It is the night of the serum run and Balto has returned home and is now loved by all and everyone is out celebrating except for one dog... Steele. Steele had been left alone in the boiler room that night after being exposed as a liar and a bully.

  "How could this have happened to me what did I do?" Steele thought. It also seemed that whenever he would think about it he only came to one conclusion, it was his own fault. He finally understood he wasn't always correct and he needed to apologize for his actions. "I think I should go find Balto and apologize and try to make things right."

  Steele walked out of the boiler room and began the short trip to Jenna's house. On the way the dogs would give him hateful glares and kick snow at him. When he finally reached Jenna's house he herd Balto and Jenna inside laughing and plainly having a good time together.

  "I'm glade that Jenna is happy with Balto, she deserves someone nice and caring." Steele thought. Steele then knocked on the door with his paw and waited for an answer and slowly the door opened and Balto stepped outside into the cold night to be face to face with Steele.

  "Steele? what are you doing here?" Balto asked curiously. Balto was quite surprised to see that Steele was not looking at him hatefully but instead, looked at him as if he wanted to cry.

  "Balto, I am so sorry about everything that happened between us and i would like to make things right between us."

  Balto looked at Steele who was now crying a little bit.

  "Please?" Steele asked through his tears.

  "Steele, all is forgiven." Balto said who was now smiling at Steele.

  "Thank you Balto." Steele said as he calmed down and stopped crying. "There is something else i would like to ask you."

  "Please, ask" Balto said who was quite happy of the current situation.

  "I would like to know if you maybe..you wanted to be..friends?" Steele asked curiously.

  "Of course Steele." Balto said happily

  "Thank you." Steele said. Just then Steele wrapped his front paws around Balto and gave him a hug. "Thank you so much Balto."

  Just then Jenna walked outside to see what was going on.

  "What's going on out here Balto?" Jenna asked. Just then Jenna saw something she never thought she would see, Balto an Steele hugging while Steele wept onto Balto's shoulder.

  "Steele?,Balto? what's going on? Jenna asked a little confused.

 "Jenna, Steele here has just apologized for everything he's ever done." Balto said happily.

 "Oh Really? he has?" Jenna asked curiously.

  "Yes Jenna I did and i should say sorry to you to." Steele said looking at Jenna.

  Thank you Steele, I know that takes a lot for you to do." Jenna said giving Steele a hug.

  "Thank you Jenna, i know it takes a lot to forgive me." Steele said.

  "Would you like to come hang out with us Steele?" Balto asked.

  "Sure Balto thank you" Steele said happily.

    Steele followed Balto and Jenna into the house and they spent the night hanging out and getting to know each other better. Steele told them why he changed and how sorry he was for the way he acted to them in the past. After their conversation they all became good friends and lived happily ever after.

  The next day steele went over to Balto's boat to see what he was up to. he found Balto asleep on the floor of the boat and he walked over to him and nudged him awake.

  "morning sleepy head." Steele said 

  Balto groaned and opened his eyes.

  "Steele? what are you doing here so early in the morning?" Balto asked

  "Well i thought maybe you would like to hang out today, you know like maybe go to the boiler room or something." Steele said curiously

  "Sure if you want, where do you want to go?" Balto asked.

  "Well if you want to i'll treat us to breakfast at my place my master is making sausages and i'm sure he wouldn't mind if you came over." Steele asked

  Balto was able to catch on to what Steele ment by all this, he knew that he still felt bad about what he did and wanted to make up for it. He decided to let Steele make the offer any way because he didn't want to make Steele feel bad.

  "Sure thing Steele I would like that." Balto said smiling.

  "Glad to here it Balto." Steele said returning the smile.

  Balto and Steele walked to Steele's house and went inside. Steele's owner had just finished cooking and he soon noticed the two dogs in his living room.

  "Well if it isn't Balto! welcome to our home would like something to eat?" Steele's owner asked

  Balto barked happily in resonse and sat next to Steele. Steele's owner brought out two bowls with sausage for bolth of them and placed them in front of the two dogs.

  "Here you go boys, eat up.' Steele's owner said leaving the room.

  "Gee Steele this is nice of you, I never thought I would be here." Balto said

  "Well if you want you can stay for longer." Steele said winking at Balto.

  Balto understood what Steele ment by this, he wanted him to live with him at his house.

  "Steele do you mean? what i think you mean?" Balto said.

  Steele nodded his head and took a bite of sausage.

  "Yes, If you would like to stay here you can, my owner won't mind." Steele said.Balto pondered this statement for a moment, was this the same Steele who hated him his whole life and is now offering him a new place to live? "C'mon it's the least I can do after the way i treated you our whole lives."

  "Steele, I don't know what to say this is so sudden." Balto said 

  "Please." Steele said smiling.

  "Alright Steele, I'll stay if you want me to." Balto said returning the smile.

   "It would mean a lot to me if you would stay here." Steele said.

  "Then i will." Balto said.

  Balto went down to Jenna's house to tell her about what Steele had just told him.

  "Wow! that's very sudden!." Jenna said a bit amazed.

  "I know but it was a really nice offer and i decided to take him up on it." Balto told her.

  "Well i think it's great that he did that do you mind if i come along to see him?" Jenna asked curiously.

  "sure Jenna, you can come." Balto said.

  The two dogs walked over to Steele's house or should i say Steele and Balto's house.

  "Hey guys!" Steele said happily.

  "Hi Steele, that was really nice of you to offer Balto a place to live." Jenna said.

  "Well you know i thought it was the right thing to do after all he's done for Nome." Steele told her.

  "Well Steele, i always knew you would eventually turn around but i never thought you be offering Balto a place to live." Jenna said happily.

  "Thank you Jenna it feels nice to have friends that don't fear you but instead love you." Steele said

  "I know how you feel Steele, but lets put all that in the past shall we?" Balto said.

 "Sure!" Steele said happily.
