Steele looked at the starry night. The stars looked almost just the stars that he saw the day that he got adopted. He use to be so in touch with his family. But than one day, everything just fell a part. Just because his family had found out that his oldest brother, Serge, was killed by wolves. Steeles still has the old time sin his head, wishing that they would go back to normal...
Steele loved his father, who looked just like him, but with green eyes. He always spent hours with him raceing each other and learning everything that made his father the best. He knew his father better than anyone, besides his mother. His father was kind a sweet, but when something happened that he really didn't like he would flip out. Usually he would take it out on the old punching bag his owner had. Steele loved the way his father, Buck, attacked the punching bag. To him it looked like he was running into the wall.
His mother, also black and white, with blue eyes was always put and about. His mother usually just spent time with his sister and older brother. Her owner was always takeing them out to town. Steele never knew why until he asked his cool older brother, who was a year old than him. He had said that they went to shows. Nancy, his mother, never came to see. She only came when she wanted to see his father, or to pick up one of the pups. He still loved his mother, even though she was out a lot.
His older brother, who was a year older than him, was also a show dog. He was black and white with blue eyes also. He was a very strong dog, but he was also kind of lazy, so he didn't make a very good sled dog. He was a cool older brother, his name was Higan. Higan always shared his secrets about getting girls, which Steele never paid much attention to it. Still Steele loved his older brother. When his father wasn't around or in the mood to play, Higan would get off his lazy butt and play with him.
Next is his younger brother, his name was Cliff. He was more white than black, and he also had forest green eyes. He was an okay brother, but Steele didn't much cared for him. He was more of a baby, even babyer than his little sister. Cliff was always an outsider. He always snuck out to the woods and play with the butterflies and chase rabbits. Cliff even said to Steele that he had met a wolf in the woods and made friends with it. Steele just told him that he was dreaming and he just thought that he saw that. Even his parents told him that. His father didn't really care for Cliff either, but he still trained him as a sled dog since he wanted him to at least have a good career even though he thought that his own pup was a little crazy.
Next was is little sister, who was pretty much like a shadow of his mother. She was mostly black than white though, and she also had blue eyes. Both of Steeles parents adored her. His father adored her because she was his only daughter. Buck spoiled her silly, which was funny because Steele always calls her silly since her name is Sillia. Sillia never did like Steele, she always snap at him and told him that her name was Sissy. Steele never liked her because she was too flirty, and always played on guys and he knew that she never ment to stay with any of them.
Steele was also best friends with Jenna back than. They told everything about eachother. They had never kept any secrets from each other. Steele was always welcomed at her house than, and she had never rejected him. How many times had he wished that he could just go back than when he was always so happy.
What makes you think that you have to have a bad life to be a bad guy? There was only one thing bad that happened to Steele to make him mad. His brother, Higan and the wolves. All he heard was what his Higans friend had saw when he went to run with him in the woods.
"When we were past the big lake that always has ducks around it we heard something. Cliff said that we should stop, but I said that that was probably one of us snapping the twig. I thought that he wouldn't believe me so I just kept on running, and to my surprise he followed me, but I could his eyes roaming the woods. I didn't want to stop so I still kept running, than all of a sudden wolves started to attack us. I was so surprised how strong they were, but they weren't as fast as I was, so I out ran them. I hid in some mudd and they didn't notice me. I thought I was dreaming when I saw Higan fighting, and he killed a lot of the wolves. I thought he was going to win, but than he got slit in the throught. I was surprised. I wished I had enough courage to get him and tell him to run. After about a day I had left and followed are sent back home...."
Since than his family had been hateing everything. They never trusted anyone, not even their own owners. His father wouldn't let him go play with his friends. He would only let him play with his siblings, which he didn't like that much. Steele never thought that his brother was dead. Higan had told him that he was training with some of the wolves in the pack he had found. Still doesn't hate the wolves for killing his brother, he hates them for takeing his life away. The one that he had liked so much, but his parents had told him to leave that all behind.
Steele looked at the sky. The moon was nice and round. He smiled at it. He was so glad that he was away from that life and now he could make his own choices.
