"Goodbye papa. Tell mom...*pause* I finally found my home." Aleu said to Balto before leaving to go with the wolves to cross the ice bridge. Aleu swam across the water and she got on top of the iceberg and howled goodbye to Balto. All the wolves, and even Muru joined her and they sailed away.
"Time to cross this." Aleu thought to herself.
Aleu and the clan jumped from one iceberg to another and finally, they reached the land. "Wow." Aleu said. Even though she saw some of the land in her dream with the caribou crossing the ice bridge, it was more amazing to actually be there.
The brown and white wolf named Sitka, noticed Aleu staring and decided he should say something. "Excuse me but shouldn't we look for the caribou new leader?"
"Right sorry. Give me a while to get used to this because as you can see, I 'm new at this." said Aleu.
"Now that you mention it we should--" Aleu was cut of because she heard a loud bang coming from the ice bridge.
She and the clan ran over and found the ice bridge slowly separating and breaking apart. "We'll be here for a while." Aleu thought to herself.
"I was going to say now that you mention it, we should look for the caribou. But we cannot now because light is fading fast and soon it will be dark. We should find some shelter instead." said Aleu.
"She is right." said Sitka.
After some searching Aleu and the clan found a cave. "At least it will be dark and cool inside." Aleu said to herself, remembering this was similiar to the cave she stayed in for the night when she ran away from Balto. "But I better not follow any singing." she thought, amused in this.

The next morning Aleu woke up very early. In fact, she was the only one awake because the rest of the clan was still sleeping. She decided that maybe she should look for the caribou first and then quietly slip back into the cave before the clan woke up. She slowly got up, strecthed, and quietly crept out of the cave. She found looked around and spotted the caribou not far from where the clan was sleepning. As she watched them, the sun began to slowly rise and she ran back into the cave and pretended to wake up since the clan just started to wake up, not noticing she was gone before.
"Alright everyone. Today is the day we will hunt for the caribou." anounced Aleu. She lead the clan out of the cave and went to the spot where the caribou where earlier only to find that they had moved to her morning search would not help them at all.
They looked around and after searching almost everywhere they could think of, they finally found the caribou. But they where not the only ones who wanted to get some caribou. The caribou herd started running and they saw a lone wolf chasing them. The wolf was light brown and had markings similiar to Balots' minus the eye patches which Aleu noticed right away.
"What do we do Aleu?" asked Sitka.
"Just wait, this wolf may or may not belong to a pack, and if he or she does, that could be trouble." said Aleu.
But, the wolf saw them watching the caribou and charged at Aleu and the clan.
"Stop!" Aleu yelled out.
The wolf stopped only a few feet before the clan and stared at Aleu. Aleu noticed that the wolf was female and she appeared to be alone at the moment.
"And I'm going to listen to you because...?" said the wolf.
"Look, my clan and I came here to get some caribou. We don't mean any harm, we just---" said Aleu but thne was cut off by the wolf.
"You? Harm me? Ha! thats ridiculous." said the wolf.
"Well, do you belong to a pack?" asked Aleu.
"Nope. I don't need a pack. I can take care of myself." said Kiska.
"Hey, if you're going ot be like this at least let me know your name." said Aleu.
"Well, if you must know, my name is Kiska but its a far better name than your name, Aleu." said Kiska.
"How do you know my name?" asked Aleu.
"Well, the raven told the fox about you, and the fox told me about you, Aleu daughter of Balto and Jenna." said Kiska.
"Nevermind then. But my pack and I came here to get some caribou, and thats jus twhat we're going to do." said Aleu. This wolf was getting annoynig and she didn't go on this journey and leave Balto for nothing. She wanted to get some caribou and thats exactly what she'll do.
"Not if I can stop you!" said Kiska.
Kiska growled and jumped in front of Aleu and the clan, blocking them from getting to the caribou. These stranger would not get in her way and she would stop them herself.
Aleu started to growl and Sitka and some of the wolves in the clan began to join her. "No." said Aleu. "I will deal with her myself."
Suddnely Kiska jumped in the air and came straight at Aleu and snarled.
"Aleu!" yelled Sitka.
