It was a sunny spring day were Eagle's Claw territory was. Wolves were hunting in their own territories, pups were playing, and elders telling tales of their ansestors in a tree den. Everything was perfect. Exept for hunters killing wolves just for a sport.
One early sunny afternoon, the leader of Eagle Claw pack whom was Assault, was patroling the territory, and even the entire forest. He wanted to make sure that all wolves and animals were safe from savage hunters. Just then, he heard a loud gunshot split the air. Birds came flying out of the trees, afraid they would get shot. "Those hunters.." He murmered. He then ran down the slope, seeing what happened.
Once at his territory, he gazed around the camp. He didn't see any playing pups, talking elders or teen wolves wresteling each other. All he saw was dead wolves, and blood everywere. He growled. He stared sternly at the gun on the ground. "I swear the next time I see you, I'll rip out your tounge so your guts will spill. "He snarled. "I know your dirty little face.." He murmmered. Then he saw a hunter on his horse, walking towards the camp. With his fast reflexes, he dashed into to the bush. He bared his teeth. He saw the hunter taking one wolf by one, into his huge sack that read Wolf Slaughter in faint letters. "Wolf slaughter..?" He thought. Then the hunter spotted the gun on the ground, picked up and ran off on his horse.

Assault walked tiredly out of the bloodstained forest. He looked up from his feet and saw the stars with a message carried on them. It said Your dear pack members will rest in peace up in heaven. You are no longer a loner... wake up tommrow and you will see a suprise. Do not wheep, Assault. He reconized this voice. It was that wolfdog hero's mom- Aniu! So he walked on to find a den and slept in it.
The next morning, sadness was no longer inside of him. He woke up feeling happy, but saw no suprise. So he went back into the den, only to hear that calm, soothing voice in it. "Its Aniu again!" He said to himself. Aniu said Go to the upper forest, near Nome. Its also near Nava's pack. In between them, really. Then she chuckled softly. Now go, your suprise is there.
About an hour of traveling to the destenation, he stopped in the middle of the forest, were it was bare. But the bare didn't look like grass, it instead was white. "Aniu, again!" He giggled to himself. Aniu strided infront of him and told him; I will intruduce you to your new pack members. Here they come. Assault whisped around and saw that his new pack mates were walking into the bare patch, one by one. The first one that walked in was a black female wolf, who looked rather large for a female. She had strapping deep lavender eyes that almost looked like it popped out of her black fur. She also had studded wristbands- who knows were she got those from. She looked really tough. Her name is Arashi. She will be warrior of your pack. Aniu told Assault. Next came a clumsy looking grey male wolf. He was just plain grey, but he had darker grey bangs almost covering his dark aqua blue eyes. That there is Kumotta. He will be an omega of your pack. Aniu told him. After that came another black female, but not as tough looking. She had a fuchsia coloured flower in her ear. Her fuchsia eyes stood out of her black fur. That female is Satira. She will be Delta. Two other male wolves came, one was reddish looking with the same eyes as Assault. That one is Crimson. He is Delta. Aniu said. The other was golden brown with a darker brown on his pelt. That one is Chairo. He is Beta. Aniu said. Another male walked up, he was red, but tiny bit of brown. He also had black, too. His name is Cyrus. He will be fighter of your pack. Aniu told him. Then, three more wolves came walking in. They were all females. Those are the last of them. That purpleish gray one there, is Murasaki, who is an omega. The orange-red one is Sage, she is omega. Finally, that dark brown one there is Sakira, she happens to be friends with Arashi. Aniu explained to him, then walked off. Oh, I forgot to mention, Sakira is a fighter. Then she disapered.

The next day...
"Hey, Assault!! Assault! Wake up!" Kumotta shouted in Assault's ear. "Ugh... be quiet, Kumotta! Im trying to sleep." Assault murmmered. Kumotta walked out of Assault's den, but not as asked. He came back with a hollow stick with berries in it. Then he blew into it, sending berries flying out the other end. The berries hit Assault. He woke up. "Alright, what are you doing this ti-" Before finishing his sentence, Kumotta was aiming berries into Assault's mouth. "Ok! Ok!! You got me! Now stop it!" He yelled while the berries were in his mouth. He swallowed them, but chocking on them because they were not chewed. "Oh, sorry" Kumotta laughed. "Wanna see something I did to Arashi?" He asked. Assault sighed happily. "Ok." Assault replied, then followed Kumotta out of the den.
He was led into the warrior den, to see Arashi crunched up in a ball, wincing in pain. But she had a look of annoyance on her face, and she had berry stains on her mouth. "Whoa, Arashi. What happened to you?" He asked. Arashi bared her teeth at Kumotta, then turned to Assault. "Kumotta... gave me too much berries. Now I'm drunk on them.." She said, and tried to get up to snap her teeth at Kumotta, but her berry filled stomach wouldn't budge. "Ha! So much for a brave warrior!" Kumotta teased. Arashi heard this, and she filled with rage. "What!? I'm still tough and strong! If only you hadn't stuffed my stomach with those revolting berries!!" She snapped at him. Arashi couldn't contain her madness. She then got up and bit Kumotta hard and he yiped and fell. "You get what you deserve." She rasped at him. Then she plopped down on her stomach. "Ooh.. could someone get me herbs? My stomach feels like rock!" Arashi said. "I'll get some for you." Assault replied, then walked out of the den. Arashi glared at Kumotta with her cold, mean eyes. Kumotta knew the punishment, and he rushed out of the den.
"Assault is taking so long.." Arashi murmmered. She was bored so she slid onto her back and looked at her heavy stomach. She rubbed it a bit. Just then, she heard Assault walk in. She perked her ears with joy.
"Well, here they are. Sorry I took so long." Assault said, and pushed the herbs over to her. In a flash, she had aten them up. "That should work." He assured her.

That night...
Arashi was in her den, plotting revenge on Kumotta. "Ha! Take that, dirty scrap." She whispered. She knew her plan would work. And with that, she creeped out of the den.
Arashi was standing outside of the omega den. She creped in quietly, then scared Kumotta out of his skin. "AHH!! ARASHI!? WHAT-" Kumotta yelled. With no word, she started to drag him out of the den. Sage and Murasaki heard the racket, and woke up. They both exchanged confused glances and then went back to sleep.
Arashi was on the outskirts of the territory, but she had ment to wander off that far with Kumotta. "Hey Arashi! Were are we-" His sentence was cut off by Arashi's hard swipping near his mouth. Kumotta yiped. "You are going.." She said, then threw Kumotta in a calm, yet semi-cold river. "In there!" She finished. Then she ran off, laughing. There in the river was Kumotta, swimming helplessly.

Next morning...
Assault woke up, about to go hunt with Chairo, Arashi and the other Deltas and warriors when he noticed that Kumotta wasn't in the camp. He walked near the omega den. "Hey Sage, do you know were Kumotta went?" Assault asked. Sage walked up to him. "No, I haven't. All I heard last night was him being dragged off." She replied. "Arashi... she must have dragged him somewere!" Assault thought.
"Arashi, you dragged Kumotta off lastnight, didn't you." Assault told her. Arashi showed no signs of fear. "Well he stuffed me with berries! He deserved to get thrown in the river." She snapped. Assault stared. "Well gets go find him. Quikly now. Don't wanna be late for the hunt." He said. Then he led Arashi out of the den.
Arashi was following her scent from lastnight. Also, the scent of water was getting closer, but when they got to the small river, Kumotta was not in the water. "Arashi, what did you do!? Did he drown?" Assault asked in shock. "Pfft, why do you think Kumotta is-" Before finishing off, from the corner of her eye she saw Kumotta, all wet and cold curled up in a ball under a tree. Assault came running over. "Kumotta!! I'm so glad you are alive!" He exclaimed in relief. Arashi ignored him. Besides, the first time Arashi had been forced by Kumotta to eat a butt-load of berries, she hated him ever since. She was blown out of that thought when Assault told her to get hunting with the others.
Back at the camp, Kumotta was sent to the omega den with Murasaki and Sage. Sakira, Satire, Assault, Arashi and Chairo were going on a hunt for the morning's meal.

At the hunting grounds...
While walking to the hunting grounds, Assault smelt something in the air. "Stranger wolf." He said. "Arashi, keep an eye out for him. You will not hunt for today, but you will keep an eye out for this male wolf." Arashi then nodded, then headed for the direction of the male wolf.
Assault and the other hunters went in their stalking positions. Perfect buck. Weak on all sides. Assault thought. He then sent a signal to the others, and they charged for the caribou. The buck wheeled in terror, and galloped towards the wastelands. "Get him!" Assault ordered, and they all ran towards the buck.
"There he is." Arashi said to herself. She laid eyes on the male wolf, and charged onto him. The male was unaware, which was lucky for Arashi, who just jumped onto the male's back and sank her sharp fangs into his neck. The male howled in pain, and pinned Arashi against a tree. Arashi with her strength, got up from the hard throw. She slashed her sharp claws everywere on his fur, which gave him scars. But after all this fight, Arashi looked into the painful eyes of the male. But instead feeling anger on him, she suprisingly felt love. it was the same for this male. "H-hey.." The male said gently. "Hi.. I-i'm so sorry for attacking you.." Arashi apologized. "Heh, no problem. You got some strength for a female." The male complemented her. "The name's Axel." He told her. "Mine's Arashi" She said to him. They both giggled to eachother, then walked off. Will he be my true mate..? Arashi wondered.
The buck was limping now, and was finished off with a harsh bite on the neck. It slowly fell to the ground. "Oh yeah.." Chairo said, all exitied. "Come on, guys. Lets bring this buck back to the camp." Assault told them.

Back at camp, Kumotta was lying on his side, eating berries. Murasaki was scratching the den walls with her claw. Sage just sat there, hungry. Her stomach growled. "Whats taking them so long?" She complained, rubbing her belly. "You know, the caribou his heavy to carry back here." Murasaki told her.
Sage looked at Kumotta. "Umm, you remind of that time you stuffed Arashi with berries." She commented. "Yea, Kumotta, save some room for the caribou." Murasaki added. Kumotta didn't listen. Besides, he didn't really like caribou.

The hunters were back from the succesful hunt.
"I get first dibs on the caribou!" Sage shouted as she bounded towards the carcass. Assault looked up from pulling the carcass. He shot her a stern stare. "Sage, omegas are supposed to eat last." He told her firmly. Sage backed away, tail between her legs and submissivly slinked off.

In the Alpha den...
"Guys, I got to tell you something important." Assault told the hunters in a serious tone. They instantly reconized the serious voice, and turned straight to Assault. "Arashi... is missing." He said. "The last time I saw was when I told her to attack the stranger wolf, and after that I never smelt her." Chairo got up to speak what he had to say. "She isn't exactly lost, I would say, because i smelt her scent." He explained. "Sadly, though, shes hanging out with the male.. the scent told me that she might become mates with the male." He went on. Satire stopped in mid-chewing the bone of the carcass, and chocked spitting it out. "Eh say wha??" She said in suprise. "Yea, eh say wha. We have to find her at moonhigh." Chairo told her. The others nodded. They finished eating their carcass, left on a search party.

They followed Arashi's scent to were she was, but it was very faint. The only scent they could really smell was a caribou herd. But above all- a very dangerus scent surrounded them.
The birds high in the trees started to call out to everyone about the dangerus scent as they flew off. The hunter (who the wolves called a murder) kept making eardrum breaking bams.
Assault stopped in midwalk, and stood there as still as a sturdy tree. He lifted his nose into the air. "A murder.." He told them. "Lets get a move on!!" He yelled. Then, all the wolves ran at speed.
"The murder!! He is closing in on us!!" He told him. He kept running faster and faster, but he failed. A bullet skinned him on his back leg, and blood oozed out. It was stinging more than a bee sting or anything else. He started to go slower, than he fell to the ground. He was panting so hard, he felt dizzy. "ASSAULT!" Satire screamed. She ran over, and so did the others.
"Chairo and Sakira, go find Arashi. Crimson, Cyrus and I will stay with Assault." Satire told everyone. Chairo and Sakira nodded and sprinted off.
Chairo was leading to were Arashi was with Sakira following behind. "We are getting close!" Chairo exclaimed. Then he bounded past the hunting ground, ignoring the caribou. He was at the other side, when he heard Sakira yipe, and she thuded to the ground. "Sakira!!" He shouted, and ran towards her.
Chairo nudged Sakira's shoulder softly. "Wake up. Sakira, wake up." He said softly. But before saying anything else, he smelt something from before. The Murder. "Sakira!! Please! No fun and games!! WAKE UP!" He yelled, as he smelt the Murders closing in on them. There were tons on horses, with dogs too.
Just run. Don't fight, run. Just run. Chairo thought, then ran while dragging Sakira as fast as he could.

While he was running, he smelt Arashi's scent closer. So he stopped to rest, but guarding Sakira from the the Murders. But he smelt them, closer than ever. Now I fight. He told himself.
With the Murder's gun aimed at him, Chairo jumped up and sank his claws into the Murder's chest. The Murder screamed in pain. He sank in his teeth harder, moving slowly up to the neck, blood coming out like a waterfall. He was lucky to have almost killed him. Or was he?
Another Murder came up, with three Dobermans next to him. Oh, so you think this is harder for me? He thought, then he charged towards the Doberman, with teeth bared, and he bit the Doberman's neck hard. He felt the Doberman's strength slowly loose it's grip on his shoulders. The Doberman fell to the ground, silent. He was dead. When the other two Dobermans saw this, they ran away in terror. Cowards! He thought.
The Murder had his gun aimed at Chairo chest. Chairo bared his teeth, and jumped onto the Murder and knocked the gun out of his hands. Then Chairo bit the Murder's chest, and he slowly sank to the ground. He was dead too. All the Murders ran off.

Back at the hunting ground trails...
Assault was recovering from the injury, but his leg still couldn't move. Chairo would be the one that put herbs on the cut. Crimson, Cyrus and Satire would guard Assault.

Chairo walked on and on, carrying Sakira. He was confused that before he smelt Arashi's scent, now it was more fainter. So Chairo tried howling to Arashi, but nothing worked.
