Prologue
After Balto and Aleu fled from the hunter and got back to the boat....
"I knew there was something wrong with me," Aleu cried, with a mix feeling of anger and sorrow.
"There is nothing wrong with you. You have a proud heritage," her father tried to comfort her.
"Oh, sure," Aleu growled staring into his father's eyes.
"Your mother is a purebred Husky...," Balto, suddenly, stuck, didn't know what to say next; another word from him may hurt his daughter for sure.
"Then what are you?" Aleu pressed him harder.
Knowing that he couldn't hold the truth form Aleu any longer, he finally said "I... I'm the one who's part wolf."
Aleu was totally shocked. How could her father have hidden this from her for all her life. "How could this happen?"
"Look, Aleu, my dad was a Husky who had pups with a wolf," Balto tried to explain.
"Great. My grandmother was a wild animal? Did the wolf teach you how to know when a human wants to kill you?" Aleu asked angrily.
"I was accidentally separated from her when I was young, so I... I never spent much time with... the wolf" Balto stopped for a while, then, he continued, before he continued on how he met Boris, and being raised by him.
"Why didn't you tell me this before?" Aleu asked. "Because...," Balto couldn't continue because he didn't know what to say, but he had to think... quickly to answered Aleu, so he said, "I wanted to protect you."
"Protect me? From what, from the fact that no human will ever want me because I'm part wild animal?" Aleu asked and turned away to the outside of the boat. "Aleu, I..." Before Balto could finish, Aleu spoke him, "And what about my brothers and sister? They've got wolf in them too. Why did humans want them?"
"Because they don't look it," Balto let out a sigh, "and you do," he continued, with a faked smile he forced himself to make.
"It's not fair. I hate you!" Aleu yelled at her father and jumped out of the boat, then she ran away... headed to Nome. "Aleu! Aleu, come back!" Balto shouted to call his daughter back. "Leave me alone!" Aleu shouted back and keep running deep into the town. She walked and walked through the streets of Nome, making her way to her mother's house; the truth that she'd heard didn't break her heart as deep and painful as the truth that her father had been lying to her for ages.
Chapter 1 : The Silver Object
Aleu was running into Nome, headed to her mother's house. Along the way, she saw a strange silver light shone out of one building there. She, immediately, changed her mind. She walked nearer and nearer to the light. "What's that thing?" Aleu thought as she saw the source of the light circle in that building. A few minutes later, Aleu was still staring at the silver object, seeing a forest inside, she said in confusion, "Strange! How can I see forest in that silver thing?"
"Who's there!? What are you doing here!?" someone growled from behind her, she turned back and saw a dog growling at her, "Kaon?" Aleu asked "Yeah, I'm Kaon. Who are you?" Kaon growled.
"Kaon! It's me, Aleu, your sister. I'm just...."
"You're just stepping into my way and walking into my human's house." Kaon interrupted.
"I'm not an invader! I come in the town to see mama, but I saw the silver light shining out of this house. I... I just want to know what is it. So I come in to see." after Aleu finished her sentence, her older brother called the other four dogs nearby to him. "Guys, we have a wolf in the town. What should we do with her?" Kaon asked them. "Why did you ask, Kaon?" said one of the dogs, "She's a wolf. So do to her like what we do to the other wolves in the town."
"Kaon. Why are you doing this to me? I'm Aleu, your sister," Aleu barked.
"Sister?" Kaon asked and let out a chuckle, "Saba is my only sister. I don't have a wolf as a sister."
"I think you've talked enough, Kaon. We have to deal with this wolf," one of the dog said.
"Alright, Aleu. If you want to know what's that silver thing...," before Kaon finished his sentence, he leapt at Aleu and threw her into the light, "Why shouldn't go into it." Almost at the same second, silver object suddenly disappeared. Kaon chuckled evilly, "Let's go guys," he said to his friends and walked out of the house.
Chapter 2 : Sotara.
"What's this? Where am I?" Aleu thought when she found herself in somewhere she didn't know. But when she looked around, she realized she was in the forest that she saw in the shining object.
"I have to find the way out of this place and go home," she thought. She began to walk out of the forest to find someone. But on her way in the forest, there was nothing but silence. A few minutes passed, Aleu had reached the plain, yet still nobody was there.
"Oh! What's this place?" Aleu asked in her mind. "Why can't I find anyone?" she felt alone. Suddenly, she saw somethings, they are a huge herd of huge creatures, running in her direction. Her instinct told her to run, but she just couldn't; she was just too shocked for it, while they keep running toward her. When she could regain her consciousness, the huge creatures herd were very close to her. Aleu quickly turned and ran, but they were much faster. "Am I going to die... here?" Aleu asked herself. Suddenly, before the herd could reached Aleu, something leapt out from somewhere, grabbed on her back, and turned a somersault out of the herd.
A strange human sized creature watched the herd gone and turned back to Aleu, "Whew! You've just survive from a stampeding herd of Plateosaurus, you could become pieces under their feet," he said friendly.
"Uh! Thank you for helping," Aleu said with shivered.
"Hey! Calm down. Let me know your name." the creature said. "I'm Aleu. I'm a...," Aleu stopped because she knew that the strange creature didn't know neither dog... nor wolf. "What are you?" asked the creature, Aleu didn't talk anything.
"Oh! Forget that. My name is Sotara, I'm a Herrerasaurus." the strange creature introduced himself, "You're new here, right?" he asked, Aleu nodded.
"Well, Sotara. If you didn't know me, so why did you helped me from that herd?" Aleu asked, Sotara let out a chuckle, "I help everyone who needs help," he said. "Now I'll get back to my cave. You wanna come with me?" he asked. "Okay. Thanks," Aleu said.
Sotara headed to his cave with Aleu on his back; then, he heard a sob. "Aleu? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" he asked. "Oh. No, nothing." Aleu tried not to tell Sotara anything. "That's impossible, Aleu. You're crying for no reason?" Sotara halted and said.
Aleu realized that there was no use to hide anything from Sotara, "Oh! It's about how I came here," she said.
"Well, how did you come here?" asked Sotara, doubtfully.
"I've been thrown in a strange silver circle," Aleu said, which made Sotara gave a confused expression, "A silver circle?" he asked.
"I knew you won't believe me. I don't know where it came from. I just... just want to know what it is...," Sotara could see tears in Aleu's eyes, "It's okay, Aleu. Maybe you can tell me later. Now let's go to the cave, you seem needing some rest," said Sotara.
Chapter 3 : Where is Aleu?
Next morning in Nome. Balto woke up and walked down from the boat. But when he got down, he saw a young female part-wolf walked to him, "Balto, right?" she asked. "Yeah. Who are you?" asked Balto. "My name is Glace. I'm a newcomer," Glace said. "So. What do you want?" Balto asked. "Uh... I have a news from last night. It's about your daughter," Glace said.
"Aleu? What's happened to her!?" Balto asked anxiously. "I saw her in the town last night," said Glace. Balto suddenly jumped out of the boat and ran to the town, "Balto! Wait!" Glace shouted but Balto couldn't hear her.
Jenna was sleeping, but she was woken by her calling mate's voice, "Balto! What are you doing here so early?" she asked with a smile at first, but when she saw her mate's face, she noticed there was something wrong, "Is Aleu all right?" she asked worriedly. Balto lowered his head and said, "I don't know. I was hoping she was with you. She's kinda mad at me." Jenna knew this conversation must took a long time, so she told Balto to stay there and came out of her house.
"Now tell me what happened," Jenna said. "A hunter took aim at her," said Balto. In shock, Jenna gasped out and about to say something; "No, no, don't worry. We got away. but I... I finally had to tell her how humans see her," said Balto. "You mean, you told her about being part...." Knowing what the next word was, Balto lowered his head and said, "Yes. We should have done it sooner. I know that now. She's so angry with me. She must have run away."
"Run away!?" Jenna asked in shock. "I'm sorry, Jenna. I never thought it would turn out this way. I thought I could keep her safe," Balto said. "But she's not safe now. She's running wild!" Jenna said anxiously, "We've got to find her."
"How can you two find her if she's disappear from Nome?" Balto and Jenna turned back and saw a gray part-wolf stood behind them.
"Glace? What are you doing here?" asked Balto. "I have something to tell you about Aleu's disappearance," Glace said.
"What do you know about this?" Balto asked. "Okay. Like what I've said, I saw her in the town last night," Glace said, "I thought she's a wolf, so I stalked her to see what did she do in the town," Glace said.
"Then, what happened?" Balto asked. "Then, I saw her walked in a house with a strange silver light...," Glace stopped for a while, before continued on her story, "Two things I wondered, first, what she was doing in that house; and the second, what that silver light was."
"Wait, Glace. I want you to tell me about Aleu, not the silver light," Balto growled.
"Okay, but it did have some relationship. I spied her from the outside of a house. Suddenly, there was a group of dogs walked into that house too...," Glace stopped with an anxious expression. "Glace? Is there anything wrong?" asked Balto.
"Your son, Kaon, I think he has something to do with Aleu's disapperance," Glace said. "How?" Balto asked.
"That silver light, it... it takes anyone who touches it to an unknown place.... And Kaon threw Aleu into it," Glace said. Balto let out a sigh, "I believe you. That really is Kaon," he said.
"Balto!" Jenna didn't believe her ears. "Jenna, you know how Kaon is, he hates wolves. It isn't a strange thing for him to do that," Balto said. "Oh! Balto," Jenna nuzzled him, "What should we do now?"
"Well, Glace. How can you know Aleu and Kaon are our daughter and son?" asked Balto.
"When I saw Kaon and his gang followed Aleu into a house. I eavesdropped them from outside. Then I heard Aleu said 'Kaon. Why are you doing this to me? I'm Aleu, your sister,'" Glace stopped for a while, "That's how I know their names, and that they're siblings. I asked the other dogs in Nome about part-wolf; they said you're the only half-wolf here. So that's how I know they're your son and daughter," said Glace.
Balto sighed out, "All right, Glace. Will you help us find Aleu?" asked Balto. "Of course I will" Glace said "But where?" she asked. "Somewhere in Alaska. Glace, you wait here. Jenna and I will call Kodi, Tongo, Dingo and Saba for more help," Balto said before he left.
Chapter 4 : A Problem With The Pack.
Next day in Triassic....
"Aleu, Aleu, wake up," Sotara woke Aleu up. "Huh? What? Why did you wake me up so early?" Aleu asked. "Early?" Sotara let out a chuckle. "Look outside, Aleu. This is noon already," he said. "Oh! Maybe I'm too tired yesterday," said Aleu. "Here, have something to eat," Sotara put a piece of meat on the ground of the cave.
After Aleu finished her meal, Sotara walked to her, "Aleu, I want to know something from you," he said. "About the silver object?" Aleu asked, "No, I don't want to know about that, but I want to know who threw you into it," said Sotara. Aleu drew a sigh and said, "My older brother, Kaon, threw me in the silver thing."
"Your brother!? Why did he do that?" Sotara asked. "Because I look like a wild animal," said Aleu. "Wild animal?" Sotara asked in confusion, because in Triassic, every creatures are wild animals. "Sotara, your world and mine are different; Kaon is not a wild animal, he was adopted by another creature called 'human.' Kaon always sees me as a wolf, and wolves as his enemies," said Aleu.
"Wolf is a name of a creature you looked like, right?" Sotara asked; Aleu nodded. "And he threw you in that silver thing because he thought you'd die in it, right?" asked Sotara. "Yeah," Aleu murmurred. "And you still calling him brother!?" Sotara asked with a little anger, Aleu nodded slowly. "It's okay Aleu. Now you have nothing to worry, with me, nothing can harm you," said Sotara
Suddenly, Sotara could smell someone in front of his cave, "Stay quiet, Aleu. There is a stranger," he said and walked to in front of the cave and saw a light-brown female Herrerasaurus stood there.
"Sotara, right?" a female asked as she saw Sotara. "You know I'm Sotara, so you know this is my cave," Sotara growled. "Yeah, and I also know you help everyone in need," said a female. "Who are you? What do you want from me?" asked Sotara. "I'm Nebbia. I'm here to tell you that, now, my pack is under attack of the Postosuchus," Nebbia said.
"Hey. Everyone know I'm a lone Herrerasaurus, so how can I go to where your pack live?" asked Sotara. "My pack leader is now calling for volunteers to join the pack, and tomorrow, he will have a pack meeting on midday. I believe you won't deny this, right?" Sotara just nodded slowly. "Oh! I almost forgot! The pack is about four miles away from here to the east.... Okay, I've finished my work here. Hope we'll see you tomorrow," Nebbia said before walked out of Sotara's cave. Sotara let out a sigh, "Finally," he thought.
"Is there something wrong outside, Sotara?" Aleu asked as she saw Sotara came back inside, Sotara decided to not tell Aleu about a meeting tomorrow, "Nothing Aleu, just a stranger.... Come on, today, I'll show you my world," he said.
That night, after the valley tour, Sotara and Aleu got back to the cave. "See you at sunrise Aleu," Sotara said from the front of the cave, "What about you?" asked Aleu. Sotara let out a chuckle, "I love to look at the moon alone. You need to rest Aleu, so take a rest, I'll see you inside," he said. "Okay, see you tomorrow," Aleu said and walked into the cave.
Sotara let out a sigh, "Oh.... What should I do now, if I go without telling her, she may go out and something dangerous might happen to her, but if I tell her, she must ask me to her go and... oh, what will the other Herrerasaurus in the pack do?" he thought. Then he shook his head quickly, "What was I thinking? Now my main thing to do is to protect Aleu, not my fame. All right, I'll tell her in the morning," he thought and walked into the cave.
Next morning, after Aleu woke up, Sotara walked to her, "Aleu, I have something to tell you," he said. "What is it, Sotara?" asked Aleu. "Today's midday, I have a pack meeting in the east of our cave, you have to wait in the cave until I come back," said Sotara. "But Sotara.... Can't I go with you?" Aleu asked. Sotara let out a sigh, "Aleu, I don't want something happen to you," he said. "Sotara.... With you, nothing can harm me, remember?" Aleu asked, Sotara let out a sigh again, "Okay Aleu, let's go," he said.
Four hours later, at about four miles away from Sotara's cave, Sotara and Aleu saw Nebbia walked to them, "Nebbia? What are you doing here?" Sotara asked. "I'm going to go to your cave to remind you about the meeting today, but now you've come, so let's...," Nebbia stopped when she saw Aleu on Sotara's back, "Sotara! What's that furry creature on your back!?" she asked in shock and a lot of confusion. "Oh! This is Aleu, she's my friend," Sotara said. "Well Aleu, welcome to Valley of the Moon, Sotara, most of the pack are in the meeting area, just a few left to wait, let's go," Nebbia said and lead the way to the meeting area.
As Sotara walked into the meeting area, he saw more than thirty Herrerasauruses in that area, and all of them were looking at him, "Here you come, Sotara, the greatest fighter in Valley of the Moon...," one of the Herrerasaurus said loudly, and stopped when he saw Aleu, "What's that furry thing on your back?" he asked. Sotara turned his head to Nebbia, "Who's that Herrerasaurus?" he asked silently. "Sotara, be polite to this one. He is our pack leader, Naga, he can do anything he want in the pack," said Nebbia, Sotara just nodded, turned his head back to Naga, "Uh... her name is Aleu, she's my friend," he said.
"Really," the leader asked, approched to take a closer look, "from the way she rides you, you, two, look more like...," he moved even closer, enough for him to get his last words right into Sotara's ear, "mates."
With a low growl of Sotara, Naga backed off, yet he didn't stop making fun of him, "Now tell me Sotara, Do you and that furry creature already have babies. And do your children hatch from their eggs or right out of their mammalian mom like other milk-suckers do?" Laughter bursted off as Naga was saying. Yet, Nebbia, who invited Sotara at first, didn't even show a sign of pleasure; "Naga," she called the pack leader, hoping that her sound would make him know what he was doing; but it didn't work.
All Naga did was continuing, "Didn't your parents taught you about befriending with animals from other species?" He paused for a short while, "Oh! Silly me, I forget that your parents didn't have a chance to even see your face. As much as I know, their fighting must be very awful. Just one blow from that Postosuchus sent them to heaven, didn't it?"
"Naga, stop it," another trial from Nebbia, but again, it'd gone futile.
"So, this is why you all want me here? To make fun of me and my parents? I've had enough. Go find help elsewhere. If I stay here any longer, your leader may not leave this place breathing," Sotara roared, stomping his way back to his cave.
Chapter 5 : Sotara's past.
"Sotara? Are you all right?" Aleu asked Sotara silently after they arrived their cave, "Yeah, I'm all right. I'm sorry I roared in the meeting, but I'm okay now, everything is all right," said Sotara. "So..., can you tell me something?" asked Aleu. "What is it?" Sotara asked. "Can you tell me about your past?" asked Aleu.
Sotara let out a sigh, "Two years ago, at the base of the highest mountain in Valley of the Moon. There was a large Herrerasaurus pack, living on a nesting groud full of vegetation and food, they all lived in peace. Until one day, a huge pack of Postosuchus named 'Fogo' had planned to rule over Valley of the Moon, he would start on the largest pack, and that, that Herrerasaurus pack is the one. Hiding in the shadow of the dark, the large war that no one could imagine begun. There was nothing more but chaos. Hundreds of Herrerasaurus died in thier shelter, no one in the pack had survived, left only an egg."
By this point, Aleu could see tears welling up in Sotara's eyes, "Sotara, are you crying? You can stop the story if you want."
"No, Aleu, I'm fine," he said before continuing his tale, "The baby hatched out in the piles of corpse, he cried for food but no one answered, it took some days for such a young Herrerasaurus to realize that he had nobody left to take care of him. Driven by hunger, he began his journey around the valley, all alone. A few days later, the story of the war spreaded throughout the valley. Since that moment, the only thing in the baby's mind was revenge. He swore to kill the Postosuchus that massacred. He named himself 'Sotara' and tried everything he could to get his fighting skills invincible, but without a good pack, he could never do anything to the Postosuchus. So he started spending his life helping other creatures. until today, he is still living like this." "I'm so sorry about your past, Sotara," Aleu said, "Nah, forget it," said Sotara.
"What about Naga in two years ago?" asked Aleu, "He was a yearling Herrerasaurus in another pack. He didn't know anything about that war, until everyone in the valley talked about this. And a year later, after I have learned most of the fighting skills, I was known in the name of 'The greatest fighter in Valley of the Moon'. Naga's younger brother, Platinum was quite jealous. So he challenged me for a duel...," Sotara stopped for a while, "And you won?" Aleu asked, "Yes, I won. I know his weakness as I know how he fight, he was careless about dodging, blocking any of my attack, that's make him lost...," Sotara stopped again with an anxious face, "Is there something wrong, Sotara?" asked Aleu, "Yes, there is. A problem is, Platinum knows where I live, so you must be aware of him. He may not good at defensive, but he is still a great one, though," Sotara said. "Don't worry about me, Sotara. I can take care of myself," Aleu said. "I'm glad to hear that. I'll go to the lake behind the cave, wait here, I'll be back soon," Sotara said and walked out of the cave.
Two minutes later. Aleu, who waited in the cave could see a grey Herrerasaurus walked toward her, "Where is Sotara?" the Herrerasaurus asked, Aleu took a step back, "Wh-What do you want?" she asked, "I've got Naga's order to take him back to the pack... now!" a grey Herrerasaurus said, Aleu took an another step back, "Why? He can't force Sotara to join his pack," said Aleu, a Herrerasaurus walked around her in circle, "I know he can't, if he can, Sotara will never get out of the meeting area. But I can, and I will force him to go back to the pack. Get out of my way!" he said, Aleu growled, "What? I said get out of my way. Or do you want to hurt?" a Herrerasaurus asked and stand on guard, prepared to kill. "You want to fight me, not her, Platinum." Sotara said from the front of the cave, "Sotara," Platinum said and ran to Sotara, and a fight of the two greatest Herrerasaurus began again.
Chapter 6 : Time for revenge.
Ten minutes later, Platinum leaped at Sotara throat, but Sotara dodged his attack and striked Platinum with his head. Platinum got up and bit on Sotara's back, and he threw Sotara to the cave wall, Platinum walked to Sotara, "This time, I will finish you, Sotara," he said. Sotara quickly got up and bit on Platinum's throat and threw him to the cave entrance, "Get out of here!" Sotara roared, and Platinum slowly walked out of the cave.
Back to Nome, Balto began to tire of finding his daughter, "Balto, this is the third day you find Aleu without a rest, I think you should...," Glace said. "No Glace, I'll not stop until I could find her," Balto said, Glace let out a sigh, "Well, I know you would say that. I've found someone who can decrease the strangeness of this silver thing, or maybe he would help us find Aleu. All right, you can come out," she said, and a light brown wolf walked out of a little corner of the town, "What's this, Glace?" asked Balto, "Balto, this is Topaz, he is the another one who saw a silver hole, and Topaz, this is Balto, his daughter disappeared in a silver hole, please tell him about what happened in your cave last night," said Glace, "Well, last night, I was going to sleep. But suddenly, there was a strange silver object appeared in front of me. I was afraid that it might be dangerous to me, so I ran to Nome to find someone who can help me on this. And when I arrived the town, I saw Glace stood there alone, so I asked her about the silver thing, and lucky for me, she knew the silver hole, and as she knew that I saw it too, she asked me to talk to you and see if I can help," Topaz told Balto about the silver thing. "So, will you help?" asked Balto, "Oh! Yes, I will help you find your daughter," Topaz said. "Thanks, Topaz. But you can't help me here," Balto said, "Why?" asked Topaz, "Because there is a group of dogs in the town. They can and will kill you if you are seen in the town," said Balto, "Okay. So, if I can find anything new, I'll try to tell you," Topaz said before he walked back to the forest.
"Platinum?" Naga asked as Platinum returned to the pack, "Hey! What happened to you, brother. Where are these injuries come from?" he asked, Platinum lowered his head, "Sotara," he said in anger, "You fight him, again?" asked Naga, Platinum nodded. "Don't worry, brother. I know how to take a revenge on him. Just do what I said. Tonight, we'll start the first step...," said Naga
That night, Platinum came to Sotara's cave again and walked to the room that Aleu was, she was asleep, "How easy," Platinum thought and bit on Aleu's throat, without any voice came out, she was hit hard on the ground and that made her become unconscious, and Platinum carried her out of the cave.
In the next morning, Sotara woke up and going to go to Aleu's room. "Sotara! Sotara!" before he could go to there, someone from outside called him. "Nebbia? What are you doing here?" as Sotara walked out and saw a female stood there. "Sotara...," Nebbia said with an uneasy face. "What's wrong Nebbia? Can I help you?" asked Sotara, "No, Sotara. I don't need your help. But Aleu is in trouble now," Nebbia said. "What!?" Sotara asked in shock as he heard Nebbia's word, "What happened to her Nebbia!? Tell me what happened!? Sotara asked in anger. "Don't be hasty, Sotara. Listen. Last night, Platinum came here and took Aleu to the pack. And he said he would kill her if you...," before Nebbia could finished, Sotara calmly said, "We don't have time to talk, Nebbia. Let's go," and they two ran to Naga's pack....
About two hours later, Sotara and Nebbia arrived the pack location. But too late for them, most of the Herrerasaurus, including Naga, were killed with a dreadful injuries. Sotara looked around for the survivors. And then, he saw one, "Platinum!" he said loudly and ran to a survivor, and lie down beside him. "Platinum, Platinum, tell me what happened," said Sotara. "Fogo," Platinum let out a short word. "Fogo," Sotara said silently, but in anger, "Where is Aleu?" he asked
"Fogo had just take Aleu away," said Platinum. "How could I go to where Fogo lives!?" Sotara asked with a little anger. "You just go to the south of here, you'll see a mountain there, climb the mountain and you'll see Fogo's cave. He lives there with some of his subordinates," said Platinum.
Sotara got up from the ground, "Nebbia. I want you to find a safety place for Platinum to live until he's okay," he said and quickly ran to the south. "Wh...what about you?" Nebbia shouted. "I'll go to Fogo's cave and bring Aleu back," Sotara shouted back, "Sotara! Wait!" Nebbia shouted, but too late, Sotara was too far to hear her.
Nebbia let out a sigh, "I'm so worry about him, Platinum. There are a hundred of Postosuchus there, Sotara couldn't...," said she. "Don't worry, Nebbia. There are just a few Postosuchus there, the other live in the other places.... But you can leave me here and go help him," Platinum interrupted, Nebbia stared at him, "It's okay, Nebbia. Sotara is a good Herrerasaurus, he must live on. Just leave me, I'll be okay," Platinum said. "No, Platinum. I can't leave you here alone.... Come on. My friend, Sorra live in the cave, not far from here, I'll leave you with her," said Nebbia.
Aleu woke up, and she found herself in an unfamiliar place, "What's happened? Where am I?" she asked in her mind. "Aleu, Aleu," someone called her silently, she turned to where the voice came, "Sotara!" she said happily, "Shh... Aleu. We're in the Postosuchus' cave," said Sotara.
"Yes! You're in my cave, the Postosuchus' cave. And you may not go out, alive," the another creature said from the inside of the cave. Sotara snarled, "Fogo," he said angrily. "Well. You know me, and you are the only Herrerasaurus here. Did you know what happened to the largest Herrerasaurus pack in two years ago...," Fogo said and chuckled evilly. Sotara roared out loudly, "How couldn't I know!?" he asked in anger, "Hundreds of Herrerasaurus died that day...," he said, "But you know, Fogo? One Herrerasaurus in the pack had survived, that's me, Sotara, the greatest Herrerasaurus in Valley of the Moon. And today is the time for revenge!" Sotara said and leaped to Fogo, but he was hitted by Fogo's tail before he could reach Fogo.
"I don't believe it. Is this a greatest....?" Fogo chuckled, "You're not my match. My followers, kill it," said Fogo. Sotara got up from the ground and let out a chuckle, "Look outside, Fogo. All of your followers were killed. And you'll be the next one, Fogo," he said and ran to Fogo. Fogo laughed out loudly, "Do you really think that you can kill me as easily as my followers?" he said and bit on Sotara's back and threw him away.
Sotara got up, growled and leaped to Fogo again, and he bit on Fogo's face, and made it covered with blood. Fogo pulled his face out from Sotara's mouth and used his head crushed on Sotara's body. Sotara just lay there and said, "You're right, Fogo. You're not so easy to kill. But that doesn't mean I can't kill you," and he suddenly got up and bit on Fogo's throat. Fogo snarled and rolled on the ground, and that made Sotara lose the grip him. Fogo used that moment bit on Sotara's body. Sotara roared out and bit on Fogo's throat again. Fogo roared out loudly and tried to turn his head to bite Sotara again. But before he could do that, Sotara twisted his neck. Without any roar, Fogo suddenly stopped breathing and collapsed to the ground. Sotara got his mouth off Fogo, "It's over, Aleu. Let's go home," he said.
"Sotara!" a dark brown Herrerasaurus called him from outside of the cave, "Nebbia? What are you doing here? Where's Platinum?" Sotara asked. "I took him to my friend, Sorra. She promised to take care of Platinum," said Nebbia. Sotara nodded, and in the next moment, he asked, "But what about you? Your pack had been destroyed.... Oh, Nebbia, you can stay with us in my cave, you're welcomed there. What do you think?" Nebbia smiled and said, "Okay, I'll live there. Thank you, Sotara." with a mixture of happiness and sadness, a tear rolled out from her eyes and she nuzzled Sotara. "Shh, shh..., calm Nebbia," as he said, he nuzzled Nebbia to stop her tears.
Few seconds later, Sotara and Nebbia let out each other, "You feel better?" Sotara asked, "Yes, Sotara.... Thank you," said Nebbia. "So, Aleu. Let's go home," Sotara said and they all headed back to the cave.
