" Balto!" said Jenna.

"Yes," said Balto.

"Were you listning to me?" asked Jenna.

"Ya," sighed Balto," The pups have to find a home of their own."

"Balto I now that it's hard for you, but you have to let them go sooner or later, and we are chosing sooner," said Jenna.

" I now, and they are ready," sighed Balto.

"I'm glad you undersrtand," said Jenna nuzzling Balto.

After all the pups were sold Balto and Jenna said goodbye and headed to the house and boat.

That night Balto kept hearing wolves howl in the woods, he was wondering if one of them was Alue.

" Hey, Boris, i'm going into the woods for a while, tell Jenna if she comes to see me," said Balto running into the woods.

"Can't you do that your self!" Boris yelled back at him.

   Balto was drinking out of a small stream when he heard a twig snap.

"GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, why are you here on my packs terf,GRRRR,"

Balto turned around to see a brown wolf witha grey under belly standing in front of him.

"I said why are you here, wolf?" growled the wolf again.

" I'm not a wolf, and i'm just passing through," ansewed Balto.

"NO, your coming with me," said the wolf.

The wolf turned around and Balto fallowed him, he did not want to get into a big fight now.

" Why do you want me to fallow you?" asked Balto.

" You smell of a different wolf pack," said the wolf," or a dog."

" Well I live with dogs, and i'm part wolf," explained Balto.

" So your a wolf-dog, my sister and I are,too," said the wolf.

" Do other wolves pick on you, because were I live they did," asked Balto.

The wolf didn't answer the quistion he just kept on walking.

" We're close to the pack, do not get my leader mad," warned the wolf.

" I now how to handle wolves, my daughter is a leader," explained Balto.

Soon Balto saw a lot of other wolves walking taking carring food and looking at him, suspiciusly.

"What have you brought me today?" asked a wolf, that Balto guessed was the leader.

"I have brought you a wolf thatw as on are turf," explained the wolf.

"Why have you walked on are turf?" asked the leader of the pack.

"I kept hearing howls that I guessed was my duaghters, so I was going to her pack," explained Balto.

"But you smell of dog?" exclaimed the leader.

"Yes, I am a dog, well half any why," said Balto.

"That is very interesting," said the leader," You may stay here for the night or longer, since it's getting dark and there might be a blizzard,the wolf that brought will stay with you as long as you are here, and my name is Tach i'm the leader of the pack."

" hope you can hunt," said the wolf.

" Can I have your name first?" asked Balto.

"I don't give my name to strangers!" growled the wolf.

"Oh, sorry, well my name is Balto," said Balto.

The wolf stopped and looked at Balto closly, and grinned after a while.  

I wonder why he was staring at me? thought Balto.

"Do you konw how to hunt." asked the wolf.

" A little bit," said Balto.

" Good becuase were going hunting with my sister," exclaimed the wolf.

Balto nodded and soon saw a black wolf with cream under fur came out of a den.

"You must be the wolf dog every body is talking about," sighed the she-wolf.

"Ya that's me, what is your name?" asked balto.

"No wolf will tell their name to you," laughed the she-wolf.

"Oh, well, thanks for the tip," sighed Balto," any way my name is Balto."

She looked at balto closly, just like her brother, and  grinned.

Why did they both stare at me like that? wondored Balto. 

"Well, ready to hunt?" asked Balto.

"YA!" howled the wolf and She-wolf.

"Hey, um, guys, can I give you nick names?" asked Balto.

"Ya," agreed the she-wolf.

"Fine with me,too," said the wolf.

Balto felt his ears prickle, he thought thought those words sounded familar.

"Ok can I call you Zack?" asked Balto looking at the wolf," and can I call you Lucy?"said Balto pionting to the she-wolf.

"Ya,that's a good name," said Lucy.

"Fine with me,too," sighed Zack.

"Het, Balto, do you have a mother and father?" asked Lucy.

"Well, my mother died and my father, well, I never new him," sighed Balto.

Zack and Lucy stared at eachother and then smiled.

"Oh,it's getting dark, we better head to the pack," said Zack.

"We all will share a den," said Lucy.

When they all got back to the pack Zack and Lucy showed Balto the den they all will share for a while.

"This den looks very familar," said Balto.

"We've lived here are whole lives," explained Zack.

" Really, WOW." said Balto.

" Hey if you gain my trust will you tell me your names?" asked Balto.

"Us, yes, are leader I don't now," sighed Lucy.

"I already now your leaders name it is Tach," said Balto proudly.

" You finding everything ok?"

Balto turned around to see Tach standing at the door way.

"Yes," said Balto.

"Good, I want all of you on my night hunt, if that's ok?" asked Tach.

"Fine with me," said lucy.

"Ya, me too," said Zack.

" Yup," said Balto.

That night Balto kept on hearing wolf howls, not that far away. He woke up in a flash when he heard the leader howl that morning.

"BALTO!"

"Uh, what?" asked balto.

" Another pack is attacking us, COME ON!!" yelled Zack.

 When they got to the border of the other pack, balto smelled a very familiar smell.

" What do you want!?" Balto heard Tach howl to the other leader in the other pack. He tried to see who that leader was, but he couldn't get one glance at the other leader.

" We're just passing through, and plus this isn't my whole pack," said the other leader.

Balto heard that voice before and new who it was.

"Alue?" asked Balto.

"Pap," said the she-wolf," what are you doing here?"

" You mean you know this leader?" asked Tach swinging his head towerds Balto.

'' Ya," said Balto.

"How?" asked tach.

Balto sighed,'' She is my daughter and if you want to get her then you have to go through me, and the White Wolf, Anui."

" You're not even close to the White Wolf," laughed Tach, and the whole pack.

"Yes, yes he is," howled Zack.

" What?!" said Balto surprised, because he didn't now that Zack knew.

"YA," Barked Lucy.

" What do you guys know," growled Tach.

"We know that because...." Lucy started to cry.

"BECAUSE!" growled tach.

"Because she's his mother and our mother, too," growled Zack.

Balto looked surprised and them and barked," PALO, BELLE!"

They both nodded.

"YA RIGHT," laughed every wolf in the pack, but not Alue's.

All of a  sudden a wolf appeard from no where.

"GRRRRRR, hurt my children, or  my grandchild and you are my dinner!!"

Tach's pack just stared in amazed! Then balto palo and Belle's mother disappeared.

"You mean you guys weren't joking around!" said Tach.

"NO!" yelled all three of them.

 Tey got to their  rightful pack, and settled down.

"i'm so glad you are still alive," said Balto.

" We just want to now how'd  you live all these years," asked Palo.

"Ya, you weren't even five weeks old when mother died," said Belle.

"Well a goose found me, and he took care of me, and I became a hero of nome. And now I have a wife and 2 litters of my children. I also have three homes," explained Balto.

"THREE!" yelled Belle.

"What are the homes?" asked Palo.

" On my boat, Jenna's, my wifes place, and mothers," explained Balto.

"With mom?" asked Belle.

"She's a spirit, the White Wolf, a nd she could be next to you watching from you above or up in the cliffs," explained Balto.

Balto finally met his long lost siblings, and later he figured who those howls where from, they were from his mother Anui, telling him to go in the woods and look for his siblings. He was very happy, he new every one in his family exept his father,( Later ing Father Found.)
