It was a rainy day in the forests surrounding Nome, this was abnormal weather for a Alaskan town, it hadn't rained in Decades... I Was taking the advantage of the rainy weather to mask myself from the Deer that i was hunting...I Was terrible at hunting, but i had to get a meal...I Didn't want to settle for finding Scraps from Kills or Eughhh...Berries
I Stalked it in the bush, i layed my Chest on the ground preparing to pounce...
*is enjoying the rain and walks hurrily runs from tree to tree, trying to avoid the rain from drenching her coat and making it harder to run. The small energy she had left was for hunting and she couldn't take the chance to sleep with the scent of prey so strong and near so she followed the scent, staying low and silent looking for the prey*
"3...2...1..."And i leapt at the deer targeting it's Neck, my Canines Dug into the Deers neck, it Retaliated by Growling in pain and trying to shake me. Although my inexperience wanted me to let go since the Shaking was becoming unbearable. I Sunk my Teeth in More. The deer began to weaken...It weakly shook me off, and fell to the floor Exhausted. I approached it and Assured it was dead and began to Eat.
*after a few more mintues of trotting towards the prey she finds the pack of deer and stalks towards to them, but the scent of blood overfeeling her lungs and thought it was a dead deer, already left alone and followed that scenet, seeing the freshly killed deer and wonders 'it's weird to think someone would leave this deer alone when its fresh' and slowly stalks to the deer, trying to smell better, but not seeing or smelling anything other than deer and blood*
I Began to stop eating, although my nose was filled with the scent of blood, i smelt something odd...Like another wolf perhaps. My ears overheard small Splashes from Paws hitting Puddles. I Began to get into a defensive stance. Although i knew if someone threatened me for the Deer i would cover and run away. But i needed to intimidate anyone that would try to steal my kill "Who's there"I Said trying to act Brave and look ferocious at the same time which failed and made me look Scared and worried instead of what i was planning.
*her ears flickered at the noise of the stranger and her ear flicked foward, fur stood up and sudden defense mode taking over her body from freight. "why does it matter?" she tried to say in an force voice, taking a step foward to the deer to try and get a better view of the blood covered wolf. She smelt the air, his sudden moments flickering his scent threw the air and smelling it was a male, and let out a low throat growl, ready to fight if needed*
"This is my kill"I Said trying to act tough although it wasn't exactly the most successful Tough Act i ever made, it more sounded like a Pup trying to act brave...My fur was standing up. My natural reaction was to fight, but i didn't want to fight...I Began to back away from the wolf. My determination wasn't exactly set up for encountering another wolf, but my mind personally noted me to never defend a Kill again, Last time i almost got killed from doing so...I walked backwards more further and ran into the bushes...I Got a fair amount of the kill but i was still partially hungry.
*she is overly surprised at the wolf retreating after defending his kill. Her fur went down and she relaxed, walking to towards the kill and sniffing it, losing her drive for food after seeing him run away and wondering if she was too force. It wasn't her personality or nature to be so rude to another wolf who didn't show big signs of aggression, but her stomach was growling and hurting her from lack of food. She deicded to get a quick few chunks of meat and scarf them down. After words licking her jowel clean and walked toward the bush where the wolf had run to and sniffed around, looking if his scent was still there*
I Ran away from the spot and ended up on a Cliffside. I Was suprised at the immediate drop and almost lost my grip "Phew, thank goodness i didn't Fall otherwise i would be dead"I Said looking at the length of the fall...It was terribly large...I Sat near the cliffside and began to think...I Was in deep thought thinking about stuff...Untill i heard a Large Crack...I Turned around and looked at a Stream that was being Flooded with Water...And i was unfortunate to be caught in the Flood...I was being flung off the cliff. Although my natural instinct drove me to Grab for anything that would support me. I Slammed my paws on the side of the Cliff...Paws were not exactly the most Bestest tool for Rock climbing, and it didn't help me since the cliffside was soggy... "I'm not going to die by falling off a cliff"I Said beginning to drag myself up, I Used all my might to pull half of myself up... My Hind legs were assisting me to get up the cliffside... My heart was pumping from facing near death...I Fainted from the pure shock and layed near the Stream...Blacked out
*while seeing the scent was no longer strong, she turned around to finish eating to her stomach's content but then suddnely heard something off in the distance. She wondered if the wolf had gone that way, or if he got hurt. Her stomach was partly full, but curiousty got the best of her and she walked to the sound, but smelt the wolf's scent and started to run. The closer she came, the more a black figured became clear and what had happened. The once smooth looking cliff had become jagged and fresh dirt was getting wet, she knew part had fallen off and seeing the wolf covered in mud, she also knew he was on it when it happened, but was confused at why he was motionless on the ground. She walked to him slowly and snifffed his snout and then to the neck, nudging softly to see any motion. She lowered her ears and became worried. He looked so weak, and surely the rain could make him sick, and there was no telling when the rain would stop or if the cliff would break again. she didn't want to take any chances and grabbed the wolf by the scruff, dragging him slowly back to the bush where they first encountered*
I looked around, i wasn't in the real world, yet i was in my dreamscape i looked around and saw random things...One of the most dominant things saw was Childhood memories, Like the day i almost got lost from my pack...and the day i became a outcast...But Light began to Erase all of that and i began to wake up.... I Woke up at the forest, it seemed familiar and i began to look around and i saw a Wolf in front of me, i got surprised by this and Jumped...Literally hopped off the floor "Hi?"I said observing the wolf in front of me.
*her motherly instinects took over, seeming to see panic in his eyes and became worried, cowering a bit and ears relaxed. "Are you okay? You seemed to have had an accident" she cooed as softly as she could and licked some dried blood and dirt off his chest to comfort him to show she meant no harm.*
"Yeah, i'm fine, what exactly happened?"I Said completely forgetting about the cliff scenario, the only thing i remembered was being chased away from my kill. I looked at the Wolf, she was very gentle and licked my fur. It reminded me of my Mother...Before the incident happened. "Thanks"I said beginning to stumble up from the ground.
*She looked at the wolf and replied, 'I'm not sure. You ran away, and then I heard a noise. You might of fallen off a cliff or was close to it by the looks". Her eyes wondered to his dirt covered paws and coat. The amount of mud clumped on him surely would of made him a lot more, and if he climbed up the cliff it would of been very tiring. She sniffed the air and poked her head threw the bush to see the carcess of the deer still left a lone. "You need to eat and clean yourself off", she replied quickly, ignoring his thanks*
"Okay, hey how did you know about my Kill?"I Said curiously, i ignored it and walked over to the deer shaking my Fur as mud clumps splat against the ground and nearby trees, i should have taken a personal note not to do it near other beings as some of the mud spat at the other wolf "oops Sorry"I Said looking behind myself at the other wolf...Although the rain washed off the Mud partially i still wanted to apologize for doing such a rude thing.
*She laughed a bit at the mud hitting her, but then hid back in the bushes a bit to escape the rain. "I smelt the blood." Her answers seemed short as she eyed the wolf, knowing not to never get close to a lone wolf. Exspecially another male. Her mate would not be happy that her safety could be in danger at any moment. "You need to eat", She repeated herself a bit louder and more forceful. She would be upset to know that he was low on engery and just walked away with out a kill*
"Okay"I Said beginning to eat the carcass, it taken me a few minutes but i was Bloated from eating too much, "Thanks for the help"I Said thanking the other wolf "Whats your name by the way?"I Said curious at the Wolf. She was a very kind wolf...Unlike all the other wolves who wanted to kill me.
*She watched him eat, still hiding in the bushes. "You're welcome. My name is Dezzah. Lead female of my pack of two with my mate." She believed it was friendly to infrorm a new wolf their pack ranking and secretly did it to get it for more infortmation. She stood up and walked to the deer, eating a bit more, but not a lot to fill her stomach*
"Well my name is Shadow....But i don't really have a pack...I used to"I Said introducing myself, and my lone wolf status. "But i don't want to talk about it...It brings back terrible memories"I Said shuddering from speaking about it. "Oh well...I Guess i should find somewhere to sleep" "Its getting dark y'know"I Said looking at the sky, the clouds were beginning to fade away and show the sky tinted with red.
*She nuzzled the wolf and said, "Pleased to meet you. I won't ask anymore about your past." She looked at the sky aswell and sat back down, letting out a little howl, informing her mate she was close and coming home. A return howl shoot threw the still air in return a second later. "Do you have anywhere sleep?" She looked back at the wolf, turning her back to him and preparing to go home*
"No, but i'm sure i can find something to sleep under, you already have helped me...And i don't want to be a pain"I Said sighing as i began to trod off into a bush. Although the offer of getting shelter was a easy way out, i didn't want to take advantage of it. I Was trying to remember the way to the last Cave i slept in...It was nested with spiders & their webs. but it was Adequate sleeping.
*She followed the wolf and got in front of him, cutting him off. "It wouldn't be a pain. Our cave is bigger than we need. Plently of extra room. There is even a rock that sticks out far, you could sleep behind it for privacy. My mate and I wouldn't mind." She said nudging him off a bit*
"Wouldn't the other pack members feel a bit uncomfortable with me being around?"I Said in fear, i didn't want to cause a dispute or fight in a pack. "I Mean i am a Lone wolf, not a Pack wolf"I said
*She nudged him again towards the path of her home. "Come now. There are only two pack memebers. My mate wouldn't mind. Me either. We are kind and will gladly offer a place for you to sleep." She seemed to say excited.*
"Okay i guess so..."I Said worried, i had never really ever experienced socializing with other wolves in my life, i was a Shy wolf...And i wouldn't exactly have the determination other wolves had. We began to walk to the Pack. I Was discomforted by meeting other wolves and happy to find a place to sleep.
*She ran up to her mate and nuzzled him and introduced Shadow. "He is a lone wolf and needs some place to stay." She nuzzled her mate and watched his expression. He walked up to him and sniffed, but he was being friendly and sniffed his nose. "You are welcome here as long as you want." and went to lay down. She went back to Shadow and smiled and pointed to the rock that stuck out and walked back with Shadow*
"Thank you for your Hospitality, i'm just not ever used to be offered a place to stay and this is a awkward experience for me"I Said walking over to the rock...By now it was dark and it was a Full moom, i sat and looked at it. It was accompanied by starts flickering across the whole sky. I Was amazed at the sight, until a Auora Borealis Filmed throughout the night Sky... "This...This is a amazing sight"I Said admiring the Sky. I never had saw the night sky so Beautiful!
*She had laid down with her mate, resting her head on his neck and looking at the lone wolf. "It really is. The cave seemed like a perfect place to live, but the extra room bothers me at times. Our pack is meant to help others. But with all the rival packs around, there isn't much to help. A stray pup comes a long, and he is quickly snatched up and taught to be a fighter and never now what a home or love is." She said quietly and looking at the sky.*
"Thats terrible...i cannot believe the packs are so brutal!"I Said amazed at the brutality of the rival packs. "When was the last time you ever had to help someone?"I said curious
*She got up and walked next to him and nuzzled him. "Never. Very hard to find strays before they do. You said you were lone.. It's seem incrediable that you are still lone and are not a killer right now..." Worry seemed to take over her voice, as she knew his past seemed to be something he didn't want to talk about*
"Well without delving into my horrible & long story about my past, i was a pup when i...got seperated"I Said stuttering at the last sentence "It was miraculous that i didn't get Taken, i guess i moved to often and always travelled around to avoid that"I said to Dezzah, i tried to take my mind off my past by looking at the stars and trying to imagine Shapes with the Stars.
"This night, it remembers me when i was seperated...it was exactly the same Weather...Full moon & a Auroa Borealis"I Said
*She nuzzled him closely as if he was her own pup. "Well, you are safe now, dear. Nothing should hurt you here. You have grown up with a hard past, and that only leads to a brighter future, you know? I'm sure you could handle so much now." She rested his head on his shoulder*
"Thank you"I Said to Dezzah, my mindset was replaced with a joyful attitude, i felt quite happy after that Moral boost. "I Might go and get a few winks"I Said beginning to lie down on the rock.
*"Sleep all you need, dear. You've had a rough day." She said, leaving him be and walking towards her mate, taking her place at his side once again, but looking towards the sky again and licking Deezeh's ears.*
I peeked my eyes at the sky for a few second, then i fell asleep......
