Cronos and Aniu Act 3 p2.
Cronos felt his heartbeat increase hugely he was too scared. To even move from what had happened not so long ago those two wolves that came and one beat his mother to what he thought to death at the moment. It all hit Cronos at once in a flash.
“We are passing though and uh yeah I’m trying to get that guy home.” Pete said with his tail as a pointer to Cronos, “and that’s it.”
The wolf paused and hit Pete to the ground, “Dog.” The wolf looked at Cronos, “You are?”
Cronos didn’t saying anything for a long time till Pete spoke, “Dude answer him his paw is heavy.”
“Cr…Cronos…” Cronos answered terrified, he took a step away from Hamal.
The wolf nodded his head, “MY name is Hamal, I tell you this I don’t like your father and I’m sure as heck don’t you, or this freak under me.”
“I’m trying to get him home for crying out loud! Kill me but leave that guy alone! But before you kill me, I need to see him home or you just might kill us both. But if you don’t agree it’s two vs. one, so you pick.”
Hamal stared down at him, “You’re smart fetcher.” He looked hard at Cronos; “Fine I’m close to where you live you unnatural of nature.” He let go of Pete; he got to his feet quickly. Cronos and Pete followed Hamal; they paused when they saw three wolves that met Hamal. “We rest for three days, then take you home.” Pete nodded his head to Hamal realizing he had been tricked.
A white wolf with yellow eyes watched and followed Cronos, “It was just a dream.” The white wolf somewhat looked at the ground, “You just have his traits, I don’t even know your name, but you look like him, but a too wolfish.” The white wolf giggled.
The white wolf looked harder on where the two where the white wolf took a step back, “Hamal? Gosh you have gotten a lot bigger, and by my eyes your alpha! That’s what you dreamed of, when told me.” The white wolf smiled at the memories, then had a very sharp pain throbbed, the white wolf frowned, “Yeah…what he told me.”
The white wolf looked ahead, the white wolf couldn’t recognize the other three wolves with Hamal and the dog and the wolf dog. It hurt to look at the wolf dog, but was easy to as well for the white wolf.
Cronos felt uneasy around Hamal he didn’t really like him; he kept on giving him a stare, that said I’ll kill you. He wondered of why he froze up so bad, he couldn’t move, why? He wasn’t like that black furred red-eyed wolf.
Pete relaxed even around the wolves he was able to talk to two of them for around five minutes. Pete came over to Cronos, “Yo, they aren’t going to let us go for while, well I guess its get back from to you’re the father. Or something.”
Cronos looked at him, “How long do think I think…I mean how long?” He shuddered.
He shrugged, “I don’t now’ maybe in a few months by what I got from the other two, no worries dude.”
Cronos shot out, “A few months! But…I can’t stay that long, I…”
Hamal finished for him, “You will stay or die instead, which would you prefer? I thought so, runt.”
Cronos been called runt before many times, but this one just really hurt more then the others. He felt like growling but didn’t, “So what if I’m a runt. It doesn’t change anything.”
Hamal smirked, “Your still far weaker than your brother are you not? You tire easy, your get hurt easy your fragile, and your mind is weak, you freeze at surprising things and battle, you are a weaker runt.”
Cronos flattened his ears, Pete spoke up, “You don’t have to be hard on him for it, and you should perhaps help him get strong.”
Hamal looked hard on them both, “Why? I could help a stronger one, this if I made stronger this one is helpless so why waste it it’s dumb, I’m surprised that this one still lives, but parents must have been so careful to keep you alive when you where younger I’m I right?” Hamal scorned.
Cronos turned his head away, he had watery eyes and looked away he was right about everything he said, and he was a weaker runt. He wanted just to hide and cry, like what he did before; Hamal smiled at his actions.
“Now I don’t want these two near each other, at anytime.” Hamal ordered the other two of the three wolves to do. “Also give that one the runt one, don’t talk to him.” Pete looked at Hamal, but was silent about it though.
Hamal had led them to where his den was, when he arrived he told everyone not to come close to Cronos, or talk to him. Cronos. Cronos didn’t like being alone at all, Pete didn’t like it either, he was half beaten half disrespected for being a dog at the pack. Well I should stay here…dad shouldn’t have me as a burden like I was…
The white wolf had followed the path of Cronos, was watching him, the white wolf noticed he was left out while the other beaten, as the wolf watched Cronos was also beaten. The white wolf hated it.
The white wolf sighed, “You don’t need it, there wolf-boy, you’re like him, but not, but could you be?” The white wolf pondered in the wolf’s mind.
The white wolf spoke, “I’ll watch you, just as how I have always watched this pack and wondered in my life from one place to the next.” The wolf softly said. “Could you be?”
Nome. sub-act. Act 3 two months pass.
Boris started to pass it had been a while, since there small fight Balto hadn’t gone back to his boat, “Where could he gone, did he run?” He thought aloud. Muk was behind Boris about to jump on him, Boris didn’t know he was there behind him.
Cinder passed back and forth, he was bored, “I’m bored!” He said how he felt to the world. “Why…” Cinder groaned. “When I start to jump around Rosé goes inside. And mom is boring. And went out leaving the poor me alone and bored!” He complained, he kept his mind off Cronos most of the time he tried anyway, he was really close to his brother and he gone now, away to another town.
He looked either way, “Ah heck I go around town myself.” He fit himself under the fence and got out, “About time I know this place for myself in stead, of.” Cinder changed his voice to bad girl like voice for his mother, “‘I’ll teach you one day.’” He shook his head at it.
He hadn’t forgotten where the boiler room was, how could he? He guessed that his parents would be there so he evaded it. He watch two dogs talking one was white a female pretty one too but too old for him.
He saw the other dog leave; He came over to the female, “Hey.” He simply said.
The female was Terry, Cinder had no clue who she was, “You shouldn’t be out, you’re eyes say so.”
Cinder went quiet but quickly recovered, “Nah I can be out, I’m big now, don’t even.” He looked at the dog that left it was a guy. “So you like that guy?”
Terry nodded her head, “I love him, his my son.” Terry looked forward, “You’re hurt, and you don’t like something.”
He slightly widened his eyes. Who the heck is this!! “Yeah doesn’t everyone?”
“Something is unfair that you had no control over, you think something unfair? Your wolf, though it’s hard to see, but you look like a wolf.” She smiled and looked at him.
He looked away, “You know who I am?” Terry nodded her head. “Well I don’t even know you…” He started but didn’t finish.
“I know who you are but I don’t know your name.” She smiled, “May you tell it to me?”
It took a moment for his mind to come back to him, he shook his head to snap out of it, and she was weird. “Cinder…”
Terry smiled “Nice to see you, you have any brothers or sisters?” She asked kindly.
Cinder fell silent. Terry turned her head, waiting. “Yes, I…had one brother.”
“Where is he?” She asked softly, trying to be gentle on the matter.
“I don’t know, they took him, and went away far away.” He said in a whisper not meaning to.
“I’m sorry.” She said not much louder, not making over hearable.
He got to his senses, “Well nice talking to ya. I didn’t get ya name.”
She smiled, “Terry, ask your father about me, I talk to him every now and then.” Cinder nodded his head and ran off.
He listened to everything he hated some conversations the stopped to listen about the ones about his brother. “I heard the wolf son of Balto was taken and killed.” “Serves him right, he most likely would be wild and go and kill when he got big enough.” He looked at the ground with angry tears, he was a gentle and kind, he wasn’t that, what wrong with being part wolf, I should have been the wolf! Only if I was as wolf and Cronos but…
He kept on running down hearing things his brother came often, so many lies so many opinions. “I heard he might be alive, that’s not good.” “I heard he was attacking and that’s why they got rid of them, not the wolf issue.” “I heard something like that, but it was the guys brother Cinder, he’s a great lad!” “I feel sorry for Jenna about what happened.” “I heard wolf-dog children mostly are killers.” He had tears down his face why did he listen to them. He turned and ran in an alley behind a wooden box and cried, for his brother, why did so many think it was right a good thing? Why did it happen to him he never did anything? Why? Why was a good thing for him to be taken away? Cinder cried to himself it wasn’t fair everyone was lying. “Is everyone crazy?”
Boris walked around town, to fly was half annoying he learned to walk more then flight because of Balto, a huge habit. He made because of that Balto.
“Oy where could he be?” Boris said to himself. Took some steps around, “Now where did Jenna live?” He asked himself thinking. “Oy.” He hit his head with his wing, “if you want something done do it yourself!” He recalled the saying.
Cinder finally got to himself, and sighed, for the first time he saw what the wolf meant in blood ‘this’ it would never stop. He felt apart of him hate his father for it, and his mother for some reason. He promised himself the show the wolf parts were best to show that they aren’t weaker or mad like wild animal.
Boris landed next to Jenna, “Ha…” He took a huge breath to recover from flying; even he had to admit he was kind of like a turkey. “Oy, I’m looking for someone, can you guess?” He said in his Russian way of talking.
“Looking for whom?” Balto asked his head tilted right next to Boris’s head.
“VA!” Boris yelled as tripped and fell into the snow. Balto itched his ear at it. Boris got out of his body impression in the snow, “You said forest! Not town!” He said slightly mad.
“Hmm changed my mind, on my boat you should have seen it, or is ya age killing your vision now Boris?” Balto said still itching his ear till he stopped.
“But that was…and you didn’t come…back.” He slowly said.
Balto shrugged, “Sorry. Just got caught up in some fun that all Boris, besides I remember you saying ‘I hate going into town.’”
He pointed a feathery figure at him, “‘Aw what’s the worst that could happen?’ ah, DEATH!”
Balto smiled, “Good dog.” He finished with a shy grin patting Boris’s head like an owner to a dog.
Boris twitched his eye, “Only if your feet where as fast as your mouth…” Balto and Jenna laughed.
Jenna slowly stopped laughing, “So how are the little guys Muk and Luk?” Jenna asked Boris.
“There getting bigger…o so bigger…” Boris moaned in depression. Balto and Jenna restrained their laughter.
He made himself not laugh anymore, “Well I’ll help as far can Boris.” He spoke with a smile.
“Alvight.” Boris said calmly, with a sigh. He didn’t really like the offer for help.
“What’s wrong Boris?” Jenna asked Boris, Boris sighed.
“I finally think my age is starting to get to me. Oy.” Boris grumbled softly. “Well bye you too.” Boris grunted then flew off; he was kind hard for him to lift himself, a bit on the heavy side.
He had noticed Balto still hangout in town he and hadn’t returned back to the boat. Boris started to think Balto was starting to finally to try getting himself an owner. Another four days later he was still over at town. “I guess he finally settled down.” He said with a smile, “But…” Boris half doubted his own words. Balto told him once, ‘I’d hate being collared.’ “Collared…tamed.” To Balto being collared would be terrible, Balto often wondered, he loved to wonder freely when he wanted to. To howl to the moon, being half wolf and all. Boris and Balto would know he’d give up everything he did for as Balto put it, “Being owned.” Boris knew Balto hated that word, he liked everyone being free, but Balto knew being a town with dogs and people, this was impossible.
Balto had slept next to each other that night like the others. Jenna was sleeping still, but Balto was shivering as if he was cold. Boris noticed when ‘this’ happened he’d eventually shot up wake with a terrified face on him, but Boris wasn’t there.
He shot up with a depressed face. “What kind of nightmare was that?” Balto asked himself. The nightmare made no sense at all. “My marks…what? The marks I left…to get home…” He let himself go down and fall back asleep.
He had awaked early morning; he carefully left to not wake Jenna. He went out and about and was walking around town; he had ended up looking at the town though his boat at the outskirts of the town, by the end of the day Balto stared out at the town.
He felt sad, and alone as looked at it I’m I alone? He felt a sudden nudge under his chin, he turned Jenna was standing next to him. He smiled, “Hey Jenna.” He turned his gaze back to looking at the town.
“Hasn’t gotten much bigger has it?” Jenna half laughed, as she looked at herself.
No. I’m not alone I have Jenna. He looked up as it started to snow. “It’s snowing again.”
Jenna leaned on him resting her head on his shoulder. “Yeah it always snows here, it peaceful like this though, no blizzard.” She sounded half tired.
Balto smiled, “Yeah.” He said softly. He glanced over at Jenna resting her head on his shoulder. “There’s a race tomorrow isn’t there…” Balto said dreadfully. “I haven’t gone to the last two, I have to race this one, pressure on it too…” because Steele is in it. Jenna silence answered him. Balto felt sad again, “you have to leave again don’t you?”
She rested more of her weight on him. There was a long pause neither of them said anything. Jenna finally slightly smiled, putting her head under his chin.
He never let a frown stay long with a smiled he asked, “Well you tired or something?”
She shook her head, “No, wide awake, more then you.”
He shook his head with a laugh, “No I don’t think more then me, I’m used to staying up, and getting up early.”
She frowned, “Your saying that first off, your more wake then me and get up earlier, I don’t think so, I’ve slept next to you, you don’t wake any earlier then I do.”
He turned to her making a face saying he didn’t believe that. “Really?”
She shook her head, with a half frown, “I know you better then anyone else, that’s a fact.”
He jumped on edge of his boat walking on it, doing his ‘balancing act’ “You never know, I might I have secret lives too, like how you five.” He simply put with a shrug.
“I DON”T have five. JUST one!” Jenna shot back, “I never have.” She started to get somewhat angry with him.
He chuckled with her reaction, “I have a bad sense of humor don’t I?”
She was about to say something but she laughed instead.
“Most of the time.” Jenna added giggling to herself, “Most of the time.”
“What?! ‘Most of the time?’ I can make a laugh.” Balto shook his head, “I can make joke every now and then.”
“Yeah…but only you get it.” She reminded him with a monotone voice.
He shook his head back and forth as if he was mocking her he made his way to the plank of the boat. “Well only smart ones get it.”
She slightly followed, with a scorned look, “Your saying I’m dumb or something?”
He turned his head back to look at her he was half way down the wooden plank off his boat. “uh…maybe…” He stated nervously. He smiled as he felt the plank move, He ran off it; to the snow so he could hear her, “We’ll I’ll show you!”
He was ahead just by few feet, “Oh, your gaining, how will I ever escape?” He said much like a bad actor. He put his paws in front of himself to as a brake. Jenna not really being right behind him ran ahead.
She turned around, “Why you little.” Balto laughed. And gave her a solute with his paw and ran off again. He started to slightly run in the water on the beach.
He had stopped Jenna was gaining; when she got close enough He splashed water on her. She darted away, “That’s cold!”
He laughed, “What ever you say.” Jenna kept her distance away from him, in case he’d do it again.
She was wet more wet then a single splash should be, “How’d he you get me so wet?” She asked slightly shivering.
He left the beach water onto the snow, and sat down. He lifted his right paw and tapped on snow, making some imprints, “Big paws.” He padded his chest with his paw and put it back down. “Balto one, Jenna, zero”
“Oh I see. Mr. Big paw.” Jenna started to run at him again. Balto started running away again, “You always run?” She asked.
He turned his head with a mock smile, “Hmm, who’s running? I’m not just walking.” He mentioned with a wink.
She shook her head at it, but suddenly she fell down over one of her paws, and she made a slight yelp. Balto immediately stopped with a slight gasp. He folded his ears back and ran over to her. “Jenna you alright? Sorry I should have started running like that.”
Jenna was looking at her paw worried He started to blame himself for it. He took a closer look at it. Jenna smiled with victory and tackled Balto to his side. “I know you would fall for that like that, I told you before I know how to lie to you playfully.” She said with a smile, “Balto one, Jenna one.”
He was slightly shocked even after he heard it. Be the next lassie would you? “Ah, you got me.” He was slightly confused about the whole thing. “Well you recovered fast. Well…one to one, and you caught me, game over…”
He noticed she was shivering, He got and laid on top of her, “Well now who’s warm one now?” He mockingly put with a smile.
She smiled and shook her head at the question, “Well I wasn’t the idiot who fell though the ice.”
“Idiot?” He repeated, “How was I to escape the ice cracked all around me, how was I supposed to escape?”
“Well, I guess only smart ones know.” She laughed a little. Balto rolled his eyes at it, if I would argue one it was freezing water and bear you try to do better my dear.
He sighed softly as he looked up at the sky, Jenna noticed depression in it, “What’s wrong?”
He evaded her eyes, “It’s late you should go back now, they’ll worry. You have to leave now…” He finished slowly, and sadly.
Balto looked at her in a trance, today she seemed to glow as well an angel. Jenna looked away then back at him, with small smile, “Not tonight I don’t.”
Hamal must have not as kept track on his two ‘new finds’; they were finally closer, close enough to talk to each other. Cronos being better health was able to move next to Pete well that what he said to go by.
Pete looked at him with his eyes, “You think…I’ve might have taken a wrong turn?”
Cronos slightly laughed, “No not really just a smidge Pete.” Cronos looked at Pete more closely it was dark and hard to see; he was hurt, bleeding and bruised. “You’re hurt.”
Pete slightly turned away, “It’s fine, and it’s not even half as bad as it looks…” Pete slightly laughed; he didn’t really have the strength to laugh anymore.
He tried to laugh with him but he was really hurt. Still get harder from day to day…Pete won’t last long…I don’t want that. He is beaten hard every day, for being dog, and me as well, I think Hamal has something against me, he said he knows my dad, but still doing what he was doing. We have to get out of here, but Pete won’t be able to run long or at all.
Pete looked over at Cronos he smiled, why does the heck does he do that, when he concentrates hard his eyes move back and forth? It’s funny, the poor guy must be thinking of a way to save us, he is the only one who can leave this place, pups like him think things can end happy and with someone like his father. It’s sad though, and I’m twice as bad as it looks, I’m been starved as well. Pete laughed. I’m best dead anyway. Pete laughed again.
Pete saw a wolf talking to Hamal, Cronos, didn’t know the wolf. “Cu’can you’re sure?” Hamal spoke.
Cu’can nodded, “A white wolf has been seen outside our borders, and was slowly heading towards Odessa, which is you. I do believe it’s the white wolf.”
Hamal sighed, “Alright…I guess we have to move there.”
He continued, “You should also now that Aquarius and Odyssey are the only things left from starting the next civil war you should now.”
Hamal sighed, “Only if only…if it wasn’t for-” Hamal interrupted his voice, “It hasn’t even been that long will mean the east will be one while the west is in chaos? Well the east is divided now but there are sections there that are allies, they could…take the west.”
He nodded, Odessa was, what put everyone together but not really by the pack but the white wolf the-”
Hamal interrupted him, “That is history now, we don’t have the white wolf anymore the white wolf is dead, the white wolf is no spirit it must just be some other white wolf get it?! I knew the white wolf, destroyed! Got it, how do I know your telling the truth you fought against me!”
He nodded “that’s a truth, but I don’t want to the west fall apart, from what a wonder it was made by the white wolf, I want it to stay, so it’s simple you either believe me or not that’s simple.”
Hamal glared at Cu’can, “I see you have dog in your mist, beaten, you should treat them better feed normally so when the white wolf follows you-”
“SHUT UP!!!” Hamal shouted at Cu’can, “I told you before the white wolf is DEAD!”
He shook his head, “Well you never know what the white wolf did the” Cu’can noticed Hamal’s growl and stopped, “You have his son here the white wolf’s grandson, you can treat him better, from what I heard judging from here he fits a lot like her, and something else.”
Hamal growled, “Fine but are sure the white wolf is after us?”
He nodded, I have to go you it might follow me and I don’t want that so I must part.” Cu’can turned and ran off.
Hamal growled, “Fine then. I’ll treat them better, so they the can run to Odessa, it will take a week for the dog to get that well.”
He walked so he was face to face, “The white wolf is angry, so far in the west and east, 2 packs a piece smalls ones about 4 in size have appeared dead, all grown. No pups.”
Hamal paused, “What does that mean for us?” His voice changed to anger.
He looked him in the eye, “Following where they packs where Odessa is next I know that your pack is strong but I think Odessa is the white wolf’s target.” Hamal turned to him.
Cinder being a still puppy liked seeing his mother not home at night, it became late, so he left the yard to explore the Nome the town at night.
Everything was new at night then at the day light hours, well almost dark all the time now. Cinder looked around the dogs at night were different, Cinder recognized a few that he saw before.
Cinder slightly laughed to himself. Now 9 months old. He thought he knew everything in the world with his pride. Cinder could see dogs with female dogs making sleazy moves on them. “It obvious what they want.” He said to himself.
Cinder sighed, “I still wish Cronos was here, he’d be next to me, he always got him into trouble” Cinder slightly giggled, “Then he’d get depressed for a day or so, but then he always was…I was the trouble maker, he was the good one, but always followed me anyway…I had more talent them him at the moment…I wanted to see, I really wanted to see him beat me at something I was good at, and what he was good at and I’m not…it never happened…”
Cinder shock his head, getting the thoughts away, he took a breath and walked on exploring, “I wonder what he’d be thinking or doing, of course, ‘we should go back, mom doesn’t know were out and…no ones with us.’ And he’d most likely being thinking worst case thoughts like mom always does.”
Cinder went on, “hmm. Mom will kill me, if she finds out that I was out here all night, and in the so call ‘bad side’.” Cinder laughed.
Cinder glanced over as he heard a cry, “Don’t!!” Cinder totted over to an alley, three dogs where they’re two males, by looks and a younger dog, she was pretty. Cinder went dazed. “STOP!”
The yell snapped Cinder back to the real world by when his mother said that he naturally responded with his answer, “No.”
The two dogs turned around at him, “Beat it pup.”
Cinder frowned unconvinced, “Puppy? That one over there you ganging up on is younger then me, and you’re brains are though.” The two ignored it.
“Hmm I thought that would work…” Cinder said to himself. Cinder sighed and walked ahead to the two dogs. “Look I’ll take care over her, while you leave? Got it?”
The two growled at him for a warning to leave. Cinder smirked, “Losers. Move on with your life, you know I didn’t even know puppies went this low. Yeah, you two remind of two little pups fighting over a bone but with out a nice long fangs you never going to get the bone, or the pieces of food. Yeah that’s right you two can’t even get a bone for yourselves so now trying to get it from someone better then you because you losers have nothing better to do, oh I can see it now…wait I am seeing it my bad.”
The two growled at him again. “Is that it all growl and no bite?” Cinder looked at the two, “Come on, and if that’s it leave will ya? Yeah my piss off suck because I don’t insult often, you losers leave her alone.”
The two dogs left, Cinder made sure they left, before dropping his guard. Cinder went up to the pup they were ganging up on, “Hey you hurt?” The female pup moved back a bit, she was as old as him or older. “Oh about when you said stop and I said ‘no’, don’t take it that way, I always say no when someone says stop, but I stop it’s just a habit.” Cinder looked at the female.
The female evaded his gaze, Cinder was confused, he just saved her and she kept looking away as if he was one of them. “What’s wrong I’m I doing something?”
“Y-your eyes…” the female stammered, Cinder looked at a window in the alley he could see himself. He was same old he eyes were changed to brown, and they were an orange when he was younger. “What was the deal with the eyes?” Cinder looked at her confused.
“You’re wolf, you look wolf your eyes are wolf!” the female shouted at him as if he was dumb. Cinder took a step back deeply hurt. Cinder mumbled, “What was wrong with that…wolf eyes?”
Cinder took another step back, he felt his eyes watering, and he took a few more back. That why the left without a fight; they thought he was a wolf because of his eyes. Cinder took breaths of air. His eyes went back and fourth thinking. He was seen differently, seen as monster, why did she judge him. Cinder took deep breaths, he took another step back, he looked at her, he turn and bolted out of the alley, hitting a trash can down at the noise he turned around and bolted again away.
Cinder went to another alley and put back his back to wall hitting the wall, making a thud. Cinder looked to the side taking breaths. “I hate this, nothings wrong me, and just wolf, it’s not right none of it, someday I’ll change that, some how I will.”
Cinder wondered around town, he never left home that much, everyone seemed to have the same reaction the female did in the alley. Cinder being a quick learner, know had to learn to evade eye contact with everyone.
Cinder getting tired, and being half-carefree fell asleep on a wooden box, in some alley; Cinder wasn’t real picky about things.
A white wolf sniffed the almost dead trail that a wolf left behind. The white wolf smiled. “I see.”
The wolf, the white wolf had been following noticed the wolf and turned around. “What are you doing?”
The white wolf cocked its “I’m just a white wolf, that’s what I am.” The white wolf walked close to other wolf, “But you’re a dead now.”
The wolf looked surprised, “You mean you’re?”
The white wolf nodded to the wolf, “Yes.” The white wolf from the other wolf sight had yellow eyes, but the white wolf kept it distance.
“But…” The wolf responded the white wolf took a step closer.
“It’s time, my friend.” The white wolf responded.
Cronos couldn’t sleep, he kept on sitting up and looking around, and he could swear someone was watching him, Cronos made a small grunt.
Cronos laid back down, it was insane the feeling was sure someone was there but he couldn’t see anything. Cronos listened but still heard nothing.
Cronos rested and tried to sleep again even though he was sure someone was watching. He was right yellow eyes had been watching him.
There keeping you fine, but not the dog, he won’t last long, I’d give him three to five days left at this rate. The white wolf thought.
Hamal you have grown much, in both size and anger, but…you were always so nice, you changed that much? How much have I missed? The white wolf thought wondering.
I did notice there was some type of great gathering some time ago, but don’t know what it was…Hamal what has happened? The white wolf looked at the sky from where the wolf was hidden; there were only clouds in the sky.
The white wolf looked at the white sky, the white wolf took a breath, and turned and walked away a little, but stopped and turned around looking at Cronos for a moment and laid down watching. ‘Why are you crying?’
Cronos fell asleep, though he still felt like he was being watched. He opened his eyes seeing Pete up, “What are?” Pete told him with his eyes to go back asleep he did as he was told.
Pete smiled, “Time to get you out of here…” He looked down at the snow. With and idea in his head, “Too easy.” He turned to see the wolf watching him was fairly tired.
He paused, and soon waited for him to get more tired he wasn’t his heart was racing; he took a few steps towards the wolf and didn’t wait and started off with a jolt.
The wolf noticed and gave chase to Pete; He howled the single for an escape attempted. He grunted though Pete was in poor health he could still run fairly well.
He felt like a tank rammed him down, “Ouch!” He looked up to Hamal looking down on him with a look he was about to kill him. “You now you dog this pack is the fastest pack there is.”
“Ah, ah ha, ha, ha!” Hamal heard Pete laugh, “Wrong one I told you I was trying to get that guy home not myself.”
The other three wolves where over at Hamal, they looked at each other realizing they where tricked by Pete instantly ran towards Cronos.
Cronos got to his feet hearing all the noise, “What the…” He shook his head trying to think right. “Where are Pete?” He started to look around.
He turned to see Hamal running over at him, he instantly went low to the ground not wanting to get hit by him again. “Sorry!” He apologized not knowing what he did.
Hamal looked Cronos was in the same spot he was sleeping, “A trick!” he turned around with harsh curses to Pete. “Oy by now he is out even our reach, he is rather fast.”
After a few hours of running and falling down Pete had reached the town of Nome shocked he made there alive. He went behind a box before falling down. “I made out, sorry Cronos…but I didn’t want to die with you, goodbye…”
