"How did you figrue it out"? Dokota asked.

"Its obvisis. Your not even our size"!

"You wont tell would you"?

"No, but why did you do it"?I demanded. Dokota told me a horrible story of her life with her human and how he abandoned her. How she left to find food and shelter. How bad her loney days were in the forest.

"Do think everyone else will figrue out? Will they treat me the same"? Dokota finnished, her eyes became huge with fright.

"Well, it s easy to tell but-".

"But what"? Dokota gasped.

"I have the best eye in the pack".

"Really ? Because I would think-" Dokota stopped."Nevermind".

 I looked down at my paws she should know the truth. I know hers it will only be right. But I dont even know her. Plus, what if she tells? Then I`ll have no where to go. Im not telling her.

"Were born with one blind eye"? The dog asked.

"Oh, yeah. It runs through my family. But am used to it. Its no big deal. So you dont need to worry about it."

"Im I going to  learn how hunt by the best  hunter in the pack or what"?

"Of course".

"Lower". One-eye whispered.

    I sank lower behind the tall grass and trees. The wind blew in my face making the smell of deer overpower all my senses.

"Forward". One-eye moved her legs forward but she stayed as low as possiable. I copyed her."And go". The black wolf leaped up and bolted to the deer. I followed slower, not sure what to do. She leap, but I saw it in slo-mo. Her hindquarters buched up and sprang. Luanching into the air. She bared her teeth opened her mouth, ready for the kill. Slowing she landed on the old deer. The fell on the ground screaming way deers do. I ran up to way.

"Helhp meh tahk this homth". One-eye siad though her mouth fill with deer. I nodded.I grabbed a piece of it and helped drag. It was way heavier than espected.

  Finally we got it home.

"What? Great double deer today. What happened to moose hunting? Or dessert, like rabbit or a bird  or   squirrels? Or you could of gone fishing? Of course not!" Sunshine accused.

"Sunshine loves variadey, with her food". One-eye whispered though the side of her mouth.

"You know how to fish? And catch birds? How"?

"You learn more thing as you go along. Thunder will teach you fighting and somethings Pine willl. Oh and Sky will teach you healing".

" What is healing"? I asked.

"You`ll learn".

"Ok time to eat"! Sky called.

"Yay"! The young adult betas hollered. Pine and Sky ripped off the two front legs of the deer and walked away. Then Sunshine ripped a hind leg , Thunder got part of the stomach and Bear got the last leg.

"Now we eat the leftovers". One-eye whispered before she shoved her face in the deer. I slowly  bit off a piece of the deer. The deer is soo much better than kibble. 

     Soon it became dark. The sun set and we all went to sleep.

  But I didnt go to sleep. I went out the den and into the open.  I walked itno the  froest. I walked in the froest for a while then I saw the river. I looked around. No one was in sight. I slid into water. The river was freezeing and the curret pulled my fur the wrong way. I swam though the river and into the other side. I crawled out of the water. I shook trying to remove the water. Here I was. Inside of Berry`s territory. I cant believe it. I was so loyal to the Pine pack, now, here is was inside the stomping grounds of Berrys pack. I rolled over on the ground doing roll overs and rubbing my face aganist the dirt trying to get their smell.

"Whos there"? Barked a male voice. I stood still ,behind a bush.Trying to stop beathing as loud.

"I know your there so show yourself"!!!

"Diamond". I whispered

"What? Who"?

I rolled my good eye."Diamond". I repeated

"Diamond". The wolf whispered. "DIAMOND!The Diamond"!

  I crawled out of the bush."Yes". I sighed. I saw who I was looking at. He was exteremly tall, his fur was black besides a tuff of brown fur on his chest and tail. His eyes where bright blue and his lips were curled up in a snarl.

 "Surround her Fang and Leaf. Make sure she doesnt move. I`ll get Berry and Tulip. Stay here". Suddenly Two wolves appeared from the brush. They circled me and the tall wolf dashed off.

"Diamond", the smaller grey wolf whisper-hissed. "Its been sooo long, do you remember me"?

"Ya Diamond! What about me! Do you know me! You should"! This wolf has be white becuase hes fur shined from the moonlight. His or Hers voice was kind of low rough so he must of been a male.

  I stayed quiet. They stayed quiet. I started to feel guilty. I beterayed the Pine pack`s trust. And for what? Being trapped by two young wolves. They growled and circled closer to me. Soon they were a wolf`s head length  away from me. Then I heard around three wolves running. They appeared. Berry came first. Second was a female that was the color of fall leaves. And thrid was the Tall wolf.

 "Diamond you came back". Berry said argryly.

"I didn`t come back.........." I started

"Dont lie"! The autumn colored wolf cried.

 The growled a extremly low growl.

"Im not lying! Im just-"

"Dont lie!" The female snarled.

"Listen to me! I just here to see Berry".

"You just cant come and see Berry! You are exlied! Exlie means you must leave and never come back! Your not welcome!' The female yelled. "YOU SHOULD BE GONE! HE CHOSE ME! ME! We already have a family. SO ITS TOO LATE! Go away, away. AWAY!!" Then I understand. Since Berry needed a wife he chose the next best. Tulip, the wolf that had the most jelousy issues. And if what she said was true I was here for no reason. What was I thinging that he found someone else. Im so stupid.I lowed my head. With my good eye i peeked at Berry. He was glaring at me.

"You know what to do, Twig". The tall wolf, Twig lunged at me.

  I woke up. But my eyes stayed close. I willed them to open. They didnt. I must be really tried. I tried again. Nothing.

"Dokota! Dokota! Wheres One-eye!!!" Sunshined cried.

  My eyes flew open. "One-Eye" I murmered.

"Get  up"! Bear pushed me with hes paw.

 I got up. " I dont know where she could of gone. She went to sleep with all of us."

Then I heard a scream. It was the horriable scream I ever heard. "What was that" ! Sunshine cried.

 Pine and Sky ran in."Wheres One-eye". Sky demaned.

Thunder ran into the cave. "I followed he scent to the river". Thunder panted.

 Everyone gasped. "What"? I asked.

"The river is a border between our and Berrys pack." Thunder explained.

"What wrong with that"?

 Pine gave me a wierd glance." Going into any other packs territorty is bad, but  Berry is our emeny"!

"Oh I guess thats really bad".

 Then everyone gave me a wierd glance. Then I heard the scream again.

"Lets go". Pine started to walk out of the cave. " Lets get One-Eye".
