Good bye papa. Tell mom...I finally found myt home. Aleu jumped off the ice berg and swam to the wolves on the iceberg. Balto had a flashback of her as a pup and then watched her swim across. Two wolves helped her up then she turned around and looked at Balto and howled goodbye to him.
"Good bye, daughter." He said proudly.
Then all the wolves and Muru joined aleu howling as Balto watched them disapear into the horizon. wehn he saw that they had left, he turned and went back to the shore where he found Nava watching.
"She will be a great leader. And now it is time for you to go home." He said.
"But what about you? You're alone now, where will you go?" asked Balto.
"I will find Niju. We are still a clan and will not be whole wiithout each other. Goodbye my bother." Nava said, then he left.
Balto started to walk away, but then he saw the raven fly above him and go behind him. Balto stopped. "Now what?"
"Only the journey home, my son." said a voice.
Balto turned and could believe what he saw. There was Aniu, and she was talking to him! "Aniu, your my--" he stated to say.
Aniu nodded and and howled. Then the wind came and she disappeared.
"Goodbye to you too, mother." he said. Then Balto took one last look at the icebergs and ran home. wehn he got back into Nome, he realized something. He would miss Aleu, but he promised Jenna that he would bring her home. He had to tell Jenna that Aleu found her place, but how?
Suddenly Boris came over to him. "Ah Balto you have returned...but vhere is Aleu?"
"Boris, she found her home...among the wolves, and i am very proud of her. But I have to tell Jenna." then Balto ran off to Jenna's house.
"Good luck boychick." said Boris before Balto ran away.
Balto reached Jenna's house and saw her outside. He slowly walked over. All his thoughts were on how he would tell Jenna that Aleu left. "What am I going to say? Hey Jen, guess what! Aleu is running with wolves now!" he thought to himself. Then he remembered what Aleu told him.
"Umm, Jenna?" he said.
"Oh Balto thanks goodness your back! But where is Aleu?"
Balto told her evrything that happened. "But before she left, she told me to tell you that she finally found her home."
"I am sad that shes gone. But I am happy that she found her place." said Jenna calmly.
"I know, I feel the same way."
"Oh, and Balto?"
"Yes?"
"Kodi wants to be a mail dog."
Balto sighs. From one kid to another. Another adventure is coming.
