A New Bagining

"You hear that?"

     Songa purcked up her ears to try and hear what her friend was talking about. She could hear footsteps, and whoever was making them, they were running from somthing or some one. They heard it coming closer, and then they could hear panting.

     The two females looked back and saw a lack, white, and gold Akita running tawrds them, he was bleeding. Then they saw a brown, big and angry looking figure running behind him. They squented thier eye's, and then, relized what was chasing the young dog.

     It was a bear.Songa's friend made a mad dash as fast as she could."Go up hill!The bear will have a had time catching you!"Songa barked.The dog ran.He ran twards a hill."are you sure?"He barked."Trust me!"She yelled.

     She heard the bear roar and she turned up the hill, then she triped over a small stone and the bear was right over her, she closed her eye's. But then she heard the bear sceam in pain, she opend her eye's and saw her father, Balto tearing at the best. He let go and the bear ran back into the forest.

     Balto walked over to the pup. "Are you okay?" He smiled. The pup nodded. He looked at Songa. "Friend of yours" He asked.

     She didn't no what to say, the finely said: "Uhh, yeah! He's an old friend, well, I'll see ya later dad." She said and Balto left. She then walked to the pup with heer friend. "Are you okay?" They asked. He looked at them. "Yeah, im okay, I was just trying to eat when that bear chased me. Well, uuhh, what are your name's? The pup asked. The irls looked at eachother then spoke: "We'll tell you when you tell us what your name is." Songa teased.

     "Oh................ Im...uh.... Z-Zorro...." He said. "I like that name." Songa smiled. Zorro turned away.

     "What's wrong?" Songa asked. He looked back at her and her friend. "Oh... nothing, but now you put up your end of the deal. What are your names?" He asked playfully.

     "I'm Songa."He said proudly. "My father saved this whole Town!" Songa smiled. "I'm a mix between a husky and a wolf,but mostly husky." She smiled. "And who is you friend?" Zorro asked.

     "Oh, this is ny friend, Nakita." SOnga replyd. "Yep, Im a shetland sheepdog, malamute mix." Nakita smiled. "Its nice to meet you, both." Zorro smiled. "Oh! I have two other great friends you need to meet." Songa said. "Come one, thier at the meat locker." She said.

     "Cool." Zorro smiled, acting cool. Or trying too. Around the corner were two wolves. "Oh hey Songa,who's this?"The yellow one barked. "This is Zorro."She smiled. "Oh,well I'm Angel and this is Zasha. "The yellow wolf barked. "Hey Zorro,Are you in for a little exitment?" Zasha asked. "What?"Zorro questioned.

     "Well,were gunna see if we can snag somthing for the meat locker." She smiled. "But why risk it if we can go to my favorite trash can and dig up somthing even better!?!"Zorro laughed. "Sure,lead the way." Angel smiled. They started crossing when a voise popped up.

     "ZASHA! ANGEL! SONGA!"It called.There were two male dogs,well one was a wolf."Oh hey Jaxs,hey Shade."Songa barked."I hope she's not with them."Zorro said softly to himself so no one could hear.Shade nuzzeld Zasha and Jaxz licked angel on the cheeck."So,where you going?"Jaxs smiled.

     "Oh, we're just on our way to his favorite trash can." Angel said.  "Oh, who is this?" Jaxs asked. "Im Zorro." He said. "Well its nice to meet you." The two boys smiled. "OK lets go!" Zorro said and dashed to town.

     "It's right over there!"Zorro said smiling. He pionted and they ran. "Ummmmm Shade........."Zorro asked. "What?"He said. "Ummmmmm I have a crush on-"He was interupted by Shade. "DUDE YOU BETTER NOT BE HITTING ON MY GIRL ZASHA CAUSE I WILL-" He was stopped by Zorro.

     "NOOOOOOOOO.......it's Songa....."He blushed.Shade felt bad for what he said so figured he should help. "OOOoOOOOOoOOHHHHHhHHH......."He said. "Yeah uh........how should I.,.....You know......."He said. "Ask her out?"Shade smiled.

     "Yeah...."Zorro blushed again.Shade went to Jaxs for help.He tugged on his tail."What?"Jaxs said sort of growling with a chicken leg hanging from him mouth,that he had found in the garbage can.

     "Come over here." Shade pointed. Tey sat in a curcle. "Zorro here, has a crush on our friend, Songa. He needs help to get her. What do you think we should do." Shade asked. "Uhh, first, stop acting like we're on a talk-show. Second, we tell you how we got our girls, then you think about." Jaxs said, proudly.

     "OK! That sounds good." Zorro smiled. "Here's how I got Angel. She was runnung and she jumped on me by accidant. Then when we ot up, our uuhh, noses touched. She was so immberist she ran off. Then she was caught by a dog catcher and we saved her. Then she came to live with me. But after my owner was killed we ran-off." Jaxs sighed. "Oh, im soory bro." Zorro said.

     "Well, it was raining realy harsh one night," Shade started. ."I looked around for a cave,and saw one.I went inside but diddn't know someone was allready there.I accedentaly startled her atfirst but we got along,we were both lone wolves.Then,I came back with her tha next day."He smiled."So what should I do?"Zorro asked.

     "Uuuhhh, lets wait a-little and see how things turn out." Jaxs siad. Zorro's ears droped. "Oh, okay." He sighed.

     About a month later, Zorro's feeling for Songa grew, but she didn't have the same feelings for him, or atleast she didn't show it.

Later that day:

     Zasha, Shade, Angel, Jaxs, Zorro, and Songa got together and were playing on the beach when Nikita walked up. "Ugh......Just look at her! She's SOOOOOO stuck up! Trying to play hard to get with Zorro. Huh. Well he'll TODALLY fall for me." She laughed. "Songa's just waisting her time."

     She curled her tail and flufed her ribbin and walked over. "Hey Zorro, you look very hansome today." Nakita winked. "Oh, uuh thanks." He smiled. "When no one was looking she wiisperd in his ear: "Meet me at the boiler room later." She said.

     He looked at her, "Sorry, I already have plans." He relyd. Her eye's whidend. "With who?" She asked. "Well, me and Songa were going to talk in there." He said.

     "Oh.......but Songa told me she was goinng to hang out with Angel and Zasha tonight!" Nikita lied. "What?" Then Zorro relized she probably diddn't want Nikita to know. "Oh thats right, I'm seeing her tomarrow, But I have to go home early tonight to see my owner for somthing." He lied, he diddn't even have an owner.

     "OH! Well, then I'll see you around." SHe said, some-what growling. "Okay." He said and walked back over to Songa and the others. "Hey Songa." He smiled. "Hey, what's wrong with Nakita?" She asked. "Uhh, she..." He began then pulled her from the others.

     "She wanted to see me tonight, but I told her I already had plans with you. So she lied then ran off." He wisperd. They had thier heads down low while they were talking. So they lefted them, but as they did thier heads hit eachother.

     "Ohhh sorry!"Zorro said.Songa just giggled. "It's okay." She smiled. "Hey......wana race?"Zorro laughed. "Sure!" Songa laughed. They raced across the beach, forgetting about the others but they diddn't mind, they ALL knew Zorro was crushing on Songa. "Finnish line at the bolier room." Zorro called. Songa was to busy laughing to race. She thought she'd play a trick on him. She faked like she tripped.

     "OOOWWWWWW!" She called. Zorro turned and came back. He looked down. "HOLY CRAP ARE YOU OKAY?" Zorro shouted. Songa rammed her legs into Zorro, makking him trip and raced into the boiler room. "Hahahahaha You got me!" Zorro laughed. They lied down to cool off. The Nikita walked in. "UH!" She growled.

     "Oh.. hello.. Nakita." Songa said between breaths. "Hello, Songa, Oh! I left somthin outside, do you mind gettin it for me Songa" Nakita lied. "Oh, sure, I'll be right back Zorro." Songa said. She left and Nakita shut the door. "Hello Zorro." She smiled. "Uhh, hey, could you open the door please?" Zorro asked.

     She faked like she was trying to."Oh dear.....I belive were locked in!"She lied."Here let me try..."Zorro started walking to the door but Nikita nocked him over."But honey....where just getting started...."She grinned.

     "Getting started with what?" He asked shocked. "Our family." She said. His eye's whidend. "Nakita, I-Im only a year old, Im not ready for a family, and not with yo.." He was cut off. "WHY? Because of SONGA you know she's..." She was cut off aswell by the banging sound from outside. "Let her in!" Zorro shouted.

     "WHY? SO YOU CAN JOIN UP AND BEAT MY A**? NO!" Niktia growled. "OPEN THIS DOOR OR-" Zorro said but stopped and relized to just ignor her........ He opened the door and Songa came in. Nikita ran as fast as her little legs could carry her outta there. "What happend?" Songa asked. Zorro thought it would be cruel to tell her. "She relized she was late for somthing......" Zorro said.

     "Oh, okay." She sighed. They sat back down and began talking. "So, what brought you to Nome?" Songa asked. Zorro closed his eye's and droped his ears. "Did I say somthing wrong?" She asked. "No, It's just." He stoped. She gently picked his head up with her muzzle. "Tell me." She said calmly.

     "Well......That bear.....It had nothing to do with berries.......My family and I were out walking when......The bear came and......" A tear rolled down his cheeck. Songa knew exactly what happened. "Are they......Gone?" She asked. "I don't even know.......I ran....." He sniffled.

     "Wow, that like what happend to Angel." She sighed. "Well I need to get oing, I had a wonderfull time with you."She said and licked his cheek, before running away. Zorro just sat there, he was happy, yet puzzled at the same time. Did se realy just do that? he thought. Finnely, he closed is eye's, and fell asleep.

     The next day Zorro was awakened by Shade and Jaxs."We have a plan for you a Songa....."They said and clued him in.Meanwhile Zasha and Agel were talking to Songa.

     "Hey Songa,You know that meatlocker close by? The butcher threw out a couple of cans of meat, that are perfectly good, the printer had a typo and the thought the experation date was up! We gotta get down there!" Angel said. The three dogs ran behind the meatlocker. Sure enough, there was perfectly good meat waiting for them to enjoy.

     "Songa,you stay here and gaurd while Zasha and I get the boys." Angel barked. Angel and Zasha ran off. They went up to Shade and Jaxs. "Okay.she's back there." They said. "Your cue Zorro." They said. He walked shyly behind the shop to the meatlocker. But he diddn't know Nikita was close behind following him....

     They began eating. "How lucky are we?" Zorro asked laughing. "Very." Songa said. As they were eating, Zorro's nose touched Songa's. The froze, then smiled at eachother. They pulled away then slowly moved closer, they were about to kiss. "No!" Nakita growled and jumped. As thier lips were about to meet, a light blue/grey figure jumped infront of them, Nakita.

     Songa was shocked. "N-Nikita?" She diddn't know what to do.Her best friend was about to see her kiss. She jumped in front of them, what was she supposed to think!?!Then Nikita relized what she had done.

     "Oh, Zorro, can I talk to you?" She asked. "Sure..." he said. She pulled him away and then started talking. "You know she's cheeting on you, right?" She asked. "What? No, no Songa wouldn't do that."He said. "Oh, but its true, she going with, shade's bro." She lied.

     "Then why did Shade set me up with her?" Zorro asked, he was getting pissed. Now what? Nakita asked herself. "Eh-heemmm."A voice growled from behind. Nakita looked back, it was Songa. Showing her teeth. She had never been so angry in her life.

     "D*** it Nikita,I'm tierd of you screwwing things up with us. Zorro was surprised. Us."S-Songa!I never!Screwwing things up?No!Not me!"She said. "NIKITA I HAVE PUT UP WITH YOU ALL MY LIFE, AND I'M SICK OF IT!" Songa growled.

     "Oh.. back off woldog!" She said. "Uhh, last time I checked your a hybrid too!" Songa shouted. "Yes, but Im not part wolf am I?" Nakita spat. Songa pinnedher down. "Get out of here you lousy b****! And don't let me catch you around here or with my mate again!" Songa shouted. Nakita didn't wait, she took off. "Now that she's gone, where were we?" She asked playfully.

     Zorro took in all that just happened in shock."I dunno I lost my place."Zorro laughed."I thing we were just starting to dig in."Songa smiled.She knocked over the trash can.

     "Oh, okay." Zorro replyd. They finnished thier meal, and they went to thier dens. That morning, while Songa and Zorro were in town, they could here somthing or someone behind them. "Crap, it's Nakita again." Songa growled.

     "Mabey it's not, lets go see." Zorro said. They turned back, and the voices stoped. "Ooohh.." Songa growled to her self. She saw a near by bush shake. She pounced, and found Angel, Zasha, Shade and Jaxs. "Oooh! Why are you here?!" Songa demanded.

     "Uhhhhhh........stuff.........." Zasha smiled cheesy.Songa gave them a questioning look. "Were you sping on us?" She asked.

     Angel jumped out of the bush. "Mabey we were, mabey we weren't." She teased. "Well, what ever you were doing, go do it in the boiler room or somthing." Songa snarled. "Okay, okay! Lets go." Zasha siad. Once they were far out of sight, the two began walking again.

     "Why must they do that?" Zorro asked. Songa smiled: "Good question.". That afternoon, it was geting cold, Songa didn't want to sleep on a night like this alone. "Uhh, Songa. Can I ask you a, question?" He asked. "Sure, ask away." She replyd.

     "Um.......where do you live?" Zorro asked, allthought he wanted to ask somthing else. "I'll show you." Songa smiled. She started to lead Zorro throught town when they heard a radio. They listened. "Heavy storms and blizzards tonight." He rang out. "Oh no." Zorro thought, he diddn't have anywhere to go, he wasn't used to nome, and he slept in alley ways.

     "Oh my. Lets sleep at my place tonight." Songa said, not looking at Zorro. Zorro's eye's whidend, lets? did she say, lets? Zorro thought. "Uuhh, okay, lets go." He said. They were about half way when it started to snow, hard. "Come on, lets hurry!" Songa called and began to run. Zorro quickly followd.

     They fanially got to Songa's place.It was alittle chilly,but alot better than outside.They fell asleep at oposite sides of the den.Zorro woke up in the middle of the night and noticed Songa was shivering.

     "Oh, she must be freezing." He siad to himself. He stood and walked closer, he lied next to her. She stoped shivering some, but was still very cold. He didn't want her to freez, so he did wat was best for the yougng hybrid.

     Zorro fell asleep close to her. Or that's where he was when he woke up.Songa woke up also. "Mmmmmm.... I feel ... differnt....."Songa groaned. "Funny........me too."Zorro said sleepishly. "My stomach feels odd." She groand again.

     "Here, we'll go out and get somthing to eat." Zorro said and walked over to her. "I don't feel like going anywhere today." She moanded. "I'll go bring you back somthing." He said. As he left Angel and Zasha walked in. "Was he here all night?" Angel asked the red hybrid.

     "Yeah, he had no other warm place to sleep. So I let him sleep here. Why ask?" Songa asked. Angel and Zasha looked at eachother. "Well, were was he when you woke up?" Zasha asked. "He was next to me, aain why ask?" Songa asked, she was starting understand why they were asking these questions.

     "Oh no no no no no." She said shocked. "Never. He wound'nt do that...not without me noticing." She said. Angel and Zasha looked at eachother. "Guys........you don't think that do you?" Songa asked. "Well......we'll have to wait and see." Angel said. "I'd like to be alone for awhile guys...I need time to think.....you know.......just incase ." Songa said.

     Zasha and Angel both had a litter of pups previosly and new how stressfull it was,worring about the pups. Songa left the den. She walked and thought and walked somemore. Then she cam across her mother's house. "Maybe she knows what to do...she always does." Songa said to herself. She walked into the house.

     "Mom......I need to talk to you." Songa said quietly. Jenna came around the corner."What is it honey?" Jenna asked. "Well.....It all started when I met someone...."

     "Oh, and who might that be?" Jenna asked. "Zorro." Songa said. Songa tooka deep breath and then bean talking. "After we met, we became great friends, but remember my  friend Nakita?" She asked.

     Jenna noded. "Well, she tried to get Zorro to like her, and he never did. So now she's talking trash about me. And do you remember the blizzerd the other night? Well, Zorro, had no place to sleep. So I let him sleep in my den, well during the night, I was shivering. But then I suddenly got warmer, and my friends think..." She stoped, Jenna began talking.

     "Oh, I see. But why did you come here?" Jenna asked. "To get some advice, just incase." Songa said.

     "Well.....It wont be as bad as you think!Your father and I have noticed that any day now we would probably get some grandpups. Zuko has a crush but is too shy to say any thing, there's you, and Alue has a mate but no pups yet. All you do Is keep Angel, Zasha, and Zorro close, and any other friends you might need, I'll try to visit you often. I'll tell your father too." Jenna smiled. Songa looked down at her paws and Jenna knew somthing was still wrong.

     "Look sweatheart, you may not even have pups, don't even think about it untill you know for sure." Jenna smiled. Songa rasied her head a bit. "I'm goinng back home now.........I have to talk to Zorro." Songa said and walked out the doggie door.

     As Songa left, Jenna looked down at her paws. "Finnely." She sighed. Songa stood outside her den, she didn't know what to say or ask him, but what she didn't know was that he wasn't in the den. She pocked her head inside, no one was there. She walked in and lied down, waiting for him to get there. Finnely, she could here his voice. He walked in with a bag, full of meat. "Welcome home." Songa smiled. Zorro's eye' whidend. Home!?

     Zorro was lost in his thought. "Well?" Songa asked. Oh, right. "Zorro said and put the meat on the ground. They dug in. Zorro noticed Songa wasn't eating very much. "Does your stomach still hurt?" He asked. "Zorro....I need to tell you somthing...." Songa started.

     "Oh, yes didn't you have somthing to ask me?" Zorro asked. Songa mumbled somthing. "What? Did I do somthing wrong?" He asked. "Uuhhh, no.I don't think you would do that without telling me first." Songa said, not looking at him. "Do what?" He asked, very puzzled.

     "Oh, nothing." She said. "Lets go for a walk." She said, wanting to change the subject. He nodded, and they walked out of the den. Once they were in town, they walked very close to eachother. "Let's hope we don't run into Nakita again." Songa said, half growling. "Yeah, I can't stand her." Zorro chuckled.

     "Anywho.....well.....last night.....my friends....." Songa started. "Yeah?" Zorro smiled. "They think .........." Songa mubled. "What?" Zorro asked curiously."That I might be.............haveing........." Songa started. "The Flu? Does your stomach still hurt?"Hw asked. "No......that......I Might be haveing.....WE might be having......Pups." Songa shyly said."P-Pups?" Zorro barked. Then suddenly Nikita flew out from behind them. "NO!" She growled.

     "Were you following us?" Zorro asked. "Oh, nnooo, I just happend to be waling by, and over heard you." Nakita lied. "How much did you hear?" Songa asked. Nakita slightly braed her teeth. "The part where you said, you were, having pups." She growled. Songa growled: "I don't know for sure, but go find your own boy to stalk around town.".

     "I ALREADY HAVE!" Nakita said rather loudly, she pulled Zorro next to her. "I think your mistaken. Zorro, is with me!! NOT you." Songa snarled, pulling him back to her. Nalita turned and walked away, and as she did, Songa began talking to Zorro. "You don't mind that I said that, right?" She asked. "What? About us being together.... not at all." He replyd smiling.

     Niktia kept walking."he belongs to me!"Niktia growled."Everything in her world is perfect."Niktia said to herself."I'll get revenge oneday.....and Zorro will be mine."She lauged.

     About two weeks later, Songa's stomach was gitting bigger, and her and Zorro were very excited. "I can't wait to tell dad!" Songa said,running to her father's boat. She was about twenty feet he she began calling: "Dad! Dad are home?".

     Balto walked to the edge of the boat and saw Songa running twards him. She quickly ran up the lader and ran to him."Dad.. guess... what!" She said panting. "What is it?" He asked, luaghing at how tired she was.

     Zorro walked up on the boat as well, panting because he was tierd after running after the red hybrid. "Whoa...your realy him......the great Balto..." Zorro smiled. Balto smiled. "So,what where you saying Songa?" Balto laughed. "I'M HAVING PUPS!"She laughed. Balto's smile grew. "That's great!" Balto barked. "But your mother said you where having problums with Nakita?" Balto asked.

     Songa closed her eye's tightly, then Zorro spoke up: "We just had a, rather bad fight with her. I don't think we should talk about her until after our puppies are born." He whisperd in Balto's ear. "Oh, im sorry." Balto said. "Wait... does Jenna know about this?"He suddelny asked. Songa opend her eye's again. "Oh, no! I forgot, bye dad." She howled as she ran off the boat. " Bye sir." Zorro bowd and ran after her.

     "What did you forget?" Zorro asked following Songa. "My mother's girl wanted to check on me today." Songa said. They raced to her house. As they walked up the steps of the house, Songa felt a sharp pain in her stomach. "Are you okay?" Zorro asked. "Er...I guess...the pups are kicking pretty hard." Songa said. They mad it up the steps and into the house. "C'mon girl." Rosie said and lied Songa to a blanket.

     "Here girl, you need to take it easy for the next few days.Rosie said. She lied on the blanket. Zorro's ears folded back on his head. "Oh,I diddn't think you'd wana stay boy." Rosie said. He patted him on the head. You can share the blanket with Songa. "She said. He lied beside her.

     "Oowww."Songa groand allitle. "Did they kick again?"Zorro laughed. "Mmm hmmm."Songa said and lied he head on his paws.He put his head over her neck.They fell asleep.Rosie walked to her room and went to bed.


     Songa woke up late at night.She turned her head to the clock close by. "2:41" She said. She lied her head back down.Her stomach cramped. "OOOWWWWW"She moaned. She drank allitle water.

     "OOOwwwwwww uuuuuhhhhhhhh mmmmmuuuuhhhhhaaaaa. "She groand. She Turned over. She watched her stomach move. "No...please....just...wait un-until......morning....."She groaned.

     Jenna heard whining in and walked out of Rosie's room. "Songa? Are you okay?" She asked. Songa tried not to ack like she was in pain. "Oh, yes im fine." She said. Jenna gave her a puzzled look, then walked back into the room. Songa's stomach moved harder this time. "OOOOHHHHH!!" She cried trying to keep her voice down. "Songa?" Zorro said.

     "The.......tha.....tha.....p....pups...."She screamed.Zorro's eyes widened. "AHHHHHHHHH OH GOSH!!!!!" He yelled. He Ran in circles in the den. Jenna woke up. She ran to the den. "What happend?"She asked. "IT'S SONGA!THE PUPS ARE COMMING!" Zorro yelled. Jenna ran into the room. The first pup was allready beside her.

     Jenna ran around the house barking, trying to wake up her owners. Rosie's mum and dad got out of bed an went into the room. About an hour later, all the pups were born. Songa rested her head on Zorro's paws. "Six little puppies." Rosie's father sighed. "Well..." Her mother began. "Now, they need names." She said.

     "Hmmmmmmm how about Apollo, Jaysha,and Dagger? I had a team once, and those were the names of my favorite dogs." Rosie's father laughed.

     Rosie saw one pup that was slightly bigger than the others. "Mom, let's name this one after Jenna's dad Nanook." She said. Her mom nodded. "Oh, look, twins!" Rosie cheered, picking up to females that looked alot alike. "They remind me of the twins in a movie I saw. Diana, and Danah. Can we name them those." She asked. Her parents nodded.

     Songa licked the pups. Rosie yawned. "Lets to back to bed." Her mother said and they walked out of her house. Songa lied her head on Zorro's paws. "I have to stay with the pups for the first couple of weeks. Tommarow will you tell are friends?" Songa asked Zorro. "Sure,But you need rest." Zorro said.Songa lied back down, they ,and the new pups fell quicky asleep.

     The next day Zorro awoke. "Okay Songa,I'll be back soon." Zorro said and want out the door. He met all the dogs around a dead caribou. "How's Songa?" Angel asked. "Just had pups!" Zorro smiled. "No way!Concratulations!" They barked. "Well you better get back to her then." Jaxs said. Zorro happily walked back to the house. Suddenly a silver grey female dog walked up to him. He tried to egnore her but she spoke.

     "Um......So......She did have pups?" Nikita said. "Six." Zorro said and kept walking. "Oh.....May I see them?" Nikita asked. Zorro turned to her growling a bit. "NO!I mean......She needs her rest!" Zorro said and kept walking. "Oh okay....well....I'll come back in about an hour." Nikita said. "NO!Diddn't you hear me?I said-" Zorro turned around but she was out of sight. "Great." He snarled to himself.

     A few minutes later they head a sracth on the door. Rosie opend it. "Oh hello Nikita!Songa just had pups! There back there. "Rosie said, pointing to a differnt room. They heard every word. Nikita walked in. "Oh hello Songa,I just wanted to stop by and apologize." Nikita lied.

     "Oh,look how beautiful your pups are." Nikita smiled. Songa diddn't trust her,but for her pups sake, she figured not to show anger twards her. "Oh hello Nikita, Nice of you to drop by and see how we where doing."Songa lied.

      "Your welcome." Nakita said, almost in a growl. Rosie's mother walked in. "Songa, I have some-" She stoped, she didn't know Nakita was in there. She put the food down and grabed Nakita's bow and took her outside. "She needs to rest, com back some other time." She said. Nakita growled to herself, and walked away.

     "Oh I know you want to see her,but you need rest."She said and patted Songa on the head.She walked off."I'll never know why you don't wana live her."Zorro siad."Oh..."Songa siad."I don't wana talk about it....I'm not a people dog."She sighed."Zorro licked the pups."Awww look at them......I wish they would'nt grow up."He sighed.

     Songa laughed: "Well, if they never grew up, they wouldn't be able to play with us.". "Oh, right." Zorro laughed. About three weeks later, the pups could walk, but not very well. They could also talk, but again, not very well. One day, it was very sunny and warm, and the pups were playing outside.

     Jaysha stummbled a bit twards the bushes beside the house. A large dog walked up to her. "Hello there."She said. "Who....awre wou?" She smiled. "My name is Nikita, I'm your mommy's best friend." She lied. "Hewllo." Jaysha smiled. "Where is your mommy?" Nikita asked. "On da pourch." Jaysha tried to say. "Is your daddy with her?" Nikita asked. "No...He went to go see thasha and yangel [zasha and angel]." Jaysha siad.

     "They awre vewy nice." She smiled. "Oh he did?" Nikita said. Jaysha nodded. "Mabey Momma wanth's to see you."Jaysha said. "MA-" Nikita covered her mouth with her paw. "You can't tell her I'm here...It's a suprise...for later...." Nikita lied again.She moved her paw for the pup's mouth. "Oh." She smiled.

     Jaysha walked back over to the other's. "Oh, there you are, who were you talking to?" Songa asked. "Ohh, uuhh, nobody momma." Jaysha lied. "Don't lie hon, who were yu talking to?" Songa camanded. She didn't want to give Nakita away, so she lied again: "One of you buddy's.". "Oh, Angel and Zasha?" Songa asked. "Uhh, no." Jaysha whined.

     "Oh, I know who... Nakita!" Songa growled. But Nakita's name was almost in a whisper. Then Zorro, Angel and Zasha came out of some bushes. "Daddy!" The pups barked, running to play with thier father. "Look who I brought with me." Zorro smiled. The pups looked and saw the two other's and ran to them. "Hi aunt Angel, hi aunt Zasha!" They cheered. "Hey, you three stat with the kids, I'll be back." Songa called.

     Zasha looked down to see little dagger pouncing on her foot. They started playing around. Songa ran to the other side of the road,then she looked everywhere,and finally found her close by. "Nikita....."Songa growled. She turned around. "Oh hello Songa,How are you? I diddn't know you were allowed outside." She smiled. "Oh shut up! I KNOW you talked to my dauther and now she thinks it's okay to lie!" Songa growled.

     "Well you diddn't think the pups would always obey you did you?" Nikita laughed. She started walking up the steps to her house when Songa grabbed her tail and thew her to the ground. Nikita quickly got up,but Songa followed her. She dove into the dog door of her house and lied inside. She knew Songa wouldn't follow her inthere.Songa trotted back home.

     She found her way home and soon heard her puppies screaming. "Momma!" They barked. She smiled at her puppies, they jumped on her, and she lied down to let them jump on her. "It's geting late. Kids, go inside and see grandma,and she'll tuke-you-in." Songa said softly. The pups yawned and walked inside. "Zorro, we need to talk." Songa began.

     "Nikita talked to Jaysha,and now she thinks it's okay to lie,But it's not her fault.Nikita is a danger to our family."Songa siad,slightly growling."what should we do?"Zorro asked."I dunno...I sleep on it."She said.

     "Lets go in." Zorro said, after hearing somthing in the bushes. They walked in, and then Nakita walked out of the bushes. "Great, now he know's, if only I could... get one of the pups.. in danger... I got it!" She said to herself. She ran home, and walked in the doggie-door.

     "Hey girl!" Nakita's owner said, who was Rosie's friend, wich is how Nakita and Songa became friends. Altho she didn't want to see her, she let her owner pet her, and then walked into her room. The next day, Nakita was up at sunrise. She walked right to where Songa was living, and waited.

     Once the puppies and Songa were outside, Nakita made her move. When Songa was playing with Apollo, she called Jaysha over. "Jaysha, wanna come play~?" Nakita asked. Jaysha ran over and jumped on her. "Yes Na-"

     "Ssshh, don't let you momma hear us, or else we can't play." Nakita lied. Nakita picked the puppy up in her mouth and troted away. Once they were very far, she droped Jaysha. "Whats ya wanna play?" Jaysha asked. "Come, lets go swimming!" Nakita said. "Whats that?" Jaysha asked playfully. "I'll show you.." Nakita said. She jumped into the near by pond, Jaysha did her best to follow.

      Once they were at thr deepest point, Jaysha was having alot of truble swimming. "Nakita... I.. Can't... Help!!" Jaysha cried. "Nows my chance... Oh, don't worry, I'll be right back!" Nakita yelled, swimming to shore.

     "SONGA ZORRO!" Nikita said. She came skidding around the corner. "GET OUTA HERE!"Songa growled. "NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND,JAYSHA'S IN TROUBLE!!!" Nikita screamed. They ran to the pond. Songa was about to jump in,when Nakita lunged to Jaysha. Songa fell back. Nikita drug a drenched Jaysha to shore. Songa went right into action to help Jaysha. "Dear me!"Nikita said. "Oh I hope She'll me okay!" Nikita lied.She realy diddn't give a crap.

     Songa new that it was Nakita's fault, because if Jaysha realy did get stuck in the pond, then Nakita wouldn't just run and get her parents, she would save her. "Nakita! Im not stupid! I know this is your fault and I don't want to hear Oh, I hope she'll be okay because thats a lie! You don't care! You want-" She was cut of by a ssomone else.

     "You want us to think you saved her and I will dump my mate, and go with you. But thats not going to happen, and because you nearly killed my daughter, I don't want to see or hear you bein near my pups, my mate, and anyone else in my family!" Zorro coldly spat. Nakita stood there, it took some time for it to sink in. "Did you get the message?.... Just get out of here!" Songa souted. Nakita ran-off.

     "Somthhing realy does need to be done with her."Songa growled."M-mommy?"Jaysha asked."What?"She asked her."Is Nikita bad?"Jaysha asked.Songa looked at Zorro then back at her daughter."Hon.....Nikita is very mean to mommy and daddy.......she wants daddy to be with her and not me."Songa replied."But she is your friend!"Jaysha said."No Jaysha.....Nikita dosn't want daddy to be your daddy."Songa tried to explain.

     "But she was going swimming with me,and then she saved me."Jaysha replied."no.....she was.....goinng to.....hurt you."Songa said."She just saved you so daddy would like her,but It diddn't work."She said.Jaysha looked at her funny."But Nikita said she was my friend."Jaysha said."I know it's complacated....but you'll see someday..."Songa smiled.

     A few days later the pups where playing with Angel and Zasha.Songa and Zorro where talking."It's been days since....you know.....what happend."Songa said."I havn't seen a clue of Nikita.....Zorro....I'm worried.....what is she's watching for a good time to strike?"Songa said."I dunno.....she seemed pretty upset when we told her off.....mabey she relized what she did was wrong...."Zorro smiled."No.....I know Nikita....."Songa grumbled.

     Zorro looked at his feet. "Mabey, but from now on someone always, must be the children." He sighed. Meanwhile, Nakita pased back and forth. What do I do now... the 'drawning' plan didn't work.. what now? Nakita asked her self, she couldn't think of a better plan to get Zorro to love her. Her owner went up to her and wanted to pet her, she let her for a minute, the snaped at her.

     "Bad girl!" Her owner shouted and slaped her in the face. Nakita whimperd then ran to her doggie-bed. She lied there, crying and trying to think of what to do next. Then the idea came to her. "I'v got it!" She said and jumped out of her bed.

     Nikita ran out into the yard then relized that it was to soon to strike."Crap...She's probably exepecting somthing....Hmmm....I'll lay low for a while....then I'll strike.....when nobody's ready for it..."She mummbeld to herself."Hmmm In about a month....Thats when I'll strike."She laughed.Songa lunged around a corner."I heard everything!"She growled.

     "Wha-NO NO NO NO NO YOU DON'T----I'M NOT GUNNA-----NOOOOOO!"She cried.Songa lunged,but Nikita once again doged into the door."I'll get her next time.....And She'll rergret....everything." Songa growled. "YOU HEAR ME? NIKITA IF I EVERY SEE YOU AGAIN I'LL RIP YOUR THROUGHT OUT!" She Snarled and ran back to Zorro.

     A tear ran down her red furry cheeck.She colapsed in the floor of Rosie's house. Zorro walked up to her. "A-are you okay?"He asked."No....Zorro I'm scared....Nikita's plotting somthing.....and....We used to be such good friends....I thought she'd turned into a monster.....But I think I'm becoming the same....."She cried."No.....You are doing the right thing by keeping OUR pups safe.OUR pups,she has nothing to do with them!"Zorro said.

     "No....There is somthing more to it......But I don't Know what...."Songa cried."Songa,you have done nothing wrong....Jelosey got the better of her...."Zorro said while nuzzling her."You don't understand.....She is Jelous.....but not of oue pups.....Mabey not even you....I mean off course she is Jelous of you and them....but.....I think thiers something else....Zorro.....It's too confusing."She started."There's somthing there....I just now it...."
