Summary:This story is about my version of Balto's father Chase all he ever thought about was running until he got lost in a sled dog race.Then He was abandon by his team.Then he met a beautiful wolf named Aniu.

setting:Near the town in Nome,Alaska

                           CHAPTER ONE
                       THE RACE
               
Chase the sled dog was getting ready for a big race every one on his team was exitead.One of his team mates was singing a stupid song."SHUT UP."Chase said with Depression in his voice."Why?" asked the dog on his team with conffusson."I'm happy."the dog explained."WELL YOU BETTER STOP BEING HAPPY!"he shouted"WE HAVE TO FOCAS."

"Ok ok setal down cheif."he said with a frown on his face."FIVE,FOUR,THREE,TWO,ONE! a shot of a gun and the race began.The dogs ran almost as fast as they could.they were almost out of breath so they stoped for the night at tent NO.34 the dogs took off again at 5:30 A.M. then a heavy snow storm hit and it started to snow hard.

Then snow started to go into his eyes.His harness slipped off no madder what happend he just kept running.Then when he was out of breath he stoped and said "Good job team!" he said while he was panting his heart out."Team?""Were did you guys go?"

                          CHAPTER TWO
                       LOST
The snow was to thick to see through  so he ran then he saw a den.He thought it was a good place to lay low until the storm died down. so he trotted in side half dead.Then he saw thease glowing Amber eyes when enterd the cave.then this buetiful whight wolf came out and kind of flirted a little. Love at first sight they both.Loved each other so then as Aniu was nuzzling him Aniu's father and said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"I-I..."she stammerd.I'm with another wolf."She said.
"Another wolf?"he thought "Whats she talking about?"Then Chase let out a soft

 growel."WHAT DID YOU JUST DO TO ME?"The Powerful wolf roared.Then the Huge wolf(well if thats how i discribe it or humungas wolf)And sniffed him "HE"S NOT A WOLF!"He roared again."THIS IS A DOG!"He roared louder than before.Then Aniu's mom saw that her mate was chocking Chase with his paw agenst the dirt wall."then bit him on the throute hard enouph to calm him down.then he was shocked"Wh-why did you do that?"he asked "i did it so you wouln't hurt this poor dog!"she scolded him them he got up ran into the forest thats the last anyones ever seen Sandstorm again.


                                 CHAPTER THREE
                                 MATES

It was night then Chase nuged Aniu to wake her up."Aniu wake up."he said quietly she opened one eye then the other then got up"What is it dear?"she asked "i have something to show you." he said smirking her
"Can't we do what ever it is in the morning?"she said yawning "it won't work then but if it does I'll be busy."he said"ok lets go."she said nuzziling him.Chase led the way to the boiler room "After you."he said smiling. when they were there then he pic up a bunch of broken bottals."be care full Chase!You will hurt your self!"She said he smirked at her "Don't worry love."he said "i won't get cut.

then he pushed the bottales a little bit to the north,then Aniu was astounded! "Oh Chase it's beautiful!"she said "Ya beautiful."he said Then they both smield and schrunched there noses to each other then Aniu licked him lovely,then before you know it they fell asleap.When they woke up "how was your seep dear?"Aniu asked Chase "it was good.i havent slept like that in forever."he told her "How about yours hun?" "Mine was good."then she felt a sharp pain run thruogh her stomach."Exuse me."as she went over to a bush  to vomit."Are you all right dear?"

"Yes I'm fine."she stated then when they were on there way back she kept falling and saying she dosn't feel good."Lets get back to the pack before i become more sick!"they rushed ther and her mother asked her "Did you eat anything bad?!" she asked "No All i ate was a rabbit AHH!" then her mothers frown turned into a smile. "You and chase came home to gether right?" "Ya Why?" "Then your expecting pups!" "Pups?I-Is that good?" "Yes right son!Uh Son?" then she herd whining and yiping. then peered out of the den.Then saw her son(well one of her sons)pining Chase agenst a tree.then bit him in the leg. Chase yoweld then Aniu's mom bit her son on the tail.then he ran in a circle yowling."DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!" "Ok mom."he wimperd.

When the day the pups were born it was naming  day then Chase entered the den and Aniu was waiting for him."Hi hun.Ready?"he asked biting his lip."yes I'm ready." "Lets do the males first."he said "sure."she said He looked at the first male and said "Thunder."he blurted out Aniu took the female pups "Penny,Mya,Jennifer,Lola."she said "Thunder,Tommbo ,Bernard,Teddy,Balto."he said with amusment."I like those names." she said as she nuzzaled her mate."I'll leave so you can get your rest."he said.

                                CHAPTER FOUR
                                NEW MEMBER

Mean while a young Alaskan husky pup ran throught the forest with the wind in his fase.Then ran into a big Gray and white thing.And looked up and saw a(n)big Alaskan husky like him "Hi."Chase said with a smile then the pup wagged his tail and said"Hi!"he said in exitement."You beter hurry home before my pack fineds you.'he said "Cool!Can i join?!" "Sure!"he said and led the little husky to the pack.
