It was summertime in Nome, Alaska. There was a soccer match between Kodi's team and Dusty's team. Yes, Dusty's is the rival team of Kodi's

"Go, Kodi! Go, Dusty!" said Kaltag. "Can't let you do that, Kodi." said Dusty. Her eyes were like coals. Another rival soccer player kicked the ball so hard and Kodi and Dusty fighted over the ball! Nikki, a forerunner of Kodi's team, tries to catch it. "It's Mine! It's Mine!" said Nikki. "Dusty has ordered us to take you down." Kirby said angrily to Nikki. Nikki collapsed onto the grass. "I got it!" shouted the cunning fox. But her rival, Jack Taggert (a wolf), caught it. He made a shot at the goalie of Kodi's team named Ryan and it went into the net. Kodi's team loses. It made the players sad. "Kodi's team, zero! Dusty's team, 14! Game Over!" said Kaltag. Kodi frowned so sadly and started to sob. The rest of Kodi's team shook hands with their rivals, but they look sad. The cunning fox tucked her tail. She shook hands with her rival. "Nice try, girl." said Jack Taggert.

"I'm terribly sorry, Kodi. It's not my fault I made fun of you." said Dusty. "It's OK. What did you do?" asked Kodi, sadly. "I accidentally stole a new game for my XBOX 360." said Dusty. Sirens wailed in distance. Police cars arrived at the soccer field. Wolves dressed in police uniforms blurted out of the cars and came to arrest Kodi's rival, Dusty, for stealing the game for her XBOX 360 because she fought she wouldn't by it because she would save her money for that. "See you when you get out of jail!" said Kodi. "I promise!" shouted Dusty. "And remember this...I am your rival, Kodi!" she said.  She was taken away to jail as her punishment from stealing a video game.

"Kodi! How was the game?" asked Balto. "Terrible." said Kodi. "What happened?" asked Jenna. "We lost the game. I think Dusty now hates me." said Kodi, sadly. "Why? Is she mean to you?" asked Balto. "I don't care. She'll be fine." said Kodi.

"Kodi's team has lost the game! Kodi's team has lost the game! Ha ha! Boo hoo!" taunted Dingo.

"Dingo! That's imitative behavior!" said Kodi.

Dingo fidgeted with his glasses. "Some day he's gonna win that
championship. Don't make me laugh." said Dingo.

"All right, guys, I guess..." said Balto. There was a big shadow. What was that shadow from? It was a blimp that covered the sun. Kodi's family drove home in the car. "You know, Balto, I don't really feel like cooking tonight." said Jenna. "You don't have to cook, We'll get in the boat and get some hamburgers." said Balto. "Guess what, Kodi's got a rival that she now hates you!" taunted Dingo. "Shut up, you dehydrated pizza face!" said Kodi.

"Dad, he's knuckling me!" said Dingo. "Kodi! Just stop provoking your brother, please!" said Balto. "But, Dad!" said Kodi. "No, really! That's the last I wanna hear from both of you, Now give us a break!" shouted Balto. "I can't believe this..." sighed Kodi. The car passed by house with teenagers running around, screaming and playing with the fireworks. "Dad, can I play at Johnny's?" asked Dingo. "Yeah, I guess so, just look out for the fireworks." said Balto. "Make sure you be back before dark." said Jenna. Dingo snatched the water gun. "Gimme that!" said Dingo. "Weasel!" shouted Kodi. "Scuzz-bucket!" taunted Dingo. He moved his rear at Kodi as the car leaved. "You'll never see your fourteenth birthday, I promise!" shouted Kodi.

The car arrives home at last. "I wish you two would try to get along." said Jenna.  "He's a jerk." said Kodi. "Ah, come on, it's just a phase. He'll grow out of it." said Balto. "If he lives that long.." said Kodi. "Is that any way to
talk about your brother?" asked Balto. "No, I guess not." said Kodi.  "Just try and remember you're the oldest, all right?" asked Jenna. "All right, all right..." groaned Kodi. A wolf in wearing a yellow shirt and swim trunks jogged by Kodi. It was Kodi's adversary, Lupus. "Hi, Kodi." said Lupus. "Hi, Lupus." said Kodi.

In the living room, Balto and Jenna were  watching a baseball game on TV. "Hey, think fast!" said Jenna, holding out her best glove she wore when she played softball. Kodi looked into the refrigerator, looking for something to eat. "Honey, stay out of the refrigerator, We're going out to dinner soon." said Jenna. "Don't worry, I'll be hungry." said Kodi. "Do you know how to open these?" asked Balto, holding a can of root beer. "Yes, Balto." said Jenna. "Thank you." said Balto

Vanilla Ice: (playing over boom box) And I won't stop until I start, stand out..

"Kodi?" asked Balto. "Dad?" asked Kodi. "Aren't you gonna watch the game?" asked Balto. "I was just watching the boats." said Kodi. "Oh, Yeah?" asked Balto. "Oh." said Kodi.

"So, Dusty is your rival." said Balto. "Well, dad. Our team lost the game to Dusty's. Now she really hates me." said Kodi. "Well, that's what the rivalry's for." said Balto. "How do you know?" asked Kodi. "When I had a rivalry with Niju, I promised I told him we has corrupt." said Balto. "But that's impossible!" said Kodi. "Well, you just have to try to strike up a conversation. If you're gonna to swim, you just gotta jump in the water." said Balto. "Then Dusty wouldn't worry about me. She will never hate me ever again. I don't want end up as firece enemies and rivals." said Kodi. "Kodi?" asked Jenna. "Yeah, mom?" asked Kodi. "Don't forget to feed Burger." said Jenna. "Aww, man!" said Kodi.
