The Princess & The Frog DVD

The "simple" 1-disc DVD edition of the film. It looks like Disney is, on purpose, limiting the extras on this disc.

Additional content :

Deleted scenes

Audio Commentary by Filmmakers

“What Do You See?” Princess Portrait Game

“Never Knew I Needed” Music Video by Ne-Yo"

The Princess & The Frog Bluray

This is the High Definition version of the film (ie the best image quality, but you need both a Bluray player and a HD-ready TV to play it)

Additional content :

Play Movie with “Work in Progress”

Backstage Disney

Deleted Scenes

Bringing Life to Animation

Filmmaker Intros and Audio Commentary

The Princess & The Frog Triple DVD + Bluray + Digital copy combo

As the title suggest, this includes both the DVD and Bluray disc, and also a digital copy (that you can download from internet, I suppose)

My recommandation

Get the triple combo! Even if you don't have a Bluray player currently, you WILL have one sooner or later. So for only an additional half of the price, you get the dvd immediately AND will be able to experience the film in its best version and enjoy the more numerous extras from the Bluray later.

Currently, this is the best selling edition of the film (as preorders), and there's no telling why...
