Jenna-how could you do this to me? You know I would never do anything like this to you. I know....I know that I will get my revenge on Steele...The fox...And Niju. And I'll find a way to win you back.
"Oh, Steele stop it!" Jenna barked. Steele laughed as his pups started to bite him.
"Jenna, I didn't even know you were going to have puppies! This....this is the happiest day of my life." He smiled. But for some reason, Jenna pitied him, and felt guilty towards Steele. "Jenna, is something wrong?" He asked.
"Oh!-um, n-no. Just a little shakey from giving birth." She replied.
"Oh. Well, if you're hungry, I'm going to get something to eat. Do you want anything?" He asked.
"Well, I guess some sausage we could share." She said in a low, sexy voice. Steele smiled and opened the door. A cool breeze blew through his soft, black fur.
"Then I'll be right back." Steele chuckled and started to head to the meat place.
"Phew, hes gone." Jenna whispered to herself. These pups are special. They are NOT his! But he will find out soon enough...but...he looked so handsom....and..Am I really falling in love with Steele? Do I love Steele, or Balto?
"Huff..huff...aha! There it is." Steele stopped near the boiler room; looked into the meat store. "Jenna wants sausage...hehehe!" He glanced through the door. Almost time for his lunch break-I think I know what he'll be eating!... And what me and Jenna will be sharing.
A couple of minutes passed, and the store clerk finnaly put a sign on the door that read: Gone to lunch. Be back soon! Then he walked into a seperate room, a baggie in his left hand. Steele started to make his way into the meat room, when a customer came to the door. He hid behind the counter. The customer opened the door, but stopped to read the sign. He shrugged and started to walk away. Steele began to sneak around the counter, checking the store to make sure nobody was coming. Then he made his way to the meat locker, spotting some sausage. Oh joy. Atleast he wouldn't get caught this time......hopefully. He scrambled inside, and took a second look around him. He grabbed the juciest sausages in his mouth, and took off like a flash.
Steele laughed at the sheer stupitity of it all. Humans could be so gullable! Ha! "To easy.", he chuckled softly. Before he took another step, he heard a rustling sound in a nearby bush. He started to make his way to Jenna's, walking a little bit faster. Is someone following me? He thought, suspecting it might have been Balto. Duh. "Alright, Bingo,wolf-dog, whatever you want to be called. Come on out so I can kick your ass!" He yelled.
"My names Balto, you bastard!" Balto came out from the shadows; his hiding place. Steele frowned.
"What's the matter, wolf-dog? Jenna turned her back on you?" Steele laughed, dropping the sausage links on the cold, hard, ground.
"SHUT-UP!" Balto screamed, more angry than he was when....
"If we are to cross the great waters, we must go now!" Nava yelled to his pack. "Yeah, maybe Nijus wrong! Not Nava!" A black maimute, Misty, stated. "Yeah!" Another brown and white wolf, Ashton, agreed. "Balto, you must lead the pack across the ice bridge." Nava declared. Balto nodded. "Alright-get with a buddy incase either of you neep help!" Balto ordered. "Mush!" He said. Most of the dogs didn't understand-only Misty. But she stayed behind with the others. "I-I mean move out!" Balto said again, and started to lead the pack. Aleu and Nava were at the back of the line; Aleu stayed with Nava incase he needed help-and then, in an instant-he did. the ice where he was standing had cracked and now was floating away from the rest of the pack. Aleu managed to jump off of the ice before it floated away, but she decided to help Nava get back to the pack. She made a daring leap to reach him, and unfortunatly didn't make it. she was hanging on the side of the ice panel, and was slipping. "Oh no! Nava!" Aleu heard wolves voices in the distance. Nava tried to help her onto the ice, but was only pulling her to the other side because he was to old and weak. What he didn't know what was going to happen to Aleu, could kill her! She was about to get crushed between two chunks of ice! "Aleu!" Balto yelled into the distance, watching her dive into the icy waters. She began to swim through what it seemed like a tunnel, exept it was filled with water and was made of ice. The coldness hurt her like a million knives, stabbing deep within her. Then she saw an exit-and the surface of the water. She tried to squeeze through, but the opening was to small.Black spots appeared before her eyes. She could hear a buzzing sound in her ears. Air. She needed air. She was going to pass out if she didn't make it through! Then, with one gigantic push, she managed to get through, and to the surface. "PWAH!" She took a deep breath, finally made it onto the ice. There, she shook water off of her damp fur; heard a growling noise-and saw Niju climbing on! "Your dreams and magic tricks won't save you now, Nava!" Niju charged at him, and knocked him to the ground. Then, Aleu stepped onto the stage. She tried to jump over him and go for his neck, but he evaded her attack. Niju pinned her to the ground. "What are you doing to me?!" Aleu cried. "You will find out soon enough!" Niju said with a laugh.
Back with the pack, Balto heard many screams and yells from afar. "Stay here, guys. I have to go back for Aleu and Nava!" He ordered the pack, and began to swim to the other ice panels. When he arrived from his swim, he saw Niju on top of Aleu.He was killing her.
"I am not going to stand for this crap any longer!" Balto screamed, furious. "You took her away from me!! And I bet YOU ganged up with Niju and the fox too, huh?!" Balto screamed at the top of his lungs. "No. I don't belive.....anything anymore...WHY WOULD GOD GIVE SOMEONE LIKE YOU A BETTER LIFE?!!???!!!" Balto started to freak. If I don't stop, I'm literally going to give myself a heart attack...but....but I'm so ANGREY!!....what will I do? Balto franticly paced back and forth, shaking his head and keeping his eye on Steele. But he started to panic. And then, the worst began. Balto began to lose his voice - and was accually having a heart attack!! "No!" Was Balto's last, fast spoken word before he fell to the ground with a sickening crack. But it wasn't his bones, Steele thought, in dispite that he wished it was. It was only a really big twig. "Aw man!"Steele picked up the meat in his jaws, and began to run back to Jenna's, leaving Balto to die.
Jenna began to worrie as Steele became later every minute. The pups started to cry and wiggle their way around with their noses, searching for their mother. They must be hungry, Jenna thought. Then all of her thoughts flew away like a snap when she heard the door of the room slam open - and in came Steele with....dirty sausage. Oh boy....really....yummy. "Hey, Jenna." Steele said with a sly. He walked slowly inside and closed the door. Jenna became cautious.
"Steele...I-I have to tell you something.." Jenna started. "These puppies..." her voice trailed off into nothing. She was afraid to tell him that these puppies weren't his - they were Balto's.
"I know, I know, a blessing, right?" Steele replied. Jenna nodded, but didn't say anything. "Jenna, are you alright?" Steele asked.
"...Yeah.." Jenna lied, and began to clean her puppies. "So...how did your trip go? Did the butcher catch you?" Jenna asked.
"The trip there was fine - but that wolf-dog, bingo showed up!" Steele replied, a cold look on his face. Oh no! Jenna thought. What if...what if Balto was attacked by Steele and.....Her thoughts trailed off into an ocean of hatred..of Steele. "He said I stole you from him! That he would get revenge on me, the fox and Niju. That stupid idiot...bingo or whatever." Steele stopped and noticed Jenna's hateful stare. He became suspisious.
"Balto." She replied. "His name is Balto." She repeated. "Now, stay with the puppies...I'm going for a walk..." Jenna didn't wait for Steele to reply. She just ran out the door, hoping he didn't know and he would kill her babys.....So to check, she pretended to run, but hid behind the door and listened. All she heard was Steele saying "Bitch".
Balto coughed and slowly opened his eyes. "Ooohhhh!" He let out a shrill moan. "Where am I again?" He asked himself. "My head......Oh, no! You let Steele get away....I'm such an idiot!" Balto lectured himself.
"Balto!" He heard a small voice in the distance. Was it who he thought it was?
"...No. It couldn't be..she..hates me," he muttered. Pain shot through his body.
"Balto! Balto are you out here?" He heard the voice again, but clearly. It sounded worried. He began to think to himself it was Jenna..but he didn't want to think about her right now. But, to his dismay, it was Jenna. "Balto! Oh, god are you Okay? Answer me!" Balto said no reply.
".....Why aren't you with Steele?" Balto finally answered.
Jenna gasped. "W-what do you mean?! Oh! I got it! You think I love him! Balto, I don't!" She cried. "I had puppies, they are yours, Balto!" Balto glued his face to the ground. And didn't reply. "Balto, please!"
"I'll need more than sorry from you!" He yelled.
"Balto it isn't the truth! I don't love him! I don't love Steele!"
A large paw steped in fron of Jenna. Balto and Jenna swerved around to face Steele. Jenna gasped. "Oh...Steele!" Oh no! I'm in big crap now!! What do I do? What do I do?!? Jenna thought. "Steele, I have to tell you something!" Jenna said, quickly.
"Its alright! I know what you're going to say, so say no more!" Steele smacked Jenna in the face with his paw. Shetook a deep breath.
"Steele you will listen to me! RIGHT NOW!" Steele turned around, eyes wide at the enraged huskie. "Steele, those puppies are not your's! They are Balto's!" Jenna turned her face to meet the ground.
"Oh...Jenna..." Balto whispered. "I'm so sorry!" he cried.
"I know, Balto." She said. Then, without Balto or Jenna knowing, Steele ran as quick as lightening towards Jenna's house. "Balto! oh no...Balo quick! *pant pant* He's going to kill our puppies!
Balto raced to her house, but Steele was already inside. So balto had no other choice but to burst open the door. When he peeped inside, noone was there. How weird, Balto thought. Then Steele pounced on him. "You're not getting my pups! If I can't be happy NOBODY CAN!" Balto finally realized what was going on. Steele had snapped ; had gone crazy. Absolutly crazy.
"Steele, you don't have to do this. We don't have to go through this again! Remember last time we fought?"
Steele began to remember...
"Alright bingo, paws up! Its over for you!"
"No"
"Damn! Foiled again!"
"....Oh yeah.."
Steele leaped off of Balto, letting him go. Balto jumped to his feet, as Jenna ran to the door. "Oh, Balto! You're okay!" She cried. Steele made his escape as Jenna and Balto lay down together. The puppies crawled up to Jenna.
"Jenna..I am so sorry! I never should have douted you. I'm sorry." Balto said in a low voice.
"Its okay. Only a little misunderstanding." She replied. Balto smiled, as they fell asleep together.
