A shadow of a wolf is seen runing through the snow white landscape of the north.

The wolf smiled as she felt the cold snow between her paws and the wind against her fur.

She felt the moon powering her as it always did all her life. 

 The wonders of of the world thrilled her. With mixed blood in her veins she was inmmortal!

With her long life she constantly wanted to see how the world changes. She was also a decendants of Balto.

Her fur was dark gray with orange streck on her back and paws and legs. Her ears were black. She also had blackstripes on back and legs.

She was always in the mood to search and explore the new world she lives in. She was a year old so she was at the prime of her life.

She was always off dreaming of being somewhere else and never payed attention to were she was.

She stopped at a region of mountain and stone. She was about to go in until she heard something. 

"Matsuko wait up!" A voice called out from behind.

The wolf called Matsuko waited as another wolf that was male runing from behind.

The male was light grey. And he had a few scars on his body as well. No more than 2yrs older than the on called Matsuko.

"Slow down man Not everyone is fast like you you know! Not all of use have vampire abilities. The pack is not happy that you keep runing off like this." the wolf said.

"Will you quit hounding me Galent? I'm grown up! I'm not that tiny little pup anymore! I don't need you to babysit me. Its not like I go off for days." Matsuko said.

"You do go off for days. and your're hanging out on the cliffs again? Remember the last time you went there by yourself?" the wolf named Galent said to her.

"Of course not. I'll never forget." she quietly said.

They were quiet for a moment then Galent finally spoke.

"Let's go home before something happens to me again." he said going down the snowy hills.

Matsuko looked behind her then finally joined her brother.

The pack wasn't too far away. They move place to place as they gather more differnt wolves to the clan. And they want to keep up with the caribou.

The pack was called the Razor Wind Altic Mafia.

Very powerful with great rep to back it up. And they have blood from vampires, bull dog, great dane  almost any mix you can think of.

They were mostly known for their warriors. They were the best at what they down which is not always pretty. They train constantly to keep their skills sharp. 

The two returned to the pack.

The alpha came to view and instantly targeted Matsuko.

She looked very angery!

"Matsuko!! How many times I have to tell you not to run off. we need all members to be in sight!" she said.

The alpha was tall and slinder. She was very wise despite her age. She was black all over her body and sharp red eyes. Her voice alone would make the bravest wolf tremble before her.

The two stood motionless.

The whole pack stood behind her. They all were quiet curious  about Matsuko's punishment. They like watching  as long as it wasn't them getting yelled at.

Galent came forward to speak.

"Please my lady! Forgive Matsuko she's-"

"She disobeyed me for the last time Galent.Her punishment will be-" She was cut off by red and black wolf named Talon.

Talon was an old friend of Matsuko and Galent's parents.

He bowed to her. "Ma'm I'll watch over her for now on."

The alpha thought for moment. "Very well Talon. She's your resposeablity. " She said moving ahead leaving the pack.

Talon came next to her.

"Why did you do that Talon?!" She shouted to him.

Galent said "You're lucky she didn't do anything worse to you!"

"You two will never change will you." Talon said walking with the pack.

They all walked a for at least three hours.

The alpha lifted her head to sniff the air around her.

The clouds looked gray and heavy.

"We must find shelter a storm will be arriving soon!" she told the pack.

The pack quickly seperated to look for shelter.

Even thought it was minates that passed by the storm was coming quick.

 There was no trees since they were too far north.

Then suddenly a voice echoed saying "Over here!! An abandoned tunnel!"

All the members ran to the tunnel as quick as possible!

"How many can go in?" The alpha asked.

"The youngest could go in the back eaisly. Its very skinny. The adult might have to move to the front to make room though." he said.

"Very well. As long as the pack can make it though the storm It'll be fine. All right the youngest go in first ! HURRY!" she said.

"That means you two." Talon said tugging at Matsuko and Galent.

"Come on Talon! Were not pups we can handle the cold." said Matsuko.

"I can't believe this but I agree with Mat. Were old enough to handle it." said Galent.

Talon was about to protest but he saw that they were serious.

"Alright you win. You squirts are older I'll admit that. I have to help the other so you two stay together." he said walking away.

"Becareful Talon!" said Matsuko.

"Don't worry about us!" said Galent.

They both waited untill the young ones were all in. Then the older ones were next to go in.

The alpha was last to go in. Then the strom hit nice and hard.

The pack was very quiet as they heard the wind toss and turn. Even though they were underground they felt the cold wind biting them through their fur.

Then as quick as hit came it was over. 

THe Alpha came out to see if it was safe.

"Alright everyone! The young warriors need to stay to protect the tunnel! The pups stay put and the rest can look for food but don't go far. I want you to go in two pairs just in case. I think it won't be long before we get another wave of the storm so be quick!" the Alpha said as the rest obeyed.

But Matsuko didn't like who she was paired with.

Venice.

He was her couson but some weird reson he hated her. She would always make fun of her and taunt her because of she was half vampire and he was full.

Surprising he didn't speack at all! He just stared at her.

It was so creepy to her that she rather have him insult her.

They walk for a whie but no luck. The clouds were returning and Matsuko began to worry. 

"I think we went too far. I think we should head back." she said But Venice didn't respond.

"What's wrong with you? You just keep staring at me and-" Then suddenly Venice attacked her.

"Wha-"

She was pinned down.

"Blood...!"he said as his fangs grew inches longer and his eyes glowed.

"GET OFF OF ME !!!" Matsuko's eyes glowed light blue.

She kicked him off and he landed really hard.

He growled.

Then Spike came out of the sides of her legs and her back. 

 He circled her but she was ready for him.

He charged at her but she kicked him on the chin and he went flyin off to the snow again.

"You know the ground kind of suites you." she said.

He growled again and said "You miserable halfbreed!"

He ran then swifted to the left.

He lepted at her from behind but he forgot about her spikes. His thigh and bakc leg was impailed by the spikes but didn't die since he was a full blood vampire.

Matsuko quickly turned and closed her teeth on his back.

"Gahh!! " he said as he tried to toss her off. She only hung on tighter by her teeth.

He jumped high in the air then crushed her body into the ground.

He got up and looked to see if she was alive.

Claws swipted at his face.

"AAGGHH!" he whimpered.

Then he turned and shoved his claws to her thighs and belly.

"Your blood wouldn't have tasted good any way!! You parents tainted the pure race!!" But as he finshed she drived her fangs in his chest nearly inches from his heart.

He back off.

"If You attack me again I WILL kill you!" she said as he went away with a bad leg and multiple wounds.

Even though she won the fight she was injured too.

Her wounds should heal but she needed a place to rest.

The pack was too far away and she was too weak to go any where.

The storm came back. More violent than ever. The ice in the wind sinking into her wounds only made it worse.

"You....can't...be...serious....." she fainted. He body became motionless.

Then a big wolf-like silhoutette came to Matsuko.

It sniffed her to see if she was alive.

It put Matsuko on its back and walked away to the unknown.

Back at the pack all the members sent out except Venice and Matsuko.

 The alpha looked at the sky as the storm returned.

"Where are they?"She thought.

Then her daughter came out of the tunnel to check on her mother.

She turned to her .

"AKCHROME! I thought I told you to stay inside!" she yelled at the young pup.

The pup had her head down. "I wanted to see how you do your job mom." She got a cold look from her mom. 

"I mean Alpha Kumiko." she said.

"Go inside now!!" she said.

"But If I'm going to follow your paws I need to see how its done!" she said whining.

"Later! In! Now!"she pointed to the tunnel.

Akchrome went inside grumbling. 

Venice came back seriously wounded.

She ran to him.

"What happened? Where's Matsuko?!" she shouted.

I...I don't know. Something just came and just attacked us! It was so fast I was on the ground before I knew it. I don't know what happened to Matsuko." he said going into the cave without looking back.

She sighed and thought. "She could be alive! We don't know if she's-"

Then Galent came to Kumiko.

"Are they back?" he said in a worried tone.

She sighed and said "No. They haven't."

"Matsuko..." he said.

"You shouldn't worry. They can handle it! We can't go until after the storm is over. We can serch later. Just wait alittle longer." she said to him but he looked out to they sky. He couldn't help it.

She was the only relitive ,that he liked, who was alive.

"Matsuko..." he said.

"Go on pup. I'll keep an eye out for them." she said with a warm smile.

He smiled too but it sooned turned back into a frown when he entered a cave.

He sat as close to the side in the crowded tunnel.

He was lost in his thoughts about his sister out there and anything that could happen to her.

THen suddenly he was pushed into something soft beside him.

"Ouch!" a voice cried.

Half of his upper body was on top.

He opened his eyes to see a beutiful pair of purple eyes.

It was a female husky with brown white fur.

He blushed at the awkward situation.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!" he said getting off of her.

"Its alright. Its a crowded tunnel." she said.

The female observed Galent for a moment.

"Well its plain to see that you're a warrior." she said.

He slightly smiled.

"Was it the scars that tipped you off?" said Galent in a playful tone.

She looked at him with wide eyes and then turned to move away from him.

"Wait! It was a joke! I didn't mean to offend you." he said trying to move to keep up with her.

She turned to face him. "It wasn't you its-"

"Shaston! You come back here this instant!!"

"That!" she pointed to a huge wolf pushing the crowd around so he could get through.

"WWWho is that?" he asked curiously and a little scared.

"My dad Arow. You might wanna hide." she  suggested.

"Your dad?! Wait. Why?" he asked but then he got his answer.

The wolf came to her then looked at Galent with fire in his eyes.

"You're hitting on my daughter aren't you!?"He yelled.

"No sir I-" but before he could explainto him he pushed Galent. away fron her.

"I better not see you again near her!!" he said walking away with his daughter.

He sighed and sat back to the cave's side.

Then he saw that Shaston was looking at him then smiled.

He smiled back then said.

"I hope your luck is runing better than mine Mat." he said thinking about his sister again.  

Matsuko woke up in a light brown dry cave.

She yawned as she streched her body.

"Hey! She lives!" a voice called.

Matsuko automaticly stood in a attack stance ready to pounce on the intruder! Or was she the intruder?

"Huh. All those scars and bruises are already healed! Bummer. I was hoping I could be the one who nursed you back to health." the male said.

His face was like a fox but his whole body was all wolf.

 Matsuko was looking at him a minate too long so she shook her head to focus on the fact that he's a stranger and or could be and enemy!

"Who are you!?" she asked.

"Kaji's the name and apparently saving cute females is my game." he said with a smoothe smile.

She still didn't let her guard down no matter how charming he was .

Charming? He could kill her if he wanted.

Now what's the name of the female I saved?"he asked.

"Matsuko." she said

"Beutiful name." he said.

"Where am I?" she looked around the cave again.

"My home. You like it?" he asked.

She got up and looked around.

He followed her closely.

"Back off pal!" she growled.

"Slow down tiger. I won't hurt ya. I thought you were still a little weak. Hehe. My mistake." he chuckled.

She glared at him.

"Why did you help me? I'm a stranger to you." she said.

He sat to show that he was wondering the same thing.

"I don't know. I guess I thought a flower like you should die before you bloomed." he said to her.

She growled and turned but only to cover her blushing.

The wind howled againsted the cave.

"I think we need to get some shut eye. Don't you think?" he said going to the back of the cave.

 "I'll get something for us to eat in the morning. Ok?" he said huddling to a corner.     

"No! I'll find something for myself in the morning. I don't need help." she said going to the opposite corner.

"Got that?!" she said watching him.

"Yeah. Like you took care yourself out there right?" he smiled with his teeth showing.

"Grrr! You're so annoying!" she said lying down.

He smiled as he closed his eyes.

An hour passed by but Matsuko couldn't sleep. She had too much questions to ask him.

All she could do was stare at him.

"Look. I know you're awake. I can feel you staring at me like a ton off brick on me. If you want to ask me something then ask!" he said motionless and without looking at her.

She looked at him with wide eyes.

He knew? Did he read her mind. No. He's playing with her mind.

"You live here by yourself right?" she asked.

"Yup!" he said.

"You don't have a pack or mate? And your parents or siblings." she asked.

He turned to her.

"No siblings. Just me. I use to have a mate but it didn't work out. No pack. Too serious for me. I never knew my parents." he answered her.

"A mate?" she thought.

"How about you my little blossom? You have a past?" he said to her.

  Matsuko was quiet.

"A mysterious one huh? That's fine. If you don't want to talk about it is fine with me." he turned away and went to sleep.

 She  went to sleep.

But she had her nightmare came again aabout the death of her parents.

One day when she was only a pup she ran off to explore the moutains and cliffs when her parents told her not to.

 Galent followed. "Come on Mat! Let's go home to come home before mom and dad find out. Theyll murder us!" he said.

"Oh We'll be back before they even know we're gone." She said climbing the sharp rocks and huge boulders.

She was having fun until they ran into a pack of rouge wolves.

Both frozed out of fear.

"Well well well. Looks like our breackfast  came to boys!" a wolf said they all growled and started to drool.

But before one of the wolves could touch them their dad jumped in front of them to defend them.

Their mother can to them trying to make them move.

"We'll talk about this later you two. Let's go. Now!" she said shoving them to the path behind them

The wolves surrounded the family as they prepaired to attack.

Her father said "We don't want any trouble. We just wanted to take the pups and go home."

The leader of the wolves said that they hadn't eaten in weeks so he couldn't control his comrades if they waited to eat them.

Her father's fangs grew a few inches longer and her mother eys glowed as she wings grew from her back.

Her mother was a full blood vampire and her father was mixed with many breeds of dogs which made him stronger than a normal wolf.

Her father eaisly took out the starving wolves. Most ran away or was kicked off the mountain.  

It was only him and the leader left. But then the ground shook under them. It was an avalanche. Her father told his mate to get the pups home.

 But the blouders came to fast. Her father and leader was baried alive.

 "DAD!" They both said but her mother grabbed them.

Her mother tried to fly but she was hit on the head.

She and the pups fell.

But when she landed she covered the pups with her body from the rocks.

Then Matsuko's vision got blury then black.

When she woke up Galent was scartched up and crying.

She cawled out and walked to him.

"Galent! What-" then she saw her mom with sharp rocks on her back.

"Mom...!" tears quickly came to her.

She nudged her but she didn't move.

"Please mom! Don't leave us!!" she cried.

"Dad! He can help!" she said.

Galent shook his sead.

"We don't know he's dead!! We can look and-"  

"He's gone child. I'm sorry." Talon as Kumiko walked with him.

You're parents are gone. We have to go now." she said.

"NNNOO! I WON'T LEAVE!! This is my fault their dead!!" she cried.

"You won't stay! Don't make their sacrifise in vain child!" she said.

Gelent went with them as they left.

Matsuko looked behind her before following.

Warm.

So warm.

Why do I feel so....

Slowly opened her eyes.

Then she saw Kaji wrapped around her body and his face so close to her's.

Her heart started to beat faster.

His tail was around her back and he moved his muzzle under hers.

She got up so fast sh didn't even wake kaji up.

"That little......! I knew I should've kepted my eye on him!" she thought.

  Then she looked at him as he slepted peacefully.

"He's not that bad looking I guess." she whispered.

But that was a Lie!

He was very handsome! very strong and fit.

His eye made her weak and his smile......

She shook her head I can't fall in love! Not with him!

He was gone! While she was thinking he moved.

"Where did he....?" she looked around.

"Right here!" he smiled as wrapped his tail around her neck and landed a kiss on the mouth.

Matsuko stuggled through his grip but he was strong.

She flet the warm lips on her.

Swarms of emotions drowned her mind.

She moaned as he came closer.

"What am I doing!?" she thought.

Then she broke his grip.

"How dare you? I don't even know you! And why were you so close to me when I was sleeping?!" she shouted.

Kaji saw through her tough act.

He knew she enjoyed it.

"Sorry about that! I couldn't resist. As for last night you were crying and talking in your sleep. When walked to see if were ok you grabbed  me. Then you started to calm down. I figured to stay with you." he said to her.

"Right." she thought as she looked out the cave and saw the sun.

"The storm's over. I'm going back to my pack. Thank you for saving me." she was walking away.

He hurried after her.

"Wait!! Will I ever see you again?" he asked.

"Unless you want to join my pack I don't think we will. Farewell Kaji."  she said.

Before he could speak she ran as fast as she could away from him.

The pack moved out from the tunnel soon after the storm left.

Galent wanted to stay there so Matsuko could find them but Kumiko refused saying the tunnel was too skinny to live in.

Galent walked with Talon with his head down.

"Aww squirt she'll be fine. She's a year old now! She can take care of herself." he said to Galent.

He smiled but he couldn't help but worry.

He thought about Venice. "He probably did this! I should force him to tell me where-" 

"Hey! Scruffy!" a voice called for behind.

Galent turned.

He saw nothing.

He looked back and saw the female from the cave.

Talon smiled and left to leave him alone.

"Its you. Shaston was it?" he said.

"You remembered." she smiled.

Galent looked behind her.

"Don't worry. My dad isn't following me so relax.What's your name?" she said looking at his face.

"Galent."he said.

In truth he was glad she was here.

Shaston actually cheered him up.

Not to mention she was kind of cute.

Aww who was he kidding?

She was hot!

"Uh...Are you ok? You keep on staring at me." she said breaking his train of thought.

"Sorry." he said.

"And they said I was a weird wolf." she said walking with him.

"You? Weird? I don't think you're weird. Who says that?" he asked.

    "Almost the whole pack I guess. I don't care but sometimes it gets annoying.Not even some of the males find me attracted. Sorry. I guess I ranted a bit. Sorry." she said.

"No. Don't be. I like listing to you. And don't get offended but I think you're....uh...attractive.....even cute." he said nervous.

She blinked. Then Blushed.

"Really?" she asked.

Before he anwsered he felt something heavey dropped on his back.

"Hey Scarface! Trying to flurt now bro?"

He knew that voice.

"MATSUKO! YOU'RE BACK!!!" he tackled his sister.

They were so happy to see each other.

"You...You DIRTY RAT! YOU HAD A MATE!" shaston shouted as she ran away from them.

"Who was that?"asked Matsuko.

"That was Shaston she thought you am I were mates." hesaidputtinghisheaddown.

"Eww! Gross!" she said.

Galent looked very sad even though his sister was back.

"I'm sorry about this. If you could explain you could-" but He waslked away before she could finish.

"Poor Galent. I guess my love life is better than Gal-"

Love life!? She wasn't thinking about Kaji was she?

She shook her head.

"I should help my him. Apparently he's in love."she thought runing to the pack .

The pack stopped at a river to rest. Matsuko thought it'll be good time to look for Shaston.

She found Shaston with her father crying.

"Don't cry. There are millions of wolves who would love to have you as a mate." her father said  but she still cried.

Matsuko slowly walked to them.

A twig snapped.

Her father jumped to a fighting stance.

"Who's there!?" he yelled.

She showed herself.

"YOU!" Shaston shouted.

"Wait! You don't understand!"" she said but Shaston pinned her down.

"Why are you here?! To mock me!?" she yelled.

"No! Its not what you think! I'm his sister! Its the truth."

"Why should I listin to you!?" she yelled.

"You know! You heard me call him bro! You ran and jumped to conclusions!" she said.

She growled but she let Matsuko go.

"You should talk to him. He really likes you, you now." she said leaving her with her father.

Months passed and Shaston did just that. Almost everyday they hung out and talked.

Matsuko was beginning to feel jealous but tried to tell herself if he was happy so was she.

Matsuko was alone alot more often. She would come back of course but Talon would have to inform her what was going on.

 She would walk alone mostly think about Kaji and hated herself for it.

She would remmember his voice, face, and touch. And that smile and kiss.....

Just the thought of him made her blush.

Venice  saw her daydreaming.

"Halfbreed you better get back to the pack that left you as a pup!" he shouted.

"I still can't believe they let you stay in the pack!" she shoutee back.

"I'm just too valuable to lose." he said arrigantly.

"Please! She knew you'd be trouble and tell the another pack our secrets picked you up so she let you stay if you were watched constantly by at least one member. Talon updated me with you!" she said with a smile.

Venice frowned and prepaired to fight again.

"I told you if you fight me again I will kill you." she warned him again.

But he charged to her again.

But before he could reach her another wolf blocks him to her.

"You won't touch her!" the voice said.

It was....

"KAJI! But how....?" she gasped.

 "If you were around your pack more you'd known that I was the new member to watch Venice over there." He said.

She froze at his words.

He joined the pack?

Mostly her pack!

Venice knew he couldn't fight 2on1 so he fled.

  Kaji turned to her.

"Missed me?" he asked.

"How did you know this was my oack?!"

"As soon as you left my cave I followed your scent. When you left some part of me left too. I had to see you again even if I joined another pack to find you. You were different that any female I've met. I think I'm in love with you." he said finally.

She gasped."Love?"

She blinked.

"I don't know what to say."

"Then don't say anything." he said giving her another kiss. 

It was btter than she remembered.

Her heart pounded in the same pace as his.

He let go.

"I...I don't know Kaji. I think we should wait awhile.."she said walking away.

"Take all the time in the world blossem. I can wait longer." he said walking behind her.

But uknown to Matsuko someone very close to her will betray her. Not only will she depend on Kaji for love but for her life as well!!
