,"he said glaring at the den."He's some kinda work."

"Well I guess the den is a no no for sleeping tonight,"she said.

"I got a place we could...I mean I could sleep,"he said blushing.

"Oh really?"she said raising her eyebrow and smiling.

"Uh ya,"he said blushing."This way."He turned and began walking towards the beach. They slid down the hill and on to the soft sand. He then began walking down the beach towards the dying sun. They kept walking as Aniu stared at him.

Finally they turned a corner and he stopped. Then he turned towards the hill but they couldn't climb it because it was too steep. Then Aniu noticed a small hole in the side of the hill big enough for a wolf to fit in. He stood back and waved his paw towards the entrance. "Ladies first,"he said smiling. He giggled and smiled at him as she squeezed inside.

It was quite tight as she traveled through the zigzagged tunnel. Her nice white coat began to turn brown as the dirt rubbed on to her body. Soon she found herself in a much bigger cave like area. She could lift her head up and walk around normaly as she looked around. It was dark and damp except for the light through the hole she had just come. Soon the light was gone and Jones appeared. "Jones is that you?"she asked squinting to see through the darkness.

"Yes its me Aniu. Don't be scared I'm here,"he said. Then she felt his fur rub against hers. She backed away. "Jones aren't you taking this a little too fast?"she said. What was she saying? She loved him since she first saw him. "I'm sorry,"he said quickly as he too backed away. "I wasn't thinking.I'm sorry Aniu."

They stood there in the darkness for some time before Aniu sighed. She walked towards him (or what she thought was him). She then felt his soft fur and beating chest and she knew she was right. She nuzzled his chest. He moved away from her. "Aniu are you sure? I'm not forcing you to...love me,"he said to her through the darkness.

"No,"she whispered nuzzling him again,"I do love you." She felt him nuzzle her back and they stood there nuzzling and kissing each other. Aniu knew her father would disaprove of this but she didn't care. Besides this could do no long term damage.

That night they sat there nuzzling and kissing each other. Aniu had never felt so happy as the two teen's sat there together in the darkness. Then she slept beside him in the dark damp cave for the rest of the night.

The morning came quickly as she awoke in the cave. He smiled as her drowsy eyes fluttered open. She looked over to see Jones was gone. "Jones?"she asked franticlly."Jones?" She quickly zigzagged her way out the hole and into the bright sun light.

She jumped around looking everywhere. Did he leave her already? "Jones!?"she yelled.

"What?" Jones asked as he came from around the corner. She ran over to him and and kissed him and nuzzled him. "Woah whats wrong?"he asked her.

"Oh I just love you,"she said as she kissed him again.

"Well if your done with the kissing,"he laughed,"we've got to eat."

"Oh come on,"she said walking down the beach,"the hunters have probabley brought back a caribou or two." Together they walked down the beach the sun rising over the water. She looked out at the ocean."Don't you ever wonder,"she asked him still walking.

"Wonder what?"he asked.

"What its like beyond here?"she asked nodding her head towards the rising sun.

"Nope not for me,"he said,"I'm fine right where I am."She smiled at him and looked back out at the ocean as she sighed.

Soon they reached the hill. They walked up it to see the den and the other wolves walking around. They looked at it for a few minutes. Suddenly someone was calling her name. She turned to see Galileo walking towards her. "Where have you been?"he growled.

"What do you care?"she asked him.

"You were supposed to look after the pups last night,"he snarled.

"So? Its not that hard for you,"she said.

"Well mom was worried. I'm gonna go tell her. Your gonna get Aniu, your gonna get it good,"he said running towards the den. Aniu growled to herself and started walking towards the den. How was she gonna tell dad about her little nuzzle game with Jones?

Suddenly she stopped dead. Her eyes widened, her claws came out, and her fur stood on end. Before her eyes was a picture with faded edges. It was a picture of the pack coming back with two caribou. She shook her head and came back to her senses. Her claws returned to her paws, her eyes closed and her fur flattened out. "Whoah,"she whispered.

"Aniu!"Jones yelled running towards her,"you okay?"He nuzzled her as sweat pored down her head. "Ya,"she said breathing heavily,"ya I'm fine."

Her ears perked up to hear howling and barking. She gasped when she saw the exact same picture of the pack pulling back the caribou. She shook her head again and breathed slowly. Nothing was wrong... she was just doing...weird stuff. Ya! Thats it! Its happens to everyone...right?

That evening Aniu was on the hill nuzzling with Jones. She had stayed clear of her father the whole day by staying with Jones. But she had more fun than she thought she would with him. He really did love her! She smiled as they nuzzled their tummies full of caribou meat. Luckily she had gotten some time to steal a bit of meat for them since the pack wouldn't allow Jones to eat with them.

She looked at him and into his eyes. Then she heard a voice in head. 'I wonder if she really does like me?'the voice said.

"What did you say Jones?"she asked him.

"What?"he asked,"I didn't say anything."

"Didn't you just say...uh never mind,"she said looking away. Then the voice came again.'Uh I really wanna go the next level with her,'the voice said. She smiled when she heard those words. So he did feel the same way as her! But she knew she was the one who had to say it. "Jones,"she said looking at him. 

'Is this it?'the voice asked.

"I have to tell you something,"she said.

'Please be you love me, please be you love me,' 

"Its just,"she said.

'Take it easy Jones. Let her do it,'

"I want to go the next level,"she said smiling.

'YA HOOO!!!!'

"Aniu thats wonderful!"he said jumping around her.

"I realized that we belong together,"she said nuzzling him. He nuzzled her back as they walked down the hill and on to the beach. The moon shone over the glittering waves as they stared at each other. Soon they found themselves outside their new 'den'. She squeezed in first and found herself in the dark damp area again. This time it felt like...home. Jones ended up next to her as they nuzzled her. That night they mated for the first time in both their lives.

For the next few weeks the new couple spent every moment with each other. Never had their eyes left each others. Her father still did not approve but let them be. Aniu had not told anyone in her pack that she had mated with Jones who was a dog. But what did she care that he was a dog or what her family thought? Her heart told her that they belonged together.

Then one day she felt kicking in her tummy."Jones!"she cried."Your going to be a father!"

"A father!"he cried with joy as they nuzzled together in the den. That night they kept their paws on her tummy feeling their pups sqirm and move inside her.

The day after that they were walking together through the forest. They laughed together as he tried to flirt with her. "Silly you've already won my heart,"she giggled nuzzling him.

"But I don't wanna loose ya,"he laughed nuzzling her back. Suddenly a loud bang was heard. Aniu ducked as the sound flew over her head. But she screamed as she saw Jones fall to the ground. "Jones!"she cried putting her paw on his wound. He was breathing heavily as her tears dropped on to his fur."A...n...niu. I want y...you to know I...love you,"he said breathing heavily.

"No Jones don't talk like that,"she cried."Your gonna be okay!"Her ears perked to hear the sounds of crackiling leaves. It was footsteps and they were coming closer. "Aniu...g...go! He'll...get...you...too,"he said.

"No I'm not leaving you,"she cried.

"Aniu listen...to me. We'll see each other...in heaven,"he said to her.

"But I can't just leave you,"she said.

"Aniu! You've got to take care....oh the pups,"he said. Aniu looked at his eyes. They had a pleading look in them.She knew she had to look after their pups and the pack. She cried as they nuzzled and licked each other for the last time. Then with tears and blood staining her white fur she ran away from him not looking back.

She ran down the beach as the sun was covered by clouds. Soon the rain poured down as she ran up the hill and towards the den. "Aniu?"her mother asked as she ran in the den. Aniu noticed it was only her mother and herself in the den. "Where is everyone?"she asked shaking her fur.

"Thats the thing hunny,"her mother said.

"Whats wrong mom?"Aniu asked sniffing back her tears.

"Your father. Your father is...dead,"she said. Anius whole world was gone at the moment she cried as hard as she had never cried before. She lay down and cried as her mother backed out the den to leave her alone. Aniu cuddeled close to her stomach whispering,"I'll take care of you."

The next morning Aniu awoke to her first morning as the alpha. She shook her fur and looked around at her pack. They were sleeping with frowns on their faces. They loved her father as much as she did so they too felt like their worlds were torn apart. She trotted over to her mother and tapped her on the head with her paw. Her mother shook her head as she woke up. She looked at her daughter as Aniu moved her head motioning for her mother to follow her outside.

Once outside Aniu turned to look at her mother."Mother as you know I'm now alpha,"her mother nodded to this,"so it is my responsibility to take care of the pack no matter what. I have decided that we will leave here, today." Her mother gasped and looked at her daughter."But Aniu our clan has been here for generations. We can't leave."

"But mother the two leggeds are moving in on our territory. We can not fight them any longer. I suggest moving further northward away from the two leggeds packs,"she said bravely. Her mother opened her mouth to argue back but stopped."Thank you mother,"Aniu said,"can you please wake the pack. I must tell them the news."Her mother nodded and walked away. Aniu looked at the sun whispering,"I miss you both."

Soon the whole pack was waiting and chatting outside the den. Aniu made her way to the top of a medium rock to see all the wolves. They stopped as she sat down on the rock. "My fellow pack members. As you all know my father has apointed me as the new alpha if he had ever come to harm. I have chosen to do something that many of you may not agree with but I believe it is best for the clan,"she shouted. They listened to her closely. "I believe we should move northward,"she said. Grumbling was heard when she said 'move'. "We can't move!"a wolf yelled,"Our ansestors were here!"

"Yes I know that but the twoleggeds are moving south into out territory. I have never seen so many in one place. This pack of two leggeds are too strong for our pack and they are reproducing quickly,"she said.

"So what you just want us to give up and leave?"another wolf yelled as the others agreed.

"Listen,"she growled jumping down into the crowd,"soon they'll be here. You'll wake up to see one in the den! Our pups will be killed as will we ourselves for fur and meat. Soon we will have no wolves here and our clans history will be dimished." They all thought as she glared at them.

Suddenly her mother walked up beside her. "I agree,"she said. The others chatted with each other. Soon they all nodded sadly knowing they'd rather keep their lives then their lands. "Then let us depart now,"she said walking towards the forest. They all looked back at the den and the ocean once more before following. "Mum!"Aniu called to her mother."Lead them northward. I've got to go get the slackers."

 With that she ran back to see mothers and pups still at the den. The mother was trying to pick all three up together but couldn't. "Galileo!"Aniu yelled for her brother. He ran up to her asking her what she needed. "Pick a pup my man. Your carrying one,"Aniu said picking up a brown one in her mouth. Galileo grunted but did as he was told. He picked up the gray one and the the three wolves and the three pups ran to keep up with the rest of the pack.

Soon they were half way to where Aniu thought would be a great place for the clan to settle down. She had taken her mothers place and the lead of the pack and they had found other fae's to help carry the pups. Her mother was bringing up the back and happily they had had no problems since they left their home. Aniu turned to see the pack yawning and walking slower. The sun had indeed moved across the sky very quickly and it would soon be night, too dark for the pack to continue walking. Aniu looked around the flat territory they had entered. There seemed to be no place of shelter except for the forest ahead. She knew they could rest there, it was only a bit further.

Galileo ran up beside his sister breathing heavily from running. "The pack is getting tired Aniu,"he told her.

"I know,"she said staring at the forest.

"Shouldn't we stop to rest?"he asked.

"No,"she said bluntly,"too many two legged packs here. We must get to that forest."She nodded towards the dark forest that was getting closer. Galileo nodded and was about to run back to the pack but Aniu said,"Galileo. I need to talk to you."

"About what?"he asked as he continued walking with her.

"Well I need an advisor and dads advisor,Luna, dislikes me too much to work for me,"she said.

"What are you asking sis?"he asked excitedly.

"Well I want you to be my new advisor Galileo. You wanted to be the alpha so I guess this is second in line to that,"she smiled and winked at him. He smiled at her estatic about his new position in the pack. "You mean I don't have to look after the pups? And I can come with you on fights with the two leggeds?"he asked excitedly. She nodded and her jumped for joy."Thank you Aniu! I promise I won't let you down!"He returned to his place behind her whispering to himself about what he would tell his friends. She smiled and rolled her eyes to herself as they continued walking. 

Later she realized they were in the forest she had seen. It was dark and had plenty of space. She sniffed the trees looking for scents of other wolves but found none. Happily she trotted up to her tired pack. "Good news!" she said,"we have found a new home!" They looked around for a miniute or two then walked off to find a suitable den. She watched them pass her, tired and angery.

Soon enough a young grey wolf called out that they'd found an old fox den. So the male wolves began digging it out to make it bigger while the fae's kept watch over the pups. "Mamma,"a pup said to his mother," I'm hungry."

"Yes,"the fae said to Aniu,"we're all starving!"

"Well we've just got here. Once the males dig out a den we can..."

"No I want to eat now!"the fae growled.

"Stand down!"Aniu snarled as her height towered over the skinny fae. She slunk away growling to herself. Aniu galred at her then glared at the others who were staring at her. "You all have something to say?"she snarled. They went back to work and busied themselves with somthing.

Aniu had never felt so powerful before. They all did as she told them. She was their life line...their only hope. She looked at a small puddle of melting snow under an evergreen tree. She gasped as she saw her eyes had narrowed. But why she thought to herself. Her eyes used to be so large and round before her father died. Then she remebered her father had narrow eyes unlike any wolf she had ever seen. Was it magic she thought as she touched her muzzle with her large paw."Sis!"she was startled by a voice. It was Galileo walking up behind her. "Sis you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost,"he said in a concered tone.

"No,"Aniu said breathing heavily,"No I'm fine. Is there something wrong?"

"Well no,"Galileo said,"The males have finished digging the den. Their waiting for further instructions."

"Okay,"Aniu said breathing slowly now,"Tell the hunters to go out and find a caribou or two."He nodded and sprinted away towards the males. Aniu watched him telling them the news and then they all nodded and ran off to find food.

The pack had soon settled into their new home. A few months later Aniu was in the den. She was breathing heavily as he mother licked her head. She was in labour. She cried as she felt the pain inside her body. "Make it stop," she cried out. Her mother was close to tears as she saw her daughter go through so much pain. She still didn't know what had happened to Jones and she didn't even know who her mate was. "Calm down,"Sheen said licking her head.

Finally the first pup arrived. It was a grey one with white around its paws and patches around its eyes. "Oh I'll name him Alaska in honour to our home,"Aniu said between gasps. The pup squirmed towards her stomach squeeling for food.

Next a small white pup came. She had black at her paws,the tips of her ears and the tip of her tail. The rest of her was pure white just like her mother. "I'll name her Nimbus,"Aniu said. Sheen pushed the small crying pup to Aniu's belly.

Soon after a cream pup came. She was all cream except for her grey ears and white belly. Her paws were also a greyish color. She was a mix of her father and her mother. "I'll call her Viera,"Aniu said as Sheen pushed the pup towards Aniu's stomach.

At last the fourth pup came. He was brown with darker brown ears and cream colored paws,belly and muzzle. "Why he looks just like a dog,"her mother said looking at the crying pup."Aniu. You didn't!"

"Mother!"Aniu said pushing the pup to her belly,"I loved him and I didn't care what kind of animal he was."Her mother growled and walked out the den. Aniu snarled at her as she left but turned her attention to the smallest brown pup. She licked his head as she whispered,"I'll name you Jones after your father."She galred at the den entrance again,"no matter what type of animal he was."She looked back at the pup,"he was a great canine and my best friend. I'll never forget him as long as I have you all with me."

One month later the pups grew so big that they could walk. Alaska, Nimbus, Viera and Jones Jr got along together very well. They wrestled and played tag and hide and seek. On the other hand Aniu was exausted each day. She had not left the den since she had them and really need food and water since the pack left her alone to take care of the pups. They wanted to give her privacy but all she wanted was company.

One morning she awoke before the pups did. She yawned as the pups stirred at her stomach. Quickly and quitely she pulled herself to her wobbling paws and exited the den for the first time in a month.

The sunlight hit her eyes as she squinted. She breathed in the freash air. Then she padded down to a small stream for a quick drink. She gulped it down and said,"ahhhh!" But as she looked down she saw a shadow behind her. She turned to see two shadows now creeping around the den. Now she was a fair distance from the den so they couldn't see her very well or not well enough to attack her. 

She creeped towards them and gasped as she saw them enter the den. The pups! She dashed towards the den and squeezed inside. Then she looked wide eyed at two twoleggeds picking up the pups! She barked and growled as they turned around. "Look Frank! Its one of em narrow eyed wolves!"one two legged said.

"Ya so it is,"the other said,"she'd be a bute to take back to Washington eh?"The other nodded and together they creeped towards her as she snarled at them. In the process the two legged dropped the bag letting the pups tumble out. "Alaska, Nimbus, Viera ,Jones get out of here now!"she growled at them as she backed away leaving a clear exit for the pups. They did as they were told and scattered out the den. One two legged noticed this and took of after them. But Aniu was too fast it'd not even left the den before she had pounced on it. It howled in pain as she made a large gash in its left arm.

Then before the other could catch her she too dashed out the den's exit. She squirmed her way through and took off in the other direction of the pups. She had smelt their scent and knew the two leggeds would come after her. She ran until she was trapped on a large ridge. Under her was a rocky landscape a two leggeds dens in the distance. Her ears perked up to the sound of the two leggeds coming. She prayed as she jumped off the cliff.

Her life flashed before her eyes. She was a happy pup, a playfull kid, a lonley teen and a greatfull adult. Then she saw Jones in the distance calling for her to run towards the light. She began to but looked bellow her spirit paws. She say she bleeding body. Around it was Jones Jr. She gasped as she saw the two leggeds had spotted him. With that she jumped away from the light and back into her body.

The two leggeds had just reached them when she jumped back to life,picked up Jones and ran between their two legs. She had never run so fast in her life as Jones Jr cried in her jaws. She skidded to a hault at the end of the forest. She looked both ways. One way the ocean and a broken boat the other way the two leggeds dens. She made up her mind and jumped towards the boat.

Pulling herself on top she slipped around on the snowy wood. She finally forund a warm spot. She lay the crying Jones on a small blanket, wrapping him up like a Christmas present. Then she licked his tiny head and cried as she said her final farewells to her wolf-dog son. "Please heaven let someone look over my pups including him,"she cried to the sky as she nuzzled the pup.

Then, tears streaming down her face, she depatarted and left him crying. She jumped off the boat and ran towards the ocean. She ran into the cold waters and hwoled to the sky,"Jones! Please I want to stay with you now! The pups are safe and Galileo can look after the pack but I need to be with you!"

Suddenly the sky lit up and she looked up to see Jones looking down on her. "Please,"she whispered as she cried. Then as she closed her eyes she had a weird feeling. When she opened them Jones was standing next to her. "Jones!"she cried as she nuzzled him.

"You've made me proud Aniu,"he said smiling at her.

"Yes,"Aniu said looking down at the boat. She saw a white goose had flown down on the boat and was now hugging the pup."Yes everythings perfect."

Look I know its ended in a weird way buy hey I'm weird! lol Hope you enjoyed it and I know it didn't stay true to my Balto as a pup story but whatever. lol
