    It all started out as a sunny day in Nome, with all of the male dogs drooling at the sight of a female wolf/dog. Her name was Silver. She was a beautiful light shaded silver, with bright blue eyes. Whenever she was around male dogs, they hardly ever noticed that she was part wolf. Silver was 1/2 wolf, and 1/2 alaskan malamute. She really loved the attention from other dogs, especially males. It was that time of year when everyone was looking for a mate. So beautiful as she is, she started strutting around town. One male liked her. He was a siberian husky/alaskan malamute mix. He was fast like a husky, but big and strong like a malamute. He was black with white paws and a white underbelly. He had big brown eyes, and was known to have been a great sled dog. His name was Adicus. He was related to Steele, the "evil" dog. But Adicus didn't particually find Steele, his father, ambitiuous and evil. He liked his father. Some dogs accused him of being like Steele. However, he just ignored them.

     Silver walked around, and then she eyed up Adicus. He grinned at her, but she rolled her eyes. She didn't like him that much. But even though when she did that to most dogs, they would look for a new mate. But Adicus was different. Instead, he walked up to Silver, and nuzzled her. She guess she didn't mind. Silver shook her head and walked away. Adicus turned to face some angry male dogs. They were obviously jealous. Adicus chuckled to himself as he walked away.

    Silver always thought that Adicus would never get close to her. But she sighed. She finally padded up to the doggy-door to her house. When she entered her home, she found her lunch sitting on the floor. Silver walked up to it, and started to eat.

   "Hi Silver! I am glad that I know where you are now." Madison, Silver's human pup shouted.

  Adicus lied down in the snow. He sighed. "Oh, why did I do that? I am such a butthead." Adicus murmured. He soon fell asleep. The next morning, Adicus awoke with having Alue, pressed up against his belly. He found himself snarling at her. Alue woke up surprised. She stared into Adicus's eyes. She tryed to look pretty and gorgeous.

  "What's the matter? Are you mad at me?" Alue looked worried.

"You are next to me and I do not like you. So leave!" Adicus snarled. His fur bristled up, and he lay his ears flat on his head.

 "Well, just remember that I like you, and I want to be with you."

 "Well I just want to know why you are here." Adicus suddenly looked up, and he saw Silver walking on the sidewalk. Why was he so nervous all the time when he was around her? He didn't know why, because he wasn't sure if he liked her very much. It was just that the other day that he nuzzled Silver only because he wanted to make other dogs jealous.

 "Oh. I found you sitting here. You looked so lonely." Adicus just remembered Alue sitting next to him.

 "Oh. Well, please leave." Adicus growled. Why was Alue always so annoying? Then Alue sighed, then left. Adicus walked over to the same group of males from the day before. Then, Silver walked in front of them, and strutted around them.

   "Yeah. I swear. She has touched has touch my heart." A male named Blakcie said. He was a black labrador husky mix.

   "IfonlyforIcaresodon'tlistenbecauseyouaremineforeverandeverandetc." A terrier named Sparkysaid.

   Adicus said,"Hey, CALM DOWN ALREADY!!!" Then, all of the dogs stared at him.

  "What do you want." This was difficult for Adicus, because his father wanted to have pups with Jenna, but Balto won her over. Adicus was accussed of being like Steele. Really, he looked like Steele and had a temper like him, but he was kind and gentle like Jenna.

      Silver looked across Nome. It was all qiuet, ecspecially at this time of night. She fell asleep until she heard a scratch at the doggy-door. She padded off of Madison's bed and by the door. Before answering, she asked

"Who is it?"

 "It's me, Adicus."

"Great."Silver muttered low enough so Adicus wouldn't hear.

 "Can I come in?"

 "How about I come out there."

"Ok." Then, Silver walked quietly out of the house. Eventually, Silver and Adicus loped side by side across Nome. As soon as they got to know more about one another, they ran together, as if they were wolves, who ran through the clouds, wild and free. Then all was peacful.

  It wasn't long before Silver was expecting puppies. Her human pup Madison kept bugging her parents about the birth of Silver's puppies. Adicus didn't know of one thing though. He didn't know that Blackie, was very jealous that Adicus bred with Silver. So mad, that he was almost dangerous. Whenever Adicus wasn't around, Blackie would be trying to protect Silver. But that didn't last. It was time for Silver to give birth. She lied down on a little storage room of Madison's house. 5 puppies were born there was 1 female, and 4 males. The female was Saska. The males were, Yukon,Floyd,DJ, and Timber. It was Saska who looked like her mother the most. DJ looked most like his father. Yukon,Floyd, and Timber just looked like total mixes. Although it was a very cheerful moment, Silver had not done her training lately. It was very difficult for her. She soon begun her training when her puppies were sold. She had become a fine sled dog, so she could outwit and outrun Blackie. So, Blackie gave her up. Even Saska was learning to become a sled dog. She was very good at it too. Everyone wondered when she will start her first race, just like her mother had been all this time...
