Emerald and her brother had been trying for a long time now to get there mother to break up with stele. They still didn't think there father is dead and they thought there mother very unfaithful for being with stele. They still loved her very much but they did not like stele. They also didn't like there Sister Margo. How dare she like Steele? Giving up on there father like that... what a witch... They certainly didn't think there father was dead they didn't think that Steele was good and they really didn't think there sister was sane. But until they could prove there father was alive they were stuck with Steele.

If mom had to choose a new mate why Steele? And why does she have to choose a new mate at all? I don't know disaster. But I don't like it. Emerald... im running away. WHAT?!?!?! WHY?? I can't stand Steele and I want to find dad. So do I, but that doesn't mean im going to take off right before the sermon! I have an idea... we'll both go after the seramony when everyone is asleep. I don't know. Two heads are better then one. We will find him faster and we can take care of each other. Okay... Deal.

~The sermon~

Doesn't mom look pretty? Yeah she does I wish we weren't going but we have to find dad and I hate Steele. Me too. I hope will be back soon... I do too.

As they watched from above there mother was pronounced married to Steele and they kissed. Her White fur gleamed in the moon light and everyone watched happily as she kissed his cheek. She secretly was still greaving the loss of max and hoped to god that one day he would be back... she liked Steele but they were only getting married because he said he would leave if she didn't marry him and she needed help supporting and taking care of her kids. She still loved max and if she knew her kids were going to run away she would have never gotten married to Steele. But she didn’t know her kids were leaving and she wouldn’t know till later why they had left.

~that night~

Everyone was sleeping quietly except for two 8 month old wolves lying towards the front of the den.

Is everyone sleeping? I think so... They watched for a few more minutes just to be sure then quietly walked to their mother and kissed her goodbye... They would miss her dearly and although they knew she would be sad they also knew there journey was very important and in the end it would be alright. They started to make there way out of the packs main area and walked down the hill past the fern and evergreen tree's. It was beautiful, the moon and the stars lit there way and no one was going to stop them. They kept walking until they found two large rocks pushed together that formed a den. They went inside and searched the place for any animals or signs that someone was living there. They found none. All they found was a beautiful piece of the wall covered in crystals and icicles. They shined brightly with the most beautiful and vibrant of blues. They found a spot and layer down and went to sleep...

Hours later they woke up to the sun and saw that the cave was now alive with color! And beauty! The sun hit the crystals perfectly and made them shine red, orange, pink, and blue. It lit up the whole room and made designs on the walls. Intrigued by its beauty they knew they still had to keep going. So they left and made there way down hill where they came across a dog sled team. WHOA!!! What the heck is that?? I don't know but why are those wolves pulling it? It must be food they found away to bring back!!! That’s amazing!! Lets follow them and ask them if they know are father! Yeah good idea!

So they followed the team into the town of Nome, where they found it was not a wolf pack. They saw many dogs they thought to be wolves and were very intrigued by what they saw. They were being fed by funny looking wolves that stood on two legs and there paws had extra toes!! And they were misshapen. And what happened to there faces!!! Oh this was so used these wolves looked weird!!! And the wolves standing on four legs they were so much smaller!!! And some of them even had ears that flopped down in stead of standing up!!

Look disaster, these wolves are weird!! I must agree!! Then from behind them... They are not wolves! We are dogs and the things on two legs are people or humans. They turned around slowly and came face to face with a VERY large dog with pointed ears it was Black and silver with big blue eyes... Your one of the... dogs... pulling the wooden thing!! Yes, im a sled dog and my name is tolus (pronounced ta-loose) and who may I ask... are you two?? I am Emerald and this is my brother Disaster, we ARE wolves and are looking for are father. Have you seen him? What does he look like? He is all black except for white ear tips and he has green eyes. His name is max... Yeah I have seen him. But you won't find him here. Where did he go?? He was in White Mountain, but please don't go just yet... wait a few days and eat as much as you like and get well prepared. What do you think disaster? I think it’s a good idea im starving!!! Okay we will stay.

Over the next three days they stayed at taluses house in his basement. His family was hardly ever home and he had plenty of food. Emerald was starting to want to stay for she liked tolus more and more he even took her out to dinner!! He himself was only a year old and had just started on the sled team when he met her. He was in love and so was she but they had to leave soon to find her father. What would happen?

That night Tolus took emerald out to dinner again and proposed. She said yes. They decided they would get married when she came back after finding there dad. They decided to stay at a hotel and sparks flew. They had a would be one night stand if it wasn’t for the fact that they were getting married later.

The next morning emerald and disaster set off again and emerald promised she would come back to Tolus. They went west from Nome and then north until they came upon a forest where they stopped and rested. Falling asleep to the gentle whooshing of the trees.

In the morning they made there way through the forest and up to White Mountain where they ran into another dog. Hello there whets your name? My name is tile said the little silver female. What’s your name? Im emerald and this is disaster. Well hello! Umm we are looking for are father he is a solid black wolf with white ear tips and his name is max have you seen him? OHH yes I have!! Follow me! And with that she sprinted away with them right on her heals.

They stopped at a veterinarian’s office and snuck in through a broken window. And that’s when they saw him. DAD!! The wolf looked up with his sorrowful green eyes. But he was unable to speak. Dad? What’s wrong? Tile spoke up. He was in a fight and his vocal cords were torn up. But don't worry the doctor fixed his throat and is going to fix his vocal cords tomorrow. Even then he won't be able to speak for awhile though. OH okay. Well we will be back after your surgery to get you dad.

So they found a place to sleep and waited till noon and picked up there father. Who was still unable to speak? They decided to wait a couple days until they felt it was safe to head home and in those couple days Disaster found a mate. He married Tile and she was going to come with them to the pack. So a few days later they left for Nome and after a few days of walking they made it.

Disaster, Max, and tile waited in an alleyway while Emerald ran off to tolus house. When she got there she was happy to see him and he was ready to go. Only one thing he had a pup.

Who is this pup? This is my son, axel. He is three months old his mother died in child birth, he is the only one. Well what do you want to do? I want to take him with. He is a good pup and will be a good wolf too. Okay. Axel and Emerald bonded quickly. He was a solid black pup except he had blue eyes and a silver tail tip. They came back to the alley and collected the others and went on there way.

After three days they made it to there packs territory and found there mother... and Steele. When she saw them she ran straight to them.

Oh my babies!! Where were you? I missed you so much!! I thought you died or got attacked or got lost... or died!! Oh I love you so much!! And she kissed and hugged them until they thought they would pass out. Then she saw Max. Max?? I thought... I thought you were dead. Tears weld up in her eyes and she hugged and kissed him too. I missed you. I missed you too. The first words he had spoken since the attack... everyone was astounded. All though his voice was scratchy it was still wonderful to hear again. Emerald told the whole story and even introduced there mates and her step son. Steele ruined it.

Oh goodie your back. And what a lovely story but how bout I end it now. You see we got married while you were gone so she is mine. Steele to bad for you that because they thought me dead she never got a divorce from me therefore she is still my wife. WE WILL SEE ABOUT THAT!!! And Steele attacked.

At first it was a bloody mess of things you could only see black and white clashing and blood splattering white and teeth and claws biting scratching and tearing until... Steele came out on top. See! I win. Not quiet yet. And max threw Steele with all his strength and he hit a tree and was instantly killed as his skull had been crushed. The other wolves of the pack dragged him deep into the forest never to be seen again.

Are you okay? Now that you’re with me I am. And with that frank cleaned max's wounds and layer beside him. Everything was right once again.

9 months later~

Tolus and emerald had there first litter and just days apart was max and frans litter and 5 weeks after that disaster and tile’s first litter. All was good.

Tolus and emerald have 4pups 3 boys and a girl. Two boys were solid white. One boy was jet black except for the white underbelly, eye patches, and tail tip. The only girl was jet black with silver patches all over her body and one blood red paw. No one knows where that trait comes from though. All the pups had ice blue eyes.

Max and Fran had 1 pup a little boy. He was white with black ear/tail tips, paws, and eye patches. He had brown eyes.

Tile and Disaster had 7pups. 5 girls and 2boys. Three girls were identical to tile. Two girls were Jet black. One boy was Silver with a black tail and face. One boy was Black with silver legs and ears. The girls had green eyes the boys had brown eyes.
