History:
Lavender Harvest was born to her mother, Midnight Iris, and her estranged father, Sand Dollar. When Lavender was an infant, Sand Dollar left her and her mother in search of a "better life", as he didn't want a mare and foal holding him back. Iris was upset initially, unsure of how she would provide for little Lavender, but with what little bits she had left from her current job, she hired a foalsitter to watch Lavender while she strenuously worked.

Lavender was a little naughty as a foal, and would often wander away from her caretaker. However, after discovering a flower shop ran by three friends, often referred to as sisters, this is where Lavender would stay most days. This meant Iris wouldn't have to pay for a pony to watch her daughter, as the sister-friends were more than happy to watch Lavender free of charge. These sister-friend's were named Daisy, Lily Valley, and Roseluck, and they loved having Lavender around. They taught her simple plant care and even employed her as a special employee. While Lavender wouldn't run the register, she would take orders and arrange bouquets for customers. This ultimately earned her her cutiemark, a small bunch of lavender. When she wasn't working, she would often paint still life's of flower bouquets. 

Lavender began to tire of this life though. She wanted to leave, but she didn't want to give up her talent. After speaking with her mother, and her new step-father, they agreed that she should travel around Equestria and help out local flower shops. Lavender traveled for most of her teenaged life. She returned home often, especially to see her little sister, Amaranth. Her travels stopped after she stumbled upon a great forest with unfamiliar species of flowers. Curious by this, she began to gather everything she saw until she was scared away deeper into the woods by Timberwolves. Before the wolves could do harm, she was rescued by mystery a group of ponies.

These ponies appeared to be from a village within the forest. Grateful for their rescue, they invited her to their village to stay until she was ready to leave. Lavender wouldn't leave though, as when she began to befriend all of the villager ponies, one pony stood out to her. The chief's daughter, Peach Buttercream, held her attention. Peach seemed interested in Lavender as well. After getting to know each other better, they began a relationship.
