Description
Otto, a hound dog, is the blacksmith of the village of Nottingham. He has recently suffered a broken right leg from some unfortunate accident. The leg is bound in a cast and he walks with the support of a crutch. He is a kind fellow who, like the other common folk of Nottingham, loves Robin Hood and is loyal to King Richard.
Origins of the character: While there are no specific foundations for this character in the Robin Hood legends, Otto does represent a sample of the average citizens of the village of Nottingham.
