It had been about two or three mounths after what happend. Songa and Zorro were living as wild dogs again, and thier pups were growing strong. One day, it was gently snowing, and the family was playing infront of thier grandpa's boat. "So, you havn't seen Nakita after what happend?" Balto asked. Songa and Zorro shook thier heads. Songa felt a little scratch at her paw. "Momma, Im hungry." Diana whined

"Dad,I have to go,thier getting hungrey."Songa said."Okay,but try to patch things up with Nikita,mabey she feels sorry now."Balto said.

"NO! I mean, I don't want to risk loosing any more pups." Songa said. "Oh, well then, Zorro, you go with her." Balto said. "Yes sir." Zorro said and walked behind Songa. As they walked to the meatlocker, a scent, one she had smelt before. "Zorro, I'll go, you stay with the pups." She said. "Uhh, okay." Zorro replyd.

Zorro pinned her with a loud thump on the hard wood floor."What are you talking about?"Zorro growled.She smiled evily."YOU TELL ME NIKITA!"Zorro threatend."All I have to do is bark and my owner will bargde in her and see two dogs trying to kill me!You think of the rest..."She laughed."Songa...take then pups.....Their not old enough to hear this bad lauguage."Zorro said not taking his eyes of Nikita.He but his paw slightly above her throught."Now,tell me......what pups?"He growled.Songa had not told Zorro what she'd saw that night,so Zorro asummed she was lieing about any pups."OKAY I'LL TALK!That night....you thought I was Songa....the night in the boiler room....you remeber..."Nikita crooned quitetly."I....I....no....I diddn't!......"Zorro growled."You diddn't know."Nikita asked."but I.....I DID!"Nikita laughed.

He loosened his grip of Nikita.He stood for a while.Thinking.Nikira stood up and blocked the exit."Oh come on!Enough with the nice good boy act...You know you want me ."Nikita smiled."Nikita....I'm goinng to ask you nicly...move outta the door."Zorro said slightly growling.Nikita diddn;t bugde."Remeber when I said my owner will come running at the sound of my bark?.......ROOOOOOOUUUUUGGGHHH"

Nikita barked repedily.Zorro slammed into her and knocked her over,he door way was cleared so he burst on the streets.Nikita beeing the spoiled dog she is, diddn't take the time to run... she was slow.So Zorro quickly out ran her.He stopped at the beach."mmm....oohhh....they are my pups.....but not intitionaly.......those poor things......they'll never have a father.....They will but...how could I?........My mate is Songa not Nikita....she has distroied lives just to make her's perfect......"he said to himself."ooohhhh.......now what?"he sighed...

"You go and take care of your pups.." A voise said behind him. He jumped around and saw Songa behind him. "Zorro, I should have told you, I saw Nakita leaving the boiler room that night. And I new what happend, but my dad said to wait and see, and so far we can't tell if it's trure." Songa said, nuzzling him. A tear fell down her face. "Don't cry.." He said. "Trust me, things will work out. And mabey.. she's not, but even if she is... I will still stay with our family." Zorro said. About a week later, Nanook and Dagger's wounds healed. But Dagger now had two scars on his cheek, wich made Songa's blood boil even more. "Mommy, why won't my boo-boo's go away?" Dagger asked, not knowing that they would stay for the rest of life. "There scares hon, they wont go away. But you also won't feel them." Songa said. "Oh okay!" Dagger smiled, he was happy that they wouldn't hurt like they used to. "Oh, and daddy will take care of Nakita for doing that to you." Songa said, wich made his smile grow even bigger.

"yeah buddy."She smiled."yay!"He smiled and chased is tail."hmh hm hmm."Songa giggled."You know what,Shade has a scar too."Songa smiled.Dagger had looked up to Shade for his bravary."Wow."He said and Rased off to playfight with his siblings.Zorro walked by with his head low."uhhhhhh"He sighed

"Whats wrong?" Songa asked. He lifted his head and she saw a claw mark on his face. "What happend?!"" Songa gasped. "I chased Nakita, and I sliped into her house. But I didn't mean to! And her owner hit me." He sighed. "Okay thats it!" Songa growled. "No Wait! Thiers somthing else.." Zorro started. "What?" Songa asked. He looked at her, Songa could see sadness in his eye's. Oh no She thought. "He frowned and looked back at his feet.

"Nikita..."He sighed."oh..."Songa sighed too."it's been like three mounth."

"How many are there?" Songa asked. "I don't know, they havn't been born." He sighed. "Daddy! I got's a scare!" Dagger said. "Haha, yes you do son." Zorro laughed. Dagger walked proudly back out to his siblings, but as the two adults turned they heard one of thier pups cry out. "NAKITA!! SHE"S COMING!!" They said. They looked, and sure enough, she was walking tward them. "Oh great!" They sighed. Songa herded all the pups up and hid them."OOOHHHHH Zorro will you come back home with me?I feel awful."Nikita lied.Song noticed how small her belly was."Okay,ethier you've allready had your pups,or thiers like one or two of them!"Songa growled."Songa I can't-ooouuuuhhhhh-Talk right now..."Nikita said."ZOORROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo!"NNikita screamed.Songa backed up."go on...."She cried. "I will only go if my real mate comes with me!" Zorro said, in a ferm voice. Nakita growled to herself. "Fine!" She finnely said. They walked back to her house and there were no pups in site. "Are you sure you feel awfull?" Songa asked. "Uh YEAH! I feel oooohhh, so bbaaaad." Nakita said, putting her paw over one of her eye's. "What a joke!" Songa said to herself. The Nikita's eyes grew."OOOOHHHHHHHH HELP GEt MY OWNER OH NOOOOO I'M NOT KIDDING THIS TIME!!!!"She yelled.Zorro looked at Songa."You know what to do,I'm I guy,I'll be in the kitchen.He left."SONGA AHHHH HELP!" Nikita yelled. S**t! Songa thought. Her owner came in. About an hour later, Nakita was very tired. "Its just so sad." She heard her owner say. "Three four pups, only one lived." She said. Nakita's head shot up. "What?" She whisperd. She looked at her side, and her owner was right, only one pup lied next to her. It was a very small pup, but it was healthy. "No." Nakita cried. "Im very sorry." Songa and Zorro said. Nikita growled at Songa."WHAT DID YOU DO?"The growling turned into snapping."YOU KILLED THEM!"She barked."GET OUTTA HER YOU @#%^& !"Nikita growled.As they left Songa saw a tear run down Nikita's face."don't worry little boy....my little boy....my little boy......I promise nobody will ever hurt you....your my little boy."She sand in a lulaby voise.Songa left.She had to somway tell her she diddn't do anything to them... Nikita licked the little pup carfully."oh no.......your the runt.....oh please live.....for mommy."She cried.The puppy breathed slowly.Nikita's owners called the vet after a while he said the pup will live......but have sever problums it's whole life. "Gosh! I can't beleve that... that b**ch!" Songa shouted. "Its fine, but I don't know why, she thought you did somthing to them." Zorro said. Songa looked at her feet as they walked. "Don't think about it." Zorro said. "I-I can't help it." Songa cried. ".........."Songa mummbled."She was probably just mad."zorro said."............"Songa spoke nothing but silence. "I-I oohhhhh!" She cried, she sobbed on Zorro's sholder as thy walked home. As the pups saw them they came running. Songa looked up. She new that somthing was wrong. "MOMMA! APOLLO! GONE!" Was all Songa heard. "One at a time kids." She said. Little Danah steped up. "we can't find him nowhere!"She cried.Songa looked at Zorro.Then the search began."APOLLO APOLLO!"They cried. "Looking, for this?" A voice asked. They turned and gasped. "Let him go!" They cried A large figure.Male.Had him grabbed in his jaws."AAHHH MOMMY DADDY HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPP!"He cried.He threw him to the ground he picked him up again. "Let him go!" Zorro shouted. Then, out of no where, the male was takled by a larg, brown figure. Balto. "Let my grandson go!" He growled in his ear. The dog droped him and ran off. "Thank you dad!" Songa said. "Just because im old, doesn't mean I can't save a few more lives." Balto laughed. "Thanks grandpa!" Apollo barked. "Hold up,then who was that?"Zorro asked puzzled.Songa looked at Balto."Do you thing Nikita had anything to do with it?"She asked."I dunno.........We'd better be carful...."Balto growled. About six weeks later, Songa could see Nakita out with her son. He seemed to be doing fine. He looked like a mix between her and Zorro. But as she got closer she could see him stumbilng and falling with every step.She Helped him walk."It's okay Eathen."She smiled.He was underwait and could barly hold himself up.He was on a type of medication and his ribs where viable."Nikta....hey...."Songa smiled.She for once felt bad about what she had said,but it was Nikita's fault of it."Get away from MY SON and I!"She snarled. Im just trying to help, a first-timer needs help." Songa said calmly. Nakita snaped at her. "Oh, fine but don't go crying to Zorro when you need help!" Songa scoffed and left. "Momma, how's come never gets to see daddy?" Eathen asked. "B- Because daddy is with another girl right now, but he loves you." She lied, Zorro had never seen him. Songa had trugded back to Zorro."She wont excpet help from me !"Songa growled."I fell like I need to help." Zorro sighed.He walked to find them.Then he saw Nikita."Nikita?"He asked.She pointed her ears up looked. She slowly walked to him with Eathen.Zorro almost cried when he saw the pitaful puppy."Who you is?" Eathen asked."I'm daddy!"Zorro smiled.Eathen takled him."Hi daddy my name is Eathen,can we play?"He barked.He looked at Nikita. Thats momma!" Eathen said, thinking he didn't know who she was. "I know who she is son." Zorro said. Hearing the worn son come out of Zorro's mouth, made Nakita's heart beat faster. Eathen tried to jump on his dad, but because he was so weak he fell. Zorro lied down and let his crawl ontop of his head.They played for a while,the Eathen go to asking questions."Daddy......who dat girl mommy no like?"Eathen asked."What?"Zorro asked"Mommuh said dat you were wif anoter mummah,and den mommuh said dat she wus mean,and dat she diddn't wike me." Eathen said. "Oh did she? And what else did she say?" Zorro asked. "That she is a b**ch." Eathen said. Zorro's eyes widened."Oh no,son that's a BAD word!"Zorro said."Uh huh uh huh uh huh I uhhuhh didd't uh huh."He started tearing up."Oh,it's okay boy,I know you diddn't know,just don't say it again okay?" Zorro smiled. "Yeth daddy!" Eathen said. "Now I have to talk to your mommy about seying that, ok?" Zorro winked. Eathen nodded. "Nakita!" Zorro started. "Yes hon." She said, not even trying to corect herself. "I might not be your mate, but I AM still his father and I don't approve of this cussing stuff." He growled."Oh sure Zorro hun."She smiled. "STOP SAYING THAT!"He growled. "Oh, but why? We have our family now, don't you love us?" Nakita asked. Zorro was taken aback. What was he going to say? He couldn't just say no. He took a deep breath. "I-I... go away wolf dog!" Nakita spat, walking inside her house. "Is you the girl momma don't like?" Eathen asked. "Yes, and she needs to stop before thing get worse!" Songa said to little Eathen. "Well your very nice. I duno why se don't like you." Eathen said. "Thanks kid." Songa smiled, rubing his head with her paw. " EATHEN GET IN HERE NOW!" Nikita Screamed.Eathen ran as fast as he could."Poor kid......"Songa sighed. Songa walked back home. She felt realy bad for poor little Eathen. But what could she do? She wanted to help, but Nakita would not allow it. "Songa..." Zorro sihed. "Whats wrong?" She asked. "It's Eathen,poor little guy,I feel bad for him having to put up with her."He sighed. "It's Eathen,poor little guy,I feel bad for him having to put up with her."He sighed. "I know." Songa growled. "But he is so weak, he tried to play with me and fell." Zorro sighed. The couple walked into thier den. "Momma, whats wrong with daddy?" Danah asked. "You didn't tell them?" Songa asked. "No.." Zorro said. He sat infront of them and told them what happend. "Im sorry daddy." Nanook said. "Its okay son." He smiled. It was late, so they fell asleep.About three mounths later, Eathen had been taken from Nakita and was working to be a sled dog. He was puut just behind lead dog, and was working very hard. One day, the puppy sled team was running very far from town, the musher was pleased with the work. But little Eathen was struggling to keep up. "Please.. slow... down!" Eathen cried. He felt his heart beat very fast. Suddely he felt his heart pinch and he fell with a whimper.They rushed him onto the sled and ran quickly back to Nome. The took him to the vet. Zorro came to Nakita's home to check up on Eaten, but he didn't know what had happend. He could see Nakita crying on her porch, she was crying very hard. "Nakita? Where's Eathen?" He asked. "He.....had a heart attack.......while he was racing.......and...........he .....he..he..he...diddn't make it......"She cried."no....no..NO NO!Not MY SON!He Raced inside.He saw him lieng on the ground with people crowded.He was faintly breathing.He would stop,then start again. "NOOOOOOO No no no no no no not little Eathen...no."Zorro said to himself.The licked his forehead."No buddy..no...no...Don't give up!No buddy,Fight!I'm not loosing you!"He said to his deing son."D-dad?"He cried."OH BOY DON'T GIVE UP!"Zorro cried."D-dad....I......I don't wana die....please....help me...."Eathen cried.Zorro but his muzzle under his head."Don't go..."He cried. Eathen's heart pinched again. He got a scary look in his eye's. "DADDY!" He shouted. He closed his eye's. "Eathen?" Zorro said. He poked him with his paw, he didn't move. "EATHEN!!" He souted before running out of the house. "Did he make it?" Nakita asked. "No.." Zorro cried and ran back home.Songa could see him crying. "Zorro! Whats wrong?" She asked. "Eathen... was racing and, had a heart attack. And. He. He's.. Gone!" He cried. Songa whidend her eye's. She coudn't say a word. "He's in a better place.....gone from Nikita...."Songa cried. "Yes, but... He didn't..." Zorro cried. "I have to stop. I can't let the pups see me like this." Zorro sighed. "Yes. But what do you think Nakita will do?" Songa asked. "I. Don't. Know." He sighed. "Hopefully she'll move on and leave us alone..."He said."But because she fought me,and the pups died,she thought It was my fought.She's not done with us...."She growled.Meanwhile Nikita was taking a walk through town.She needed to get away from that house. Why... Why my little Eathen? She would ask herslef. "And its all that wolfdog's fault!" She growled. Tears fell down her face. "Miss? Are you okay?" A voice asked. She turned to see a male she had never seen before. "Get away from me!"She growled."No.........You seem hurt....."He smiled."My name's Carter."He laughed. After staring at him, she finnely fell for his, so far sweetness. "Im, Nakita." She said. "Nice to meet you." He greeted. It turns out they had been walking and were at the boiler room. "Shall we?" He asked, he was surely trying to win her over. "Sure." She smiled and they walked in. Zorro and Songa slept with there puppies. Not knowing Carter was tracking them down. He found thier cave and walked in. Zorro could see a dark figure at the front of the cave. "Balto? Can I help you sir?" Zorro asked, think it was Balto. "Who's Ba... Oh, oh yes. Come out. I need you to help me!" Carter lied. Zorro stood and walked out. "Balto? Where are you?" He asked. Then he felt a sharp pain in his back. He looked back. "D-Do I... Know you?" He asked. "Don't you remember?" Carter asked. "CARTER!" Zorro barked happliy. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "TO do what the bear failed to!" Carter scoffed and jumped on Zorro. "W-Why? I thouht we were friends. Don't you remember? We used to play toge-." He was stoped. "Yeah I know! But what you didn't know was that my old girl. Remeber, Legna? Well she was all over you!" Carter spat. "I didn't know th-" Again Zorro was cut off. "I told her you were already taken, but did she stop? NO!! So when I was in town, that bear tried to kill me. ut I made a deal with him to kill you" Carter coldly said. Zorro whidend his eye's. "You! Your he reason my family is gone!" He growled before knocking Carter off. Zorro rammed him into the wall.He bit him rabidly."RRRAAAAGGGHHHHH!"Carter roard."THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!"Zorro growled.Carter was able to pin Zorro."LISTEN YOU STAY AWAY FROM NIKITA OKAY?"Carter Growled. Nikita? He wants Nikita?Hhahahhaah! I'll follow along with him,and act afraid, he'll leave me alone. Zorro thought."Oh Oh Okay okay okay,I promise I wont ever see Nikita again,Never!Oh I'm so scared!!!"Zorro lied."Good."Carter Scofted. Carter felt smthing knock him over. It was small. "Stay away from my daddy!" Apollo growled. Daddy? He asked himself. He saw more small objects around him. "Yeah, go away!" Diana snarled. The pups attacced him. He ran away bleeding. "Thats my pups!" Zorro laughed. "Were like paranahs!!!"Dagger laughed.Carter waited outside Nikita's house.SHe steeped outside."Nikita,you had a litter of pups with him ?"Carter asked."Oh,uh no,Thier not mine.....thoses little brats are Songa's too."Nikita growled."God I wanted pups...."She said.meaning to say I wanted to have pups with him ."Oh realy........?"Carter smiled. She smiled back at him. "Come on in." She smiled. "Oh, but ladies first." He winked. She walked back inside. "Soooooooo......."Nikita said.Once they got inside things got alittle akward because nobody knew what to say. Nakita got an I dea in her head. "OH, its so cold!" She whined. He looked at her funny, it wasn't cold inside at all. But then he caut in to what she was trying to do, and smiled. "Let me warm you up." He smiled. She saw his face come over her sholder. She smiled at him. "Oh, why thank you Carter." She giggled. The next day Carter woke up and licked Nikita on the cheeck."Morning baby...."He smiled."Hmhmhmhmhmh....."She laughed."Lookie here,I gotta get going...wana come to my place?"He asked."Sure babe."She giggled.They walked and walked until they eneded up in an alley."AAhhhh...Home sweet home...."He yawned."Huh?You live here?Why not stay with me?"Nikita asked."Oh....why....if you insisist."He laughed. Meanwhile. Songa and Zorro were walking in town. When they saw Nakita and Carter they busted out laughing. "Oh, and I thought she was in love with me!! Ohh,nnnooo." Zorro laughed. "He's not going to stay with her for long." Songa laughed. Nakita heard somthing behind her. She saw Songa and Zorro, she was burning with anger. "She's just doing this to get me mad." She growled. Then an idea came to her head. This will let them know that I can get someone! She thought. She leaned closer to Carter. But to her shock her kissed her, wich was what she was going to do, but she didn't think he would do that. Songa and Zorro's eye's whidend. "Wow Nikita.........You got the greatest,bravest mate in the world."They laughed."Hahahaha what ever."Nikita rolled her eyes and walked off. About two weeks later, Nakita's stomach was slightly bigger. Her owner took her tto the vet and she was execting puppies. Carter came to he house one morning. "Carter! Oh Carter its true." She cheered. "What? What happend?" He asked. Thinking somthing was wrong. "We're having puppies!" She cheered. "P-P-Puppies.." He smiled. "YES!"Nikita screamed Dancing about."WOW!"Carter screamed "I hear Nakita and Carter are having pups." Songa said. "Yeah, but who cares." Zorro smerked. Not many weeks later, Nakita began to hurt very bad. "Oh, oh Carter help." She cried. "Are they coming?" He asked. "EEEEEEE I think soooo....."She screatched."Um um um um Okay...um....what do I do?"Carter Barked.Luckaliy the owner came. "The puppies!" She cried. About thirdy minutes later, four puppies lied beside Nakita. "Names....How about Laka and Rocket for these two."She started. She picked up a male pup. He reminded her of Nakita's old son. "Lets name him Eathan." She smiled. The last no-name pup was female. "Lets name her Bayah." She finnely said. Bayah, Laka,Rocket and.... Eathan Nakita thought. She almost cired."All my beauiful pups."She smiled. Her owner left the room. "Carter you can come in now." Nakita called. Carter walked in. "Wat are thier names?" He asked. "Jupiter, Bayah, Netune, and Eathan." Nakita yawned. "You sound tired. I'll let you get some sleep. I'll ceck on again." Carter whisperd before walking out. Nakita yawned one last time, and fell asleep. When she woke up,Carter was close by with a collor on."C-Carter?I thought you were a stray..."Nikita asked. "Well, I was, but when I played the starrving dog trick your owner took me in. And then she realized I was the father of the pups." He smiled. Nakita smiled, this was like a dream-come-true. She had a mate, pups, and a great home. What could go wrong? But then,of course,one thing popped into her mind.Songa and Zorro."Well......since you are the pups father, why don't you take them outside?I have to settle somthing....with an old friend....."Nikita smiled and pranced away. "But the pups are so young, don't we have to wait?" Carter asked. "Oh, right." Nakita gigled. About three weeks alter they took the pups out for the first time. "I ave to go Catter, wach the pups please." Nakita said before leaving. She pranced off.To Songa and Zorro's den.She finally arravied."All part of my plan."She laughed.She pranced into the den.she bit down on Songa's ear real hard because she was asleep."WWWAAAAAHHHHHHHH NIKITA!"Songa roared as she woke up. She chassed her around.Nikita ran quickly under a bush with red berries,when she came out she was covered in red berry juice. perfect she thought.Songa ran after her,carful so that no berries got on her.Nikita boomerranged a branch onto her mouth.SHe ran after Nikita with the red juice dripping from her mouth. Nikita colapsed in the front yard."AWAAWWWOOOOO!"She squealed.Songa ran onto the front yard.Nikita gave her an Evil look.She howled on purpose.Her owner came out to see Songa with a red liquied around her mouth and on Nikita."AAAAAhHHHHHH!"She screamed.She thought the Berry juice...was blood...... "Get out of here!" Her owner cried. "You little brat!" SOnga growled before running. Carter heard the yelling and looked out the door. "NAKITA!!" He screamed. He ran to her side. "W-What? Who did this?" He asked. "S-S-Songa... she.." Nakita lied. "Nakita, hang in there." Carter cried. "I'll take care of her!" Carter growled. He followed her scent, leading him to her. "GOT YA!" He snarled before jumping on her. He riped at her neck. "WHO ARE YO??" Songa shouted. "Why did you hurt Nakita?" Carter hissed, pushin his paw on her throught. "W-W- What... Are you... Talking about?" Songa asked, she couldn't breath. "She came home bleeding! Don't act like you don't know."He growled. "Songa!" Zorro cried. He takeld Carter. "Leave her alone!" He growled. Zorro was much bigger that him and Carter ran away. "Songa!" Zorro cried again. After taking a few deep breaths,Songa could talk."N-Nikita bit me,when I chased her she ran through a berry bush,Ohh.....They thought it was blood....."Songa grumbled. "Lets go." Zorro whisperd.
