I am still working on my other series but I thought this would be fun to do as well.

This is based on the Lion, the witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis.

 The character changes are:

   Saba- represents Lucy

   Kodi- represents Edmund

  Aleu- represents Susan

  Dingo- represents Peter

The other characters are pretty much teh same as in the books except the White Witch is a snow leopard.

I think that's about all I need to introduce so if you have questions yuo can ask in your reviews.

  And here is part one!

-------------------------------------------------------

Saba looked at her sister. "Aleu?" she whispered.

Aleu looked up. "What?" she yawned.

"Why did we have to leave home?"

Aleu looked at her sister for a minute. "Because bad things are happening," she replied.

   "What bad things?" pressed Saba.

"You wouldn't understand!" snapped Kodi from near by.

"Why not?" Saba shot back. "I'm almost as old as you!"

  "Not quite."

"Stop it!" Dingo was on his paws. "Kodi, do you have to torment her all the time?"

"What do you think you do to me?!" Kodi snapped.

 "Well at least I-"

"Shut up!" Aleu yelled. "Will someone explain to Saba what's going on? She doesn't understand!"

Dingo sighed. "Saba, come here." Once his sister was next to him, he said softly, "Look, these are confusing times."

  "But what happened?"

 "You know what happened."

Saba shrugged. "the basic idea. I guess what I'm asking is why."

Aleu rolled her eyes and muttered, "Told ya she didn't understand."

Dingo sighed at Aleu and said, "Okay then. Look, there are... good dogs and wolves  and... bad dogs and wolves. Right now, Dad's in trouble with a bad pack and Mom sent us here."

"Brings up a good question," said Kodi. "Where are we?"

Dingo looked up to see the sled had stopped.  He leapt off and looked around for a few minutes. "I don't know this place," he announced finally.

"I know." A female husky walked towards tehm. "Follow me. I'm taking you to Anchorage."

"Achorage?" Dingo asked. "Where are we staying there?"

"With Cheif, he's the head dog in Achorage." The husky kept her eyes ahead and teh pups knew she wasn't looking happy about having to escort them.

Finally, the dogs reached Achorage. The first thing Saba saw was a chain of puppies racing after each other, barking happily. She smiled as they raced by.

"Oh, how lovely," she said. "They're all so adorable."

"you aren't much older than they are," snapped Kodi.

"Stop it," Dingo growled. "Stop it right now, Kodi."

"Okay, okay," he responded, rolling his eyes. "I was just telling the truth."

"You never tell the truth," Dingo snapped.

"Won't you ever get off my back?" Kodi asked, agitated.

  "No."

  "Why not?"

"You won't let me," Dingo said. "Grow up and I'll 'get off of your back'." Kodi opened his mouth to say soemthing more but Aleu silenced him wiht a hard look.

Cheif's home didn't look like much form the outside. It was a shack with broken doors and shards of broken glass were covering hte snow around its borken windows.

"go on inside," said the husky. "He'll be in his room but feel free to wander around if you don't make too much noise." Slowly, the pups went inside, with Dingo at the lead. In awe, the pups gazed around them. The 'shack' was much bigger than it appeared. It had large rooms and even a second story! They spread out to explore.

That night, Saba lay beside Aleu, who was sleeping. Saba was curious so she stood up. Carefuly, she padded through the house. She paused by the boys' room and nosed the door open to see both of her brothers asleep. She remembered their first meeting with Cheif. Dinner. He had said something about a place where no one goes... He said it was at the edge of town and that it was just a ruin of a castle but Saba wanted to know more.

Saba crouched low so that her stomach was rubbing on the snow. She didn't want to be seen just in case the ruins were forbidden. She crept onward. The fence was in view. She got right up to it and padded through, standing up fully now that she had arrived.

However, she had not seen the sign that said 'Do Not Enter'.

Oncce Saba's head was throughteh gate, she saw something extremly odd. There were trees and snow everywhere. Confused, they young dog continued to walk through the snow. She reached the edge of the group of trees and saw a lampost. Curious, she got closer and heard somethign in the bushes and jumped, turnign around.

She saw a strange looking creature and gasped. "Who are you?" she asked. the creature stepped into the light.

"I am Mr. Tumnus, a faun. But who are you?" replied the strange creature.

Saba looked at him. "I'm saba."

"But you are a hybrid?" he asked.

  Saba cocked her head. "Huh?"

"A hybrid." The faun blinked. "Do you not know?"

"Know what?" Saba felt extremly confused and frustrated.

The faun smiled. "We do not usually have hybrids. Will you come and have tea with me?"

"tea?" Saba asked. "Oh, well I should get back."

"Just one cup and some cakes," said the faun.

"Oh, all right." Saba followed him to his home.

Part two will be up soon. Please review, I'd like to know what you thought.
