Everyone's A Rat

It was a warm day for everyone in Nome. The sled team has made there last run for this season from Nome to White Mountain back to back . Twenty miles later they arrive, with loss of members.

Kodi: Alright Everyone! That was great thank you very much!

Sampson: Thanks Kodi! It was fun running with you guys! I will see you the next time.

Ralph: Hey Kodi , you alright? You seem depresed.

Kodi: Yes Ralph, no need to ask. I'm doing okay.

Kirby: Hey Kodi I think I happen to know why Dusty quited the team.

Kodi: I dont want to know.

Kodi walks out of the scene. Head faced to the ground while walking. Ralph turns to Kirby.

Ralph: Do you know what Kodi's problem is?

Kirby: Yeah I think... Eh no I just lost it.

Ralph: I think Kodi is sad that Dusty left the tea,

Kirby: Thats a lame thing to investigate.

Ralph: C'mon it will be fun.

Kirby: You know what lets just go!

After Kodi's depression he desides to take a walk. Passing Dusty's house realizing that she isnt there. "Man!" Kodi whispers with force. Then continues walking. Kodi turns the other way, and in the other dirrection. And finaly bumping into Dusty.

Dusty: Ow, Sorry Kodi I didnt see you there.

Kodi: No its alright many people bump into each other these days.

Dusty: I dont see how that applies. Anyway hows the team?

Kodi: A big deppression after you left.

Dusty (smiling sarcasticly) : Hey look I got to go, say want to like hang out sometime?

Kodi looks at Dusty with a I cant believe you said that. "Sure Dusty I-I-I would love to." Dusty looks at Kodi " "Okay, I'll see you tonight red legs." Dusty walks away and continues her task. Ralph runs into Kodi yelling "AHHHHH"

Ralph: Good Lord? What Are You Doing? Do you know what you've done?

Kodi: Ah, no?

Ralph: Dusty asked you out on a date! Thats, thats unbelievable!

Kodi: So... your point is?

Ralph: Nothing, nothing. Sooner or later your going to start with the chasing the sticks by moonlight , then with your coodies! Then a few weeks later you'll be miserable with 15 puppies/

Kodi (Sarcastic) : HAHAHA, very cute of you. Hey let me pretend I have a lunch to go to. Say I have a lunch to go to why dont I go!

Kodi walks away from the scene with Ralph still yelling at him.

Ralph: Kodi! Dont go there! I'm telling you! Thats going to be a big mistake!

Kodi continues walking, this time he continues walking to his mothers place.

3 mins. later...

Balto laying upside down begining to fall asleep. He sighs and turns in the other dirrection.

Jenna: Hey Balto!

Balto: Yes Jenna?

Jenna: Hey look who I found snooping around, heh its your son!

Balto takes a good look at his son that he never seen in 3 months. Balto jumps up with confusion.

Balto: Uh Uh Jenna it was 2 years ago! I was very very young and uh I never heard of the word rubber and She talked me into it I swear!!

Jenna (looking at Balto with a ? face.): W- what are you talking about? This is Kodi.

Balto: Oh, hey Kodi!

Kodi hey dad, um I need some help do you think you can help?

Balto: Sure, what do you need help with?

Kodi: Ummmm, some relationship problems.

Jenna: Oh how cute!

Balto: Okay son , whats wrong? Want to fall in love with that special someone?

Kodi: Yeah dad.

Balto pushes the door open closes to him and walks out. "Come on son, I'm going to teach you a lesson on ' Looking For That Special Someone. ' "

Kodi: Cool Dad!

Kodi follows Balto down the road until they reach Balto's ship.

Balto (Drinking the lake water) : Okay young lover who's your special someone?

Kodi: Okay Dad only if you dont react wierd.

Balto: What? She's ugly?

Kodi: No, dad you promise?

Balto: Yeah I do.

Kodi: Okay dad, her name is... Dusty.

Balto had promised Kodi that he would not react incorectly, instead he makes a spit take, causing the water to come out of his nose.

Kodi: Dad? You alright?

Balto: No, I'm alright! Holy white wolf! You like Dusty? I knew you had something for her.

Kodi: It was something personal.

Balto: Whatever, I knew that anyway. C'mon lets go she's down over on what we dogs call "Hove Beach"

Kodi: Hove Beach?

Balto: Yup!

Balto walks with Kodi to the hill over Hove Beach. "Look there's Kirby and Dusty!?" Kodi whispers to his father.

Balto: Yes there they go, *gasp* get down.

Kodi: Are we spying?

Balto: I think we are.

Dusty walks towards Kirby "How ya doing Dusty?

Dusty: I'm doing great. Thanks for asking.

Kirby: Say why did you quit the sled team?

Dusty: I - I dont know. My parents just died , I have been under alot of pressure these days...

(Camera zooms back up to Balto and Kodi)

Balto: Hey Kodi go home, I'll see what I can see.

Kodi: O... K.

After Kodi's long walk back to his home he has been waiting for good new for about 3 days.

3 days later...

Kodi runs to Balto "Hey Dad did you get any good news?" Kodi says in a depressed mood.

Balto: Nothing much lately

Kodi: *sighs* I wish I knew her much better than a friend.

Balto: Right, well for the past few days she turns out a Kirby place.

Kodi: What? You knew this all along and you never told me?

Balto: What was I suppost to do? You might not know if they were mating or not!

Kodi losses his mind and freaks out. "You cold heartless BASTARD!"

Balto: Kodi watch your language! Get your act strait now! Your just going to let one of your best friend breed with one of your mindless girlfriend? You need help!

Kodi: There's nothing to do about it now.

Balto (Running out the door): For get it! Come with me Kodi! Were going to deal with this! C'mon!

Kodi (running behind Balto): Dad! Your not going to do anything stupid are you... Dad!?
