Aniu, the white wolf, cleared her throat. "Balto, Steele, you two will now choose tribes. Balto, go ahead."

   "Jen." Jenna walked ot Balto, happily.

 "Dingo," Steele said, grinning. Dingo, unhappily, made his way to Steele.

  Balto scowled. "Aleu." His daughter walked to him.

   "Kodi," Steele announced.

  Kodi scowled and walked to Steele but whispered to Balto, "Take Dusty so that she can be with nice dogs other than me and Dingo."

  Balto nodded. "Dusty." the young female walked to Balto's tribe.

  "Kaltag," Steele said. Kaltag padded to Steele.

  "Saba," Balto called. Saba made her way to Balto.

  "Nikki," Steele ordered. Nikki walked to Steele.

  "Howler," Balto said.Balto's son walked to join his family and friends in the group.

  "Niju." Niju walked to Steele.

  "Max," Balto said. Balto's other son joined them.

  "Kirby," Steele said. Kirby joined Steele.

  "Nava," Balto said.

  "Ralph," Steele decided. Ralph joined Steele's group.

  "We now have our tribes," aniu said. "Balto's group is called Balak. they will wear green and blue. Steele's team is Sumik, they will wear red and yellow. welccome to Survivor Hawaii. It has begun. Make your way to camp. Balak go left, Sumik go right to find your flags. Good luck."

  The dogs departed. Balto cast a glance at Kodi and Dingo, who nodded. He led his group into the forest. They ran for what seemed like hours.

  "Pappa, Nava can't do more!" Aleu howled.

  "She's right," Nava sighed. "I can't do this."

  Balto looked up at the sky. "Fine. We'll rest then walk."

  "No need," interupted Dusty. "Look." she pointed up ahead with her tail. A greena dn blue flag was ahead. Cheering they ran to the flag but Dusty stayed with Aleu and Nava, who were walking more slowly.

    Steele went behind Ralph and nipped his tail. "Move!" Ralph yipped and ran.

  "The flag is ahead!" Niju said. Steele grinned. No way was Balto's team already there.

   the next day, Balto walked to a small bag on a tree. He took out a piece of paper and brought it to camp.

  "It says, 'You'll get your paws wet. Don't fear water, don't fear slipping.'. We have to win immunity."

  "Win! win! Win!" Steele yelled. "It's all that matters!"

  "It's not!" Dingo howled. "Your an idiot!"

   "That you are, Steele!" Kodi hollared.

     "You will be gone very soon," Steele said. "If we lose one challenge..." He drew a paw over his throat.
