The Story
Balto was walking through his home town of Nome when he spotted Jenna, she was sulking. Balto walked up to her. "Hey Jen, what's wrong," He asked. "Oh, nothing," She responded. "Why do you ask?" "You just seem..... upset," Balto responded. "Well, Blackjack joined Kodi's team yesterday and they left on a delivery, but they haven't come back in two days, and they were just going to Catrina Bay," Jenna explained to Balto as a puzzled look came over his face.
"Odd, Blackjack would've told me if he was joining Kodi's team, he tells me almost everything," Balto said, "I'm going to set out to find them, Catrina Bay is only an hours travel from here." "I'm coming with you," Jenna responded. "No, this will be a simple one," Balto replied as Jenna's ears went down, "It'll be fine, they'll be back in no time. trust me."
That night, Balto set out for Catrina Bay, but he didn't know that what was there would change him forever. He was five minutes from Catrina Bay. "I can see it, Kodi and Blackjack have to be there," Balto said as he ran toward Catrina Bay. Suddenly four objects appeared out of the shadows, one of them tackling Balto. "Hi, remember me," the thing said. The four things beat on Balto and after a while left him there.
When they were out of site Balto stood up. "What the hell was that," Balto pondered for a second, "Oh well, I'm gonna go home." The next day Balto arrived back at Nome. He saw Jenna talking with Blackjack and Kodi. "I haven't seen him," Kodi said. "What about you Blackjack," Jenna asked. "I haven't seen dad either," Blackjack responded. Balto walked up, "I'm right here." They didn't listen. "I know, let's send a search party to Catrina Bay," Blackjack said. "No need I'm right here," Balto tried to talk to them but they still didn't listen. "Hello." Balto kicked snow at Blackjack. He looked down, it was as if he never even kicked the snow. It was still there. Suddenly the governing dog of Catrina Bay walked up. "I'm sorry to tell you all this, but we found Balto's body five minutes from Catrina bay." A tear came to Jenna's eye. "No, he can't," Jenna said softly as she started to cry. "No, I'm not dead I'm right here, what is this a movie," Balto questioned. When another dog walked up. "It isn't a movie your dead."
