"Midnight,your sitting on my tail!"Suesy yipped."Great.Now not only is my fur messed up,but I have looser germs on my tail!!"she was the biggest fashon queen in the pack."Don't mind her."Rollo said.Rollo was a 4 month old brown wolf,with a white belly,muzzle and paws.He was experamented on as a young pup.Rollo had blue and pale purple hair that grew up his scruff,and he also had bangs.His ears were the same pale purple.Right befor his fur was turned white,there was 'hyper' blue.Midnight,a 4 month old black wolf,was his best friend.Only,Rollo wanted to be more than 'just friends'...though he could never get enough courege to tell her.Then Rollo heard his pack howling,signaling it was time to hunt.Rollo's pack was less fortunet,for they only had four members.that made it hard to bring down enough food to feed them.They needed all the help they could get."Gotta go!"Rollo yipped.And off he ran."Papa,"said Midnight,"When will I learn to hunt?""How about...tomarrow?"Her father asked."TOMARROW?!!That'd be great!"Suesy and Daisy had to come with.But Zorrzo tought himself how to hunt.He didn't need to learn.He stayed home.

The next day,Midnight was having a blast.So far she cought 2 squirrels,five grass hoppers,one bird,and she was working on her third sguirrel.She chased the squirrel into a big tree with lots of big,close to gether limbs.She hopped onto a low branch,and started to climb.When she got about three feet up,she noticed a nest.But it wasn't like any bird nest.She peeked inside to see a family of squirrels!She stuck her head in,grabbed one,and put her paw in the hole so none could escape.After sufacting the one she had she heard her dad say"Are you alright up there?"She opened her mouth to talk and the sguirrel fell out of her mouth.It hit a branch,and hit the ground."Yeah,I'm great!"she declared.She got the next sguirrel,killed it and tossed it down.After she had tossed down four sguirrels,there was one left.She had her mouth around it,but it manedged to squirm free.She began to chase it.She got higher and higher in the tree,untill she could no longer see the bottem.She finnaly,she reached the top.She guessed she must have been 20 feet up."Hey dad,I can see our den from here!"She yapped."Oh really?"her father asked"What is your mother doing?"he said."I don't see her......hold on! I see somthing moving in the brush!"Maybe Rollo came to play.Wait till I tell him about the sguir--She was cut off in the middle of her thoughts.It wasn't Rollo in the brush,it was a hunter!"DAD!!!HUNTER!!!"she yelped."Get in trees!!"he told Midnght's sisters."Midnght,get hidden in the leaves.I'm going to protect your mother and Zorrzo!"Now Midnight was the stuborn one of the group.She didn't like to follow orders.So she got down and followed her father.When they where about 20 feet away,they saw the hunter,and Midnight's mother.Midnight's dad ran fowerd with all his might.But for the first time,Midnight passed him.They were ten feet away when Zorrzo looked out of the den,to see what was going on.Midnight was 5 feet away when they heard a resounding bang.She jumped on the hunter,knocking him over.She began terring into him.When her father reached the hunter he said"Zorrzo,check on your mother!""O-ok..."He said in a shaking vioce.Midnight's father began chewing on the leg of the hunter.Midnight finnaly said"Dad,we killed it."Zorrzo began crying,four the first time since birth,he cryed...then he looked over and saw Midnight,standing there,so surprised looking.Is this really for real...is she....She couldn't bare to think about it."YOU!!!"Zorrzo roared"You're the reson mom is dead!""What?!!!"Midnight yipped"How can you blame me?!!""You just had to go hunting!If you were here,dad would be here!If dad were here,he could have saved mom...""WHAT ABOUT YOU?!You're the oldest of the litter,and you were right there,ten feet away!!"Midnight growled.But somehow she knew,Zorrzo was right.The next thing she knew,he had grabbed both sides of her face with his claws.He pulled down hard,leaving huge gashes on ether side of her face."Don't you touch her!!!!"Rollo roared,jumping out of the brush.Quitly,they began to circle each other.Then they stared growling and snarling.Rollo pounced on Zorrzo.Zorrzo bit him hard and through him off.Rollo had been out hunting.He had killed huge prey animals.He,at four months old,was almost alpha.Zorrzo had only cought squirrels,and birds.And was still cosidered a 'pup'.He was no match for Rollo.Zorrzo limped back into the cave.Midnight began to cry.Her crying soon turned to sobbing."Hey,it's ok...come on...come down.."Rollo said"I'm sorry for hurting Zorrzo...he would have killed you other wise....""It;s not that"Midnight bravly said"I know things are going to be differnt from now on...and I know,i'm going to have problems now...but I also know,one day soon,I'll have to fight Zorrzo,maybe even kill him.I don't think I could kill my family!""Ohhh..."Rollo said,sorta confused."plus"Midnight said with a chukle"You're hurt."Rollo looked at his bleeding leg."Nahh,that's nothing---"Midnight cut him off in the middle of his sentence.She licked his check,smiled and said"You'll never catch me!!"Rollo and Midnight played tag,the rest of the day.
