Chapter one.

Balto yawned. His mouth opening real wide. He settled back down. It took a few more yawns to actually wake him up. Balto sat straight up and scratched his ear. Suddenly a large buff black furry shape was panicing on the deck of the boat.

"What the?" Said Balto standing up he was just about to walk out on to the deck when a furry mass pinned him down.

And you would not even guess who this furry mass was.

"Steele?" Balto said horsely, due to the wind being knocked out of him from the buff husky.

" Balto man you gotta help me!" barked Steele. When Balto caught his breath again he took a look at Steele. For once the giant black and white husky looked genuinly frightened. His icey blue eyes flitted all over the place.

"Dude are you ok, you look kind of paranoid.?" asked Balto.

"You would be too if a freak little 6 year old girl with cherry blond hair tried to eat you!!!" Yelped Steele. He began to pace.

"Eat you?" chuckle Balto. He couldent beleive what he was hearing. Steele mustve been hit by Steel because he had obviously gone bonkers.

" Yes eat me! The little demon child had freaking fangs for cryng out loud!" Shouted Steele. All of the sudden a metal bucket hit steele.

" Shut up, some of us are still trying to sleep.!" Said a russian tanged voice.

" I'll keep him quiet Boris."said Balto trying not to laugh.

" Come on heelp!" He yelped. Balto was at this point about to pee himself trying not to laugh.

"Ahem." Balto cleared his throat. With a giggley quiver to his voice he said." So uh Steele, You actually think that a sharp toothed child is after you?" Balto  couldent hold the laughter any longer."ahahahahaha" he let the longest hystarical laugh you've ever heard in your life.

When Balto calmed himself it was already dark again. Steele was acting like a frikin chicken. He was shivering and had his furry tail tucked between his legs." Balto!." shouted Steele. He seemed back to his origanall glory hound self. Or so it seemed.

"What?!" snapped Balto. He had,had enough of the husky. His archenemy on his boat for the whole day. It was damn time for him to leave." behind you." he whispered. It was pitch black in the boat. Red eyes peer out of the darkness behind balto. Suddenly a firm grip found itself on Balto's tail. Balto Swallowed hard. " Boris please tell me thats you grabbing my tail." he squeaked. A shiney white grin peered out of the darkness. The being was suddenly tackled by another being with silvery eyes.Balto and steele grabbed boris and ran out onto the beach where there was moonlight.

Two figures leapt off the boat and into the shadows infront of the two canines and goose. Slowley one of the figures walked out. it was a human male or thats what it seemed to be. Following close behind him was another being with a slight scowl on his face. The first gave a glare to his partner and opened his mouth to speak." Now Louis apologize!" said the first man who had magnificant semi curled blonde hair that came to his shoulders. The other man had shoulder length black brown hair and emrald green eyes." What for its a dog!" snapped Louis glareing at the blonde with his intimidateing green eyes.

" Because." said the blonde.

"Because why Lestat." Snapped Louis. The two of them were obviously not from anywhere in Alaska because of there french accent.

"Do you not know who the brown one is!?" Hounded Lestat at Louis. Louis shook his head and he was obvioussly pissed about Lestat ruining his meal.

" Thats the famous Dog Balto!" he yelled at his fledgling.

Steele looked at Balto completely shocked" um... Balto how do these two know you?" Asked steele Lestat looked at them." How could we not. Your news of saving this town reached New orleans not to long ago." Steeles mouth was so wide that it was touching the ground."y-you can understand us?" Asked balto who unlike steele was intrigued. " Well All Vampires have their own magnificent abilitys. Mine is Reading minds and Flying." Said Lestat. Louis Gave Lestat a" Really What the freak." look.

Louis scowled at the dogs revealing his fangs" Appearantly your mindreading works on dogs too." He droned

"Enough with the whineing Louis Goodness." Snapped Lestat.Steele Had Calmed down some although the fangs sorta scared him. but he got a likeing to the Blonde " Man these two bicker more than we do." Said Steele. Both Louis and Lestat immediatly looked at Steele then at eachother and then silence.

But A scream broke it. but as quick as the bloody murder scream started it ended.Louis peered over Lestats shoulder." Claudia?" He whisperd

Lestat cringed at the name." What did I say of speaking her name Louis!?"

" Never to say it in your presence." Answered Louis confidently.

" Then why'd you say it?"

" I didnt I whispered it." Smirked Louis Knowing that that was the one thing Lestat couldent stand.

(spoiler alert)

"Do you not remember what that Demon child did to me!?" Screeched Lestat. His face turning red from anger.

" No Actually I do remember what she did to you. She tricked you into eating blood from a dead body."

"She gave them Laudunum" Complained Lestat.

" Then she sliced open your throat bled you threw you in a swamp and you came back to life and tried to kill us!" Snapped Louis.

" And you my pyromaniac friend whose soulution to everything is fire! you lit me on fire burning down the whole town." said lestat.

(end of spoilers)

Balto and steele cracked up soon catching a glare from the two 18th century vampires
