Esarosa
PART ONE
Balto walked through the shack behind Rosie's house. When he came in, he saw Jenna lying down with six pups at her side.
"Hey Balto, you can come in right now."said Jenna in her very soft, whispered voice. Balto walked toward Jenna to get a better look of the pups. He looked at every single one of them and said,
"They all look just like you, all cute and adorable." replied Balto as he stood next to her. But one little pup whimpered as she was making her way over her brothers and sisters. She had a greyish coat of fur just like Balto.
"Maybe just exept for one." Jenna said as she chuckled.
"We need to name them right away so then we don't get confused of which pup is which" Balto suggested to Jenna.
"Sounds great! Lets start. Um, that one can be named Kodiak and the one with the bright blue eyes that looks like Kodiak can be Saba." Jenna said as she was pointing out one another.
"This one can be Dingo and the one right next to it can be Dyami." Balto said in a whispered tone of voice.
"The greyish colored one can be Alue and the one right next to it can be.........." both of them hesitated for awhile until Balto came with an idea.
"How about we can name Aleu's twin Esarosa. Esarosa means white wolf in native american."
"That sounds like a great name! Esarosa. How beautiful for this little pup." Jenna said in agreement. The two parents gazed at their pups for the whole day while it had passed to the evening.
"See you later Jenna." Balto said to Jenna while he walked out of the door. Balto was so proud to be a father of six beautiful pups. Days passed by, and the six puppies were growing every minute.
Esarosa and her brothers and sisters were playing at the beach with their father today, Balto. They kept pouncing on top of him and tugging on his ears. Aleu jumped on top of the little, wooden post and began to start howling very loud. All of the pups joined around her and looked up at her in excitment. Esarosa wanted to howl too, so she closed her eyes and took a deep breath, but when she was about to howl, every of her brothers and sisters left to follow Aleu who was heading toward the forest nearby the woods. So instead of howling, Esarosa started to catch up with the rest of the pack. She ran so fast that she passed up everyone, including her sister Aleu. Now Esarosa was in the lead. She ran faster and faster until she had reached a river close by. All of the pups took a drink, and after that the headed for home. Esarosa was still in the lead, and while on their way home, she howled so loud that balto could have heard her. Balto at first thought it was Aleu howling again, but he thought wrong. It was actually Esasrosa trying to act like the wolf in her.
Esarosa was playing with her brothers and sisters in the adoption crate. Esarosa looks like Aleu pretty much, but only with Jenna's fur. Also, Esarosa has more of a wild personality than Aleu does, because she always jumps up and down and loves to run and howl a lot at the same time. "Daddy, will you get adopted?" asked Saba with her bright blue eyes shining at Balto. "No. I am to old and grumpy to get adopted from a human." said Balto in a joking way. "I can't wait to get adopted! I wonder what my human will be like......" Dingo said as he pounced on Aleu, who knock over Esarosa. Esarosa rubbed her head with her little paws. A little boy came to the crate and picked up Dingo. "He's adorable!" said the little boy as he walked away with Dingo in his arms. "Bye Dingo!" shouted everyone from the wooden, cramped crate. The day went on, and the afternoon grew darker into the evening. Kids passed by and went with each puppy in their hand as they walked away. Their were only three puppies left, Kodiak, Aleu, and Esarosa. A little girl came up to the crate. She kept hesitating to choose which one, until she finally reached out for Esarosa. Their was a collar around Esarosa's neck that said her name. "What a cute name, but I will call you Esa for short!" cried the little girl as she walked away with Esarosa in her hands. Esarosa kept squirming in the little girl's grip, but entually she gotten use to it. "My name is Lilly, and I'm a really good friend of Rosie, so we will get to see Jenna a lot!" Esarosa was kind of relieved to still get see her mother. When the Lilly arrived at her house, she prepared Esarosa a little bed out of a card board box with blankets and pillows in it. "You're going to love it here!" Lilly cried with excitment. Esarosa was put down in the box. She kept nibbling, biting, and yanking on the blankets in the box. "You must be hungry! I will get puppy food from down stairs. You stay here, understand that?" Esarosa wagged her little tail, but she really didn't care much. Lilly zoomed down the stairs and just before you know it she has the puppy food in her hands. Esarosa didn't like the food, because of the smell, so she refused to eat it. Lilly said, "Okay then, I will just lie the food next to your bed." then she trotted out of the bedroom to go outside with the other kids on the block. Esarosa was hungry, so she took a little nibble out of the food. "Ew! This tastes nasty!" she said as she shrieked and sticked her tongue out. For the rest of the night she didn't eat anything. Days pasted by and Esarosa gotten to see her parents a lot. One day Esarosa walked to the beach to see her dad at the wrecked boat lying on the shore. "Hi dad." Esarosa replied as she walked toward him. "Hey Esa. How are you doing?" said Balto as he given her a greating rub against her neck. "Just fine." she said with a little smile. "Esa, I need to tell you something, but promise not to get mad." Balto said very seriously. "I promise dad, so what is it?" said Esarosa very calmly. "Well............ you're part wolf. Your great grandmother was a pure wolf who had pups with a husky." Esarosa stared in suprise. "Me? A wolf? But they're one of the strongest canine species! I can't be one, because I am well.......... not as powerful and unique like them." "It's true, so you're not mad at me or anything like that, right?" Balto said to Esarosa. "No, I'm not mad Daddy. I just feel, amazed and proud to be one of them!" she said in excitment and suprise. The day went on, and Balto and Esarosa went on talking on the beach. *Esarosa means white wolf in native american! *I will continue the story very soon!
