WASHINGTON D.C., FEB 28
Balto, Jenna and Rosy's family have been living in D.C. for five months now. Since most of their pups left Nome to some other large cities they had no trouble leaving. They were actually glad that they left, because of the crazy weather occuring in the Northern Canada and Alaska.
They were worried about one pup, Kodi. He was the only one who didn't left Nome, since he was in the mail team. But one day they heard Rosy's father saying that Kodi's team was leaving Nome to New York to get out of the weather. They were relieved after hearing that.
Jenna, "Well, at least Kodi safe." Balto nods in agreement.
"Yeah...I was getting worried that he might be trapped in that town forever."
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 1
Kodi looked at the Manhattan skyline while Mr. Simpson was driving acroos the Brooklyn Bridge. Dusty got up next to him. "I'd never thought I'd be able to see the most awesome city in the world!" she said excited.
"Yeah I know." Kodi said. Then they smell something. The look around the car.
Dusty turns to Kodi. "Kodi, what's that smell?"
Kodi shrugs. "I don't know Dus......" he turns to Ralph. "Ralph!"
Ralph turns to him. "What?"
"Seriously in the car!?" Kodi and dusty yelled together. Kirby laughs so hard he almost falls off his seat.
"Why do you guys always blame me?" Ralph said looking dumbfounded.
"Because it's always you!" Kodi said and started to and Dusty laughed too. Ralph frowns.
Up front Mr. Simpson looks around. "Arrgh! What the hell's that smell!?"
Kodi, Dusty and Kirby tried to stop laughing but failed. Ralph rools his eyes.
LATER IN NEW YORK
Mr. Simpson was stuck in traffic. They were in Manhattan. The streets were crowded with cars. Kodi and the others senced something. They looked at each other.
"Do you guys feel something bad's going to happen?" Kodi asked. They nodded.
"Yeah I feel creeped out." exclaimed Kirby. Dusty looks out the back window.
"uh guys look." The group looks out the back window and sees the birds in the sky flying south. Then with no warning it started to rain. No not rain, pour. It poured down like cats and dogs. Dusty looks worried. "I think I'm having second thoughts on this trip."
WASHINGTON D.C. MAR 2
Balto and Jenna were sitting next to each other in front of the television. They nuzzle each other until Rosy's father walks in and turns on the television. The NEWS is on.
"Today in Alaska unuasl weather has struck out. In Nenana, a bizzard blew twelve feet of snow into the town. Nome was almost completely covered by the avalanche in White Mountain."
Balto and Jenna exchange worried looks. "Nome," they both said. "Oh my god." Jenna said and turned back to the television.
"Anchorage was flooded and the Aleutian Islands are gone. Also in Northern Canada, Siberia and Scottland have been having trouble with the weather." The news station shows a satellite image of a large storm in the north. It was in a shape of a hurricane, but much larger. "If this storm goes where it is predicted to go, cities like Washington, Los Angeles and Baltimore will be hit as well. Seattle, Boston and New york have already been infected in small ways."
Jenna turns to Balto. "Kodi." She wisphered. Balto nuzzled her. "Don't worry he'll be fine." He told her.
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 2
It was night, and a party was going on. Dogs were all over the place. Some people were there too. Kodi and Kirby were talking to each other. "I bet I can out run everyone of these dogs in here." Kirby said proudly.
Kodi shrugs. "Everyone except for the one standing in front of you." Kirby frowns. Dusty walks to them.
"Hey guys." Dusty said to them. They turn to her.
"Hey." Kirby said.
Kodi smiled. "Hey......wow you look stunning." Kirby turns to Kodi looks suspicous.
Dusty smiles. "Thanks, this place is amazing. Can you believe how big it is in here." Ralph walks over to Dusty.
"Hey Dust, you wanna get a drink?" He asked her. Dusty shrugs.
"Sure" She turns to Kodi and Kirby. "See you guys later." She walks away with Ralph. Kodi and Kirby watch them walk away.
Kirby smirks. "Man, it's looks like you got some serious competition."
Kodi turns to him looking confused. "What?"
"Ralph looks like he's going for the same girl as you." Kirby said.
Kodi rolls his eyes. "Oh, please."
"I bet they're really gonna get some tonight."
"Shut up." Kodi told him.
SCOTTLAND, MAR 2
Three helicopters were flying over scottland in the bizzard snow. "We've got zero visibility, maintain heading and speed." one of the pilots said.
In one of the helicopters the pilot asked. "What's our heading?"
"035, sir." said one of the men in the helicopter. "Approximately 40 kilometers from Balmoral Castle."
"We've lost visual contact with you." a pilot said in the radio. The helicopters continue to fly in the bozzard snow.
After a few mintues they flew out into a clearing. They were in the eye of the storm.
"This gauge can't be right." one of the pilots said.
"Wind speed has drop to zero," another pilot said. "We have vertical walled cirrus cloud formations." The front windows of the helicopter begin to freeze.
"What the hell's going on?" asked one of the copilots in the helicopter as the inside begins to freeze.
"The bloody fuel lines are starting to freeze." said the pilot. The spiral wings of the helicopter begin to freeze and the helicopter falls to the great. It crashes into the snow.
In the other helicopter the pilots are having the same troubles. "Port engine pressure is dropping, the rotor rpm is dropping." said the copilot.
"We've got a flameout and starboard side as well." said the pilot. They look up and see the lines in the ceiling freeze into ice. The helicopter begins to spiral down to the ground and crashes into the snow.
The last helicopter was also about to fall. "Select emergency fuel!" said the pilot. The wings freeze and stop. The helicopter begins to fall. "Come on you bastard!" the pilot yelled at the helicopter, but it kept falling. "Prepare for crash landing!"
The helicopter crashes onto the snow and slides down the snowy hill. Once it stops sliding one of the pilots open the door and try to get out be the big freeze froze him into ice.
WASHINGTON D.C., MAR 3
The next day Balto saw the birds flying south. He looked confused and had a bad feeling. He turned back to the house when he heard someone talk to him. "Well, if it isn't little old boychick here." He turned and saw Boris standing behind him.
"Hey, Boris. Haven't seen you in a long time." Balto said happily now that Boris was back. Boris shrugs.
"He, I guess so."
"So how's Stella?"
Boris shrugs. "Flying down south like me."
"Why are all the birds flying south?"
Boris sighs. "Listen boychick, something really bad is coming and I'm vorried that many people von't survive it."
Balto looked confused and worried. "What do you mean?"
"I'm arfaid you might have to leave Vashington or else you and your mate vill sufer. Poor Boston, poor Nome, poor New York."
"Boris! What's going on, my son Kodi is in New York"
Boris looks shocked. "Oh, then Balto I'm sorry but he might not survive it."
Boris really got on Balto's nerves now. "God damn it Boris, what's gonna happen, what's so bad that's coming!?"
Boris sighed again. "The veather Balto, ve're on the verge of a major climate shift."
"And what does that mean?"
"An Ice Age is coming Balto! An Ice Age! The entire north part of the world will be frozen solid!" Boris yelled.
Balto looks shocked. "Kodi, I have to save Kodi!"
"What's going on Balto?"
Balto turns to the front door and see Jenna standing there. She walks up to him. "What's wrong?"
Balto sighed. "Jenna, I think Kodi might be in danger."
Jenna looks scared and worried. "Why?"
"Because the end of the vorld is coming!" Boris yelled. Jenna turns to Boris.
"Oh, Boris I didn't see you there. Long time no see." She said.
"Same here." Boris said.
"What is this end of the world thing?" Jenna asked.
"Well, it's not really end of the world, more like end of the northern hemisphere." Balto said.
"How so?"
"Well, an Ice Age is coming and it's gonna freeze everything in the northern parts of the planet, including New York and here."
Jenna looks taken aback. "Oh my god, Balto we have to get out of here."
Balto nods in agreement. "But I have to safe Kodi first."
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 4
Kodi, Dusty, Kirby and Ralph are walking in the rain with Mr. Simpson. It was pouring crazy. Mr. Simpson turned to them. "Come on if you wanna get out of this rain we need to the hotel fast." He walked faster. The dogs followed.
Mr. Simpson walks through to cabs in front of ech other by jumping on the hood of the cab. He gets across and helps the dogs walk on the hood of the car. Dusty was the last one to cross. She slipped and since the street was flooded to about one foot, one of her legs went into the water. Her leg scratched though the bumper of the cab.
"Whoa are you okay?" Mr. Simpson asked her, not knowing her cut. She nods and walks across when a the cab had two screaming people in it. Mr. Simpson walk over to them, one was a young girl. They were screaming in Russian and Mr. Simpson could understand and speak russian as well. He told them to calm down.
Kodi, Kirby and Ralph walked up the stairs of the large New York Public Libary, to get away from the rain.
Meanwhile at the Statue of Liberity a rouge wave runs through it, covering half of the statue. It heads for Manhattan in a fast pace.
Back at the front of the libary Mr. Simpson breaks the back window and the two people climp out.
During that the wave pushes through Downtown Manahattan. The water runs down the streets of the city.
A bus driver is sitting in his bus he's listening to the radio. "There is a wall of water coming towards New York City, everybody get out!" and the radio goes into static. The bus hits the radio. He turns to look outside he sees people running. He looks at his side mirror and see the wall of water coming for the bus. The bus driver faints as the wave lifts the bus and pushes it though the streets.
At the libary Mr. Simpson and the two woman was walking into the libary when the older woman turned back yelling. Mr. Simpson turned to Dusty. "Dusty can you get back to the cab, she left her purse there" Dusty nods and walks over to the cab.
Kodi sees her walking towards the cab. He looks up and sees a wall of water coming for them. He looks shocked. "Oh my...." He sees the wave coming closer. He turns to see Dusty. Dusty gets inside the cab and grabs the purse.
"Dusty!" Kodi yelled out to her but she couldn't hear. Kodi then ran to the cab. "Dusty!"
Kirby and Ralph try to stop him but it was no use. "No Kodi don't!" They yelled out to him. He wouldn't listen. If Dusty goes I go he thought.
He gets to Dusty. "Dusty come on! Dusty look!" Dusty turns to see a wave coming at her. Kodi took her paw and pulled her off the cab. They ran up the stairs as the wave run down the streets it hits the stairs with a big splash.
The team runs inside the libary. They run up the stairs. Kodi turns back and sees the water bring through the front windows. He runs with the team deeper into the building.
The water surrounds the outside of the building.
WASHINGTON D.C., MAR 5
Rosy's family was packing up. Balto walks over to Jenna. "Jenna what's going on?"
Jenna crys. "Oh, Balto they're evcuating the north side of the country."
"Well, that's great, we'll see Kodi then."
"That's the problem Balto, a tidal wave run across New York City. The city is submerged under water!" She crys and rests her head on Balto's neck. Balto looks shocked.
"No it can't be." He said softly.
"But it happened."
"How much under water is the city?" He asked her.
"About five stories high."
"Then he still alive."
Jenna looks at him. "What do you mean?"
Balto smiles. "I know Kodi, he would give up. If there's that one chance of survival he'll get that chance."
Jenna give a small smile and it quickly faded away. "We should get going to Mexico, that's where they're telling everyone to go."
"Your going. Not me."
Jenna looks at him. "I'm gonna get Kodi." Balto said. "Boris well go with you guys so you'll have company."
"But Balto, how?"
"Hey if I can save a whole town, then I can save my son." Jenna look at him and cried. She nuzzled him.
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 5
Inside the libary dozens of people have been talking shelter. Kodi and Dusty were sitting next to each other. Dusty smiled at him. "Thank you....for saving my life."
Kodi smiled back. "Hey, that's what friends are for."
Dusty looked at the purse in front of her. "I guess I'll return her bag." She licked Kodi's cheek without knowing and took the purse to the woman.
Kodi smiles. "Kodi."
He turns around and sees Kirby. "Just tell her how you feel." He told Kodi. Kodi shrugs. "I don't know what about Ralph?"
"I'm okay with it." Kodi saw Ralph walking up to him. "Hey you risked your life to save her's, I don't think I'll ever do that. So your probably the better canditate."
Kodi smiles. "Thanks guys."
WASHINGTON D.C., MAR 6
Balto got the old sled out of the garage. He tied some supplies onto it. Jenna walks to him. "Look Balto, I know I can't stop you from going but at least let me help?"
"Sorry Jenna, I can't you have to protect Rosy." Jenna sighs.
"I knew you would say that, that's why the others have come."
Balto stops he turns to Jenna. "What others?"
"Us." He turns to the side and sees Kaltag, Nikki and Star standing there. "You helped us that night with the antitoxin and now it's our time to return the favor." Kaltag said.
Balto smiles. "Thanks guys but you don't have to."
"Oh but we do." Star said.
"Oh did you guys get here anyway?"
"We fought we'd pay you a visit." Nikki said. "But we didn't know that it actually saved us from that avalanche."
Balto nods. "Yeah, I'm actually a little worried about my daughter Aleu too."
"Why should you be" Said someone standing behind Kaltag, Nikki and Star. The dog walked out. It was Aleu. "I came with them when I heard about it." Aleu said.
Balto smile he run to her and hugged her. "I'm coming with you guys. Kodi's my brother."
"But Aleu..."
"Don't even think your gonna leave me out, I had had expiecne than any of you here." Aleu told her father. "I'm not going anywhere papa."
He hugs her again. "Thank you." he whispered into her ear. Aleu smiled.
"Well, we'd better get going." Kaltag said. Balto nodded in agreement. He over to Jenna and hugs her.
"Please becareful Balto." She told him.
"I will." Balto said. Boris walks out to him. "See you soon Boris."
"Argh, I think you've lost your mind again, but he is your son." Boris said. Balto and turned to the sled. "Oh, and Balto."
Balto turned back to Boris. Boris sighed. "Remember this, a dog can't make this journey alone, but maybe a wolf can."
Balto smiles. "Thanks Boris, but this time, I'm not alone."
He tied himself to the sled. The other did the same. Soon they were all ready to go. They said their last goodbyes to Jenna and Boris and took off.
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 7
Kodi, Dusty, Kirby, Ralph and everyone else in taking shelter was in a small room with a fire place. Kodi and Dusty were sitting next to each other in front of the fire. Dusty had been covering her cut with a blanket.
"I got one...your favorite vacation." Dusty said.
Kodi thought for a while. "Besides this one?" Dusty giggled. "Uh, well, I guess that time we at the beach together."
Dusty laughed. "That wasn't a vacation."
Kodi looked at her. "It felt like one." Dusty smiled. Then they heard something coming from outside. They got to the window where Kirby and Ralph were looking outside. They saw a ship slowing floating and stopping in front of the libary.
They turned to the room, the people were sleeping, only about ten were in the room since everyone else was stupid enough to live the libary and try to head to Mexico.
Kodi and Dusty went back to the place where they were before. "Okay what about this," Dusty started. "Your favorite dog."
Kodi smiled. He looks at Dusty. "I'll give you a hint, that dog has five letters in it's name."
"Balto?" Dusty asked.
Kodi shakes his head. Dusty thinks and then she smiles.
SOMEWHERE BETWEEN D.C. and NY, MAR 9
Balto and the team had been traveling for about two days now. A bizzard had started. They had just past Philadelphia. The team rested every now and then.
Balto turned to the team and yelled. "Come on guys!" The team ran as fast as they could.
MEXICO, MAR 10
Jenna and Rosy's family had now reached to Mexico on plane. They had a tent to stay in. In Mexico it was snowing but not as heavy. Jenna looked up into the sky. "Oh, Balto. Please keep your promise and be safe." she whispered.
NEW JERSEY, MAR 13
The team had finally made it to the west borders of New Jersey. They were walking above a glass ceiling of a mall they didn't know. The glass under Nikki started to crack.
The kept running when the glass broke and Nikki fell in. Since he was tied to the rope he didn't die. He was hanging in mid air. The rope started to pull in the sled. If the sled fall they'll all fall. Aleu untied herself and grabbed the sled.
Star looked down the hole. "Are you alright Nikki!?"
Nikki nodded. "I'm fine! Just dropped in to do a little shopping!"
"Don't worry! We'll get you up!" yelled Balto. They grabbed the rope and pulled but it was no good. Then they heard a loud crack.
Nikki saw the glass under them cracking. "The glass is breaking!"
The team stopped. The looked at each other.
Nikki sighed. "It's not gonna hold." He starts to bite the rope in front of him. The rope breaks. He goes for the rope behind him.
Star saw him. "No Nikki don't!"
Kaltag, Balto and Aleu noticed Nikki. "Don't do it Nikki!" they yelled to him, but it was too late. Nikki had bite the other rope and it broke. Nikki fell down into the dephts of the mall.
"No!" Balto yelled. The crys as they lost their friend.
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 15
Kodi was sleeping next to the fireplace. The others were also sleeping except Dusty. She kept coughing. Her coughing woke Kodi up. He walked to her.
"Dusty?" Kodi asked.
"Ko..Kodi(cough)" Dusty struggled to say. Kodi sat next to her.
"What's wrong?" He asked her quietly.
"Nothing, just a little fever." Dusty said.
"Hey, Dusty I have something to tell you." Kodi said.
"What......is it?"
Kodi sighed. "Uh, remember when you asked me who my favorite dog was?" Dusty nodded. "Well................it was.......you." Kodi finally said what he had been holding in for a long time.
Dusty smiled. "Thanks for telling me."
"And there's something else." Kodi said.
"And what's that?" Dusty looked confused.
"Did you know why I trained so hard to be in the mail team?"
Dusty nodded. "Because you were detitcated to be in the team."
"That was only a small part of it."
"Then what's the other part of it?" Dusty asked.
"Dusty.........I..I ah joined the team...b..because of you." He told Dusty. "The first day I saw you I fell for you...and..and I was determined to join the team. I wanted to see you everyday and talk to you become friends...and I don't know, I sounding like Kirby in front of a big lead seld dog." Dusty smiled.
Kodi started to walk away when Dusty stopped him. He turn to her and she kissed him on the muzzle. Kodi was shocked by this. She closed her eyes and continued to kiss him. After another middle let go and nuzzled Kodi's neck. "Oh Kodi." She whispered. Kodi nuzzled her back. They smiled.
MEXICO, MAR 16
Jenna was sitting outside looking at the stars. Boris walks up to her. "Vhat's vrong?"
Jenna turns to Boris. "Do you think Balto will be okay?"
Boris nods. "I'm sure he vill be fine. You should be borrying about yourself."
Jenna shrugs. "I do hope he makes it to Kodi. Aleu's with him Balto too, I hope she'll be fine as well."
Boris sighs. "Balto vell make it, he vill."
Jenna sighed. She couldn't believe that her entire family was in the storm, looking for each other.
"Jenna!" Rosy called out to her. "Jenna, your gonna get a cold, come inside!"
Jenna turned to the tent. "I'm sorry Boris, but I can't stop worrying." She walked into the tent.
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 17
Dusty was sleeping and shivering. "I don't know what's wrong with her." Mr. Simpson said. "I mean last night she only had a fever."
"God she's awfully pale." Said a young woman.
"Maybe it's just the flu you guys." a man sitting on the couch said.
"No no, it's not the flu." The librian said standing at the doorway.
"And how do you know?" the man asked.
"Books can be good for things other than burning." the librian said. She walked over to Dusty. She felt her purse. It was really fast. The librian removed the blanket over Dusty and saw Dusty's cut. "Oh my god."
Mr. Simpson looked shocked. "How did that happen?"
Kodi went up to Dusty. "Dusty?" She was breathing heavily.
"That's blood poisoning." The librian said. "She can go into septic shock."
"What can we do?"
"She needs a massive dose of penicillin or a board sepctum quickly or........" The librian reads the rest and gasps.
Mr. Simpson turned to her. "Or what?"
The librian looked up at him.
LATER
Kodi ran to the other room he pushed open the door. Inside was Ralph and Kirby. Kodi grabbed a raft inside the room. The raft was from the emergency supply room. He tied a long rope onto the raft and tied the other end of the rope to his neck.
"What are you doing?" Kirby asked.
"There's gotta be medicine on that ship." Kodi said pointing out the window. "I have to save Dusty, or they'll cut her leg off."
"Or they'll what?" Ralph said looking shocked.
Kirby turned to Kodi. "Kodi are there more ropes?"
Kodi looks at him. "Why?"
"Cause I'm going with you" Kirby said.
"Me too." Ralph followed.
Kodi smiles.
OUTSIDE
They walked up to the ship in the bizzard snow. They went to the door and pushed it open. Inside was very dark. Kodi and the others run around the hallways until Kirby yelled. "I found it!'
Kodi and Ralph turned to Kirby. He was in front of a door with a red cross on it. They went to the door and opened it. They went inside. They looked through the cabinets.
"Hey hey guys I found it." Ralph said.
"What how do you know?" Kodi asked.
"Because it says penicillin on the bottom." Ralph exclaimed.
"Okay great. We have go now." Kodi said. He looked out the window. The snow was starting to clear. "Guys I think something's about to happen. We have to get back now."
He put the pencillin into the raft and they started to run out of the ship.
SOMEWHERE NEAR NEW YORK, MAR 17
Balto and his team were running through the snow when it started to clear. They stopped and looked around.
"Is it over?" Star asked.
Balto shook his head. "I don't think so." He saw a thick cloud circle around them. Then Balto knew that they were in the eye of the storm. Balto knew that the temperature was getting colder. "Oh crap." he whispered. He looked up at a american flag. The flap lowered. The wind had stopped. He turned to the team. "Come on! We need to find shelter now!"
They ran to a Wendy's frozen under ice only the roof was seen.
Back at Manhattan Kodi, Kirby and Ralph were pulling the raft. Kodi looked up and they stopped. They all looked up at the Empire State Building. The antenna was starting to freeze. Ice ran down the antenna of the building.
Kodi looks shock. "Oh shit." he whispered. He turned to Kirby and Ralph. "Come on! Lets go! Move guys." They ran towards the libary.
The ice ran down the antenna to the building. The building began to freeze. The windows burst open as the entire city starts to freeze.
Meanwhile Balto and the team pushed the vent cover off and pushed the sled down through the weak steel bars. Then one by one they started to jump in.
Kodi, Kirby and Ralph made it into the libary as the ground began to froze.
"We have to take the medicine to Dusty!" Kodi yelled.
Balto was the last one he was about to jump when he saw the flag freeze. He looked shock and jumped in.
Kodi ran down the halls as the inside of the building began to freeze. He pushed a set of doors open and walked into the room with the fireplace. He shuted the door after Kirby and Ralph ran in with the penicillin.
He started to throw books into the fire.
"What's happening?" the librian asked.
Kodi turned and saw the ice freezing the door.
Balto shut the door into the kitchen and started the oven. The team saw the steel door freeze to ice.
The room in the libray was freezing to ice. "Don't let the fire go out!" Mr. Simpson yelled.
SOMEWHERRE NEAR NEW YORK, MAR 18
Balto looked around he saw that him and his team survived the big freeze. "Come on we should get going."
"Balto, shouldn't we wait one more day?" Star asked.
"Kodi may not have one more day." Balto said.
LATER
As Balto and his team ran across the bizzard snow they saw a large frozen sign. Balto hitted the ice with his paw. The broken ice fell and he saw lcome to Staten Is, the rest was covered by the ice.
Balto looked ahead. He turned to the team. "We need to find shelter for the night!" he yelled. The others nod in agreement.
They found a yellow tent and went inside.
MEXICO, MAR 19
Jenna was lying on the floor inside the tent with Rosy when Rosy's father came in. "It's over!" He said wih joy. "The storms over!"
Jenna looked up. Rosy's mother looked the her husband. "Is that true?" Rosy's father nodded and they hugged each other.
Jenna gave a little smile in the first time for a long time. She walked outside the tent and saw the sun in the sky. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "Balto." She whispered.
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 19
Balto woke up and saw that it was sunny outside. He got out of the tent. He looked shocked. Aleu walked out. "What is it papa?" she asked and saw what he saw. She gasped.
In front of them was the upper half of the frozen Statue of Liberity.
LATER
Balto and the team walked along the frozen river in the sunny day. They knew the storm was over.
They stopped and exchanged looks then they continued walking. In front of them was Manhattan frozen. The entire city was ice.
They walked through the frozen streets of the city. Balto stopped once he saw the frozen libary. The team looked at the libary and walked in.
Inside the libary they walk along the empty frozen hallways. "Kodi!?" Balto yelled. He looked around and then found a scent familiar to him. Kodi.
He followed the scent to a set of closed doors. He opened the doors and saw the people and dogs inside. They were all sleeping. Kodi was sleeping next to Dusty.
Dusty woke up. She saw Balto in a blurly vision since she was tired. Kodi woke up after her. "Who is that?" Dusty asked.
"My father." Kodi said happily. He got up and run to his father and hugged him. "You came."
"Of course I did." Balto said.
He turned and saw Aleu, Kaltag and Star. "You guys came too?"
They nodded. "Of course we did." Aleu said and he went to hug her. Mr. Simpson woke and saw Balto. He looked shocked.
"Balto?" he asked and Balto nodded. Balto grabbed something from the sled and gave it to Mr. Simpson. It was a telegraph to contact Mexico. "Balto, thank you." Mr. Simpson said.
MEXICO, MAR 19
A man walked into Rosy's family tent. "Guess what happened!?" the man said excitedly.
"What?" Rosy's father asked.
"Balto went to New York and saved a couple of people there!"
"Really?" Rosy's father said. "Wow."
"The president sent helicopters there now! It's on the news!" the man ran out to another tent. Rosy's father turned on the small television in the tent.
Jenna had just walked in. She saw the president speaking. "Just a few hours ago I recieved message that a group of people and dogs survived in New York City, I have ordered an imitiate search and rescure mission for them." the president said.
Jenna smiled so brightly she couldn't stop.
NEW YORK CITY, MAR 19
Helicopters fly around the city. One helicopter spots The group and lands in front of them. A military personnel walks out. "Come on let's take you home!" He said. The group smiled and got in the helicopter.
The helicopter flew above the city. Kodi was sitting next to the window and Dusty was sitting next to Kodi. She looked out the window and gasped. Kodi turned to the window with Kirby and Ralph.
Outside helicopters were landing on the roofs of the building groups of people were outside on the roofs. There were many survivors.
Balto smiled and Kodi smiled back. Dusty sighed and rest her head on Kodi and nuzzled him. Balto grinned and winked at him. Kodi saw him and rolled his eyes. He nuzzled Dusty back. They nuzzled each other while Balto and all the other days shaked their hands and smile.
The helicopter flew across the sky above the Statue of Liberty.
Meanwhile in a space station a astronaut looked outside the window looking at Earth. "Look at that." he said. Another astronaut turn the one looking out the window.
"What?" he asked. He moved to the window.
"Have you ever seen the air so clear?" The astronaut looking out the window asked.
The northern hemisphere of Earth was white but there were hardly any clouds. But Earth was just the same old self and life will go on happily.
