Dakota was one of Balto and Jenna's pups and was being adopted and she couldn't wait to have his very own master! He waited a couple hours in a small box and was picked up by a little boy named Derrik.

When she went to the house it was a small cottage and they had a very little swing set.

"Welcome to your new home Dakota," smiled Derrik.

Derrik took Dakota into the house and showed her a big plastic box like thing, " This is you bed and this is mine!" smiled derrik.

One Year Later:

"Dakota!!'' laughed Derrick.

"Derrick, chain Dakota up it's time for dinner," yelled the father.

Dakota had a good life she ate when they ate she sleeps on the boys bed and when they are eating or gone she is outsid the whole day, and she lived in koyuk which was a while away from Nome were she was born. She was Dark red and Dark Cream with Light brown eyes.

She started to eat her food when she saw a big truck come up the drive way, she started to bark until her owners came out of the house with a bunch of stuff in there hands they put couches cahirs tables and even the bed into the truck. She watched carefully when Derrick came up and gave her the whole food  bag and then he went into the truck with the rest of the family and he was waving good  bye to Dakota.

" DERRICK COME BACK!!" he yelled. Dakota was never sacred in his life. but now he was because he new his family would never come back for him, " Derrik."

Two days has past and he ate the whole bag and he was starving. Every night he heard strange noises and was afrad that it was a wolf, even though his favorite sibling Alue was a in a wolf pack he was still afriad.

One night Dakota was really hungry he couldn't take it any more he started to break the rope that he was tied to.

"Come on..... YES!" barked Dakota he had gotten him slef lose and now he was going to find some foodWhen Dakota woke up every thing was blury and his head hurt, A LOT.

Dakota saw a rabbit REALLY far away from his "Home" and he was about to attack it when he was bumped and nocked onto his head.

"Huh were am i?" asked Dakota looking around.

"Leader the dog has awoking," barked someone out side.

"Oh, please say that i wasn't in a pack territory, even though I did go past White mountin," said Dakota talking to himself and then he felt like he was being watched. He looked up and saw a female wolf standing ate the cave door. She was  creamy/brown, cream and had blue eyes.

"Why were you in my pack territory?' asked the wolf.

" My owners they abanded me and left me tied up, so I got loose and tarveled for about a day trying to find food," explained Dakota. the wolf came closer and Dakota looked at her and noticed that she had the same face marking has him and she looked familiar.

" That still doesn't answer my quetion, why were you in my pack land?" grolwed the wolf coming face to face with him.

"Umm, I, Uh....... Alue?" said Dakota, he would notice Alue quiker if he wasn't afriad, but now he was calm.

"How do you now me?" growled Alue backing up.

" It's me Dakota, your brother!" smiled Dakota.

" Dakota, is that really you?' asked Alue.

"Ya, my owners abanded me and it took me a day trying to find food, and then a wolf attacked me and I nver got food!" whined Dakota.

"Ha, well come on I'll get one of the wolves to show you around," laughed Alue.

"Ok," smiled Dakota.

Alue and Dakota went outside and Alue went up a big rock a nd told Dakota to come up with her.

"Wolves please gather," howled Alue.

 She waited until every wolf in the pak was around the rock and another wolf was at the end of the rock.

" My brother, Dakota will be staying a while, please do not hurt him. Zinja," siad Alue.

" Yes, Alue," said Zinja a female that was drak and light silver wiht green eyes.

" You will stay with Dakota since you now this place better then i do, ok?" said Alue.

"Yes Mam'," said Zinja.

Dakota went to Zinja after Alue talked.

" So what do you want me to show you?" asked Zinja.

" Food," smiled Dakota.

" Haha, all right, it's over there grab anything you want, i'm kind of hungry my self," smiled Zinja.

Dakota went to the spot were Zinja pointed and Zinja fallowed. He grabbed a rabbit and Zinja grabbed a deers leg and they both went to eat buy the nig green tree. After 3 bites his rabbit was gone and he watched Zinja eat her deer leg.

"So now what?'' asked Zinja after she was done chewing her last bite.

" I don't now it is getting kind of dark, how bout we go and watch the sun set?" asked Dakota.

" That would be great, and I now the best spot!" smiled Zinja.

Zinja took Dakota to a small thin cave and went through it. When they got out they saw the sunset and it was the best sunset Dakota has seen in his whole life!

"Wow it's more buetiful today then any other day," smiled Zinja.

"Ya you are buetiful," siad Dakota gazeing at Zinja.

"What was that?" asked Zinja.

"Um, Ya the sunset is buetuiful," smiled Dakota.

"Well we better get back it's almost dark," said Zinja getting up and walking back to the little cave.

"Ya ok," said Dakota.

They went back to the packs camp and Zinja was about to go to her cave before Dakota asked her something," Ah, Zinja were am i sapose to sleep?" asked Dakota.

" Oh, your sapose to sleep in my den, it has two caves in one," smiled Zinja leading the way.

"Ok," said Dakota fallowinf Zinja.

Dakota went to sleep thinking about Zinja she had green eyes that were brighter then the spring grass and silver fur that was shineyer then the shiny river.

the next morning Dakota was sleeping when he felt a stabbing pain on his side so he opened his eyes and saw Zinja looking at him with sad eyes.

"What's wrong?" asked Dakota.

"Alue told be to take you to Balto's, or other wise, your hom," frowned Zinja.

"OH, ok then let's go," said Dakota getting up and fallowing Zinja.

On the whole way home Dakota nor Zinja talked until they got to the edge of the forest.

"Well I guess this is good bye," said Dakota bowwing his head.

"Ya well bye," said Zinja running back to her own home.

Dakota went up to the beach and saw his father's boat. He went up to the boata and saw his father sleeping under his favorite black, well more like his only blacket.

"Hey dad i'm home," said Dakota throwing his dad's teddy bear at him.

"Wha? Dakota? What are you doing here?" asked Balto.

"My owners adbanded me," sighed Dakota," and I ran into Alue and they brought me here."

"Then what are you doing here?" asked Balto.

"I had no idea were I shouldv'e gone, so here I am," sighed Dakota.

When dakota went to sleep all night all he could think about was Zinja he just couldn't keep her off his mind! Why did I leave her? asked Dakota to himself.

 The next morning Dakota woke his father up.

"Dad i'm going, and i'll be gone for a while," said Dakota leaving.

Dakota went into the forest and sniffed the air, he smelled nothing! That was odd since he just left yesterday! He went on for a while and couldn't find the pack! He had to face it, he wasn't in the pack long anough he was lost!

"Man," sighed Dakota walking around.

Then Dakota had a great idea and he wen to the smell of water.

Yes there's the water, and all I have to do is find the pack by fallowing the water, thought Dakota.

Dakota was very happy because his plan has worked, his nose was soon filling up with familiar smells, and he also smelt a very sad Zinja and when he put his head up he saw Zinja looking up in the stars and her face was stand with tears.

"Zinja?" asked Dakota standing up beside her.

" I said I didn't......... Dakota?" said Zinja shocked.

"Ya it's me, i just couldn't leive you so I came back, i think i love you Zinja," blushed Dakota.

"I love you two Dakota," yapped Zinja.

"Really?" asked Dakota looking surprised.

" Why else would I be crying," joked Zinja.

4 Months later

 "Dakota guess what!" smiled Zinja coming over to Dakota who was talking to his brother in law, Shatter.

"What?" asked Dakota looking puzzled.

"Were going to be parents!" yapped Zinja.

"REALLY!" barked Dakota.

"Ya, I went to the healer and said that my belly hurts, and he felt my stomach and said that I was going to have puppies!!!!!!!" smiled Zinja, " are you happy?"

"Of course i'm happy this is once in a life chance to be a father with the most buetiful mate in the world," smiled Dakota.

"Well i'm happy also," said Shatter when Zinja left.

"And whys that?" asked Dakota.

" Because her mother and father died when she was young and she had no other family left and now it's great that she gets to start a family of her own," smiled Shatter.

"Really, that's said, but that's how nature goes, or........."

"It was nature, her parents were forced to have her, her father was about 20 years and her mother was about 19 years, in human years," explained Shatter.

"well then that's how nature goes, but I still feel bad for her," smiled Dakota.

3 months later

 Dakota was hunting alone when he heard a crunch behind him and saw Ginger, the youngest elder there ever was, she was about his father's age, but she was half blind, so she was put in with the elders.

"Ginger what are you doing here?" asked Dakota.

" It's Zinja she's in labor," said Ginger running ahead since she new Dakota was faster then her youngish slef.

Dakota made in time to his cave when he heard Zinja's voice.

" Dakota are you here?" asked Zinja.

"Yes, I'm here,'' said Dakota.

"You want to come in, there only one i'm afraid and I wan't you to name it," smiled Zinja. When Dakota went into the cave he saw a wolf like cub, he was Brown and light grey with Dull green eyes.

" That's fine and thinks," smiled Dakota. He looked at the male pup, he was guessing that most of the colors came from his mother, " How about we name him Moka?"

"That names sounds perfect, isn't that right Moka?" laughed Zinja.

That is the end of Dakota, He lived and made a family with Zinja and Had a son named Moka, even thought he didn't expect it, but he was a wolf inside, but the outside he was a husky, he may miss his owners, but he loves his family more!
