Actually, I did have some experience with bass before taking up the
instrument full-time. I learned how to play a song on there in one
month, whereas my brother took THREE months to learn a song on guitar.
In my primary genre - metal - the bass has properties of both a melody
instrument (guitar) and a rhythm instrument (drums). Basically, it's
the glue that holds both sections together. I also had some guitar experience playing a friend's electric guitar back in high school. Granted I only got to play it twice, but I was told I sounded good on it. Right now, though, I have found my forte at the low end of the sonic spectrum: playing electric bass guitar. |

for me it's different. I could'nt have kids even if I wanted too. I
would love too but I can't have any of my own and it would be hard for
me to adopt. the first thign they would do is look at me and my band
and all of my interests and say your a monster. |
