Name: Swamp Oak [Swampy/Swamps]

Friends: Frost

Cutie Mark: Lilly pad with flower [such as: [ [link] ]]. He aquired it when he saved a trapped turtle in a pond (covered in lilies) and realized that helping animals was what he wanted to do, and indeed turned into his special talent.

Age: Big Mac's age

Gender: Stallion (bulky Mac-like build)

Species: Earth Pony

Occupation: Takes care of animals [much like FlutterShy], but from deeper in the forest. Specializes in veterinary care and animal rescue.

Personality: Chatty, but not many to talk to. He'll ramble to his animal friends for a long time before realizing they don't reply. Also somewhat fidgety. Not shy, but can be a bit paranoid. He occasionally indulges in some banjo playing. Enjoys a good game with Frost (who he has almost nothing in common with but is somehow friends with him anyway).

Appearance: **Often wears a yellow bandana. Notch on the tip of his left ear.** Grass green body with a lime green muzzle and hooves (hooves are feathered). Mane and tail are of medium length, and colors are green like his body with a more vibrant shade of green streaked with it. Eyes fade from blue to light blue. Has 3 freckles under each eye.  

Like/dislike: Likes- unusual or unloved animals, dark forests, warm weather, swimming, his pet opposum 'Bucket' | Dislikes- sweets, freezing weather, crowds, conflict

History: Grew up with a few sisters and a younger brother, but hardly sees them anymore. In his desperation to be on his own, he moved rather far from home to the Everfree Forest. He found a place there where he was needed and was content, but he often leaves the forest to seek company of others, often talking to random strangers if he's in an environment that isn't too populated. Fluttershy (one of his 'co-workers' i guess you could call her), came to see him after he'd only been there no more than a month, with an oppossum that was gravely ill. After bring him back from his sickness, he kept the strange animal and dubbed him 'Bucket' (as the oppossum is known to "play dead", he named it after the related phrases of 'bucket list', and 'kicking the bucket'). He since had lived modestly, only change in his life when Frost visits him. They met when Swamps found him at a diner eating a dandelion sandwich, which he at the time declared his favorite food, although he was there for a strawberry shake. Frost was baffled by the strange earth pony he had never met talking to him, but he found he rather enjoyed his company, and their friendship bloomed gradually from there. Random history; his grandfather on his mother's side is a unicorn.

Relation with the movie: An associate of Fluttershy's, he treats cases that might be out of her profession, and vise-versa. His pet oppossum 'Bucket', is one of the animals he treated for her that he got attatched to.
