I'm Ty. A male wolf that's black with an under belly of brown. My tail has a mixture of the two colors. My mother's name is Lou, brown and white. My father's name is Zig, black and gray. I was born with two brothers and a sister. Jamella, female, Black and brown, no mixture at tail. Lance, male, black and white. Trum, male, brown and white.
I wasn't a happy wolf. Never smiled. Also my parents treated me different from the 3 others. They hated me. From the first few days of my life, they gave me scar's. My favorite place was lake nearby my (unfortunately) home. It was beautiful.
One day, 18 months old, I went to the lake. And before i took a sip, i saw my reflection, suddenly I began to see color. I thought it might be my body development. But it did not seem right that my mother's background eye color is pitch black. She approached me and stepped on my head. After she left, I risen from that and i saw Jamella, And her eye color was blue. After a few days of seeing each and every (i think) eye color from every family member
Red = happy
Blue = sad
Yellow = shy
Green = worried/nervous
Purple = depressed
Black = hatred
I can turn off this ability, but cannot stop seeing color.
I went to the lake and i saw my own emotion , Its striped for the three colors. Blue, Green, and purple. One word summary: unloved. Tears came out of my eyes, after that sight
"I'm alone." I said to myself
I went back at my home that day and i only saw my brothers and sister.
"What happened?" Lance questioned
"What do you mean besides the fact that i got torturistic parents!?" I yelled at him
"No it's not that." Trum said knowing that lance could got hurt if he answered
"Well whats wrong with me?" I said slowly walking to him ready to attack
"Its your eyes." Trum said showing no fear.
"What? You guys can't do this?" I said thinking that I'm different.
"No" all three answered.
"That and we never seen anything except black and white." Jamella answered further.
After what Jamella said, I knew something, that something is about NOT knowing something. I ran out feeling that I was a retard for a attempt to hurt my brothers. I went to the lake once again. And when I saw my reflection again, I knew I needed to find a better home.
Before I began running, this rabbit tried to sneak through me. I wasn't hungry but I know I need the energy. So a short chase happened, killed it, and took one large bite out of his lifeless body. I ran as fast I could, finally i feel cool air, rushing through my stressed out body, felt warm from the afternoon sun before I ran away.
Nightfall start. I was worn out. I needed a place to stay tonight to rest. I sniffed around the area for while. I scented a wolf near, JUST ONE. I followed the scent and........ I found her, sleeping. She was gray with a white under belly, with white "socks". She.....was.....beautiful. I thought water was beautiful. This feeling I had in my chest that I never felt in my life. I turn my ability on and her eyes were Green, Blue, and purple. She felt like what felt before I found. I had this thought in my head to say something. But I did not what to disturb her rest. So I left her alone. But a few minute later I heard a noise from back there I hoped I she was ok.
A few hours later when the sun's light started to make the clouds change to a pinkish/ orangish color in the sky, I reached the mountain ranges. Finally a good path without the worry of tripping on debris. I got to the top of this one mountain. I found the ocean right in front of me. Feeling I was nearby home. I turn around the corner and....... I heard a howl from the cave nearby me.
"Your singing was quite beautiful."
"Thank you, sometimes I just can't help myself."
Oh that was beautiful indeed. I sniffed around and it's the wolf I saw last night! I couldn't hear what they were saying because I was trying to recall the howl. But whoever was in there with her, was probably taking care of her. I walked around the corner and left. Before I reached the plains. Another wolf was walking at me.
"Hello" I said
"Have you've seen my daughter?" the stranger asked
"What does sh.....I'm sorry I don't like to she or he to point out a person. What's her name and what does she look like?" Not lying about the name thing.
"Her name is Aleu, and she is gray and white with white "socks"." He answered.
"Oh think she's on the mountain that were standing on" I proclaimed
"Thank you." He started running up the mountain.
So that's her name, Aleu. At least I don't have to call her a "she" or a "her" all the time. The feeling in my chest from just looking at Aleu, expanded. Never felt this way before, ........Was it love? or something else. I walked off the mountain and into the plains.
As I went deeper into the plains, the ocean's smell of salt grew even more. The feeling of being nearby a home a grew along with the feeling of Aleu. Another wolf looked at me at was ready to attack.
"What the hell are you doing her?!" The wolf said
"What wrong with just entering a place." I said know he will get pissed off.
I turn on my ability and his eyes were black, Hate at first sight.
"Stop what you are doing Niju!" One walks up to him.
"So you think he's alright to being here Nava?" Niju said
"Well you treat everyone like crap, get out of here." Nava said
Niju walked away from Nava, like just lost a war.
"Who are you?" Nava asked.
"Ty" I answered.
"What are you doing here?" Nava asked more.
"To get away from a life that physically and mentally hurt me." I said softly.
"Do you want to join our clan?" Nava said with a smile.
"Clan?" I said.
"Yes." Nava said.
"I would like to." I accepted his offer.
"Follow me." Nava turned around .
I followed him in the clans home, now I know why Niju tried to protected. Nava howled to alert the clan that there is another member. One by one, soon enough every member was looking at me. I howled out gladly to accepted to become a member of the clan. Nava showed me around and showed me where my home is. After all that I went striaght to the ocean shore.
I jumped onto the shallow water and I found myself, smiling, in my reflection. My eyes are red. I knew this is my home and I will never live in anywhere else. A alaskan salmon jumped up and I took it before it went into the water. Took it on the shore and began eating it.
"Hopefully i'll get some king crab." i laughed
" I laughed to myself.I laying down on the ground watching the ocean tides coming in. A few minutes later my eyes were droping, and began sleeping. A few minutes of sleep then I had a scent, It was Aleu. I got up and ran, maybe this time I can meet Aleu. I saw Aleu on the rock that reaches for the ocean, with her father, and I saw Nuk, Yak, Sumac, and Niju attacking them. At then I knew now that Aleu wasn't a member here, but I did not want anything happening to them two.
I alerted Nava to stop them attacking the two. Instead of just Nava coming to help the two, the whole clan went with him. Nava put a end to the fight. Niju got wet from a near by whale, and everyone was laughing....... except for me. I never saw Aleu when she was awake. But her eyes was piercing blue (my ability wasn't on). Her eyes looked like they were sculpt by the heavens.
A meeting was held at the clan base, the caribou is at russia. Stubborn Niju demands leadership, and wants us to stay here, which will kill us. Nava gives leadership to Niju, Niju tries to attack Nava, and he just vanished! The clan followed Niju, the only ones that did not go was Aleu, her father and me.
I was spying on the and suddenly Nava.....I don't know....outmerges from the tree. The three facing to the ocean. I was still in disbelief of what Nava just did. I turn my ability and Aleu's emotion was not detected, and (for some reason) I was seeing caribou in her eyes. But for the reason (probably interfering with what she saw) my eyes started to burn.
"Damn it!!!!!" I yelled out my eyes burning.
After the few minute it ended. But blurred my vision, and screwed up my ability. I knew she could of done worse, but she did not know me. Night came in a matter of minutes. I needed rest, haven't had any sleep since the day I decided to run. I felt alone again, not because of pain, because of politics.
I woken the next day, very early in the morning. I looked around and saw Nava on the rock where Aleu was attacked yesterday. A few minutes later Aleu ran up to him and sat right besides him. I was far away to hear anything. A storm came, soon the rain turn into snow.
My thoughts were in a fight, try to help the clan to get to cross the water, or find out the special feelings I have to Aleu. But we need to go or there won't be the clan nor Aleu If were stuck here. The storm ended, but a cold chill came into the area, causing ice to form in the ocean.
Balto took the leadership from Niju with support from every single member of the clan, except Niju of course. The packs of ice was forming a bridge, I thought let it get cold enough to have the ocean frozen solid, well we have to risk it, to get the hell out of here. Everyone got with partner, if anything happen to a member. I was looking for Aleu, but she was supporting Nava. I got on the ice without anyone.
Everyone got on the ice. Almost immediately, something was wrong. Part of the ice broke snapped off where Nava was standing, He was drifting of, away from Aleu. Aleu tried to jump to him but just had her front paws on the ice. I was worried that the worst was coming, and it happen, the rotated, she was in danger of getting crushed by the ice. The two ice packs came together. I had a tear in my eye thinking she died from the ice. I heard a splash from the water, and it Aleu, more than relief came, when i saw her back on the ice.
But Niju had to put stress on the thought of her dying. Balto jumped in and puts all of his strength to get to her in time before anything happens to Aleu. The wolfs around me howled fear, no leader, no prediction of whats going to happen. I saw Niju cowardly swam back to shore.
Something was going on, I knew with all my heart Aleu, a visitor of the clan, as the same day was one, was now the leader of the clan. She swam back to shore, alone. Nava and Balto left behind at shore. As she got on the ice, for the trip to russia. Aleu howled Balto, Goodbye. when she took a breathe I join with her, soon the whole clan.
We distant of further in the ocean, unable to see alaska. I was in front of where were headed to, Aleu walked up to see where we were going. Up close I saw her, awake. In the corner of her eye, she looked at me, Aleu looked at me as if I was threatening to hurt her.
"When we get to shore, I would like to talk to you tonight." Aleu whispered in my ear.
We finally reached shore, it was night so the clan was sleeping on the sand that night. Aleu and I was walking along the shore, talking.
"You may not know me, I'm Ty." I said.
"Why did your eyes change color that night?" Aleu asked
"You saw me that night?" I was worried, She nodded yes.
"Well I was looking at your emotion, and you seemed to be unloved."I answered.
"I thought I wasn't loved, but I was." Aleu said.
"What does love feel like?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" She questioned back.
"Well my parent did this to me." I was shufflng my fur to show the scar's they did to me. Aleu's mouth dropped in disbelief.
"What does love feel like?" I asked again.
"Oh um........ah...... well that's when you feel like your at home and....." She hesitated.
"And what?" I said.
"And when two are in love." Aleu said without hesitation.
"Oh, well can I see your emotion, since you know what you feel?" I asked
"Ok!" Aleu said excitedly.
Hopefully, the ability isn't damaged from last time. I turn my ability on....
"It's pink!? Never seen that before. What's mine." I Asked.
"Pink!" Aleu said.
"I'm sorry but I don't know what that color expresses. Also that night when I first saw you, Your the most beautiful person I layed eyes on. The time when you howled from the mountains, I thought you became a angel for second. And also when Niju got wet from the whale, your eyes distracted me, It looked like your eyes were sculpted from the heavens." I said out loud.
"I think I know the color pinks." Aleu walked very, very closed to me.
"What?" I was worried.
"Love." Aleu said.
She began nuzzling me. I finally knew what love is. We were nuzzling each other for a few minutes. We stopped nuzzling, but I started kissing Aleu, I knew she loved me back. After a few minutes of kissing, we walked back to clan, our tails were tied with each other. We reached back where the clan slept that night.
"Goodnight Ty." Aleu said while laying down.
"I love you Aleu." I layed down besides her.
My tail was on top of Aleu like a blanket.
"I love you too Ty." Aleu said.
My life is now better, harmony, I found the person who loved me. I found a home. Hopfully, all the harmful stuff in the past, stays there.
