Lavender,Duke,Abagal,Ron (c.) to me (cloudwolf)!If you want to use any of my characters please ask me first.

There was a young wolf pup sitting outside a dark den. This was a young girl wolf pup, her name is Lavender and she has pretty, soft, silver fur. Her mom was the pack leader(af) and her dad was the am. Their names are Abagal and Ron. Abagal has beatiful, silver fur and is very pretty. Ron has light black fur with a hint of silver and is very handsome. One day Lavender was outside in the cool breeze of the air. It was early in the morning and she was the only one up. She sat alone in the dim light of the morning. Then she heard something move in the bushes, so she turned her head to see a figure about her size run out of the bushes. This was a wolf pup that was her age, size and that was all a light brown color with a little spot of white above his muzzle. She got right up and walked over to the wolf pup.

She asked "What are you doing here and who are you?"

 "There was some kind of big creature following me well running after me!" panted the wolf pup.

Just then her mom came outside of the den, she looked surprised. "What is going on?" she asked as she looked at her daughter.

Lavender answered "He ran into me while I was sitting here enjoying the cool air. He said that he was being chased by a human."

"Get in the den now then take him with you, and tell your father to get out here now!" She ordered while Lavender ran in the den followed by the other pup.

She yelled "Dad."

When her father came out of the shadow he asked "What?" while staring at the pup sitting beside her.

"Mom wants you out there now." she said while pointing to the outside of the den with her paw. When he heard her he ran out of the den wondering wht there was a strange pup in his home.

Once Lavender saw that her dad was out of the den she said "Where do you live?" to the pup sitting next to her.

The pup answered "Down the path in a cave I found a little while ago."

"You live by yourself?" she asked

He answered "Ya" She looked him in the eye and saw the worry and fright in his eyes.

"Well come on then." she said in a confident voice

"Okay" he answered. She started to walk farther onto the den toward the area where she slept, when she looked behind her and saw that her father was following her.

"Where do you think your taking him?" he asked.

"To my room because we are tired." she answered, as she herself put on a tired voice.

"I see you both are tired so go get some sleep if you are that tired." he said in a calm and friendly voice.

She started to walk toward her room while her dad went the opposite direction.

She asked the pup a question "What's your name?"

The pup looked blank as he answered "I have no name."

Lavender said quickly "Hold on then I will be right back. Just go down this way and there is a clearing there. That is where I sleep so I will meet you there." she said as walking toward where they came from. The pup listened and went toward where she told him to go then when she saw hat he was almost there she darted off toward the entrance.

She saw her mom first so she ran over to her and said "You know the pup that is in the den? Well he has no name and no home so I was wonering..."

Her mom cut her off and said "Yes he can stay here and tell him he can pick his own name, and I will be around to see what he picked as his name." she sounded as if this was the right thing to do.

Lavender said in a thankful voice "Thanks mom." After she said that she ran back toward her room and burst in startling the other pup. "My mom said you can stay her and she has told me that you can chose your own name."

The pup looked just as startled as she did and he said " I've always liked the name Duke."
