New Beginnings 



A raven flew over a lake of ice that seemed to go on for miles around. In the center of this great ice, a gold blond wolf ran his heartbeat racing at such high speed it could have burst at that point.

The ice behind him was breaking fast and was getting closer to the wolf ever second. The wolf was so frightened; he didn’t see the great icy cliff ahead. before he realized what was happen, he was falling to a dark and cold death.

His vision faded and all he heard was the sound of a pup’s voice “MOM NO” it yelled and a gun shot then…..nothing.


 The blond male wolf sky blue eye’s shot open with fear of the nightmare he had just a moment ago. The wolf look around to see he was on a beach seeing the deep blue sea in front of him and look to his side to see a dark forest.

The male wolf tired to stand but as he did great waves of pain went coursing through his entire body and he fell back down and looked to the back of his body to see he was badly wounded with cuts, bruises, and his back left leg was broken as well.

The male wolf's mind went rushing with questions, “WHO AM I, WHERE AM I, AND HOW DID I GET LIKE THIS” But The wolf thoughts were interrupted as he saw the sun was setting soon over some mountains and the darkness of night was starting to cover the red sky. The wolf soon realized that if he didn’t find somewhere to stay the night he be dead by tomorrow morning from the cold weather.

 With that thought crossing his mind he shivered and tired to stand up the best he could but nearly fell again do to the pain but time was of the essence and try to forget the pain and began to walk on his three still good feet. He walked in to the wood looking for shelter not knowing that dark eyes were watching his every move.


The male wolf walk for what was an hour but to him seemed like days. His luck was looking up when he found a old fox den that seemed abandon “looks like I am a lot more luck then I thought ,”the blond wolf said to him self with a small grin on his face but faded away when the pain from his cuts were touched by the snow that was now falling. As he crawled in to the small fox den again trying to forget the pain as his cuts touched the roof of the cave. He could only hopes that the den would be stable enough not to fall on him when he tried to get in. The wolf turned around so his nose was the only thing sticking out the cramp den. The male wolf didn't want to sleep but the day had been brutal and most of his energy was gone from the walk here, As his struggle to stay awake failed fast and he drifted off to sleep.


While the blond wolf slept two dark figures watch his every move from the darkness of the tree's. One of the figures look at the blond male wolf then to the other dark figure “He’s sleeping what should we do now” it said to the other in a male voice that sound impatient. “We can’t do any thing for now so let just keep watching him and see what happens ” the other figure said in a female voice that sound dark and cold as she look back at the sleeping male.


The next morning the blond male wolf woke up with great pain from his wounds touch the side's of the cramp den but not sure where he was till his mind recalled yesterday events.

 The male was just about to go back to sleep when a loud sound startled him making him smack his head on the top of the small fox den. “OUCH” he yelled putting one of his paw's on his head feeling the new bump “DAMN IT if I keep this up I'll be killing my self by the end of the day” the male said furiously.

The wolf looked around to find the source of the sound but when it came out again he looked down to see it was his own stomach growing loudly. He smiled a little “looks like I’m hungry” he said to himself. “Well I better find something to eat” he said. As the wolf went out of the den the cold wind hit his face as he looked to see the ground was covered with snow from the night before, the male started to walk away from the den he sniffed the air to find a scent of another animals, he catches a strong sent of what seemed to be a hare. As he smells the hare’s sent he walks to it which seemed like a hour but was only a few minutes to the source of the smell “apparently time is slow to me” he thought to himself with a blank look on his face. In a small amount of time the male could see a frozen lake ahead of him. When the wolf saw the lake a chill went through his body being reminded of the dream he had just yesterday. The frozen lake was small but It would still take sometime to cross around it. The male’s eyes turn from the lake quickly when the smell of meat filled his nose. He looked to his right to see a dead hare on the ground near the shore line of the lake. The wolf was smarter than some would think and questioned the fact that the hare was laying there, just laying there! He walk slow up to the hare carcass and when close enough to the hare he sniffed it carefully making sure that if there was something wrong with it he would not sniffing it in and get sick. After a few more seconds of smelling the corpse he looked at it one last time very closely he saw teeth marks in it he decide that another wolf killed it and forgot about it. With that he graphed it with his mouth tasting the raw meat then began to walk back the same way he came, but he only got a few feet before the male heard a voice yell out “HELP SOMEONE HELP ME” when hearing this he turned around to see where it was coming from but he barely saw anything in the distance because the snow that was now falling but a second look showed what seemed to be two other wolves surrounding one defenseless she-wolf. The blond wolf turned around and went back to walking to his fox den but the cry for help went on and on. “Sorry but nice guys finish last” the male wolf though, but the last cry for help went trough his mind like a endless echo and felt as if a tree fell on him. He sighed as the hare's body was dropped on to ground “why am I always the nice guy” he said out loud as he turned around still trying to forget the pain and ran the best he could with his broken leg.


The wolf ran to the shore line of the frozen lake he looked to see the others wolves still there he saw the two wolves were about to attack the female. He saw how long it would take to get there going around and could not make it in time by going around the lake so he start to walk on the ice slowly try to keep his balance and as soon as he had it he began to run as fast as he could again “they better not lay a paw on the female or they will pay for it” he was think to him self as his anger raised.

 

“There is nowhere to run girly” one of the Male wolves said to the female. “YA nowhere to run ha-ha” the other male wolf said in a tone that made him sound a tad insane. The two males enclosed on the female who had her back to a tree wishing see was anywhere but here. “Well at least I have a brain” the female said to the males. “What’s a brain” the insane male said to the other. The other male didn’t say anything but hit the other on the head and said “from now on let me talk idiot” before he turned back to the female who was giggling at what he just did. “So you think that’s funny well then you’ll be DYEING of laughter soon” the same wolf said at the she-wolf baring his teeth and jumped at the female. All three wolves were shock when the wolf that was going to attack the female was hit in the side by an unknown object while still in the air. When the male got back on his feet after a painful landing he tried to see what had hit him “who the hell did that” the male said but before he knew it a wolf appeared behind him “me” was the only thing the new wolf said before this new wolf’s paw hit the other male in the face knocking him back several feet and made him hit his back on the tree. When this new wolf looked at the spot the other male was earlier, but the new wolf was hit from behind and was sent back a few feet by the insane male. After getting up the new wolf stared at male that attack him and his eyes went wide with anger and charged at the insane wolf. The male was too shock by the new wolf's anger and speed to move out of the way before getting hit in the head with the attackers own head before flying back. The two males both got up and ran to attack the new wolf again but the wolf dodged the attacks and the male's where getting tired fast so these new wolf took advantage of this and grabbed one of the male's by the tail with his jaw's and simply threw him at the other male with out even trying. the males wolves who were beaten badly by this powerful new wolf looked at each other and began to run away before they vanished one of them yelled out loud “WILL GET YOU FOR THIS” and with that he and the other wolf disappeared in to the darkness of the woods.

The female was scared of what had happened she looked back to the wolfs that ran into the woods then to her savior that had chased them off. She got a good look at the male he was a gold blond male with blue sky eyes and a white under belly he had many cuts and bruises on him and one of his leg was broken make her wondered how he could fight like that with a broken leg. “Who is he” she thought to her self fearful. The male wolf walked over to her all the anger in his eyes from the battle was gone the second he saw her. “Are you ok” he said in a serious tone. “I’m fine but who are you” the female said a bit scared of the blond male. “Well I don’t know who I am or where I am so that’s all I can say” he said with a smile on his face but the female new he was telling the truth. “So can I know the name of the female I saved” the male said. “Well if you must know I’m Rain for I am called that because I was born in a rainstorm” Rain said with pride in her voice. “Well it nice to meet you but tell me what are you doing out here you need to be with your pack” the male said in serous tone. Rain simply looked down at her paws shamefully, the male felt like he said something he wasn’t suppose too. “I’m sorry Rain I didn’t mean to upset you” the male said with a sorry look in his eyes. “Its all right I’m the child of a…..let say an important member of my pack and I couldn’t live up to it” she said in a sad tone. “Well right now I think you need to get home because those two will be back with more friends” He said looking at where the two males ran off. “Your right if I like it or not I think it’s best I head back to my pack but can you…” but Rain was cut of. “Yes I will take you back” the male said before she could end her sentence. “How do you know what I was going say” Rain said a bit confessed. “After saving your life I guessed that you want something else seeing how well thing are going for you” he said in child's tone. “Well I guess we better get going then” Rain said. She was about to head of into the woods when Rain's stomach made a large sound and her face turned red with embarrassment “sorry I haven’t eaten in two days” she said shyly. “Well I found a dead hare near here so you could eat that” he said with a grin on his face. Before Rain could say anything the male was running back to the hare carcass hoping it was still there luckily it was there and uneaten too. He picked it up and ran back to Rain still trying too forgetting the pain of his leg. He drop it in front of Rain with the same grin on his face’s he had when he left to get it. “Dig in what mine is yours” He said happily. Rain was about to eat when she looked up to see the blond male standing over her look down. “Um can you not look at me while I eat” she said a bit coldly. “Sorry I’ll go stand behind a tree or something” the male said and walk behind the same tree Rain was cornered in early he knew she was still a little scared from two wolves he frighten off minutes ago. While Rain ate the male went back to his thoughts again the same questions came up but new one start to pop up many that involved Rain and why were those two males attacking her, and why did he even care. He was too lost in his thought that he didn’t even notice that rain was done eating and was already standing next to him. “HELLO, HELLO, HELLO” Rain yelled at the male. The male was startled by the yelling she-wolf and jump about 3 feet in the air and landed on his back sided which hurt badly still. “DON’T SCARE ME” he yelled at the top of his lunges because of the pain. “Well maybe if you don’t go turning in to a statue I won’t have to yell” Rain said in a mad voice. “So are you done can we go now” he said with a mad look on his face. “Yes we can go now but you have to eat right” Rain said. “Nope not really” he lied truth was he starveling but he was only focusing on getting rain back home. “Okay let move on” she said and they both walk in to the woods.


The blond male never truly saw Rain’s fur he always was looking her in the eyes. She had a white underbelly and the top was a light gray with gold yellow eyes. The male stopped looking at her unsure why he did in the first place. While the male was looking at Rain again, Rain was think to herself as well “Why is this male so nice to me I hope this is not some trap” Rain was think but something in her mind was telling her otherwise “He seems nice and he said he can’t remember who he is” and another voice said “It may be a lie and he will take advantage of you when you let you guard down” as her thoughts were fighting still the male was looking at her now wondering what she was think. The walk was cold and quiet nether wolf said anything only the sound of the snow as they steeped on it was heard and it seemed to go on for hours before the male caught the scent of a pack marker tell him they were in a packs land but was it Rain’s pack the male could only hope. The male started to hear sounds around him thing moving in tree's and he thought he saw another wolf but Rains face stayed cool most likely she didn't see anything. The male ten stopped “Hold on Rain I need to rest for a minute my back leg broken and all” the male said as he sat down. “Okay you stay there I’m going to see if there some water around here” Rain said. Rain walk of into the woods leavening the male alone “I hope we find this pack of her's soon” he thought. He then heard the noises again they seemed to be getting closer every second. “I still want to know why those male's tried to kill her” he said to himself. Then before he realized he was attack from the side of what felt like an ox slammed into him. The male went flying into a tree nearly breaking it in two, he looked up to what hit him but his vision was fading and he could only see something bearing its teeth before darkness was all he could see.


 The blond wolf eye opened slowly but he was not in the woods he was in a ice cave with no exits at all. He close his eye's and opened them again and looked around again this time the ice was gone and around him was only darkness “what the hell is going on” the male said but no word came out only his lips moved. He was scared of this but his fear was gone when he saw shadowy figurers what looked like two wolves embracing each other and pups playing around with each other in front of the two wolfs still embracing. “My love what are we going to do” one of the adult wolves said to the other with a female’s voice after she stop the embrace. “My dear I can take are pups to my uncle’s pack they can live there and become strong” the other wolf said looking at the one that started the conversation in a male’s voice. The female turned her sight to one of the pups in the group “I know that but, I’m more worried about him his fur is...” she tried to say but she started cry not being able to end the sentence. “He was given a gift of power and the fur will state it but, still he a danger to other’s we must care for him till he can take the world on his own and control his power” the male said after licking the tears off the female. “I hope he can have a better life then but we have to give him a name still” the female said. “Yes and I know what to call him his life is unclear so I wish to call him Blake” the male said with pride. “Blake why that as a name” the female said curiously. “One I like it, two his live is unclear, Blank if you will and four out of five of the letters make it Blake and blank” the male said. “You lost me” the female said confused. “Let just stay his name states his future” the male said. “Very well my dear but when he leaves us he can call him self what he wishes” the female said. “For you my love anything” the male said passionately . Then what could be seen of these shadows faded back in to the darkness leavening the blond male alone and not just a little confessed. The male felt someone behind him he turned around to see a pup but it fur was so dark it blend in to the darkness behind it and the eyes where glowing red it looked more like a demon pup. “Who are you ohcumgache*” the male said with fear. "were those my parents" the male ask the pup. The pup looked straight in to the males eye and only said three words “you are lost” in a dark voice that made the male freeze with terror. Then a light flashed and the wolf and pup where gone


Again the wolf eyes shot open with fear of this new nightmare, he look around think he be on a beach again but instead he was in a small den. “Where am I” the wolf said to himself. “You’re in a pack den but it’s a prison” a female voice said from behind him. The male was startled by the voice but this time he didn’t jump in the air this time and looked around to see two other wolves one female and the other a male but it was to dark to see there face's. “Who are you and how do you know that” the blond male said. “we get attack long time ago we stay here long time now” the other male said in what sound like a cave man. “ya he’s right don’t worry blondey they don’t kill us and just to let you know he always talk like this something to do with a problem when he was a pup” the female said after the male was done talking. “Ok but don’t call me blondey ok” the blond male said with an annoyed look on his face. “Ok goldey what’s your name” the female said. The blond male had opened his mouth trying to say something but closed it and then said “my name is…..Blake” the male said after a short pause. “Blake ay well nice to meet you just wish it was under better circumstance” the female joked. “me like you Blakey” the other male said. “Um thanks I think” Blake said unsure what he said exactly. Just then a black wolf with under belly just like rains but his paws where white and so was his tail as well. “YOU NEW WOLF I AM ALPHA OF THIS PACK AND YOU WILL COME WITH ME” he yelled at Blake madly but Blake knew he best do what he was told and got up which still hurt from his cuts still bad as it they were on the beach and began to walk out of the den.


When Blake walk out the light blinded him at first but eye adjusted quickly he saw a few dens on a mountain side and around 25 maybe 30 wolves. The alpha took him to a large den which Blake guest was the alpha den. When Blake look around he saw a female wolf she was a gray on top but light gray on the bottom she had the same yellow eyes as rain “I guess she rain mother and the alpha female, no wonder she couldn’t take the heat of being a alpha” Blake thought to him self a little upset rain never told him she was a alpha to be but, his mind was turned from that when the alpha male walk over and whispered something to the other alpha and the female face turn from a blank to a angry glare that made him fell is she was about to attack him at anytime. The alpha male turn back to him and said “we have spoken and now I will ask you and you will answer” and looked him in the eyes with anger. Blake returned the glare but not with hate but with confession then said “If you tell me your name then I will tell you mine” Blake said with small smirk on his face. “I give you credit for you bravery my name is Renegade” Renegade said in a cold tone. “My name is Blake and it is a pleasure to meet you renegade alpha of this pack” Blake said. “But before begin this questioning I want know a few thing my self so ever question you give me I give you one deal” Blake said. “Very well but you must answer the questions honestly” Renegade said. “Deal” Blake said satisfied. The so called interrogation began with many question renegades questions most to do with who Blake was and Blake’s questions had to do with the pack’s history, renegade, and now and then about other place’s around here. The questions went on neither of them pause or finding what to say just simple and straight answers. “one last question then I’m do” the alpha male said. “ok and I will answerer and then I will give you my last one” Blake said. “will you accept a punishment with honer” renegade said. “yes I will and here’s mine, what’s your mate’s name” Blake said smoothly “my name is Alue daughter of Balto and Jenna” the female said. “I guess that answers my question” Blake said happily. “yes I guess it doe’s” renegade said what seem to be a happy tone. Just then a wolf walk in to the room when Blake saw who it was his heart leaped with joy. “RAIN” he yelled with pure joy. “Looks like you meet my parents” rain said shyly. “yes I have and you have great parents to boot” he said in a heart warming tone. “well glad you like them” rain said. “wait before we go on I gave my self a name” Blake said “what is it then” rain said eagerly. “Blake it's Blake” Blake said proudly. “Blake hu I like it plan and lame like you” she joked. They both laughed at the joke but the two alpha stood there a bit confessed at what they saw. “um sorry to bother you two but it time to get to the punishment” the alpha male said. “yes which one of you going to choose my punishment” Blake said. “Not us but rain will choose it” Alue said. “yes Blake I going to choose it” rain said in a serous tone. “this is my luck day I get off a punishment thank you sprits” Blake thought to himself truth was he didn’t know what he did wrong but didn’t real care they thought it so he went with it. “your punishment is you will stay here not as a member of the pack but as a bodyguard you will defend me with your life and will never leave my side unless I tell you to and this is soul bonding you will not be freed till my death or your death or in till I release you” Rain said sending blake in utter shock and confusion. “then let it be so do you accept my daughters rules of your punishment” renegade said. “yes I do” Blake said still in shock not real sure what he was saying. “very well but to protect her you must be in better health you will go to the healers den and have your wounds cleaned and healed the best they can” alue said. “But I still need time to heal not one night alone can heal my wounds” Blake point out. “Don’t worry rain is not going anywhere till winter’s end just when she is with me training to be alpha” Renegade said. “but dad” rain cried “no rain you ran off for three whole days and you scared us both half to death I DON’T WANT TO HEAR IT IT’S YOU PUNISHMENT” the alpha raised his voice which made rain close her mouth before saying anything else. “Now I think is the best time to leave” Alue whispered to Blake who just nodded and began to slowly walk to the healers den. When he went in the den he saw a small rock big enough to hold a wolf on it and he turn his head to see three she-wolfs looking at him. “is this the healing den I was told to come here to get my wound healed” Blake said to the three females. “yes this is please come lay down on the healing rock and we will do what we can” one of them said kindly. Blake walk over to the stone and got on and laid down which hurt badly do to his broken leg. The healing began with the three females licking the dirty wounds it hurt badly but Blake managed it well. it seemed to take hours and by the time they were done it was dark outside. Blake began got of the rock and began to walk out feeling ten time better then when he came in when he was at the mouth of the den he looked at one of the females with blood on her mouth she seemed his age and looked her in the eyes “thank you” was all he said to her making her whole face turn red but blake didn’t notice.

Blake walk to a den that Alue told him to go to after he was back at the alpha den and walk in side he saw a male wolf that turned to him and said “so mate you’re the one the pack is all talking about hu well my name shadow” he said in an Australian accent. When Blake's eye adjusted to the dark he saw his new room mate or den mate in this case his fur was dark gray on top and normal gray on the bottom. “I hope you as a den mate will help me get some girls mate” he said childishly. “Maybe but let’s call it den friend or pal because den mate don’t sound right in a way and call me blake” blake said joking around. “Ok mate you got your self a deal you sick mined ocumwhowurst*” Shadow joked. “ I don't know what that means but I don't care right now” blake said with a yawn. With that resolved blake laid on the other side of the den and began to fall asleep think of the dreams, the two wolves, the dark pup, and what of this power "maybe it was all a stupid dream" the male said to himself not knowing what journeys are ahead but now it's a time for rest, not adventure.
