Umm, hi ^^;

I have joined here primarily for Balto Source, but I do plan to take part in a few others.  I have my sights set on getting some things up for The Lion King Source and might even develop plans for the All Dogs Go To Heaven one too.

I really should've gotten on Balto Source a long time ago, as I'm a fan of all three of the Balto films.  My fanhood for them began when Wolf Quest was announced really, as it evolved from a one-time fling into a series of films, so that's a bit more fan-worthy.  I loved Wolf Quest so much (as my username will likely tell you) and am disappointed by all the hate it gets and all the praise that goes to Wings of Change instead.  I enjoy all three of them, and I wish that everyone else could just respect them all.  Because if sequels never came, I wouldn't have become a fan.  Simple as that.

Now you might think the name 'Boltro' in my username was derived from 'Balto' but that's not the case.  It's actually from the anime Zatch Bell, where 'Baltro' was a giant armored wolf mamodo that I'm pretty sure you can't even find info about on the internet.  I have used this name for my personas in the furry fandom for years, it has become my alias, it has become me.  I will continue to use it as I wish because of this.  But the reason I used it here is because when I did explain the name's origin, everyone THOUGHT it was derived from 'Balto'.  So I went along with their generalization and used it here.

However as another little fact, I DID base the design of my original Boltro fursona (a red wolf) on a design I came up with for Balto's son Dingo, who as many of you likely know was mentioned in Wolf Quest but hasn't been used or referenced since.  I would imagine little adventures with him and Balto and eventually Kodi together as a kid, as if there was a Balto tv show or something (which they should totally do, am I right?).  I made Dingo my own character, my own persona - or avatar in James Cameron's definition of the term - to enter that different world.  (fyi not an Avatar fan, District 9 was and is so much better.)

Anyways I'm finally here, I hope to participate and show my true Alaskan aurora colors!

...I'm not Alaskan, am American though.  But I just said the above for...you know, Balto and all... ^^;
