This takes place a few days after my story Balto: Those You Thought You Could Trust. Jenna avoids Dixie and Sylvie for the next few days, until Balto decides to get involved and bring the friends together.
Saying Sorry
Jenna walked down mainstreet on her way to see Balto. But, Jenna was not her usual perky, cheerful self. She was still in pain after what her so called best friends Dixie and Sylvie tried to do to her. And she has not spoken to them in a weeks. They had tried to deliberately hurt her and her mate and it pained her to know that her friends were not happy for her.
"If I ever see those two.....those two witches ever again I swear i'm gonna.....! Jenna thought with so much hate. She couldn't even finish her sentence she was so angry.
"Is everything okay Jenna?" A voice asked interupting her thoughts. It was Angel the white Siberian husky that exposed Dixie and Sylvie's plan to try and split Balto and Jenna. "I saw you from across the street and said hi, didn't you hear me?" Angel asked.
"I'm sorry Angel, i've just been a little distracted lately", Jenna replied.
"Dixie and Sylvie again, huh"?
"Yes, I just can't believe that those to would do this to me. I thought we were best friends no matter what, but I guess I was a fool to believe that those two drama queens were my friends." Jenna spat.
"Maybe if you talk to them Jenna and try to.......", Angel tried to imply, but Jenna cut her right off.
"No way! Why should I go to them and beg them for forgiveness. If anything they're the ones who should be sorry not me!" Jenna shouted. "I have to go Angel", she ran fast afraid she was going to start crying.
Although Dixie and Sylvie alomost ruined her relationship with Balto she still considered them her very best friends.
"But, how could I look past that"? She thought.

Jenna walked up the plank of Balto's boat into the galley to see Balto standing in the middle of the room.
"Hey Jen, how have been these past few days", Balto asked.
"I've been better considering what happened a few days ago", Jenna replied glumly.
It's obvious she doesn't want to talk about Dixie and Sylvie anymore.
"So what's up Balto?" Jenna asked trying to change the subject,"Boris came to my house and told me you wanted to see me right away, is something wrong"?
"Well Jenna, I have two people that have something they would like to say to you", Balto gestured his paw to the opposite side of the boat"Dixie, Sylvie come on out".
Dixie and Sylvie came out and Jenna looked as if she was going to explode with rage.
"WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE"?
"Jenna please, Dixie and Sylvie have something they would like to say", Balto trying to calm his mate, " i'm sure if you just here them out....".
"NO WAY! WHY SHOULD I FORGIVE THEM BALTO! YOU KNOW WHAT THEY TRIED TO DO TO US! OUR RELATIONSHIP"! Jenna shouted so loud almost all of Nome could hear her.
"Yes, Jenna I know what they did and it was wrong and very hurtful and i'm pretty sure they regret it. Right"?
"Absolutely! Jenna we're terribely sorry, we feel horrible about this whole mess", Dixie pleaded.
"Yeah, I guess we got so jealous that you were spending all your time with Balto instead of us", Sylvie said.
"If you guys wanted to hang out just tell me, don't go and try to ruin my relationship with Balto", Jenna said still a hint of anger in her voice,"you expect me to just forgive you like this never happened, like what you did doesn't matter! How could you guys do this to me? You were my best friends in the world! Why"? Tears started brimming in Jenna's eyes.
Dixie and Sylvie began to shed tears as well.
"JENNA WE"RE SO SORRY! PLEASE DON'T HATE US WE WOULD BE LOST WITHOUT YOU! PLEASE FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO FORGIVE US! PLEASE"! They sobbed for their friend's forgiveness.
"NO"! Jenna huffed and turned her back.
"Okay obviously this isn't working so lets try something different", Balto said, "I want you three to tell your feeling on this, Jenna you go first".
"Oh Balto, I don't want....", Jenna tried to protest but, Balto pushed her into it.
"Come on Jenna, I hate seeing you this way. For the past few days you've been moping around and that's not you. What happen to the carefree, free spirited, and energetic husky I fell in love with"?
"She dissapeared when some friends of her's stabbed her in the back"! Jenna shouted her voice was hoarse and her eyes were filled with pain and betrayal.
"Jenna, just give them a chance", Balto pleaded.
Okay fine, i'll give them a chance," Jenna finally gave in," i'll start, Dixie and Sylvie words cannot describe how much you guys hurt me". Sorrow began to overtake Jenna's hate. She began to shed tears. " I mean you guys should have been happy for me and Balto".
"You're right we should have been more supportive of you and the half.... I mean, Balto", Sylvie said trying to sound sincere (and failing tremendously).
"Is that all you've got to say for yourselves! That was truly the most pathetic apology i've ever heard"! Jenna shouted.
"Let me try Sylvie", Dixie whispered to Sylvie, "Jenna"?
"Oh great, I can't wait to hear this one", Jenna chuckled.
"Jenna, I know me and Sylvie can be cold, careless, annoying, cruel....".
"Okay Dixie, I think she gets it", Sylvie hissed at Dixie.
"But, we have always been good friends right"?
"Well I guess so. But why'd you guys do it"?
"I guess we got tired of you pushing us aside all the time for Balto that we got a bit jealous", Sylvie admitted.
"Is that why you guys did all this? Just because I wasn't spending all my time with you? Guys if you wanted to hang out just tell me".
"Jenna we tried, but you always run off with Balto you've done it five times", Dixie huffed.
"I have not", Jenna said astonished, "name one time".
"A few days ago after the sled team came back from a delivery", Sylvie pointed out.
"W..well...that was differrent", Jenna stuttered.
"And how about all those other times"? Dixie continued.
"You guys expect me to forgive you guys after what you did? And now you try to play the victim in all of this? GROW UP"! Jenna had finally had enough. "That's it i'm done I have had with these two! As of this moment we're no longer best friends"! Jenna shouted and ran off the boat and back to Nome.
Balto turned to Dixie and Sylvie and glared at them before running after Jenna.
"Jenna? Jenna wait"!
"Come on we have to go after her"! Dixie exclaimed taking off after Balto. Dixie and Sylvie struggling to keep up.

Jenna ran threw the streets of Nome so fast that she accidentally wondered into the outskirts. The outskirts were the most terrifying place for a dog.
Jenna finally came to a stop and looked at her surroundings. She realized she had wondered a little to far from Nome and was about to turn back when a voice reached her ears.
"Well helloo, Jenna".
That voice made Jenna's blood run cold. She turned and she was face to face with none other than Steele himself.
"S..St...Steele? What are you doing here"? Jenna asked afraid of what Steele might do.
"I live here now Jenna, because your halfbreed mate put me and my owner in the poorhouse after he took my rightful place as lead dog...", Steele trailed. "But, enough about me, how about you Jenna"?
Jenna was shaking in fear. Steele absolutely scared her to death. She had to find a way to escape.
"I'm not supposed to be here, so i'll just be going..", Jenna said as she hastily tried to get away, but Steele jumped in her way.
"What's the rush Jenna? Stay and lets have some fun", Steele snickered.
He reached his paw over to touch her, but Jenna immediately stepped back.
Steele snickered at this. "Come on Jenna don't fight it, embrace it", he snarled, "Leave that filthy, pathetic, loser halfbreed".
That did it for Jenna. Her blood began to boil with rage.
"Nobody talks about my Balto like that"!
What Jenna did not only suprised Steele but herself as well. She smacked Steele hard on the side of his head. Steele put a paw up to the side Jenna hit him. He looked at Jenna shocked. Then his expression changed. His face was red with anger. Then he lifted his paw and smacked Jenna. The blow sent Jenna into a wall. Her vision blurred she could barely see Steele hovering over her with his paw raised to strike again.
"I'm going to make you regret that", he snarled.
He brought his paw down to connect with Jenna's face. Jenna curled into a ball, tears brimming in her eyes waiting for the inevitable pain. But nothing happened. Her vision started to clear and she saw a brownish figure struggling with Steele.
"BALTO"!
Balto did his best to hold Steele down, but Steele's strength was to much for Balto. Steele easily threw Balto off of him.
Steele snickered, "Your mine wolfdog, you can't beat me. And when i'm done with you i'll have Jenna all to myself".
Balto growled and lunged for Steele. Steele stepped out of the way and grabbed Balto by the scruff of his neck and threw him against the wall. Steele towered over Balto and spat.
"You tried to be the hero on to many times half-breed", Steele sunk his teeth into Balto's neck.
"NOOOOOO"! Jenna cried out. She got to her feet and ran at Steele.
Steele released Balto's neck and spun around smacking Jenna with the back of his paw. Jenna shook her head and looked up. Steele was about to jump on Jenna, when suddenly.......
"STAY AWAY FROM OUR FRIEND"!
It was Dixie and Sylvie coming to save Jenna.
Steele laughed so loud he felt his ribs were going to burst.
"Are you kidding me"? he snarled, "what are you two powderpuffs going to do, huh"?
"Not us", Dixie replied. "Them", Sylvie finished.
Out of nowhere the sled team dogs come out of nowhere and surround Steele. Steele know's he cant fight these odds so he retreats.
"THIS ISN'T OVER"!
Dixie and Sylvie run over to Jenna to make sure she isn't hurt.
"Jenna? Jenna are you okay"? They asked.
"Dixie, Sylvie you guys saved me. Thank you so much"!
Then Balto grogilly struggles to his feet and groans.
"Oh Balto! You're okay! Thank goodness"! She nuzzled Balto so hard that he almost lost his balanced. He smiled and nuzzled her back.
"Jenna i'm so glad you're okay! I'm sorry i wasn't there to help you though", Balto slunked his head a little dissapointed in himself.
"It's okay Balto, Dixie and Sylvie saved us".
"Well how about that", Balto chuckled.
"Well we're going to go now", Dixie said.
"Yeah, you probably want to be alone", Sylvie said.
"Guys? I just want to say thank you. I know I wasn't being fair to you guys, I really didn't deserve it. I'm so sorry".
"You shouldn't be sorry Jenna", Dixie said. "Yeah, it us who should be sorry. Can you ever forgive us"? Sylvie hoped.
Jenna thought a moment then turned to Balto. Balto smiled at Jenna and she smiled back.
"Okay, I forgive you guys", Jenna replied.
"OH THANK YOU JENNA"! They exclaimed locking Jenna tight in a lethal group hug that almost took all the breath out of Jenna.
"G..Guys, I...I can't... breathe", Jenna struggled with words.
"Sorry", they apologized and smiled sheepishly as they released her.
They hung out the rest of the day, just like best friends should do.
THE END!
This wasn't as good as the last story but leave me some comments on what you think of the story.
