Balto Forgets

It had been two years sense Balto saved Nomes children. He was liked by most everyone and he had now excepted his wolf heritage a all of his children and Jenna's had a near Nome (and yes that includes Alue after she and her pack crossed the ice bridge again). He was on a walk througth the forest that usually dose to get in touch with his wolf side. But today something was diffrent. He went deeper into woods, than he start to run and try find out how far from Nome he was. Than he slipped on something and hit his a head hard on a tree and a rock, than everthing went black.

When he woke up he was in a packs den and couldn't remeber anything, he even couldn't remeber who he was."Where am I?" Balto asked "Who am I?" he whispered then a figure came stood up "You are in the Deep Forest Wolves territory and we now your name is Balto." it was a wolf with black and brown fur "And my name is Mark." Balto gave Mark a confused look "Don't you remeber any of us?""Sorry but I don't even remeber who I am." Mark looked a little suprised at Balto "I am your brother Balto and you have been missing sence you were a pup. We all sought you were dead after we found your mother dead." Balto didn't know what say "Well sence I'm your brother, Mark, and I dont remeber who I am can I stay here untell I remeber?" Mark had very happy face on "yes""Just one question." Balto said "Well what is it?" Mark asked "What was I suposed to be in this pack?" Balto asked then Mark Smiled "Well, you were suposed be to the next alpha and now that your back you are." Mark replied

Meanwhile, back in Nome Balto had been gone for three days and everone, Jenna and the rest of his family espieculy, was getting worried. Jenna asked Alue if her pack could help find him, of course, she said yes. Five days went by with no luck. Then one of the wolves, which had seen Balto before, sayed he was attacked by a large pack, but the one thing that was the most serprising and shocking was that he said the pack seemed to be lead by Balto.

Later they were wondering what to do. "Mom what do you think we should do?" Alue asked "I was going to asked the you samething." Jenna replied "I have an idea." Jenna said "Mom, you said Kodi gets off tommerro, Right?" Alue asked "Right." Jenna answered "When he gets back tommerro we'll feel him in on what we know and then go to were he said he saw papa and try and find whats going." Alue said "Sound like a plan to me."

The next day after Kodi got off and was told what had happened. Then Kodi, Alue, Jenna, And a few wolves left to were they last saw Balto. "So, what do you think dads doing with this pack?" Kodi asked "Thats what I wanna know. Alue and Jenna said. Then a ton of wolves surronded them and knocked out the other wolves. "What are you doing on our land?" one of the wolves said angrily "We are looking for a wolf-dog named Balto." Alue said.the wolves seem less agred at the sound of that name. "What do you want with him?" a wolf said "He is my mate." Jenna said "I'm his son." Kodi said "I'm his dauther." Alue said "And we can tell your the leader of that other pack." the wolves looked at each other and then some of the wolves started howling and then could hear someone coming. Then Alue could hear someone coming very quickly."Mom were about to have company." Then it smelled fimilar. Then a new wolf jumped in out of nowhere. "Who are you and why are you here." Jenna, Kodi, and Alue just starred at the wolf for a second. "I'm Jenna and these are my children Kodi and Alue. We are searching for my mate, Balto." The wolf just stared at them for a moment. "Would he happen to be a wolf-dog?" the wolf asked "yes." Jenna answered "Well, I think their most not be just one Balto then." The wolf stepped out of the shadows to reveal the filmular face that was Balto. "Balto!!!!!!!" the three shouted bursting into tears of happiness running to him. "Grrrrrrr" Balto went with a killing look in his eyes with all the wolves ready to attack. "Balto what happened and why are these wolves doing what you say." Jenna asked with a confused and sadden look on her face. "Well for one thing, even tho its none of your buisiness, I don't remeber anything that happened more than nine days ago and second when I woke up I was in a den where my brother, Mark, said I went missing when I was a pup and said I was to be the next alpha of the pack and that know that I returned I was now the alpha." Balto said. Kodi, Alue, and Jenna just stared a little surprised and confused "Well, now that I have answered your questions it your turn to answer mine." Balto said will the three noded saying they would answer his questions."Frist, you." Balto said pointing to Alue "I know your the leader of the of the pack on the other side of Nome. So why are you and your wolves doing here?" Balto asked "I'm was trying to help my mother and brother here find my father, Balto or should I say you?" Alue said "And how do I know your not lying?" Balto said angerly "Why would we ly about something like this?" Alue asked "Their just something I don't buy here. Do you have any proof your not lying? Balto asked starting to com down "Yes, every dog in Nome will tell what you did to help Nome." Jenna answered in a sadden voice "Men stand down." Balto ordered but the wolves were a little worried "Its ok. I think I can handle these three if they try anything stupid." Balto said with a reassuring look on his face and then the wolves started leaving "I'll meet you in Nome tommaro morning. Just look around and I'll find you and make sure your all in one place, ok?" Balto asked which was fallowed by the trio noding."Oh and don't worry about your friends there they'll wake shortly." And with that Balto left.

The next day Alue, Kodi, and Jenna woke up early still tring to get their mind around what had happened the other day nd about all Balto had sayed. The three gathered on the edge of Nome closest to Balto's Boat. And, as he said, Balto found them very quickly. "I'm gussesing theres a reason you gathered this close to the edge of Nome." Balto said "Yes. See that old wrecked boat back there?" Jenna asked ""What dose that has to do with me?" Balto asked "That used be your old home." Alue aswered "Can we show you it?" Kodi asked Balto sighed "Well might as well listen and get this over with." Balto said. When they got there Balto could hear something coming. Then he looked over to see the two polar bears Muk and Luk charging to him. The small one Muk yelled "Uncle Boris Baltos back!" Balto jumped out of the way quickly before Muk or Luk could get him. "Friends of yours?" Balto asked "And yours, Balto." Jenna answered. Then a old russian goose came out from behide a door that was Boris. "Where have been Balto! Some of us have been getting worried about you!" Boris said close to a shout "Uncle Boris, he dosen't who he is or any of us." Alue said "Vat did you say?" Boris Asked "Come here we'll explain." Jenna said a litte sad.

After they were done explaining to Boris, Muk, and Luk what Balto had told them. Boris, Muk, and Luk were very sad to know their friend didn't remeber who they were.

"So vat your telling me is that Balto lost all of his memories and became leader of a large wolf pack and your trying to get his memories back?" Boris asked "Yes." said Jenna, Kodi, and Alue at the same time. Then Luk started cring. "It'll be ok Luk their going to get Balto's memories back." Muk said in reassuring voice. They all nodded and walked out to talk to Balto. "Any chance you remeber anything?" Jenna asked "Not a bit." Balto repied "Come on lets go into town mabey something there will jog your memory." Kodi said. Then left for Nome.

After they got there they told a few dogs about what happened to Balto and they all told him about what he did for Nomes children, but he still didn't remeber anything. "Anything else you three want show me?" Balto asked Jenna could thank of one more thing. "Yes, I think I know someone that could help." Jenna said and lead him to her house than the little girl that was Rosy came running up them but instead getting the feeling to attack he felt a little happy to see the little girl but he didn't know why. "Hi Jenna, Kodi, and Alue. Rosy said then looked at Balto "Where have you been Balto?" she asked and hugged him and went inside. Balto had been trying to figure out where he knew her. "I'm going to take a guess and say that your owner." Balto said looking at Jenna "Do you remeber now?" Jenna asked "No. That really was a guess but, where do I know her?" Balto asked Jenna smiled "Yes thats my owner, Rosy, and she also one children you tried so desportly to save. Not to menchen we were the only ones kind you before you saved Nome." Jenna answered "Anything?" Jenna, Alue, and Kodi asked Balto just nodded no.

Balto was thinking about going back to the pack soon. "Look sense you went to all the trouble of showing me the town how would you like to come spend the night at the pack's dens?" Balto asked and they nodded yes. "Oh just one thing you have to sewer not to show any human, ok?" "yes" the all said. "I just need to tell the pack." Balto said and with that they left Nome and when they were far enough away Balto let out one of greatest howls any of them had ever heard. It was telling the pack about the guests they were going to have and when they got to the top of a hill they were stuned by the number of wolves. It was more triple the number of wolves Alue had for a pack. And they were even more surprised when remebered that Balto commanded all of them. Then Balto let out another howl to tell the pack he was back. "Its safe for you to go down there now." Balto said and saw a four wolves coming their way but, when they looked a little closer they notice they were not wolves, at least not entirely, they were wolf-dogs and relised that they most be his brothers and sisters. "Jenna, Alue, Kodi these are my brothers Takoo and Mark and these are my sisters Lilly and Sara." Balto said pointing to a white wolf with black on the ends of her ears, socks, and tail that was Sara, a brown and white one that was Mark, and the other two, Lilly and Takoo looked nearly identical to Balto. "And we already now who you three are." Mark said "And you now how exactly?" Kodi asked "Balto told us before he left this morning." Lilly answered "You may sleep in any of the dens you like. Just don't bother anyone." Balto said "And which one is yours?" Jenna asked Sera started to chuckle "Balto usually sleeps on one of the near by hills." Sera said still with chuckle under her voice.

Balto was laying on a hill watching the Aroar Boaralis when he heard someone coming. "What do you want?" Balto asked knowing who it was "I just wanted to talk." Jenna said "What do you want to talk about?" Balto asked "How could you forget everything we went throught?" Jenna said almost bursting into tears. "Well I most not have completely forgot." Balto said. Jenna had a bit of a surprised face. "When I saw you something told me not to attack you or the others. Just like it did when I saw Rosy. Something said not to be afraid of her." Balto said "Dose this mean you'll come back?" Jenna asked "Jenna, how can I go back to something I can't remeber?" Balto said sounding a bit sad "I guess this means your going to stay with the wolves." Jenna said holding back her tears. "I'll take you home in the morning." Balto said and realised Alue and Kodi were listening to them. "That go for you two to." Balto said looking over to where they hiding. "So your not coming back with us?" Kodi asked. Balto just nodded no.

The next morning they were walking to Nome which was now in sight. Every now and then one of them look Balto straight in the eye hoping he would remeber in the next few moment. Then they heared a howl that brought some bad news. "Alue tell them what they said, I'm going there now." Balto said and ran off quicker then lighting. "What was that all about?" Kodi asked "Mom I've got some bad news." Alue said "What is it?" Jenna asked "Rosy out there and a few roge wolves are tring to find her." Alue said sadly Jenna gasped "Come on lets go." Kodi said "Hold it we need to get some wolves these roges are very strong judging by the message." Alue said and with that they ran to Alue's pack.

Meanwhile Balto had caught Rosy's scent and was racing to her. When he was got there rosy was hiding behind a rock five wolves were coming closer to her. "Stay away from her!" Balto yelled still unseen in the shadows. But they ignored him and all five them cornered her and before any of them could do anything Balto jumped at the closes one to Rosy bit so hard on his throat that he died the second he hit the ground. Now the wolves were getting scared and got close to gather together hoping Balto wouldn't attack again but was unsucessful. Balto managed to strike at each of their throats befor they could do anything. Then Balto turned back to Rosy who was still at the rock and had seen the whole thing but didn't now it was Balto and was a little afraid. When Balto got closer Rosy realised it was Balto. "Balto." Rosy said weakly from being in the cold. And then Balto put Rosy on his back and ran as fast as he could to and it was getting dark because of some blizard clouds but, the blizzard was to fast. He managed to a cave just barely to far from Nome. "I wonder what you were doing out here?" Balto thought "Balto I came out here and looked for you but, those wolves chased me into the forest. Balto, why did you leave, whats wrong." Rosy said as if reading his mind "Did you lose your memory?" Rosy said because she had a feeling that that was what happened. And then he felt his memories coming back and let out a great howl of happiness that sounded as great as the one he howled when he brought back the medicine.

Meanwhile back near Nome, Alue a her wolves could go out because of the blizard. And Rosys parents were getting worried. And then they heard a fimilar howl and the blizard, as if on command, started to let up and Rosys parents, Alue, Kodi, and Jenna ran in the direction of the howl and waited a little. Then they saw Balto running to them with something or someone on his back. "Rosy!!!!" they all yelled now seeing it was Rosy on Balto's back and ran in their direction. "Thank you Balto. You really are a hero." Rosys father said happily and rushed to Rosys mothers that was carring Rosy to the hospital to make sure she was ok. "Do you have memories back?" Jenna asked "Yes." Balto replied saddly "Then why so sad Balto?" Jenna asked "Because now I have to choice my life here or my life with my brothers and sisters and the rest of the pack." Balto replied "Papa are you going back?" Alue asked "Yeah you just got back." Kodi said "I...I don't know yet." Balto replied "But we don't wanna lose you again." Jenna said "I know but I can't go back and froth all the time." Balto said "Can't you just move pack closer?" Alue asked "No it only spot where we are safe." Balto replied "Balto, I know this is going to sound selfish but, cant you just leave them?" Jenna asked "ARE YOU NUTS?!!! I JUST FOUND MY BROTHERS, SISTERS, AND THE PACK I WAS BORN IN!!!!" Balto shouted agirly "I'm sorry. I just want things to go back to the way they were." Jenna said sadly "I know but, just tell Muk, Luk, and Boris the news. I'm going back to the pack to thank it over." Balto said "We understand." Jenna said followed by a nod from Alue and Kodi.

The next day Balto had been thinking it over and couldn't decide Lilly, Mark, Takoo, or Sera didn't now what to do eather. "Balto if want to go back you can and visit anytime you want." Lilly said "I think I have an idea." Balto said "What?" Takoo asked "I'll asked Aniu for help." Balto said "You've seen her spirit?" Mark asked "Yes and I'll be back later.

Half an hour later started howling for some help. Then some snow started swirling and the white wolf Aniu apeared. "Hello my son. What do you need help with?" Aniu asked "Do you now whats happened to me these last week or so?" Balto asked Aniu nodded yes "I don't know what to chose the pack or Jenna and the others. I need help." Balto said "You most choose what you want." Aniu said "Is there away to choose both?" Balto asked "You could stay with the pack and visit your family, the other way around, your family can stay with pack, or you could move the pack closer to Nome. What ever you choose the pack needs a leader." Aniu said and disappered.

Balto went to Nome to talk to his family. When he got the three all in one place he explained the the opions. "Well do you two want live with the pack?" Balto asked Jenna and Kodi "Sorry no." Kodi said. Balto could tell Jenna didn't "Well I'll see if theres any place for the pack to live." Balto went to search but didn't find any good place.It was getting dark then he got an idea. He went back to the pack and asked Lilly, Sera, Takoo, and Mark to come with him. "Where are we going at this time of day?" Sera asked "Were going to Nome and I've got an idea. Balto answered and his brothers and sisters had confused faces

When they got there he lead them to Rosy's house. Balto scrachted the door and Rosys father opened the door and was afraid at first but then two of them looked almost completely like Balto. "I'm guessing you want me to convince everyone to let wolves into Nown." Rosys father said Balto barked happily and the next day Rosys father convinced the mayor to make hunting illeagle. And with that Balto told the pack they could come into Nome and surprisingly the people were happier about it then expected. "Well looks like everything worked out in the end. I found my sister and brother, the pack I was born in, and I got more entouch with my inner wolf. Balto said to his family "And we got you back." Jenna said
