Sorry it took so long. Again this belongs to  Ritsuka.

 The pack has a new leader but will the leader fit the job?

Matsuko  and Kaji's new life together. Kaji's past returns to haunt him.

Three months passed from the day Matsuko found her soul mate as well as Galent. Both were very happy.

 But there was something that was still a thorn on Matsuko's and Galent's side.

Ackrome.

Since she was made Alpha the pack was somewhat disorganized. Since she is very young and reckless she tends to cause more harm than good for the pack.

The months weren't good for the pack.

The food supply was getting low and the pack was starving.

Galent and Matsuko saw this and felt alittle guilty for not noticeing before.

Kaji still looked after Venice.

 Shaston was busy hunting while the siblings looked at how the pack fought for what little food they had left.

They knew what needed to be done but.......

"We got to do something!" Matsuko said finally fed up .

"Do what?! She's loasy leader but what can we do?" said Galent.

"I don't know! But we better do it fast because the pack's dying out!" Matsuko yelled.

Galent felt her fustration but he knew little what to do?

"I gonna have a word with our so-called-leader!" she shouted runing towards Ackrome's den.

"Mat! Are you insane!? Ackrome is not a good leader but that's not-"

"I'll meet you Later Galent! Tell Kaji I'll be back soon!" Matsuko said as she ran off.

Galent was not going to be left out this time!

"Oh no you don't!! I'm coming too!" he shouted as he followed her.

Ackrome was sleeping inside with the den filled with bones picked clean of meat. Ackrome grew only due to the most of the food ,that was supposed to be for the pack,being in her belly. She slepted peacfully with no regret or sense of responsablity.

Two guards were at the opening of the den. In truth thery were goofing off. Since stablity has gone down everyone basicly does nothing.

Galent  and Matsuko snuck in without even trying.

"ACKROME!!" a voice echoed through the den

The echoed eventually reaching Ackrome's ears waking her.

"Who dares to wake me up?! Do you know what time it is?" she looked at Matsuko annoyed.

"Its three hours before sunset! You slepted the day away as usual!!" Matsuko shouted.

  "Oh. Little Mat and her pestering brother. What do you want?" she demanded.

"I want you to get off your lazy butt and actually lead this clan!!!!!!" Matsuko said inches away fron Ackrome's face.

Galent was coming from behind.

"Mat! what are you-"

"I want alittle alone time with your sister Galent.......Leave! now!!" she said to him.

He growled but obeyed her.

Matsuko turned.

"Galent Wait!" she shouted but Ackrome shouted dead in her ear.

"PAY ATTENTION MAT!!" she shouted.

Matsuko's right ear started to ring. She shook her head to focus.

"I would expect someone as low as you would say something like that. You don't understand the hardships of my heavey berdens." Ackrome calmy said.

"Hardships?! You eat the packs portions of the food until your fat and you sleep all day!! The pack is dying out there aren't you going to do something!?!?" Matsuko was losing her temper fast!

"Hmp! Its not so hard being a lacky like you. I was I could take a break. This job is way too hard!" Ackrome whined.

  Then Matsuko got an idea.

"Yep. If only you had the power to switch places with someone permanatly so you can have fun all you want while the other is stuck with your boring hard job for life." Matsuko said sarcasticly to send the message to her.

"That's it!! I'll trade with you! The clan has now has been given to you be the heir and you can't do anything about it!!I Its yours for life!! I'll have the life of freedom while you're trapped with my job! HaHA!! Moran!!!" Ackrome yelled as she basicly danced out of the den.

"Sucker!" thought Matsuko. Ackrome wasn't smart so it was eaisy tricking her out of her rightful place as Alpha. She didn't felt bad. Compaired to her mother's way of handling things it was the best thing for the pack!

"MAT!" It was Garent. He ran towards Matsuko.

"What? What's wrong?" she asked.

"I should ask that. Ackrome just ran passed me. Smiling. It was kind of weird. What did you do?" He asked.

"I'm the alpha now." she simply said.

  Galent tilted his head and raised an eyebrow.

"Just wait for sunset. You'll see." she said smiling.

"Huh?" Galent thought.

"Come on! Kaji and Shaston will be waiting for us." she said walking.

He didn't question it as he followed.

The deer kept getting smaller in game and the hunters are getting lazy. They both knew if something doesn't happen soon the pack's doomed.

"I can't believe the game of deer are so little now. This can barley feed the pack....." said Shaston carring what little meat they had.

"I know but its a start. The pack needs something." Kaji said.

"It needs a new leader that's what it needs!!" Shaston said irritated.

"I wish." he said snickering as he thought about the sleeping Ackrome.

"KAJI!!!!"

Kaji looked ahead seeing Matsuko dashing towards him with Galent barley keeping up.

Masuko tackled Kaji to the ground licking his face.

Galent nuzzled Shaston.

"Its good to see you too blossem. What's with the kisses? Not that I don't like it..." he asked.

"You'll see!" she said.

"Huh?" he said tilting his head.

"She thinks that she's the new alpha." Galent said.

"Alpha?" asked Shaston.

HOWL!

"Its Ackrome." said Kaji. Matsuko only smiled.

The group ran towards the direction of the howl.

All the members were gathered in the middle of the barren fields.

Ackrome was in the middle with the smile still on her face as if someone said she controlled the power of the sun.

"My fellow members! I called this meeting to annouce that I will no longer be alpha! I the heiress to the pack decine the right to be alpha. The new alpha of the Razor Wind Altic Mafia is MATSUKO!!"

 She lifted her paw and pointed at Matsuko's direction.

 All eyes stared at Matsuko."WHAT?!" "WHAT DOES SHE MEAN?!"  "YAY!"  "FINNALLY!!"   "ANYONE IS BETTER THAN ACKROME!"  "I'LL SAY!"

Many voices spoke up in anger or happiness that the reign of Ackrome was over.......

 But before she could speak Ackrome walked towards her and said "I trust the pack to you. Take of it." She said with her head held high like this was her idea.

 She whispered to her  "Thanks for the idea loser." 

Ackrome turned. Matsuko snuck in a smile as she left. "She'll never learn." She thought.  

One of the wolves spoke up.

"What will you do now?" he asked her. 

She stopped in her tracks.

Matsuko giggled.

She knew that Ackrome didn't think that far ahead yet. "I....uh...decided to...."

She thought about for a minate.

"I will become one of the pack just not the alpha. I was sad that I saw all of you work so hard so I figured that I could help you more being the help." She cleverly deviced explaination. 

They cheered mostly because they just wanted her to stop leading, even though she never really did in the first place.

"Long live Masuko!!! Our new alpha!!" they cheered. Matsuko said. "I'll be proud to be you alpha." she stated.

Shaston looked happy for her but the guys just looked at her.

"Congrats Mat." Shaston said but the boys were silent. 

They both pulled her to the side so the pack couldn't here.

"Mat.....I know you can be a great alpha but don't you think you're rushing the decision abit?" Kaji asked.

"I agree. At least think about it. Do you know what you're commiting to? You'll have alot of responsablity on your paws. Repairing the damage of what Ackrome did will take along time to mend. Oh! By the way......Why did she give her birthright to you Mat?" Galent

"I was curious about that myself." Kaji spoke. 

Matsuko sat down smiling before she told them.

By then Shaston had came to see what they were talking about.

Matsuko told all of them what happened.

"She actually fell for that?" asked Kaji.

"I beleive she would have. She not too bright. If you fill her vanity she'll fall for anything." Galent said.

"Yeah, but this time I didn't need to in order to trick her. Mission accoplished."  she said with a smile.

"Mat. Please just sleep on it tonight. Think about it. " pleaded Galent. 

"I say if she wants to do go for it!" Shaston said.

"Thanks Shaston." said Matsuko.

After that Shaston and Galent went to their den.

Like most ofthe dens now they were poorly made since Ackrome couldn't care less about them.  

Kaji walked with Matsuko.

They were afew feet in front of the den.

He was unusally quiet.

"Kaji?" She spoke.

Kaji didn't answer.

"Kaji?!" she spoke louder.

"Huh?" he snapped out of his trance.

"What's wrong? Aren't....aren't you happy for me?" she asked.

Kaji sat down thought about how to answer her. Then he looked at her straight in the eyes. Matsuko looked worried at his expression.

"Ah Blossem. Don't look at me like that. Of course I'm happy for you but......" he trailed off.

"Tell me. Please." Masuko said.

" Its going to be stressful for you if you take it. But I know you'll regreat it especially the pack if you refuse." he said.

"Wow......you're freaking out more than I am. I want to do this Kaji. I know it'll be hard but I can restore it the way it used to be. I owe it to alpha Kumiko. She was like a second mother to me after what happened to my parents.  Always she watched over me when I didn't run away all the time. I going restore this clan no matter what! "she explained to Kaji.

He had a huge smile on his face.

"I guess you won't need to sleep on it tonight huh? I'm proud of you, Blossem. Hey! I'm an alpha's mate. Sounds good to me." he said as he kissed her cheek and began to walk again.

"You know you have to work harder too since I'm going to be the alpha." she metioned to him.

"I won't mind. Its worth it to me." he said entering the den.

She stopped before she entered to say. "I'm going to be alpha? Sweet!"

The next day Matsuko accepted the title of Alpha and began the healing of the clan.

First she she moved the pack.

Since the food was getting low and the land wasn't suitable to live it only made sense.

The first two months of wandering was hard.

The wolves was starting to doubt Masuko's leadership.

Despite that Matsuko kept searching for the new land they would call home.

Spring was comming soon. Matsuko thought that gave hope to the pack to keep going. But as soon as the food was out so was Ackrome. She left without saying a word. Venice left soon after she did.

Afew lives were lost on the way, many left the pack in doubt, but the rest stayed or what's left of it to the journey ahead.

They soon found water and stopped for a break.  

 All the pack was exhausted and starving. With that hope began to fade and hostile feeling rose. 

Kaji watched over the pack while Matsuko went around to explore a little. He didn't like leaving her alone but assured him she'll be careful. He let her go but he was still worried about her.

""This is just great!" one wolf shouted.

"As if we didn't have enough problems to deal with!"

"At least Ackrome let us do what ever we want!" another said.

Many were getting riled up by talking about the misery they been through.

Kaji was trying to be understanding but his anger was rising quickly.

The water was fresh so that kept them quiet for awhile but there was no way to tell when they were going to rebel against Matsuko.

Kaji pondered on how to handle the problem.

Matsuko was exploring and observing the land for any predetors herself.

Then she saw a brown wolf with a red markin on her sholder passed out on the ground. It wan't from the pack she saw. It was a female. No older than her.

"I can't just leave her." she thought to herself.

She lifted the wolf on her back and carried her back to the lake.

By the time she got back some of the pack members left. What a surprise......

She put the wolf down by the water.

Kaji ran straight to her as soon as he saw her.

"I'm sorry blossem. I failed. I tried to keep them together but...." He didn't look in her eyes. He felt disappointed not keeping the pack intact.

"Kaji don't worry about. It was thier choice to leave. Where's Galent and Shaston?" she said as to Kaji as she kissed him to cheer him up.

He smiled then turned to the female on the ground. 

 "They went with a couple of hunters to find any food available. Who is this?" he asked.

 "I found her.I couldn't leave her to die. Too much death has lingered around me." she said with saddend voice.

He nuzzled her.

 "We'll let's see if she can move."he saids as he splash water on her.

"Huh? Who's there?" the wolfsaid in  panic.

"Calm down! We won't hurt you." said Matsuko.

"Robin? Where's Robin?!" the wolf shouted.

"We don't know. I found you alone.I'm sorry." Mat said.

The wolf looked saddly to the ground "No...." she thought.

"What's your name?" asked Matsuko.

"Trinity. And yours?"  she asked.

"Matsuko. I'm the alpha of the Razor Wind Altic clan. This is my mate Kaji." she pointed to him.

"Nice to meet you." he said politely.

She bowed.

"My hunters are out to find food. It won't be much your welcome to have some." she said.

Trinity looked around and saw that its not really a full clan. In fact "Clan" wouldn't be a good why to describe it. 

"Thank you." she said.

"I know its not full,but we will restore the clan to the strenght  it used to be." She explained to Trinity.

Trinity nodded.

"But that's a problem." she said

"Why?"asked Matsuko.
 

"I'm a vampire I need blood. I'm not sure that I can control my thrist." she explained.

"Its alright. I'm half vampire myself. I can teach you how to control it."Matsuko said as Trinity smiled.

As Matsuko exspected the supply of food was few. 

They didn't stay long they moved on to start the serach again.

Then they found a dog named Cherish. She is brown gray and her back right leg and front left leg were black and greenas the rest of her legs were orange with markings on it. She was an ecxellent fighter so Matsuko let her in what's left of the clan. 

Then when all of them were almost dead Kaji spotted some trees far away. "Mat!! Look ahead!!" he shouted.

Matsuko looked at what she thought was a dream.

  She turned to the 25 members out of 250 wolves.

"There's land ahead but be careful. It could belong to another clan." Matsuko said.

The pack ran to the forest ignoring her warning. Then the pack was surrounded by wolves.

"The pack's too weak to fight back." thought Matsuko.

The only way for them to survive was to leave or surrender.

But before Matsuko went foward to the surrounding wolves they parted to reveal the leader.

The wolf was a female. she wasn't big or small. She had black and red fur and had bright yellow eyes.

"This is our lands!" she roared.

"I'm sorry for intruding. I am Matsuko alpha of  Razor Wind Altic Mafia clan. We need food and water." she said.

The wolf looked around then back to Matsuko." I hardly call this a clan. My name is-"

"ROBIN!!" Trinity shouted as she pushed her way to the front.

"Trinity?" The one called robin said with wide eyes.

the two hugged each other then they turned to the others.

"Matsuko this is Robin. I use to lead this pack untill we were attacked. I was seperated from the until I met  you. Robin took over for me obviously." she said pointing to Robin.

"Since there's so few of us here I had to be cautious. Sorry about all that." Robin said kind of embarassed.

"I understand." Matsuko said.

"Actually I was wondering if we could join our packs into one." Robin stated.

"Together?" Matsuko repeated.

"We stand a better chance if invaders were to come to the land. And your clan looks like it could use a home." Robin explained.

 "Hmm." Matsuko said.

"I'll let you think about it over dinner." said Robin

As soon as she said that almost all of the packs belly started to growl louder than one to theaten off anyone.

  "Hehe. I think they agree too." Robin.

The surrounding  wolves followed Robin.

"FOOD!" the others shouted following them.

Matsuko followed as well.

 It was night again.

There was many game for the pack to eat. Robin said since they were too few wolves to hunt with the deer overpopulated the forest.

A river was not too far from the either. Everyone took a big gulp and bite of what they got.

Matsuko went to the river to think. She looked at her reflection in the crystal clear water.

"Some leader I turned out to be. Out of 250, 20 made it? Pathethic. Joining with them is the only way the pack will live." she said.

"Blossem?" a voice calledfrom behind.

Matsuko almost jumped.

"Hehe. I thought leaders always supposed on guard." Kaji teased to lighten the mood but he saw that it didn't work.

"Come on.....Smile. Its been along time since I've seen you even smirk or even heard you laugh." he said sitting next to her.

"Kaji..." she said as saddness and guilt rushed into her heart. She dug her head into her chest. Her bottled up emotion were about to burst.

He laid his head on top of hers. 

She only tried to look strong to keep hope alive in everyone who looked up to her for their survival.

"Shh...It's ok." he calmly told her whispering her ear.

"No! It won't! I nearly killed the pack!! I can see all the face that left or died because of me. Kumiko haunted me saying I recked her pack......." she trailed off as tears flowed from her face.

"Mat....you told me you wanted to lead this pack-"

I know! But.....I thought I save the pack not made it worse." she said between sobs.

He backed away.

"You did. The ones who left are the ones who did believe in you. You taught the other how to endure hard times. You did learn the hard tmes of being the leader but  you got more experence now. Besides  Ackrome never would have left that barren land. This way the wolves can multply and take care the young." Kaji explained.

"But what about the dead Kaji? Nothing was good about that," she said coldly.

He thought about it before he spoke.

"I know. But-"

"Hey love birds!! You two aren't going to eat." Galent shouted with meat in his mouth.

"Yeah! We'll be right up!!" Kaji shouted.

Her head went down. "Go on ahead. I'll be right behind you soon."

He looked at her curiously. "Are you Sure?" he asked. She nodded.

He sighed. He walked towards Galent.

He turned to her and said "I'll save you some food." he shouted.

 "Thanks." she said.

 She laid down in the cool grass. She inhailed the smell of the forest. It made her tired.

She thought she take a short nap. She slowly closed her eyes and let sleep take her.

She was dreaming again.....but it wasn't her normal nightmares that she never told anyone she was having.

She felt like she was floating in the night sky. Stars danced around her. The wind howled. Then vampire bats came surrounding her. But the didn't attack. Instead they flew around her almost like a barrier. 

Then she saw her bayne state sit in front of her as if it was a whole other being.

Matsuko move around so did it. When she snarled so did it. Then she held up her paw to touch it. It did the same like a mirror reaction.

When they touched a light started to glow. Then the figure teleported into  Matsuko's body. She felt it's power and emotions then realized it was her. Every bit of it was her and she was it.

"Matsuko....? Matsuko...."

"Mat? Little Mat...." 

"Squirt?"

 Voices were calling her.

"Who's there?" she said.

The stars formed into three shapes of wolves.

"Mom....?! Dad.....?! Kumiko...?!" She couldn't believe her eyes.

"Hello dear." her mother respond to her.

 "Hey half-pint!" her dad said.

"Hey trouble maker." said Kumiko.

Matsuko only smiled. The tears came back to her.

"We are all very proud of you and your brother dear." her mom spoke.

"Yes we are. To be honest the pack never looked better." said Kumiko.

"But its so small....." Matsuko said.

 "Numbers do not make a pack." Kumiko said.

".......But it helps." Matsuko said.

They all laughed.

Just hearing their voices lifted her spirits.

"Ahh don't worry about those deserters kid. You have the loyal ones with you now." Her dad said.

"Yes. Learn about the mistakes you've made or you'll repeat them. The dead were loyal to you as well. At least they saw a true leader before the died peacefully." Kumiko said.

"Be strong kid. Follow your heart it'll never go wrong." her dad

They started to fade. 

"No!!! Wait!! There's so many things I want to know!! Please don't leave me again!!!" Matsuko shouted. 

The stars dispersed but the voices were still present.

"Trust your friemds and famliy."her mom said.

"Understand your choices." her dad said.

"Beware of these wolves." Kumiko said.

Shadows appeared in front of Matsuko.

One looked like Venice.

The second looked like Ackrome.

The third was a mystery to Matsuko.

It was a female. She had silky black and purple fur with golden brown eyes.

 Then it faded in to darkness.

"Mat! Mat!!!! Mat wake up!!"

A loud voice called.

Her vision was blurry for a moment then it turned to Kaji's face.

She yawned and streched.

"Kaji? What's going on?" she said getting up.

"I thought you said you'll be back." he said.

"I was just about to go back." she said shaking the grass off her head.

"Its morning now!" Kaji pointed out.

"Huh?" she looked around the forest and saw the sun barley in the sky.

"Wow. I guess that nap took alot longer than I thought." she said.

"I still have some of that food. It might taste a little wierd but its still pretty good." he said as he pointed to the meat  beside him.   

  "Later I have to talk to Robin." she said  as she started to runaway to the plains.

"She went to  to check the forest. Is there something wrong?" he asked.

"No! I'm going to take her offer!" Matsuko shouted.

  Kaji stood in the meadow blankly. As soon as she was gone he couldn't help but smile.

A full year has passed and the clan gotten bigger and bigger. Life was returning the pack . Newborns are are growing nice and strong.

Robin didn't like to be the alpha so she suggested she be second in command under Matsuko since she had a little more experince in leading. Trinitty was in charge of the warriors With Galent as her partner.

The warriors are well-trained and obediant. The healers are effeciant and fast. The hunters' teamwork was excellent . All the things were coming together.  

Except that the big news came that Shaston was pregnant! In a few months she would give birth to pups.

Galent was so happy to heard the news.

The days were brighter.

It was good days until one scout spotted a huge pack coming their way. The wolf ran all the way to Matsuko's post.

"Alpha Matsuko! I spotted intruders." The young wolf said alittle shaken.

 "How many?" she asked.

"I wasn't sure. Almost a like full army!!" the wolf shouted.

 Matsuko thought for a moment.

" Get our top fighters and I'll meet with the leader to see what they want! Go!" she commanded.

The wolf bowed and did what he was told.

Matsuko discussed the matter with Kaji, Tinity, Galent, and Robin.

"I have to at leat see what they want." said Matsuko.

"Don't you think that's a little risky?" asked Robin.

"No. It makes since because it would reckless to ignore or charge in with out knowing them first." said Galent. 

"I'll make sure the warriors are well-informed about the situation. I'll be back." Trinity said leaving the area.

"I shoulld go now." Matsuko saidwalking away.

"Becareul blossem." Kaji said concerned.

She turned to kiss him on the cheek.

"Don't worry. I'll be fine. They can't touch us." she said with a wink.

Kaji smiled but worries still filled his head.

In less than an hour Matsuko met with the opossing army outside of the forest.

The leader came forward to Matsuko.

The warriors behind her growled but she gave them a look to calm them down.

"I am Matsuko,The alpha of the Razor Wind Altic clan. What reason have you come here?" Matsuko asked.

"We are the Yakuza clan. I see Kumiko really did kick the bucket huh?" the huge red and brown wolf said to her.

Matsuko looked at him with wide eyes.

"You knew Kumiko?" she asked.

"Knew her? She was my sister. Such a goode goodie! When my old man gave her the pack instead of his older son I figured that I should make my own. And that's when the Yakuza clan was born. For Years I'd been trying to pick a fight with her so-called-clan. Sibling rivary you could say. It was the reason why she moved around so much." The wolf said proudly with his chest high.

" How could you do that to your only sister?" she asked.

"Easily......Oh. I forgot to introduce myself. Sorry. That was rude of me. The name is Karasu." He bowed to her.

Matsuko rolled her eyes when he wasn't looking.

"So I guess your the new leader.Huh?" He said as eyed her as he walked closer

 "Pretty cute.I would hate to mess up that pretty face of yours. Why don't you join with my clan? I could use a mate." he said smoothly.

"No thanks. I'm taken but that was so nice of you to offer." she said.

He sighed.

"Oh well. I guess I'll have to kill your whole clan then. Too bad." he said as he walked back to his clan.

"Beutiful and smart. Such a waste!" He said.

"Wait. How did you know we be here?" Matsuko asked.

" Why my little niece told me of course." he said as Ackrome appeared out of the crowd.

"Traitor!" Matsuko shouted to her.

"Hmp! Stick and stones Matty! I'll claim my rightful place as alpha again." Ackrome said.

"You wanted to trade. And you said You never want to be alpha again." Matsuko stated.

 Karasu looked at Ackrome for awhile. Aparently he was told something different.

"She's lying uncle. I told you she would." she said to him putting up her innocent look.

Karasu wasn't fooled but put up with her lie.

 "We'll attack tonight unless you give up." he said Matsuko.

She just started him down.

"I figured that'll be your anwser." He said walking away her.

"Very well." Matsuko said returning to the forest.

She explained to everyone what happened between her and Karasu.

"They'll attack huh? Will the others be ready for this?" asked Trinity.

"We won't have long for darkness. They'll have to be." Galent.

 "We'll be ready! We can cast those mongrols back with their tails between their legs." Kaji said with a smile.

They all agreed.

"Its time to go." said Matsuko.

 The army gathered around the cliff where the opening to the forest was located.

Karasu's army was coming as promised.

All of his army ran at full speed.

"This is it!! Defend your home my warriors!!!!" Matsuko shouted as she charged towards the army. Kajiwas right beside her.

Trinity was with Robin and Galent was with the warriors. The healers were in the back until they were needed.

The battle was deadly and bloody.

It was a long two hours. Shouting and yelping was mixed with the fresh spilt blood of both sides. 

Then Matsuko saw that Ackrome was on the cliff near the forest. She fought her way back to the cliff.

She was alone with her.

"Time to get my birth right back." She said to her.

"You gave that up long ago pup. You sould have been wiser about you choices. The pack has never been better if you're wondering." said Matsuko.

"Thanks. I'll take it back NOW!!!" she roared as she atttacked.

Matsuko transformed to her bane state and howled as she charged against her as well.

Paws sliced, teeth sank through the fur to the flesh bones broke and blood was all over the area.

Both was weak. Matsuko was near the edge.

"This ends NOW!!! " she lepted at her but Matsuko dodge her and Kicked her so hard she fell of the cliff.

"AAHHHHGGG!! " she screamed as she fell.

"Your right. It is over." she said.

"Not yet." a voice called form behind.

But before she could respond Karasu tackled her hard and pinned her down.

"I'll finish you quickly. And without hitting your face. I promise." he said raising his paws.

"GET OFF MY MATE YOU FILTHY MONGROL!!!" somone roared.

Matsuko looked up to see Kaji but his apperence was different. His eyes were red and a bonelike armor enclosed on his body.

   "Kaji....?" she thought.

"So this slacker is your mate? You can better than that Matsuko." he commented. Kaji was about to attack but a familar face came to view.

"VENICE?!" Kaji shouted.

"Yeah. I joined him too." he said to Kaji.

"Yes. With the both of us these two won't have a prayer. Let's go and have fun." Karasu said Still on Matsuko.

"Gladly." But Venice tackled Karasu and closed his fangs on his neck.

 "What are you......? Uh....." His voice got weaker as Venice sucked him clean of his blood.

"Why did you help us?" Kaji asked.

"I only joined hhis clan so I could be second in command and claim his clan when he dies. You were only tools to get what I want. I'll be back one day. Bye." He said as he lepted off the cliff and told the clan to leave.

In some way they won.

The healers can as fast as they could. Not much were dead mostly wounded.

 They barried the dead and slowy regained the peaceful lifestlye.

Galent went back to Shaston and Robin with Trinity cleaned up the battlefield. 

When Kaji and Matsuko got back to the den she couldn't help but stare to him.

"I know. I should have told you about that." he referred to his transformation.

"What is it and why didn't you tell me?" she asked and alitte hurt.

"I thought you would be afraid of me." he said.

"I'm half vampire. It'll take more than that to scare me." she said.

He laughed.

She came and nuzzled him.

"I was scared that I might lose you, blossem." he said.

"You'll never lose me." she said as she kissed him.

"Uh...I was wondering." he started.

"Yes?" she askked.

"How about we have some pups?" he asked.

She was surprised by this .

"Pups? I ..." she was stuttering.

"Alpha Matsuko! We have a newcomer." one of the guards said.

"Whew." she thought. "I'll be right there." she said.

Kaji was behind her.

"Who is it?" she asked.

Then the wolf appeared to them.

Kaji stood speechless.

"Kaji? What's wrong?" Matsuko asked but he didn't respond.

"Kaji. Don't tell you forgot you mate." the wolf said.

"KKKatrina?" he stuttered.

Thunder roared over them as he spoke her name.
