Chapter 1- The howling begins
"Jenna, I..."
"HOOOWL!"
"What?" Balto stared at Jenna... She slowly faded away from the howl that rang through Balto's ears.
"Jenna?!" Balto yelled.
"HOOOOOOOOWWWLLL!!!"
"AAAH!" Balto cried as he woke up from a deep sleep. "Huh?" Balto breathed heavily. Panicking, Balto gazed at his surroundings, his eyes were open wide, he was in his abandoned boat in which he called 'home'.
"HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWLLLLL!!!!!"
Balto's heart began to pound... Wasn't the howling just his dream?
The deafening howl came again.
"What does that mean?" Balto asked himself. "I know! Jenna might help me figure it out!"

Chapter 2- Balto calls for help
"Jenna!" Balto called, waiting patiently outside Jenna's house. A few moments later, Jenna came running through the door to where Balto was standing.
"Oh, Balto. Whats wrong?" Jenna asked, her warm voice calmed Balto down a bit. "You look like you've seen a ghost!" Jenna joked. Her smile fell when she saw how seriouse Balto's face was.
"Jenna..." Balto began, the howl still ringing through his ears. "Jenna, that howl.. What does it mean? Why do I keep hearing it?" Balto asked, trying to keep as calm as he could.
"What are you talking about Balto? I can't hear any howling at all!" Jenna answered, with a puzzled face.
"What?" Balto asked
"I cant hear anything at all!" Jenna replied.
Balto frowned.
"I know! I'll go to Boris for help! He always helps out!" Suggested Balto. Before Jenna could say a word, Balto sped of to Boris for help.
"Boris!" Balto shouted, making Boris jump. "Boris! I need your help!" Balto said.
"What is the problem Balto?" Boris asked.
"Well, you see, I keep hearing this howling... Jenna can't hear it, can you?" Balto said.
"Well.... No, not really!" Boris answered. "Mabe you going crazy!" Boris laughed.
"No Boris, seriously, I can hear howling!" Balto continued.
"Well, what does it sound like?" asked Boris.
"It.." Balto began. "It... It feels like someones calling me!"
"Calling you?" Boris asked frowning.
"Yeh, it feels like someone far away is calling me." Balto lifted his head up and gazed at the sky.
Boris was silent.
"Mabe a good nights sleep will help you clear your head a bit!" Boris suggested. Balto smiled.

Chapter 3- Balto sets off!
That night Balto couldn't sleep very well. All he could think about was the howling which still ran through his ears. He began to get a head ache.
"Someones calling..."
No matter how many times Balto tossed and turned, he couldnt fall asleep.
"I feel it... Someones calling me.. Soneone I know!" Balto whispered to himself. "I have to find them!"
Balto leaped up, swung around and dashed towards the mountians.
'I can feel it...' Balto thought of that one phrase as he ran through the night.
"HOOOWWWLLL!" was the only thing he could hear. He could feel the wind upon his face, the air upon his skin,  and the mud on the ground banging against his racing feet.

Chapter 4- The bear attacks!
Slowly, Balto entered the dark forest, taking no notice of the shadows lurking behind him. Suddenly, the air went damp, the wind went cold and the clouds began to turn gray. The night was gloomy. SNAP! Balto gasped and skidded to a halt. Being aware, he looked back, his eyes peeled for any movement at all. Nothing but pure darkness. Balto looked ahead and prepared himself to run. But, before he could even move an inch, a big, angry bear apeared out of nowhere. As fast as he could, Balto leaped out of the way of the grizzly bears threatening attack. What would he do?
Quickly, Balto sprinted towards the bear, his fangs prepared to attack! But, the bear was clever it struck a frightening attack! Balto was aware and dodged the attack with all his might! Like a bolt of lightning, he sprinted again and the bear was unaware.... GROAN! The bear flew back like a bullet from a pistol and thuded onto the hard ground. Balto breathed heavily.
"That was close!" he panted. He rolled his eyes towards the mountains where the howling came from. "I must keep going!" he encouraged himself and set of once again.

Chapter 5- Crossing the river rapids

"Whats that sound?" Balto muttered to himself. Then, his eyes widened. "Oh no! A river rapid!" Balto cried. Skidding to a halt, Balto gazed at the river as it rapided through his path.
"Now I'll never get across!" Balto groaned. But, when all hope seemed lost, he remembered the way he and Aleu crossed the ocean on their quest to find Aleus destiny. This time, it was his destiny!
"Now, what can I use to get across.." Balto thought puzzled. Just then, he spotted a log, a big rock and a vine dangling from a old willow tree!
"Perfect!" he cried exitedly! Balto reached out a paw towards the log, but he just coulnt reach!
"Great!" Balto sighed as he streched out his paw. Balto got up walked up the river bank and prepared himself.
"Ok! Here I go!" Balto murmered taking a deep breath. Then, Balto dived down into the river and splashed frantikly.
"Why did I do that?" Balto yelled at himself. "I cant swim very well!" Balto kicked his legs with all his strength and swam towards the log. Gasping for breath, Balto swam and swam until he fineally reached the log. He breathed heavily as he sat down upon the log for a little rest. Once he caught his breath back, he sprinted towards the big rock, stretching his body out as far as he could. His front paws gripped onto the rock as he pulled himself up to safety. Baltos heart began to thud. Then it missed a beat. Was he going to make the jump to the vine?
Balto took another deep breath and leaped as high as he could to reach the vine.
'I just hope it can hold my weight!' Balto thought to himself. His fanges grasped onto the vine and he began to swing his body backwards and forwards. Suddenly he heard a snapping noise. THE VINE! Balto let go of the vine as it fell into te rapids. His paws stretched out long and wide, ready to grab the river bank. He closed his eyes, hesitating to look. Suddenly, his paws grabbed onto the bank. Balto opened his eyes and let out a sigh of releif. Struggling to heive himself up, he realized that he was very close to the mountains in which the howling called. He managed to get onto the bank and then he ran towards the mountains. The howling was so close...

Chapter 6- Final chapter
Balto dashed towards the howling, exitement burst through his body as he approached a shadowed figure... The figure was howling. Sunlight shone over the figure as daylight came. Baltos eyes widened. His stomach was in a knot. He couldnt believe his eyes...
"Could it be...."
