Hector the random one Part two. Thanks to lots of peeps! and everyone who reads this!
(For those who haven't read part one, well in a rumble, 'Hector gets picked on, gets some scars and Loresa says his mother never loved him') Side note to that, that was the actual plot when I wrote the idea and it went from there. Loresa just has said his mother didn't love him and he started running away.)
Hector just had to get away, he couldn't take it, everyone just not caring for anything he did or tried. Why did everyone have a hate for him "Why!" Hector screamed aloud. Hector ran, and ran he ran into a branch of a tree it hit his eye. "ARG!" Hector jolted back in pain a paw over his eye. Hector grunted in pain he hated being in pain. Hector fell to the ground grunting, in pain and frustration. "I HATE YOU!" Hector screamed loud enough to echo. "I hate you I hate you! I don't love you at all!" Hector started running again.
"Is there anything good in this world?" Hector questioned himself, he stopped running out of breath, he didn't know how far he ran."It can't get any worse." A lightning bolt shot out in the distance with thunder, it started to down pour. "Never mind." Hector shook his head as he sobbed. Hector laid down and put his paws over his head, "I can't take it...I just can't." Hector wanted more than anything was someone to talk to. Someone who would listen, who would help when he was hurt. "I want home..." Hector sobbed repeatedly.
Hector awoke freezing cold, he shuddered. "Where?" He questioned himself. He shook his head, he didn't know where he was or what happened last night. He became terrified where was he, how did he get there raced though his mind. He felt tears fall from his eyes burning his cheeks, "Not again...not again..." Hector couldn't remember just like before. "I have to find someone..." Hector cried quietly. Hector looked up "HELLO!" His voiced echoed far. Hector felt despear take him, where was he. Hector panicked "Hello!" Hector ran froward, "Sabic!!!" Hector wanted to see someone, anyone, he didn't want to be alone.
Hector after two weeks and losing a lot of weight in the way home found his den. But being to hungry he just went for hunting for fish, he never ever could get a rabbit, but he couldn't get anything else. It took him four hours of hopeless snapping before he could get a fish which he ate almost instantly. "Now another five thousand bites for food!" Hector said happily but inside he was so sad with himself.
Hector had given up on fishing, he slowly started to walk away. "I'm going to die...but who cares?" He slowly said to himself. He took a breath, his breath was visible to the cold air. "Come on....." He hadn't tried saying hi or any greetings with his pack. When ever the thought came up, he felt hurt. He felt he didn't belong there, but had no where else to go to, he had fallen asleep at his thoughts.
Hector found himself in white area nothing was there but white. "Where I'm I?" He looked to side as some type of image started to form. He watched intently. It was a small wolf pup, he stood gazed by the puppy. A voice came up making the pup turn to the side, he also noticed that the picture was like someones sight it moved as well to the side, "Hey you two come over here now!"
Hector shot up from his sleep instantly putting his paw on his head, a painful headache stormed his mind, two thoughts kept racing in his mind, what kind of dream was that? And, Why was I gazed was that dream or memory? "How could it be dream...it didn't have someone I know just a puppy nothing else." He seemed disappointed in his answer but kept his spirits high. "Time to say hi."
He stood from his position, he sighed and went to where his pack was placed, his den was in truth away from it. He arrived sooner then he wanted to arrive at it. noooo too soon...
Hector sighed, he could see Sabic and Acrux where talking from his point, Acrux always did have the favor of Sabic, Acrux was a gifted tracker and Hector also heard he could fight, strongly.
Hector saw some wolves he didn't know with the ones he new, "Look skelator." Hector knew it was Loresa.
"Well of course!" Hector shouted, "Who else..it's me Hector I'm back and lost weight from the under weight I was before light weight now!" Hector seem to brag.
"Your pitiful." Loresa said annoyed with shouting.
"Just doin'-" Hector was pushed down by Acrux.
"You just can't control your yelling can you, at the rate everyone will know where we are.." Acrux scolded.
Hector resounded to him, "I've been tackled by fat wolf." His breath repressed from his weight. A small laugh broke from some wolves.
Acrux hit his face, "I hope you die someday the sooner the better."
"Well I couldn't say the same thing to to you but, to like you paw unto the face unto the tree unto the wise." Hector said confusing Arcux as let him go. Hector stood up, "You should try to eat less, your gut is plumply." Hector went quiet not wanting to make another beating of himself.
Hector went over to Loresa, "You seemed overjoyed by my visit." Hector said happily though it was a lie.
Loresa hoped he just go away and never come back, at least there was two weeks of not having him around. every good thing ends... "Why do you lie SO much?"
Hector was slightly paused by it, "You mean it's not the truth?" he asked with a smile.
It was so annoying how he never got anything, it seemed he was plan retarded, well more stupid every day. Loresa grunted with anger, "Why do try talking? Nothing that leaves your mouth makes sense and you know you're hated by everyone, so why do you stay?"
Hector's eyes slightly grazed but answered, "Where would I go?" he asked, actually sounding like he meant it.
"Well any place far from here will suit everyone best. Even for you. We'd all be better out with out you, it's stupid how you don't see that, you can't hunt, you cause a racket, you just piss everyone off, are stupid, or you can't you see that?" Loresa scolded.
Why do I still go here? I knew shouldn't have... Hector thought to himslef.
Loresa was slightly shocked he didn't just say something back in that time you just finished, Finlay he gets something!!
Hector forced himself to answer "4+12 is my answer to that." Hector happy voice returned and patted Loresa head, she growled and snapped at his paw, "She's rabid.." Hector said aloud.
Loresa got angry again, there he goes again! She sighed annoyed at him he never listened to anyone he did whatever he wanted no matter how much Sabic hit him, or scolded, he never submitted to anyone. Which was annoying for hours Sabic or someone will try to get him to go the submissive state, all he do laugh and smile and say some random thing that made no sense.
Hector sighed to himself, "Time to hi, to someone else." he started to walk away. Loresa said under breath, Hector could hear her though, "when will you learn you not wanted." He swallowed hard at that, he really hoped one day, someone else would say that they were wrong. Besides himself.
Hector randomly said hi to everyone in pack not staying long just saying a simple 'hi'. He soon found himself at his den. Hector thought how to make a friend, but how could he when he blew it already. "How to make friends treat them how you'd be treated...." Hector thought to himself. "Time to hunt."
He started out by going out to a plain, he looked either way. "I won't return till I have what I want to give..." Hector sighed, "But I wouldn't be able to do much any way...." He said doubting himself. "What is wrong with me?!" He asked himself. "I know there is something! I'm different, there something that is truely wrong, something about me is wrong! WAHT? UH! WHAT?!" Hector was scolding at himself for not talking right.
"I talk to myself a lot....Is there anyone else, that is alone like me out there? Somewhere..." Hector sighed, answering himself in defeat. "No use....I can't figure what wrong with me....." Hector fell asleep trying to think of the matter.
He awoke in an early morning
Hector 8 months pass. True past, true Hatred
Hector didn't make any contact with is pack for for six months, during those months with straving hunger he managed to learn how to hunt on his own so he no longer needed to steal food, to eat. Though he still could never catch a rabbit no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't get them. He could get caribou just fine, and other things but just not rabbits. To him it was impossible life to take.
Whenever the thought of going back to his pack just lead to emotions at swarmed in his mind he just didn't like the feeling he was sick and tired of hearing painful joke about how his mother didn't love him and didn't want him. He knew his mother must be looking for him or painfully thought he was dead either one it didn't matter to him, just that he knew she did love him but he was lost, lost to this pack tourmenting.
He couldn't take it anymore he just would become a loner. He thought about it. "If I, just left no one would care, who would? I know how to hunt but the alpha just uses me so he can something to bite." He thought about how often Sabic would attack him, the scars had built up over the months, he seemly grow more ugly every time he went to the pack. The only thing he knew that three scars he had on his head, where the only ones he had when he stumbled upon the pack.
"If someone cared, but the fact is they don't." He looked away with a smile, "That's what makes the world, the lies that people make everyday, the things they miss to make ones day, see the error they have done, but it all seems to go around what ever is easy and never what it is right, that's the true way it goes."
He walked down to the fox den it was a tad too small though it fit him just fine though he wanted bigger, bigger making more room to go sleep in more then one or two spots to sit at and sleep. "Nothing better to do." He started to work on the den, making it bigger, for it being too small for him. He may be humble about other things but he wasn't humble about having a small den.
After some hours of digging and putting the dirt outside in a rather neat way he stopped to rest on the matter of his den. He lay on his belly looking out his den seeing some light poring in like water that didn't splash as it hit the ground.
He slightly shook his front paws bleeding from running into too many rocks as he dug scratching them open. He paused taking a breath his paws stung painfully like stepping onto a thorn with no shoe in that moment he felt the pain of it stabbing though the skin sending off pain to put weight off and pull the thorn out or just stare at it in pain he could only stare and wait for it to pass by letting him rest but he knew it wouldn't go away for some hours.
He slightly growled at te pain in his paws, he just wanted to stop so he could do something other then just lay there and wait for pain to go away. He took a look at his paws though the dirt he could see where they were cut open and bleeding it wasn't as bad as he thought it was rather small but it hurt a lot, much like a paper cut it's small but hurts.
Hector chose to just rest on his side, he knew he wold fall asleep then move on to the waking day. His wake came sooner then he wanted and tired to sleep again.
"Hey pain is away!" Hector made a happy laugh of joy. "No more pain for me! eh.." He paused looking at his den. "Hey it's bigger! Wait....that was me who made it bigger. No harm in making it even bigger."
Hector just as the day before started to to dig, when some dirt hit his head, he paused, "Oh no.." He moved to dash but a part of the den fell on him his back half. "OI!!!" he looked back at himself his eyes wide.
"I have been cut in half!!!! RAHHH!" He started to scream in terror till he was out of breath, he paused taking a few breaths to start screaming again, till yet again out of breath. "Ahhh!!!" cries could be heard out side his den.
Later
He paused looking forward being stuck and gave up on screaming it took a few long moments to realize he wasn't cut in half, he growled unable to move at all on his other half that was under his den. He growled louder getting mader.
He started to try to pull himself out but with no success not even an inch out. He made an uttering sound as he tried to pull himself out with some words, "Lent me free, give me liberty or give me death EH!"
"LEt go!!" He tired pulling again going no where but in one spot. "Let me go devil of the evil spirits of the underworld!! Let me go and I will never return!" He lets a war like cry trying to pull himself out again, ending witht he same result. "hmm this is what hell is like.."
He started to pant out of energy to vainly try to pull himself out again. "Oh so YOU think you have won you dirt on me no, just round one, one round all right big boy try this!"
He started to pull as hard as he could, "Let go, let go, let go, let go, let go! he screamed out, and as fast as turning on a light switch he was free from the dirt that kept him still and in one place for that time.
He went to run from the sudden freedom running into wall in his den, hitting his head, "Glahhh!" He cried in pain as he fell down onto his side giving moaning out in pain. "Oh no! AH!! Life just isn't far are fare-Fair!" He finally was able to say right. "Owww ouch!!!" He felt blood going down his head.
He paused looking up at den wall he hit he could see a tindy rock in the wall, he started to laugh loudly, "hahahhahha!" HAAAAAHAAAA!" he rolled onto his back laughing harder and harder, "A rock the only rock in the wall my head runs intooooooo iiiittttt!" he stated extending his words as he laughed hardly being able to breath, "Ohhh! in my world that is true mine MINE!" He broke to his huge laughter again., but slowly turned to tears and crying. "Why me...why?"
He stopped crying and got up quickly going to the rock having his eye right up to it, very close to it, so you think you are tough!" He lifted his pay and hit the rock out of the wall and then hit it out of his den, "Oh Yeah! beat you sucka!!" He chanted a little for his victory, several times.
He stopped where he saw his den cave in on it's self, He stared at it, his mouth twitching, "That is going to take a while to clean up." He paused and moaned in protest, "I don't wanna!!!"
He looked around, "I swear I saw someone, I was talking to someone I swear..." he moved eyes left, and right, "Fine there was no one, but they are watching..."
He moved the dirt around, moving it around several times before pushing out of the den, he frowned "This well take fortime....no, the word it's like ever...forever that's right...it be easier if I had someone telling me if I was wrong or not that's for sure."
Ha walked out of the den not really readdy to right back to work to fixing his den right back up when it was half destroyed. He at down next to end of his den. The grass making a small noise as he did so, he looked down wondering why, they where longer then most grass. He turned looking in the forest where his pack would be if kept going foward and would make left turn.
He turned his den towards the ground staring at it found something he didn't notice, "I need to be as strong as grass...from start I was weaker then the grass, grass you trample every day...you can eat or and cut it...just growths right back...every time it daily gets hurt cut eaten but it just grows back after fire grass is the first to return to what was burnt in the first place and after...but why are they strong they been around loooonnnggggg time I can tell that, take every beating, every insult and get bent and go back to normal with no remorse....That's what I need to become..."
He turned looking into his den, "I was just bent...now I go fold back right back to normal...." he took breath ingouring the pain in his paws, "I should find a friend with big paws so if this happens I get him to help....Friend? Not in this pack buddy...." He spent the next hours getting his den cleared out till he was tired and let himself sleep. When he awoke, he turned looking over towards the mess, he gasped and started to twitch an eye, "It's bigger in the day...."
With a sigh he turned away, "I need to do something fun....what do I find fun....I mean I laugh a lot but it's about when I get hurt...I find it funny that when some are mad..it's funny eh...but what else? I need to find to find what I like..Yeah Hector you lost it...."
He looked up at the den's ceiling with hurt eyes, partly watering, "What do you think is fun?" He let his mind think and search, "There has to be something....you laugh so much....smile so much...." He looked down at the ground, still searching his head, "Eating?" I don't like eating alone....everyone eats with someone but me.... He tilted his head, "Hunting?" I can't catch anything I'm bad at it and the rabbit is the easy but I can't catch one even if I try... "Sleeping you like, no one bothers you or hurts you there. But I can't escape dreams of them hurting me, or scary ones....or the fact when I wake no one is around..."
Just because you smile and laugh doesn't mean your happy....it's just a fray I put on.... "I hate being alone...I hate other wolves...they're mean and refuse to understand...accept who I am....I hate them! I hate them.." He growled as he felt a tear, "Why do they make me feel this way...I hate them..." He shook his head trying to make the tear come off, "Why do I want them, I hate them!" He looked out the den, "Their debts must be payed! They must PAY! I HATE THEM!!! I.....HATE.....THEM......I HATE THEM!"
He paused to take a breath to howl his hate, "I HATE THEM!" He turned looking at the mess he had to clean, he smiled, "I found something...a good something....I like to get vengance... on them I will get my back stab at them." He didn't care he said a word wrong he didn't even know he had.
As he cleaned the mess from the night before he planned out the revenge he was thinking of, in several ways, murder was the keen one, he kept on thinking about, something they can't take back after he had done it. He smiled as he thought of it. "Just wait Hector......just wait."
He looked back in the den seeing it done much sooner then he thought, he laughed loudly and long, "Fun is great! I see why so many, so many do it! It's great.." He slowly stopped laughing. "In time...in time..."
He thought for a moment, "If this..is to be done right I need to take steps first...I need to remember the patterns of the pack when the wolves go out alone...when this happens, but which one I taget, I must watch closely." He turned his head, "It will turn out alright..about this hateding..hating with me now I will do something smarter instead of just getting hit I'll give them a piece of my mind and bite back." He smiled he could easily remember how often they hit him or pinned him. Though he would run an make random words before he was pinned. He had a rough but strong guess at their strengths and speed.
"Now...now shall I cover up the steps and try doing this with out a case of...they will expect me anyway if I killed someone they blame me for everything so it will aft, to be I'm in two places at the same time to cover up what I'll do...if I show at one place then run my tracks will stay..." He bit his tong wondering how to do murder without getting caught. "This is much harder then I thought...they can hear....so the death must be quick without much noise..."
He paused looking at the wall, he remembered the rock his head hit, "Perhaps if I got a rock and knocked the wolf out in one blow...but if it fails much noise can be made..or a cry for help then my scent would be caught soon after and I would be killed..."
"Maybe if, I or they are at a cliff a land side...that I make to kill that wolf...but then I'd run the risk of paw prints and scent as well if this is to be so I would need to that in a storm...when it rains...if it be this way it would be nice perhaps I could stand up fight when it rains so scent and prints go away also I could walk differently in a slip way so it's just a bunch of line like prints no connection..."
He looked to the exit of his den, "The hard part is planning the easy is putting it into motion." He thought for moment of his words before into planing murder; he smiled it was much better then just killing someone then dying this way the pack would be worried and if he did so right after the first the rest would be in fear. This would make it hard but in some cases not as hard to kill another because then they would come out in patterns, but then they might all go out in pairs this would make things much more difficult. Unless if he did attack one would flee and tell others he is murderer and he would have to flee. But then he would be sure to kill at least two if things went right if he stayed and fought till death maybe three, and three would feel his pain. He thought some more, if he ran he could come back after a year and take out another member of the pack increasing the number that felt his pain. He laughed softly, "I just need to take steps then everything will be said and done for now said but not done just aft the the and in there and the action will be right and I will be happy."
Hector chose to rest and sleep the rest of the day thinking of ways and if this and that. He kept silent, in case of someone listening in on his self talks with himself.
In the next morning he decided to go to the pack; he now realized he hated so much. He opened his eyes from his sleep peering around, in his den, he turned to the expansion he had added he smiled slightly, admiring the new size of it. He moved his eyes towards the way into his den.
He shook his head in dislike, he pushed himself to his feet as he walked out of his den, he sheered his eyes in the sunlight, he turned his head side to side looking around. He looked to his left. "That pack is over there...and mine...is" He turned to his side till he made a 180. "There.." He stated coldly. He felt his feet move step by step to the pack. He just kept saying in his head one, two, three, four.
He peered his head upright his nose smelling the scent of the pack, this one was Sabic's He tilted his head off to the side, his eyes could see his disaproving face at him. Hector hated his face, he hated his scent, as a pup he was the one who always chased him away, kept him starving, his wounds open, kept making scars.
"Hey, ey! Sabic! You seemed rather happy to see me today!" He paused looking up at the sky, "A bit clodly but it's fine."
Sabic stared at him, while shaking his head, "When will you talk properly?!" He asked ill tempered.
"Good question!" He cheerfully stated almost instantly. Why can't he just leave me ALONE! "Maybe when you, I can't, hit my head then uh wolf starve might have something to do with it."
He watched him charge up to him to hit his head with his paw, he felt the pain in the hit but didn't really care much. He looked at him then his eyes upward trying to see where he had hit him. "That's not nice."
"Your not either!" Sabic shouted at his ear, making it twitch. Hector noticed him move away.
"You're Welcome!" He shouted happily with a cheerful smile, Sabic simply glared at him. "Now wait a minute." He paused in hateful thoughts of the pack's alpha. He felt a breeze brush past him he turned looking at the trees and the rocks around him. He tilted his head, "This is what I call home?! No home is..." he stopped his sentence, is someone that makes you feel safe, and makes you smile, make you happy
"Good luck with that." He stated to himself softly, he lost track of where and what he was doing for a while, he shook his head, he looked around not know where he was or why he was where he was. "I Don't know WHY I'm here."
He looked around to come to terms with himself that he was at his den, "How, ca-WHEN! WHy? This is wha-ha! GLU!" He shook his head, in confusion. "I'm not going to ask." He then again walked out of his den, noting it was nightfall. "How did this happen?" He sat down not caring anymore. He paused noting his shoulder hurt. "Wha?"
He felt like he had been beaten up again or something of the nature. He sighed as he turned to look up at the stars, seeing them endless in numbers he smiled. He didn't know why they made them smile. They just did. He turned his head slowly to the ground he shook his head. "I don't like the dark...it's pleasing to me seeing no one, but something is missing."
He pondered for a moment, "After two nights the third my revenge would be done....on someone....I need to make a goal so I will actually do it." He knew he was rushing it but he no longer cared much as long as his revenge was done his life could end as long as he did something with it.
"If I am viewed as evil then so be it, better then being an outcast, pushed away all the time...I hate them, they are mine to share pain with!" He shook his head, "In time they will feel the wraith of hate and pain."
He took a long breath slightly confused. He slowly looked down at the ground, he heard the trees make some noise in the wind, although he couldn't see them. "I hate being alone.....I HATE it." He tilted his head to the side seeing his paws from a different view he could see some scars on his legs, "I HATE IT!" He disliked the way he looked he hated scars, and he had much more then anyone else from doing stunts and hurting himself for others fun seeking.
"
"I want home....Mom....Dad." He stated to no one, "Where are you?!!" He shouted the same questions a few times over and over, till his throat hurt. "Home...I want it so much, it isn't a place, it's someone who makes you feel safe, and loved, and special, stupid places aren't home!"
He growled making a snarl in the disgust, some of his spit hit the ground, "Why do I talk to myself? Why?" He started to walk in circles, "I do it so I remember to talk, how to talk, say things right, they way things should be said, but I still mess up, how long will it take?!" He asked himself angered. He sighed slowly giving up on the matter, "Who I don't talk to myself then I really don't have anyone to talk to, odd enough I still don't say what I think although I talk to myself a lot when I am alone." He stopped walking in circles thinking of it.
1 year and 7 months pass.
Hector didn't follow through with his revenge he didn't have it in him to stand up to anyone very well, let alone hurt them. He had simply moved in out of the pack witht he casual conversations and attacks.
He had grown continuely soft in the past days, he started to give up on pretty much everything. He always smiled at what ever someone said, he no longer gave out much words, no longer snappy randomness. He was just simply just there, and smiled at everyone. He still refused to give any sort of submissive behavoir to anyone.
"Hey Loresa..." Hector stated as he walked pasted her, she just as quickly demanded what he wanted, he smiply smiled at her as he walked away. He heard her say he was a pervert again. He was heading to his den again.
He looked at his down from outside, it was fairly hidden the entrance was pointing north, no one in his whole pack new where it was. He new it was fairly close to a large pack nearby that he heard used large caves, he didn't care for it all. He looked around seeing the emptyness of the area around his den, few trees, bits of grass coming out of the snow. "Something about love round this time of year aint there."
He turned to direction of his pack, he was a fair distance away, a few miles away it was roughly an hour way to and from. Something about today felt dark, he paused feeling a warmth on his pack, he looked to his side seeing the sun hit the snow. "It is a good day to sleep isn't it?" He felt the warmth of the sun fade away as the clouds blocked it. He eyed the sky the clouds were fairly dark. He quickly entered the den to sleep, and try to forget his troubles in his dream, odd enough for him he never onced dreamed of his mother. Dispite wanting to it never happened.
Hector felt somthing push on his shoulder, it was large and fairly warm, "GET UP!" He slowly opened his eyes he looked around, he looked down at his fairly large paws, he was 13 week old puppy again. Hector forgot about his past life or currently life, and he knew he was puppy, and mother wanted him to wake up.
He turned seeing a young and fair gray wolf looking at him rather angry, he didn't care much, "Mom!" he shouted and jumped at her, trying to like her face, she lifted her head to evade him. After several failed atempts he stopped and sat down looking up at her panting.
His mother sighed, "Stay here, I'm going out for a small bit." He instantly whimpered at hearing this, she started to walk away, he quickly followed her, she was the center of his life.
"STAY!" She shouted, the pup stopped wondering what he did to get her angry at him, "Just, stay here.."
He whimpered as he went to the far end of the den and layed down on the ground, whimpering as his mother left. Getting bored quickly he soon fell asleep. He awoke several times wondering if his mother had returned. He turned to a granite rock near him, he whimpered slightly, he already missed his mother.
He whimpered as he headed toward the entrance of the den, often was scolded to go back, but his mother wasn't there to put him back to the den. He wondered about seeing large things standing out of the ground, which were trees but he didn't know it.
He paws hit something which caused him fear and he yelped for his mother, as he ran away a slight bit, he looked down to see what his paw had hit. He tilted his head at it, it was a stick rather large. He carefully went up to it and bit down on it, he could barely bite into it. He wanted to snap it. He growled playfully as he nawed on it, trying vainly to snap it, with his small teeth.
Hearing a noise made him stoppe, he looked around while biting the stick, the thought of something stealing it entered his mind, he quickly, but slowly started to drag it towards the den. After a while he moved it into the den, were he kept his favorite things. Something he found in the den when he was roughly 6 weeks he found his prize toy, or trophy. A granite rock, he played with it a lot.
Although he loved the granite rock, the stick was new, and as he naws some bark fell off it, which amazed his mind. which soon afterword he would eat some of the bark, that fell off.
An hour or so later his mother returned home finally, he instantly stopped nawing on the stick to greet her. He jumped about around her, trying to get her attention. She partly ingoured him to calm him down. After a few moments he calmed down. "Mom, mom, mom!"
"What Hector?" His mother asked softly while looking at him, which made him excited that he had her attention, which she knew he craved 24/7.
"Look, look, look, look!" Hector shouted as he ran up to the stick which he had brought in, "I can bake it!"
-"Break"
-"huh?"
"Break not bake" his mother watched him pause as he learned how to say something properly.
"Watch me break this!" She nodded his head as he began to bite the stick, after a while, he was still unsuccessful, constantly shouting "wait!" After motherly patience Hector broke some of the bark off the stick.
"See, see, I told you mommy!" Hector shouted at his successfly as he ran up to running around her legs, "SEE?!" After a short moment he asked a question, "What is that anyway?"
"A stick."
"Sick"
"Stick!"
"Tic?"
"A stick Hector, a stick!'
Hector paused slowly sounding out stick, "St-ick, stick!" He repeated it several times, annoying his short tempered mother. "Love you mom."
His mother paused and looked outside the den for a short moment, "I love you too..." She stated very plainly, she felt her pup lay down next to her feet. She looked down at the pup, he was smiling at the world.
Hector looked up at her mother who was looking at him, he shouted her name several times wanting to lick her face, she didn't lower head, and looked back outside the den.
He paused looking down, did he upset her? The question remained in his mind through out the day, as the usual for him and his mother he played a lot, every now and then he tried to play with his mother, but she would scold him, and make him go back to his granite rock or stick. It was incredibly odd to him. She always played with him, even when he awoke at night she still would play with him, if he wanted.
For a while he stayed quit and didn't do anything which seemed to make his mother at ease, all he ever wanted to do, is make his mother happy and at ease. He sometimes did this every now and then just basically stayed still often so his mother could what he thought day dream, because she often looked outside and sleep. He guessed it made her happy, if she was happy, he was very happy.
He watched her look outside of the den at the entrance, he was playing with his grantie rock, he moved it too close to his mother which bumbed into her, he instantly started to shout, "I'm so sorry, sorry, sorry sorry!"
He watched his mother look, she miled, "I'd get carried away sometimes if I...had a rock like yours, it would be a lot of fun." The rock was close enough for her to bite it and toss it over to her son. "Enjoy, let mom rest."
Although she said that, he didn't really want to play anymore, because he had disturbed her. He tried playing around for another five minutes or so, but couldn't. He grapped his rock by his mouth and layed down next to his mother's head. She didn't seem to notice him at all.
She sighed and rested her head on top of her son, which she knew pleased him, she soon could tell that he was growing very, very, tired.
Hector paused he let his mouth off of the granite rock so he could sleep easier, and soon enough he had fallen alseep again.
Several hours later he awoke again, it was dark. Which meant it was nightfall as he knew it, he felt cold, he looked around, his mother wasn't in the den, some fear entered him. When he had heard her voice outside, which relaxed him.
He paused thinking of his mother, he remembered how she spoke of his rock, "She doesn't have anything to hav, fun with...'' He looked down at his granite rock, his favorite thing besides his mother. "I'll give this to her, she like, get cared away with it, won't ask till p...pemission no, she offer it to me to play with."
Although for him to part with his granite rock, he loved his mother more. He grabbed it and exited the den in search of his mother. when he left the den he looked around, he couldn't see her anywhere, fear agains started to take hold of his mind. He heard his mother again, he couldn't tell what she was saying but at least it was her!
Her voice was to his right, as he moved closer for the first time he went down hill some grass took some effort to climb over but, he didn't take much note of it though, he just wanted to see his mother. As he got closer he heard some sort soft shouting somewhere.
He smiled as he could see his mother at a small clearing, it was somewhat horse U shapped. He wanted to slightly suprise her. Not taking note of most noise other than his mothers, which he wasn't even listening to at the moment.
As he moved quietly in the bushes around his mother he noted that there was steep, steep incline downhill. At the bottom he could see white moving, like clouds. He also noted that the soft roaring or yelling seem to get louder as he looked at the clouds below.
He turned his head back to the direction of his mother; there was a hole in a bush nearby small enough to fit him. He gripped his granite rock a bit tighter and moved into the hole, he could now see his mother passing back and forth, talking to herself. Only this time he listened.
"Sick of it! I'm so sick of it! Day in and day out...all day. There's never a moment of peace, no friends, just him!" She obviously seemed angry at something but what was it? He wondered this making him stop his advance to his mother.
"Why did it have to be me? WHY?! I never did anything, I was just being my age, having fun, going out at night for a walk...How could that happen to me, why did I get rapped, and now I'm stuck with a clone of that evil being, every single day, he even sounds like him!"
Hector gripped his rock tighter, he didn't know the word rape, but it didn't sound right. His mother was sad, which made him depressed, he was about to move farther when she continued.
"He always wants to be around; I wish I could just kill him! But no the alpha says this, the alpha says that, and I'm stuck with that abomination! I hate him so much, I hate him! I never wanted him, I wasn't ready!" She paused as she stopped somewhat pointing in Hector's direction, if she was watching closely she would have seen him. Her expression changed into a cold, unloving face. He wasn't used to seeing that, he never saw his mother like this.
"I hate him so much, and every time I'm required to say 'I love you', 'I love you too'?" She gave a short laugh with little humor, "I just want to say to that annoying Hector, 'I hate you I don't love you at all!' But no, I have to lie and say I love you. Nothing, nothing would please me more than NEVER seeing you again."
Hector felt the grip on his granite rock loosen, as he eyes glazed, his mother hated him? She didn't want to see him again, that would make her happy?
"But that can't happen I'm stuck with you I have to raise you, I hate you so much Hector, I wish you'd die! I don't love you, I never have, I never will! I hope you get killed, I hope you suffer the worst fate in the entire world! I hate you so much! I don't love you! I don't! I hate you! I don't love you at all!" From where she was sitting to Hector it looked like she was talking to him.
She heard a sound of a rock falling to the ground, she paused, "Mom?" She looked down seeing Hector her expression from before the same. He started to back away from her.
He didn't wait for his mother to reply only one thing was on his mind right now, his mother didn't love him, she hated him. Forgetting the steep incline that he was near, he fell down it. As he rolled he yelped in pain, but the yelp wasn't like his other yelps, it wasn't for his mother. He wanted to get away from her.
It seemed to take forever to stop rolling around and hitting things as he rolled. He tried getting up a few times, but fell down dizzy from all the rolling he had done.
He heard a few noises close by, he heard his mother shout his name, she wasn't happy, of course she wasn't he wanted him to die. He started to move forward, he paused. The soft yelling or roaring he heard was now rather loud. He looked around. He lost some footing and fell down again; he had a hard time walking he hurt all over. He wanted someone to help him, but his mother wasn't one who could help him.
He turned to his left, he could see water moving down stream it was a small river. He of course didn't even know what it was, it just looked like water to him, and he saw no difference in moving deep water and shallow. "Hector get over here!" He turned hearing him being called by his mother; he had to get away from her.
Not knowing what danger he was about to put himself in he jumped into the water, thinking it was shallow like the rest of the water he had entered. He couldn't have been more wrong. He started to drown, he tried to get up for air, but he hardly knew how to swim. Let alone swim in moving water. As he got farther down the water kept on moving faster.
Luckily for him he although couldn't control himself was pushed on a rock, where in survival mode he instantly managed to climb up on it. He started to cough, he had never been so afraid in his life! He started to whimper loudly, he wanted to hide at his den, but his mother would find him. He started to cry in fear, and sorrow.
"Hector!" He looked over to his left, there was another rock nearby his mother was moving toward him. Having great fear of his mother he stood up and started backing away. "HECTOR, STOP!" Her voice seemed angrier than before, she was going to hurt him, and he didn't doubt that. She wasn't caring anymore, she never was, and she lied to him, all his life.
She moved now close to him, she raised a paw near him, "Come here, Hector!" Her temper somehow was getting shorter. She raised a paw near him, he stood still in fear, and her paw moved over him suddenly, she was barely too far to touch him. If she was closer she would have pushed him off. She was trying to push him into the water! He looked behind him; there was another rock somewhat close. A part of him wanted to cry out for his mother, so she could save him from this terror, but she didn't love him, she just tried to push him into the water. He looked back at her terrified, despite being terrified of his recent experience with the water and having terrible fear of it and being surrounded by it, he took his chance and jumped for the nearby rock. He failed at reaching it.
Again he couldn't breathe he was rolling and hitting things left and right, he managed to get to the surface taking breath, he heard something loud and familiar. He couldn't see anymore, he suddenly felt the most painful thing he had ever felt it all came from his head. The pain didn't last long as he closed his eyes.
Hector slowly opened his eyes from his rest, tears falling down his face; he now remembered how he became separated from his mother. He now knew the word rape, what it meant. His father in fact left him at birth the moment in a way when he was born he left. His mother never wanted him, she was forced to bare him as a pup and raise him. It wasn't a wonder to him, why she would want to push him into the water. It was a perfect accident for her to use to get rid of him. The worst, the absolute worst of it all, not the fact she had tried to kill him, but she didn't love him!
Everyone was right, Loresa was right. All along his mother hated him, his father hated him 'she never loved you' He felt his chest heaving remembering when she had said those words. "No. no, no, no, no!" The only thing that kept him going when he was at the pack was his mother did love him, and was looking for him, and when he found her, she would love him. This couldn't have been farther from the truth, his father just sought pleasure and didn't care for him at all, his mother didn't want him, didn't love him. "She had that right..." He found out what was off about himself, he was the son of a rapist, and looked like one, he looked like his father! His sorry excuse for a father was a rapist, who raped his mother, who gave birth to him. "NOO!" He begged for it not to be true he went over his memory that returned in a dream, it was true he could remember it so clearly now. It was the truth, the hard truth.
He never was loved by his father....
He never was loved by anyone in his pack....
He never was loved by his mother.....
"Why was Loresa right?" He took a breath in his tears, "Why?! Why?!" He stood up as he stated the words, "It's not fair that she is right! It's not! I hate you! I hate you!" He headed towards the exit to his den, "I'll make you pay, I'll make you suffer! I'll make you suffer!"
